The demon looked into Lucifer's eyes and saw how he meant it. Lucifer was coming after her. His claws extended from his fingernails as he slashed them at the demon. She screamed and covered her face, but she was saved by Gero. At the last minute Gero jumped in front of her while Lucifer charged at her.

" I will protect you!" Gero shouted.

The demon flustered. Humans were a lot better now then when she died. She could see in his eyes that when Lucifer came after her he would protect her. That's not what happened. Lucifer jumped over Gero then disappeared from the area. Gero was wondering where he was, looking in the clouds because Lucifer can fly. Lucifer wasn't flying. He was behind him.

" Gotcha. You're the real one with the power. That's why you must be destroyed." Lucifer transformed his right hand into a red blade. Lucifer dashed towards Gero and slashed his blade into Gero.

Gero was cut. He was hemorrhaging from his chest and proudly going to die. However, his wound was covered by a blue seal and it magically healed. Lucifer laughed seeing Gero's power.

" I see. Your power is stronger than I anticipated. It's a good thing my power is ultimate."

Lucifer made a loud slurping sound. It sounded like those cave monsters Gero saw in movies. When the sound stopped Lucifer breathed a long stream of flames towards Gero. Gero, acting out of all the cartoons he's watched, took out his skateboard and spun it around. He pushed the flames away. The skateboard was even powered by Gero's hands.

' This isn't ordinary energy. He can pass it to one thing after another.'

Gero skates towards Lucifer and hits him. When Gero hit Lucifer he felt a strong wind slicing through his arm. It wasn't real, his arm was fine, but it made him gasp in pain after the first punch. Gero returned to the battle and kept jabbing his fists at Lucifer but Lucifer dodges him with ease.

' Strange. He's not using any of his powers. He's fighting like this is a game.' Lucifer waited until Gero was tired then created a shockwave that pushed him away. Lucifer danced around Gero's body while thinking to himself. ' If it's a game he wants then why not invite all his friends.'

Lucifer's white and dark wings opened from his back. He used them to push himself towards the edge. Gero got back up and charged towards Lucifer, but stopped when he heard someone. It sounded like screaming in his ear. It was happening inside his head and giving him headaches. All kinds of voices of different people all of whom were suffering, and then Gero realized they were the voices of his friends and loved ones.

" Gero help me!" The first was Gero's voice.

" Gero!" The second was Gero's second best friend Kana.

" Why did you do this Gero?!" Third was Gero's mother.

" I thought you loved me!" Last was the woman Gero loved Mitsuni.

While Gero was listening to those noises Lucifer was charging his hands with purple electricity. He then uses his powers to bring forth all the residents of the Hinata Inn. There was Kaeda who was weeping on the ground, Rina with Yui who were looking around together, Ian's parents Naru and Keitaro, everyone except for Ian.

" What's going on?!" Rina yelled.

" Why was there an earthquake?!" Yui yelled completely frazzled.

" Are you hurt, Naru?" Keitaro asked as his wife looked sick and holding her stomach.

" I'm fine." Naru said. " Everyone's here…where's Ian?!"

" Ian…" Kaeda weep.

" Get up, child!" Motoko told Kaeda holding her katana. " A demon is behind this, I swear!"

" Hi Gero," Mitsuni smiled and waved her hand. " What are you and Daisuke doing?"

" You heard their screams," Lucifer laughed. " What if I told you that was a glimpse of the future and you are going to hear everyone scream before they die?"

" You wouldn't!" Gero begged Lucifer not to do it but that was a dead end. " You're a god! What right do you have just taking life away?!"

" Whoever said I was a god? I'm not a god or the devil. I'm the devil's protégé. But if I was a god…I could do whatever I want because god's can chose who to curse before…it's fun."

" He's the one who brought us here!" Rina shouted. " Toru, get him!"

Rina's snow leopard jumped over the group and charges towards Lucifer, but he blows him away with one palm of dark energy " Bad kitty. Didn't your master ever tell you to keep away from strangers?" Lucifer's lows extended by a little. He scratched through his belly as blood slowly dripped out. " Maybe all you need is some realization."

Lucifer threw the injured snow leopard away. Lucifer uses his powers to summon two ghoulish giant lions to attack Taru. The lions chase Taru then turn into chains and trap him.

" You hurt my best friend!"

Birds appear with Rina and fly towards Lucifer, he is distracted by the birds surrounding him but when Rina tries to kick him he creates a giant piece of meat. Rina is trapped inside the meat.

It's everyone in the Hinata Inn against Lucifer. Yui ran with her frying pan in one hand and swinged it at Lucifer. Her frying pan turned into a snake Yui dropped. Foxy jabbed her fire fists at Lucifer like a boxer, but her fists turned to ice when Lucifer blinked. Motoko and Kaeda attacked at different time. Motoko attacked first with her katana in both hands, she rushed him. Lucifer roundhouse kick Motoko on her right side. Motoko fell from Lucifer's mighty strength. Kaeda attacked with a scissor slash for his neck. Lucifer transformed into the thing Motoko's family feared the most: a turtle the size of a man. Kaeda faltered when she saw him and he aimed for her collarbone with a vicious chop.

The rest of the family fought Lucifer and they were all beaten by Lucifer. Lucifer shook his head. " I expected more from the people who made the devil tremble in fear. Who are you to think you stood a chance against me? The only one that can stand against me is power, and none of you have it!" Lucifer is touched by something. He looks up and sees the slimy girl getting ready to fight him. It's a concept so ridiculous it causes Lucifer to laugh." You think you can stand up to me? Your nothing but a slave to the devil. Do you want to know something? Someone is going back to the burning lair of ground known as hell today. And it's you."

Lucifer transforms his arm into a sword and walks up to her, but when he gets close Gero steps in." Leave her alone."

" Do you think she's your girlfriend? She came from Hell. Everyone who comes from hell deserves to be there."

" She may have had an unjust life but she's helped me when no one else could. She may do bad things but they were for the right reasons. That's why I will not let you hurt her."

" My record says you like older women...she's not that much older than you." Lucifer couldn't smile. He looked into Gero's eyes and saw a brave man. His power wasn't even what was making him so brave. " Do you think I won't kill you? All I need is your power. As long as I stay in Daisuke's body you can't harm me—"

Suddenly the whole ground starts to glow blue. When Gero and Lucifer look there's a flare blocking their eyes but Lucifer makes himself look further and sees Ichiro glowing blue.

" It can't be…he's the ONE with the POWER?!"
