I'll use this time to say I had a bad day today, cried a little, spoiled my dog too much, and am having thoughts about my life. I don't have any shortcuts in life so it's a lot to think about.
###
Word had gotten around the household that Erina had been kidnapped which put the residents on high alert.
As Akagi went to go console Taichi in the kitchen over what happened, Gero made his way back downstairs to see Tamura and Sankarea. He asked them upon seeing them how they didn't hear what occurred.
"I was emotionally drained so I took a sleeping pill..." Tamura stated with regret. Knowing that he was worried Gero placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Aren't you going to ask me what I've been up too?" Sankarea asked with a huff. She didn't like being ignored.
Rolling his eyes Gero could already guess. "You found a yukata and took a wiz outside, right?"
She gave a giggle at the answer. "That's not all! I also scoped out the neighborhood; this area is amazingly uppity!"
The duo gave a blank look to the ditzy girl and didn't elaborate any further due to they didn't want their brains turning to mush at the concept of the buxom girl's misadventure that kept her out half the night.
Gero soon fiddled with the radio in his hands and heard a song he liked listening too. "Cool sauce, I love this song." He said listening to the guitar rifts.
The song ended after 44 seconds since it was at the end and soon the hosts of the radio program started up. Hearing the radio Akagi and Taichi returned to the living room and gathered with Gero and the others to hear the broadcast.
Hortense began speaking like any morning radio personality to get the listeners pumped up! "All right y'all glad you liked that song! That was Lack of Common Sense by Gordon Kord; a man born in France who had to move to Japan from his father's work and later grew up to be a famous musician." Hortense said, his voice sounding upbeat and energetic.
Next was his co-host, Coyote, who had a Texan "twang" about him but was joyful and funny during the broadcast.
"That's right, Hortense! That guy is a wonder too behold. But we have some distressing news our radio station has been completely taken over by gangsters!"
The trio looked at one another at hearing the news. Gero turned up the radio to hear more clearly.
"They call themselves the Skull Head Big Boy's." Coyote continued.
Once hearing the name of the group involved Tamura growled and tightened his hand to a fist. "God fucking dammit!" Tamura seethed.
"Their message is...we have your sister Erina, brother Tamura; If you ever want to see her again come to the building under construction. You know the one he says. And in sports news-"
PAC! Crash!
Tamura slapped the radio from Gero's hand destroying it.
"Hey! I was listening to that!" Gero exclaimed out right but Tamura didn't pay him any attention. The maid however rolled her eyes at Gero for making a tacky comment about a damn radio program that got ransacked by gangsters.
The black haired teen punched his hand and yelled. "That bastard has my sister at the old construction site. I'm going to beat him to a pulp for taking her!"
Taichi shook his head and tried calming him down. "Calm down, Tamura. That's what Keataru wants you to do which could be a mistake if they gang up on you. We should call the police and see if they will help us."
Purple eyes glancing to the rich boy, Tamura gave a concise answer to that plan. "That won't work, Keataru will do something drastic."
The buxom ditz decided to ask something. "What on earth could he do to Erina?"
A glance to the blue eyed teen. "What he can do is push her off!"
The room went silent for some moments.
"Dude come on; you do realize this is the oldest scene in the book?" Gero began!
Eyes going wide with shock Akagi had to say something about that. "You actually read?"
Gero gave her a dirty look before going back what he was going to say.
"Before a heartless maid said something, doesn't this remind you of some kind of old movie? The bad guys tell you they have someone you love so you will have to save them. During the brief period they set a trap but the hero either talks his way out or gets friends to help him!"
Tamura turned to Sankarea who in turn glanced at Taichi who stole a look with Akagi who knew it was on her to set things right. She spoke. "Is there anything you are getting at, Gero or do you like hearing the sound of your own voice making long dialogue?" She snidely stated.
Gero grew offended. "Of course I have a point! While that happens someone calls the police who in turn will send snipers to take out these knuckleheads!"
A moment later a hand went upside Gero's head courtesy of Akagi.
Tamura shook his head. "The police won't be of much help because some the gang members are sons or daughters to some who work at the department. Their emotions will get involved which Keataru will take advantage of and escape with Erina."
"Shit, that did not occur to me!" Gero swore.
Taichi soon had a thought. "Well since we can't rely on the local authorizes, it'll be up to us." He turned his sights to Akagi. "Take Akagi with you, she will be of great assistance for this endeavor..."
Tamura didn't doubt that along with Sankarea or Gero. There was a reason why she was "Wonder Maid" after all.
Akagi acknowledged her master's command and spoke to Tamura. "I promise on my life I will save your sister and bring her home."
Looking grim Tamura declined her offer with a wave of his hand as if she were a prostitute at a whore house. "I need to do this myself. It's only me Keataru wants and he will let Erina go."
Sankarea didn't believe that would be the case along with the others.
"Tamura your not listening...this is what made Erina mad in the first place, by trying to do it on your own," The pony tailed heir said.
The purple eyed teen avoided their gazes and spoke. "This is my problem...I'll handle this on my own!" He soon sprinted out of the house!
Akagi gave Taichi a glance. "Do you still want me to follow Tamura, master?"
He gave a nod before the skater boy said, "I can help Akagi if it will make you feel safe-"
"No." Taichi spoke clearly shocking Gero! It felt like he got an interception!
"You're not thinking of helping Tamura after he said he didn't want your help?" Gero asked perplexed.
Taichi gave another nod and spoke. "Even if those are his wishes, I won't stand idly by. I'm going because Erina is my girl. I-I want to be a man to her...now is my chance."
Gero gave a smirk at that; Taichi's hormones have been activated.
"We're still going to help, yes?" Akagi asked.
"At long last I hear you give a clear cut answer! Let's go!" Gero said.
As they were about to leave Sankarea, who had left to catch Tamura, returned; the teen had a knot on his head.
"My he doesn't run so fast..." Sankarea pouted as she dropped him on the floor.
Taichi and Gero had to wonder how that white haired teen did that wearing heels and holding all that chest! Akagi on the other hand liked that efficiency she showed.
Soon Tamura would agree for them to come with him and save his sister.
