Fair is Foul, and Foul is Fair

I couldn't believe what was happening...out of everyone in my fate...my best friend's the one that betrays me...

"C-Crystal..." I squeaked as tears comes out of my eyes, "W-...Why?"

She glared as she spoke, "Suck it up, you're only seventeen...I spent my life crying of how people make fun of me ever since I was little! That is until you came in and help me...but time after time, the bullies gain a huge advantage...which is why I want to be a wolf...I begged life and the stars and everything, but nothing work...so I chose to use dark arts to grant my wish...which is how I met him...

I never want to be a master...and so...just like you...I became his apprentice...and now...all of my dreams have come true..."

Just as she hesitate to finished...she started to glow, growing bigger and transforming her shape, speaking with a deep echo mixing with her voice, "...But it's not enough unless I sacrifice what was part of me...I have a hard thinking until he told me the true sacrifice...is my best friend...You..."

Just as the glow faded, she turned into a giant wolf, growling at me with demonic eyes...I step back, squeaking again, "You don't have to do this! It isn't right!"

But Crystal doesn't respond, she howled at the sky and pounce towards me...I was so scared that I started running for my life!

I can't drive, but I tried running to the car, but Crystal knocked it off the cliff with her tail.

All I can hear besides the explosion and my pants of fear as I kept running, was Jackson's terrible laugh that's much crazier than Undertaker's. I looked at him and he grinned, "This is quite a show, you really mastered the art of fear and being pathetic~! I knew it was a good time to drag you over here without a completion of your training~!"

I kept running, I tried transforming into a bird to hide in the trees, but Crystal crushed each tree I was on until the only thing there is boulders, shrubs, and a huge river.

I want to fly over the river to more of the trees, but due to how much I fly, I was too tired to do it!

It only took a push for Crystal to get me hit by one of the boulders, I turned back as I slide to the ground. I look up so weakly as Crystal gotten closer...

I thought this could be the end...

The real end of Madison until...

In a smash of black light someone powerfully kicked Crystal out of my way. I looked up and saw Sebastian standing in her place.

I don't know what to say, saying thank you? Saying sorry for everything? But instead, Sebastian walked towards me and bent down to my sitting position, "You don't need to say words...I shouldn't have been angry at a young lady...However, all I tried to do is to warn you...I hope you can forgive me..."

I think about it before I heard Jackson speaking, "Oh look who's here~! It's her knight in shiny armor~!"

Sebastian glared as he turned to him, "I do not appreciate using women as your toys, Jackson Hyde..."

"Oh, Really," Jackson smirked, "Women are nothing more than just simple dolls...they mostly have the brain of a simple doll...All they cared more is complaining and making men servants, and you should know that, bird brain..."

I noticed after Crystal being hit by Sebastian, she looked shocked as she turned back, "What are you talking about?"

He sneered at Crystal as he spoke, "Women aren't suppose to be in this world! I killed many women, even hypnotized men to rape them! I want them all to suffer, make their lives a living hell, like what you are doing to your friend...and yourself! I made you a wolf so it show that your dreams can be crushed...I lied about you fighting your friend and just like a dog, you followed it..."

He turned to me with a glare and roared, "I didn't care for my cruddy fate, because I can still make another girl's life a living hell! I could've killed you before the time you walk to the silver hair reaper, but then I realized I will let yourself and many other women get tortured as well...but you and your friends ruined everything!"

He then grinned and chuckled as he walked towards me, "Well, now that your stupid friend made yourself look so weak and pathetic...you have no power over me..."

He raised his sharp claws in the air that are, literally, like daggers, "It's time to die~!"

I closed my eyes tightly and then heard a push with a grunt, I looked and saw Crystal trying to fight Jackson, yelling, "YOU EVIL UGLY MONSTER! YOU TRICKED ME! YOU MADE ME HURT MY BEST FRIEND!"

As they fight, Sebastian walked to me and spoke, "You will end up healing yourself, but for now..."

With that, he touched my head, causing a small glow that healed all my cuts and wounds. He then spoke, "I think it's best we leave..."

I was about to accept...but I looked at Crystal who is trying so hard to make sure Jackson gets what he deserve. She is strong about this, but...she look like she needed my help...

I look at Sebastian and spoke, "I don't want to go...I can't leave my friend behind..."

He looked at me with confusion, "Madison?"

I looked at him and with a serious determined look, I spoke, "I'm no coward...I'm not like some teenage boy who backs down from a giant robot mech...I'm no half vampire teenage girl who cannot decide which vampire boy she wants...I won't back down! I won't walk away!...I won't be that pathetic girl anymore!"

He looked pretty shocked at my determination, then smirk, "You reminded me of my young master...and I favor a human with a stroke of pride and determination..."

I don't know what to reply, but what slipped out was a blush tint...but then...

We heard a scream, we saw Crystal being stabbed through by Jackson's claws...He smirked and kicked her off the cliff.

I gasped and ran towards the cliff and without thinking, I jump down to save her, "CRYSTAL!"

"MADISON!" was all I heard from Sebastian when I realized I'm falling as well...I started thinking hard...that's when I remembered my wings. I closed my eyes tightly to let them appear and within a few seconds, I felt the shock of pain at my spine.

I looked back and saw my black and white wings, I smiled in success and I flew down, picking up Crystal and flew up back at the cliff.

I saw the shocked looks of Crystal, Sebastian, and Jackson as they saw my wings. As I land on the ground, I kneel down and lay Crystal on the cold ground carefully.

I looked at the wounds she had and I look up at Sebastian, "Help me, Sebastian! She's hurt! Heal her-"

"Madison," Crystal interrupted, "...I-I'm...sorry...I was a T-terrible fr-friend..."

I looked at Crystal and yelled with tears flowing, "Don't worry Crystal! Sebastian will help you! Please hang o-"

She held her hand up with the best of her abilities as she cough up blood, "P-Please...I-I deserve this..."

"No Crystal! Don't Die," I begged, "You can't leave me all alone! You're like the only sister I ever had!"

She smiled weakily as her voice starts fading in, "M-Madison...I-I'm proud...to have a friend like you...Y-You a-always make m-my dreams come true...S-stay strong Madison...S-stay brave...Madison..."

With a strong cough and a few wheezes, she slowly closed her eyes...I felt the last breath blowing some of the tears that were on my face...I started crying hard as I kept saying her name...

I heard Jackson laughing without any remorse from his undoing..."I knew that such a stupid wolf girl could ever fall first in this battle...now your weakness have taken over your mind..."

I heard him coming closer as my tears flowed more...I felt my heart bursting, my teeth clenching with my eyebrows scrunched up like paper...As I saw the shadow of his hand about to strike me, I stop his hand before hitting my hair by holding my grip into it...

I looked at him with a deathly glare which cause him to look scared or confused...

"You...killed...her..." I said, "You...ruined...my...life..."

I stood up and throw his arm away from my aura...I glared more as I spoke, "I am not weak...I'm not a coward...I'm not going to give up!"

With that...I felt a dark glow coming from me...I looked at Sebastian's and Jackson's surprised faces for what was happening to me...

I looked at my hands as they appeared black leather sleeves that goes from my wrist to somewhere close to my elbows...along with sharp black nails...

I looked down at my legs and saw I was wearing a short black and red stripped crossed skirt and black high heeled boots with a chain dangling at each boot and skirt...I saw my shirt turned into a black and red corset-like t-shirt with puffy sleeves...I can feel a choker around my neck, a long furry black fox tail was stroking my back along with my hair that now grew to my hip and on top of me was two black horns, which is all I felt...

All I ever think was...Is this...my demon form?

I saw Jackson glared and spoke, "That look will never defeat the powerful wrath of me!"

When he raced towards me, I kicked him at the jaw and punch him towards the boulders.

He glared and he raced and punch my tummy...it hurts, but oddly, it heals quickly...

He was about to kick my head, but a shock of punch came from Sebastian's arm. I smiled and he nodded that even though fate is fate, it's always best not to work alone.

With that, we fight two against one...but Jackson threw me towards the boulders, and as he was about to claw my wings...Sebastian ran in front, only cutting his shoulder...

I gasped and look at Sebastian who gotten weak...like Jackson hit his weak point...

"Are you ok, Sebastian?" I asked in panic.

He look up at me with a smile and spoke, "I'm alright...It'll be healed, but not right now..."

Jackson smirked, "Well, now it's just you and me..."

I glared and I punch him a few times; he then kicked me harder and harder...

He gotten stronger, which gotten me weak again as I land on the ground from his flings...I looked up at him as he spoke, "It's no use, Madison...you will always be pathetic..."

I tried standing up, but the hit caused me to collapsed...

But then I felt power coming towards me...with the demonic side blooming out like a flower...I stood up before Jackson aim his claws at me; and then I grabbed Jackson's arms, bending them close to his neck...

I glared and clawed deeply at his neck, screaming, "This is for my family!" I did the same on the other arm as I yelled, "This is for Crystal!" I did another, "This is for Sebastian!" Just when I was close to reach his neck bone, I can hear Jackson coughing up blood, some landed on my face as I yelled and clawed his neck bone, "And this is for you!...Good Bye!"

With the final claw attack, I cut off his neck bone...his head fell and his body collapsed...

I looked surprised from my victory...but I looked shocked for what I just did...

I noticed Sebastian walking towards me and spoke, "Wow...I never seen such a half demon cutting off her assassin's neck by his own claws...I do find that impossible, but then again, we're demons..."

I stared at the gore I did...I couldn't say anything...my visions start to collapsed, my thought circuts lagged...I got to my knees and collapsed tot he ground.

"Madison?"

It was all I heard from Sebastian before I passed out...
