Star: Well, here is the first chapter of this year for this story! It's already been four years since I've been working on this story T-T time sure flies. And I'm nowhere near done... ~ I'll try to update but with everything going on, it's really difficult and it's hard trying to come up with the next several chapters of the story. Anyway, I hope you guy enjoy the chapter! I own nothing but the plot!

Previously:

"You know.." Amu started as she turned to look at Ikuto who was already paying attention. "I think I look more forward now to see how my life will be from now on," she said with a bright smile which Ikuto couldn't help but smile.

" I'm sure you will. I'll be by your side to make sure of it." Ikuto said and placed his arm around her shoulder.

Amu's P.O.V~

"Ah!" Amu cried out as her back hit a wall soon falling to the ground. She groaned as she tried to get up from the impact her character transformation with Ran undoing

"S-sorry Amu" Ran apologized as swirls appeared in her eyes as she retreated back to her egg.

"It's okay," Amu said as she stood up looking at the person in front of her. Lucy, on the other hand, stood several feet away from Amu her weapon disappearing from her hands.

"Alright, girls that's enough training!" Ryou called out through a speaker within the white room both girls were in. Lucy undid her transformation and walked over to Amu extending her hand towards her

"You did a whole lot better this time" She commented once Amu was up

"Thanks," Amu said dusting herself off before smiling at Lucy "for helping me train as well," She said as both girls made their way out of the training room. It's been a month since Amu had found her mother and discover why she had been separated and all. Ever since then Amu and Ikuto had moved from the hotel they were planning to stay at Amu's Parent's house. Reasons? In order for Amu to be able to create the bonds she had lost with her parents. Two kish didn't like Ikuto enough nor did he like the fact that his daughter was staying with a boy alone. Then again, he seemed to notice that just like him, his daughter had an interest with someone who pretty much had a cat-like personality. He blamed himself for her falling for the cat-like boy. Then again, he wasn't going to let any guy near his daughter even when he was separated from his daughter for so long, he stilled hoped that no guy would have laid their eyes on his daughter. But apparently, one has. Daily, both would bicker around to the girls' disappointment. Amu even had the idea that there wouldn't be a possibility of both ever getting along. Ichigo would just reassure her daughter, telling her that her father was just over protective. She even told Amu about how he acted back when she was with someone else. In which Amu wonder if her dad was even sane based on what she heard and then questioned why her mother fell for him. She told him it was the way he changed when he had returned. In which to Amu, it must have been a huge change to win her mother's heart for what he had done in the past.

Occasionally, Amu would see the love and affection her father would give to her mother. Although she found it embarrassing, she found it sweet how they support each other in every way. Aside from all that, Amu got closer to the rest of the new generation of mews. Although she had never really transformed into a mew yet, she was already placed as the team leader of the group just a few days ago. The responsibility wouldn't be easy so throughout the month, there were several attacks caused by Miyu. Amu had paid close attention to the fighting style of the other mews and how their powers work. Occasionally, Amu and Kish would meet up in the training room to help her and test out to see if she did have the same powers her father possessed. it took time that's for sure, but she was able to manage to teleport. Which amazed Amu in excitement. She also began working at the Café and had been enrolled at the high school her mother had gone to, along with the other girls. Lucy, Rosella, and Katara have done their best in teaching Amu everything she could know about being a mew, about being a worker at the cafe and anything about the school they attended. Katara also helped Amu with her Alien powers as well.

Amu gave out a sigh as she sat down on the chair; laying her head on the table. Keichiiro gave out a small chuckle as he placed some warm tea next to her. "You must have worked harder today, haven't you?" He questioned and Amu gave a short nod as she lifted her head slightly; looking at the cup of tea. "It's nice to see that you're taking this whole thing well. We used to fear you would deny everything." Keichiiro said while taking a seat in front of Amu.

"Fear?" Amu questioned and Keichiiro nodded.

"We were sure that maybe you couldn't have forgiven us, mainly your parents, for sending you away to live with a close friend of Ichigo-san. Not to mention also accepting that you are both a mew and alien. For someone to take it all in would be difficult. Especially someone who didn't know that all of this existed." Keichiiro explained before giving out a small chuckle. "The girls had struggle a lot when they first found out as well." He said.

"They did?" Keichiiro nodded and smiled.

"But I'm sure the girls would be better off explaining their story to you than me." He said and Amu nodded. "Now, are you up to me teaching how to make a strawberry cake today? Or do you want to stall it for tomorrow?" He asked.

"Tomorrow.. if you don't mind," Amu said with a nervous smile and Keichiiro nodded as he stood up.

"Well, I should start preparing some snacks for the rest of the girls," He said and made his way towards the kitchen. Amu looked at the tea as she placed a hand on the handle of the cup and took a small sip of it. As she was about to place her cup down, she felt arms wrap around her shoulders.

"Amu~..." She heard Ikuto whine as he rested his head on her shoulder. "When will you have time for me~?" He asked. It felt like years for him since he last spent time with Amu, but he knew Amu had been busy and she wanted to spend time with her real parents; along with being able to use her powers and all. He was happy that Amu was able to build that lost bond with her parents, that she had made new friends and met more of her family. The only thing he didn't like though was when she began working at the café. He wasn't comfortable with the fact that Amu had to wear a maid outfit while working. Well, he didn't mind that- he just got annoyed when the guys began looking at her. And then there was that Takuto guy. Apparently, he was the same age as Ikuto. Both now attending the same college as Ikuto had enrolled in, in order to stay near Amu. But the fact that Takuto seemed to have become friends with Amu. When? He didn't know. All he knew was that the guy had gotten to know Amu one day when an attacked was made and he wasn't there when it happened.

"Now." Amu said with a smile as she turned slightly to look at him. A smirked appeared on Ikuto's lips.

"Great!" He responded as he grabbed her arm; leading her out of the café.

"Where are we going, Ikuto?" Amu questioned as she looked around her surroundings as they were walking around.

"Somewhere," He responded. Amu only tilted her head; wondering what Ikuto could be planning as she followed him.

"I've had enough!" Miyu yelled as a glass cup shattered upon her throwing it to the wall. She slammed her hand onto a table. Both Kira and Akumu watched as Miyu had begun another tantrum.

"You've been saying that for the past week." Akumu spoke up annoyed as she heard another cup being shattered; her arms crossed over her chest while leaning against the wall of their headquarters.

"And this time, I will defeat those pest!"

"You also said that for the past week." Kira said as she was using a wrench; working on her invention while Akumu sighed.

"Listen Miyu, you're not completing your job of this mission," Akumu said placing her hands on her hips while glaring at Miyu who scoff.

"Hey, I'm doing all I can on this mission, your Highness." Miyu taunted while causing Akumu to glare more as she walked towards Miyu.

"Listen here: I am in charge of this whole group and mission." She started and Miyu rolled her eyes.

"Whatever, I could care less if you are. I'm only here to destroy that woman and that is all. I don't care what you want in order to complete this mission. But my mission is to get rid of that cat and her annoying daughter out of the picture; along with that stupid wolf and monkey for taking away my brothers from where they belong.." She said.

"It still leads to our mission as well! By destroying these mews, we'll be able to provide deep blue-sama an easier way into taking over over earth for us."

"All I care is getting my brothers back."

"Stubborn like your brothers, I see." Akumu said and crossed her arms over her chest. "Which caused them to be defeated by the mews, failed on their mission and not to mention end up being the husbands of three of the mews!" Akumu yelled. A sigh was heard as Kira watched both girls argue. she shook her head then back at her hands. 'Why am I here again?' She thought; wondering she neither wanted to help Deep Blue nor did she held any hatred towards the mews. She found no purpose in it. She had visit earth with Miyu when she could and they easily blended in with the humans with their new inventions. So why still fight over earth when you can live disguised as a human? And for the mews, they won't hurt you if you didn't cause any trouble, that was for sure. But who will accept her? she was an outsider for her alien race and for being human, how would she survive? she was stuck in between. But that is just who she was: not fully Alien nor fully human.

"Oi! Kira!" Miyu called out; bringing Kira out of her thoughts as she turned to face Miyu.

"Yes?" She asked as Miyu walked over he and grabbed her by the arm.

"Let's go. You're coming with me." She said; practically dragging Kira out who tried standing up.

"Where to?" She asked as she glanced at Akumu who turned away; annoyed and walk to another part of their lair.

"I need some ice-cream to cool off. So you're accompanying me and help me think of a plan to defeat the Mews, meanwhile you still work on your machine thing." Miyu said as she came to a stop and looked at Kira. "Ready?" She asked; signaling she was about to transport them down to earth. Kira only nodded. She was in between, but Miyu always saw her as one of them. She never ignored her nor did she treat her differently just because she wasn't fully alien. Her only home was near Miyu and that's why she came here to continue to make Miyu happy. She will help her destroy the mews as well.

Amu and Ikuto had been walking around town till they arrived in front of an amusement park.

"Took you guys long enough!" Lucy called out as she waved at Ikuto and Amu. Amu only raised an eyebrow.

"B-but weren't you.." She started before Lucy gave out a laugh and wrapped her arms around Katara who was looking at the rides the amusement parks had to offer.

"Our Katara is part alien, if I need to remind you. So her abilities allowed us to transport us here," She said and Katara only nodded.

"Plus, we thought we were going to be late since we were nowhere near ready!" Rosella pointed out. "Now, let's go inside!" She said cheerfully; pointing towards the entrance.

"No, not yet," Ikuto started before Rosella could move a step forward.

"Why not?" Katara asked curiously.

"We're waiting for someone else," Ikuto began. "Well, more like several more people." He finished and the girls looked at each other curiously. Amu turned to face Ikuto; asking for an explanation but before she could even let out a word, she felt something heavy on her.

"Amu-chii!" She heard as she almost fell to the ground.

"Y-Yaya?" Amu asked as she turned her head slightly to see a grinning Yaya on her back. "But how?" Amu asked as Yaya got off her and then turned to face her.

"There is a thing called transportation," a voice called out and Amu looked up to see the rest of her friends walking towards them; each of them smiling at her.

"Guys!" Amu called out; surprised but still confuse at everything. Before the answer, it hit her and she turned back towards Ikuto. "Did you...?" She started and he gave her a smirk.

"My little Strawberry was probably homesick so I thought I'd bring some of it back to your new home," He said. Amu smiled; ignoring the nickname and hugged him.

"thank you." She said.

"Hey, I think the hugging should be towards us don't you think, Hinamori?" Kukai said with a grin and Amu laughed before walking towards her friends and giving each of them a hug.

"I missed you guys." she said once she finished.

"We missed you too, Amu-chan." Tadase said with a gentle smile. Amu smiled back and scanned the faces of her friends before she noticed one of them actually missing.

"Where's Naighiko?" Amu asked as her friends then looked at each other; wondering where their purple haired friend was before they heard giggling. They turned and saw Nagihiko jogging towards them.

"Sorry guys!" He called out as he reached them; scratching the back of his neck with a nervous laughter.

"Why did we stop?" Amu heard the voice of Ami as she looked at Nagihiko, up and down as she noticed a pair of legs on either side of his hips. Nagihiko only smiled as he crouched down.

"Because we're here, Ami-chan." He said as Ami was placed down from his back and she got off. Amu's eyes widen as she saw Ami next to Nagihiko; tears starting to form. Ami, once she fixed her skirt, looked up and notice her big sister there in front of her. A huge smile formed on her face as she ran towards her.

"Onee-chan!" She exclaimed as she was Amu. She wrapped her arms around her sister and carried her.

"Ami!" she said while hugging her tightly. She had been so preoccupied with her new home and getting used to everything that she barley called back towards her old home. She missed her family there dearly, especially the brightly cheerful girl she thought of as her sister. "I missed you." She said as she placed her sister down.

"I missed Onee-chan too!" Ami said with a huge smile. Meanwhile, the charas also had their own little reunion as well with one another. The girls, on the other hand, looked between each of them: They didn't expect so much company.

"Oh yeah," Amu started as she walked towards the girls. "Guys, this is Rosella." Amu started as Rosella gave out a cheerful smile and a wave.

"Hello!" She started.

"Lucy," Amu continued.

"Heyo!" Lucy said with a grin.

"And my cousin, Katara." Amu said and Katara nodded and gave a small wave.

"Hello." she said. The guardians and the others smiled at them. Amu then walked over to them and introduced them one by one as well.

"And this is Ami. She's my younger sister." She said and Ami smiled up at them.

"Aw, she's so adorable!" Rosella said as she admired her and her clothing. Ami only giggled.

"Well then, now that we have all introduce ourselves," Utau started.

"To the amusement park!" The rest of the gang cheered. Amu smiled as they all began walking towards the entrance to buy their tickets. A hand grabbed hers as she smiled up at Ikuto.

"Thank you." she said as he smiled at her.

"Hey, lovebirds! We don't have all day!" Utau and Lucy called out. Amu laughed as she and Ikuto walked towards them; ready to enjoy the rest of the days with her friends.
