Rina's pet snow leopard Toru and his pet turtle Tama circled around Ian. Toru licked Ian's cold fingers and Tama flew around Ian making soft and cute voices. No one tried to remove the sword in his stomach.

" This happened before, you know," Daisuke said.

" It has?" Keitaro asked.

" Yes. In Shakespeare. In Romeo and Juliet Romeo stepped in the way of his friend Mercutio to stop him and Tybalt from their fight. But all Romeo did was let his close friend be left open for Tybalt to attack. Who did this to my cousin Ian?"

" It was...Kaeda!" Ichigo shouted.

Daisuke turned his eyes to Kaeda. She looked so sorry for her actions. Her hands were covered in blood. Daisuke was undaunted hearing this. He was just surprised.

" Why did you hurt Ian, Kaeda - I thought you cared about him?"

Kaeda's mind was frozen. She placed over the sequence in her mind. She was charging at her mother, possessed, and her mother fighting from her will to kill, and Ian stepped in trying to stop them.

" Stop...can't you see what you are doing is wrong!"

Motoko stopped her charging. But Kaeda didn't stop because she was possessed. Just like in Romeo and Juliet she used that to her advantage. But she stabbed her sword through Ian's chest and her sword went into Motoko. Motoko still had her wound. It was small but it still bleed.

Daisuke couldn't remove the sword from Ian's stomach. Neither could anyone else of the residents and visitors except the person who put it in him in the first place.

" Kaeda..." Daisuke extended his right arm and touched Kaeda's shoulder. " You must take the sword out of Ian."

" Ian?"

" Yes. You and your mother's sword are made of a special kind of metal that makes it impossible to heal with modern medicine. That's why you must take the sword out and take him to the place where you were born. That's the only place he can find medicine."

" Ian?"

knock-knock-knock-knock-knock

Naru heard a knock on the front door. She thought it was another one of the residents who didn't show up. The only one she could think about was Daisuke's mother. She opened the door and found not Kanako or Keitaro's cousin Haruka. She found a girl her sons age. Her hair was long like hers but orange. Her eyes were like amber gemstones. She wore a pink blouse with a lavender bow round it and a giant sunhat. She looked so timid, docile, and diligent.

" Hello," she said shyly. " Is Ian home?"

" Who are you?" Naru asked.

" Hello, I'm a student in Ian's class. My name is Aimi. I haven't heard from him in days. Is he alright? He wasn't taking by terrorists and having his lungs filled with oil?"

" Uh, no. Gosh, where does Ian get these nuts? Ian's okay. He's just been a little preoccupied with - hey is that a Liddo-kun doll in your hands?"

" It is. Liddo-kun was my favorite show growing up. My favorite episodes was when they tried to eat each other in a cold cave, showing the cute side of cannibalism."

" That never happened. She's almost as crazy as Megumi."

" Ehem!" She coughed in her right arm. " Anyways...when Ian gets back I'm going to make him sit down and study ever second until he's caught up with everyone else. I'm going to help him get to Tokyo U together."

" You really care about my son, don't you? How long you two been going out?"

" Eh, you have it all wrong!" Aimi fumed when she heard that. She blushed and waved her hands. " Ian and I aren't going out. He's just a boy who I happen to know...who I'm over being androphobic around. If you talk to Ian tell him I said hello."

" Will do. Are you sure you wouldn't want to stay and have dinner with us. Our Shinobu makes the best food of everyone in the world."

" Thanks. I really wish I could sit down and eat dinner with you, but my father wants me back home or I'll be grounded."

" Okay, well I think I'll get someone to check on Motoko."

" Ow!" Motoko shouted rubbing a wet cloth over her scab. " How could I let myself be so careless. Now I have a wound. Wait, here's wound over here. What!? there's another one here. How many do I have?!"

" Hi, Naru asked me to help you with your wounds-"

Goro opened the door to Motoko's room. He was greeted by the sight of Motoko's butt. She raised her legs on the bed and showed her naked butt to Goro.

" AHHHHH!" Motoko screamed.

" AHHHHH!" Goro screamed. " What are you doing?!"

" I'm checking my wounds!"

" Kaeda Aoyama," she said.

" Who's that boy you're travelling with?"
