Ivoriel's POV
I twisted the smooth handle to my bed chambers. It opened easily and silently. I stepped quietly inside, sensing that was not alone.
But what met my eyes was a sight to behold indeed. Shock grasped my insides like honey. Keeping me as still as a statue. Thoughts raced through my head at an incredible speed. I decided to wait and observe. Moriel had almost finished writing something on the wall. What appeared to be in blood?
'Servants are invisible. Nobody cares to look for them while committing a crime.' A memory of Thranduil's voice echoed in my mind. I shivered and inhaled.
Moriel heard me and upon noticing me, slithered down in a flash and was already in a defensive stance. I stood there and stared at her in disgust. Why was she doing this? How could she, she seemed so gentle.
"It was you! You are the one who has been doing the terrible things to those poor creatures and terrorising me!" I said aghast. It all seemed so obvious to me now. She scoffed at me and pulled an intricate knife into view. It wasn't big but it looked extremely sharp.
"Yes. It was me." She said simply yet somewhat smugly, her back straightened proudly as if daring me to do or say something. She took a menacing step towards me. I didn't have any weapon on me. Or even near me. My eyes flickered around for a way to escape. If I couldn't fight her than I would run.
She continued to advance towards me. I ducked when she slashed her knife forward and pushed her exposed side. She stumbles forward slightly and glances back at me. I thought to get my knife or something. But I was never given the chance. She came hurtling back towards me. I grabbed her wrist in an effort to stop her from hurting me but she kept the other out of reach.
I then desperately tried to escape her malicious clutches. She didn't stab me, no instead she hit me over the head with something hard. I felt a warmness spread over my head and yet I still tried to fight. Except she only needed to firmly push me down. The blow had stunned me and I went down easily.
My collapsing body landed on the hard stone floor. My mind sought light but found only darkness…
…
Through the wall entrance they went, one that Ivoriel had found and one that Moriel had known for so long. Moriel dragged her through it. Not once caring if the rough ground hurt her or caused damage. It didn't matter for where she was going.
Moriel continued for some time to the lower levels of the realm. A little cell past the dungeons under the water fall. It would be cold and wet there. Moriel very much doubted anyone would hear Ivoriel scream or otherwise over the rushing water. She had this planned for some time now. Thranduil was hers. And if she couldn't have him, no one will.
The soft rays of dawn approached and still no one noticed the disappearance of Ivoriel. Would they find her before Moriel had her way?
…
Thranduil had fallen asleep at his desk early hours of the morning. As the effects of the alcohol had worn off he had realised what he had done. He felt no regret for kissing Ivoriel. If given the chance he would do it again but he wished she had not left so early. Her lips were so forgiving, so delicate and yet addictively delectable. Her hair was smooth and soft to the touch. Her scent so luscious.
Thranduil's heart ached to see her again. He could feel a hardness settle in his pants, a feeling he has not had to deal with for so long. His head pounded slightly. He wanted to see her. This infatuation was beginning to turn into an obsession. In fact he would see her. Now!
He stood from his chair, only to realise the slight problem. He wasn't wearing appropriate attire and well that. Thranduil thought looking down. He marched into his bedroom and tidied himself up.
…
Thranduil glided towards Malenor's wing of the royal quarter. He knocked once on the door, only to realise a note on the door.
"If anyone should need anything, Gwaenor my son will temporarily be in my place as head. As I have gone to Lothlorien to join my wife."
The king's head healer, Malenor.
The note was in his cursive writing. Thranduil knocked again but there was no answer. He waited a few moments before opening the door. It was unlocked. 'Unusual…' he thought when he swung the door open. It was eerily quiet. Which again he thought was strange. The elven king sensed no one here. No a soul. He walked down a corridor, opening a few doors as he went, until he found Ivoriel's.
He looked around. There were spots of blood on the floor and signs of a struggle. Panic seeped into his stomach.
"Guards!" he yelled. They were there in mere seconds. As they followed him wherever he went.
"Find Malenor's daughter! Find Ivoriel!" he ordered urgently to them. Some of them scurried off, others scouted the room and household. Thranduil on the other hand left to assemble a search party.
The threats that she had been getting were serious. Very serious. He realised to late.
…
Gwaenor, completely oblivious to where his sister was or what she was doing, was barely able to acknowledge where he even was. Soon he realised it definitely wasn't his bedroom. No, it was somewhere completely foreign to him. He still had his party clothing on from the night before and was under unfamiliar sheets and blankets.
Something or rather someone touched his foot, making him jump slightly. He flipped a pillow to find Estennil curled into his side, on what he guessed was her bed. He was over whelmed. 'It was not a dream at all!' he thought merrily. But this! This was absolutely scandalous. He shouldn't be in an Elleth's bed. But he was not going to ruin it in the slightest and fell back into a deep sleep with happy thoughts and memories clouding his mind.
Soo I am so sorry for the wait but I hope to update again soon. Looking forward to seeing if you guys enjoyed this chapter?
