"Erina-" Tamura began but was stopped by Gero's voice.
"You should give her some space, man."Gero spoke.
Tamura appeared upset but knew that the amber eyed teen was correct.
Taichi appeared hesitant which Gero noticed and soon said, " Yo Taichi, you get up there and talk to her."
The pony tailed teen exclaimed in shock. "I-I can't talk to her! Erina is really mad at her brother at the moment and if I were to go up there now I think I'd lose a limb or 5?" He sputtered out.
Scoffing at the indecision Sankarea replied with a roll of her eyes. "You guys are pathetic!" She pointed at each of them. "Listen up you three excuses for men, what we have here is a girl who is very upset so it's logical she will yell if you talk to her. Yes definitely today, maybe tomorrow, maybe a week from now and possibly for the rest of your life if you leave her alone."
Sankarea continued her lecture to the boorish men. "You need to go up there and yell at her to listen to what you have to say."
Tamura appeared indignant before saying, "Erina is not going to listen to me. I'm the one who made her mad."
Flipping her hair Sankarea gave up on the situation. "Do whatever you want. As for me I'm going to wear a kimono and walk in the forest to go pee."
With that she walked upstairs to find said kimono to do her business. Now that's a woman with her priorities straight .
Gero and Taichi gave each other confused looks at what she said. "Why does she have to wear a kimono to go to the bathroom in the woods? More importantly why does she even have to go out side to go to the bathroom?"
Taichi didn't say anything as he got embarrassed and Tamura didn't speak either given he was more concerned for his sister than some moocher taking a wiz in the forest.
A moment later Gero felt a blow to the back of his head courtesy of the maid of Kou.
"The issue is not where Ms. Sankarea goes to the bathroom, stupid pervert."
"Hey, I want to know the reason she's taking a wiz!" Gero griped rubbing the sore sport. "Mostly it's guys doing that kind of BS not females!"
Akagi rolled her eyes before turning her attention to her master. "Master Taichi, let me talk to Erina. If anyone should talk to her it should be me because I am also woman."
Taichi looked thoughtful. "This does require a woman's touch, all right Akagi, I leave her in your capable hands."
Smiling Akagi went upstairs.
"Dude, are you really letting Akagi talk to your girlfriend alone?" Gero asked in a hushed tone.
"Of course, why, is that wrong?"
Gero gave a groan. "Everyone knows it's not right for any boy to let a girl go into an angry girls room!"
Taichi appeared conflicted by what his sensei was saying. "Why is that wrong?"
"Girls like to open up to each other and that could lead to them kissing and falling in love; you know girl on girl scenario!" Gero explained which made Taichi blush. "You really care about this girl so I wouldn't want her falling out of love for you because your maid wanted to comfort her. I'm willing to go with your maid and try to help talk to Erina with her."
"I don't really think that's necessary. I've known Akagi all my life and she's never stolen anything from me, much less a girl that I like." Taichi said not believing what he just heard.
"Trust me; it's for your own good!" Gero replied as he went upstairs.
Akagi was thinking about what to say until she saw the mutt appear. Glaring at the mongrel Akagi asked, "What are you doing up here?"
"I'm trying to help you and make sure you don't say something stupid or come off as too unemotional."
The pink haired pig tailed maid took offense to that. "Malarkey; you just want to see if I will kiss Erina or get into an argument with her which will lead to a 'cat fight'." She gave him a withering glare which Gero took a few steps back out of fear. "All men except master Taichi think that way!"
Gero thought of the innocent Taichi and conceded that Akagi had it right about that before saying, "Akagi, a poor girl is mad at her brother. Can't you see I'm only here to help?"
Thinking on how he has helped her in the past couple of days Akagi relented. "You can wait outside her room. Mention any word about what you heard to master Taichi and I will hang you upside down on the roof of the house!"
As the duo got closer they heard something off coming from Erina's room.
"Who are you people? What are you doing in my room?" Erian's voice rang out.
A man's voice was heard. "Our boss says he doesn't care what we do to you as long as we bring you back to him alive." He stated. "You have two options; either smell this bottle of chloroform or we can beat you!"
"Get out of my room!" Erina yelled.
"Beating you up it is." The scoundrel replied.
"Some scoundrels have broken into the Kou Family household? This will not end for them lightly." Akagi whispered about to open the door.
Gero soon had a thought and tried stopping Akagi. "Wait, they could be-"
Soon the door opened up and a man grabbed Akagai causing her to yell in surprise.
"Akagi!" Gero yelled as maid appeared afraid.
The first thug asked his partner, "Should we take this girl with us?"
The second guy shook his head as he appeared to have Erina. "No. The boss doesn't need her."
The first guy soon used the chloroform on Akagi who instantly went unconscious and they dropped her inside Erina's room! Gero tried going to one of them but ended up punching him in the gut hard! Groaning he went to his knees.
Seeing that the thugs were about to leave with Erina, who was also knocked out, Gero had to distract them.
"Where are you going?" He yelled at them as they gave him a glare.
"Hmph, this punk ass still up? You should have punched him harder!" Thug A said.
"Bitch please, that was my hardest punch!" Thug B defended.
"Why don't you put that bottle of chloroform down and fight like real men." Gero stated.
The thugs looked to one another and decided to humor him.
"That's it, put it down nice and slow..." Gero said about to tackle one of them until the last thing he heard was a loud bang.
Gero's last thoughts were 'They had guns? Oh come on, how unfair is that?'
"Do you think he's still alive?" The first thug mentioned putting away the gun.
The second thug scoffed in irritation. "Who knows and who cares. Let's just leave the radio like the boss said and take Tamura's sister to the boss."
Luckily enough as the thug duo left the premises, Taichi and Tamura were already in their rooms and they went by unmolested along with Sankarea who was...elsewhere.
What felt like an eternity Gero's body stirred after they left, he opened an eye tepidly. 'It's a good thing I keep my lucky skateboard under my shirt!' he thought.
(FYI the unseen hand that is writing this didn't even suspect the skateboard would be under his body...)
Seeing how it was already the morning The silver haired skater teen soon went to check on the unconscious maid. He carefully held her lithe body and called out to her.
"Come on, wake up, Akagi. I know something like this can't keep you knocked down for long!"
She didn't stir.
An idea popped in his head. "All right, I didn't want it to come to this, but I'll kiss you like Sleeping Beauty." He teased but that didn't stir her either.
Even though he teased her Gero was actually nervous of kissing her. Granted they did get close and by some strange coincidence or fate, they got along like an old married couple with the fighting.
Looking at her pretty face (not her decent sized bra for once) Gero brought Akagi's face closer and kissed her on the lips. It lasted a second before he stopped.
"That would normally disgust her." He whispered with amazement that true love's kiss didn't work and the fact he kissed her. The maid of Kou; who had no. The one that threatened to tear his bum a new hide.
Gero tried talking to her again. "Akagi, if you don't wake up soon I'm going to eat these instant noodles I got from Beer & Bowl."
BAM!
The next thing Gero knew he was laying on the ground with an angry Akagi as she lowered her fist after punching the uncouth swine!
"I think you broke another tooth!" Gero griped holding his mouth.
"Outside food is not allowed in the Kou family household!" She lectured before taking a gander where they were at.
The pigtailed maid spoke. "Are we in Erina's room? Where did she go?"
Getting up from the ground Gero answered. "Did that chloroform take away your memory? She was taken by two guys who made her smell chloroform which they put against your mouth and shot me!"
Akagi appeared frantic as she checked his flat and slightly muscular chest before looking befuddled. "Where is the wound Gero?" She asked. "I see a slight marking but no wound!"
"I was saved with the help of my skateboard." Gero proudly stated like he just won the NFL.
"That is the dumbest thing I have heard you say. Skateboards can't block speeding bullets!" Akagi exclaimed shocked that the laws of physics was broken by mere probability.
Gero still held that proud smile. "Mine did because mine is better than the average skateboard."
The maid could have sworn to Kami that what he said sounded very familiar to what a stupid bear wearing a hat and tie says in a park stealing picnic baskets.
Internally she was happy that Gero was fine but other matters needed to be attended to. "I'm going to tell master Taichi that Erina is missing. Has any ransom been sent?"
The teen shook his head. "No. but all they left was a radio." He grabbed the gift the thugs left and messed with it for a moment. "Judging from the music I say it's on channel 111."
Akagi raised an eyebrow. "Is that anything relevant?"
Gero nodded. "You bet I love that channel. The radio hosts and Hortense and Coyote are so funny!"
It took every fiber of Akagi's being not to slap him upside the head but she found the inner strength not to.
"You stay here and tell me if anything happens on the radio. They didn't leave it here by accident and I want to know why." She soon I will go tell Taichi that Erina is gone.
