First. I wanted to let you guys know that I do read reviews. A few readers have mentioned this, and I wanted to let you guys know that I do read them. I also take all criticism and suggestions to heart. Every single suggestion I have gotten, I have tried to incorporate. If you haven't seen it come up, it's because I couldn't put it in the story within my plan for it. I'm truly sorry about that.

So now, hey guys! Woo! Finally! Finished this chapter! It's a little shorter but I have to change POVs to continue so I needed to end the chapter. I have also been extremely busy the past week. I am thrilled that I got it done within a week but I wish I got it done sooner. Hopefully I get this next chapter up faster. Anyways, as always, Read and Review!

Clare's POV

"Okay, Adam. Your turn. Make sure the questions are good because once you say them, they aren't getting changed." I warned.

Adam and I were hanging out. Eli was off doing errands for Asher, while Adam and I were finishing playing twenty questions. I was able to finish asking him the rest of my questions from yesterday, and now it was his turn.

"You always come up with the good questions." Adam mumbled while thinking.

"It's not my fault you can't think." I teased.

The door flew open then, and for a split second I thought it was Eli. Unfortunately, it was K.C.. His eyes searched and found mine, before I even was able to realize who he was.

"Clare. Come with me." K.C. stated.

I glanced at Adam, before looking back at K.C.. I didn't really know what to do, and Adam's expression proved I didn't really have a choice. He knew that he couldn't fight back as much as Eli. They wouldn't mind killing him off if needed.

"O—Okay." I stuttered, before I stood up and walked to the door following K.C. out. He closed and locked the door before turning to me.

"I just want to talk." He stated, before continuing.

"K.C. I need time." I began.

"I gave you over a week, Clare. How much longer could you possibly need?" He asked, exasperated.

"K.C.! You killed my best friend! It takes more than a week to even comprehend the fact that I will never see her again! Not to mention that I was sick throughout this whole week!" I argued. Regardless of the fact that I would never even consider forgiving anything he's done, I needed to have him believe I was trying to.

"Don't you fucking dare raise your voice at me!" K.C. barked, stepping towards me. I stepped back, out of instinct, keeping distance between us.

"I just need more time to think." I begged, in a softer tone.

"To think about what?" He asked.

"To get over everything that has happened!" I stated.

"No! No more time!" He growled backing me up against the wall. He put his hand around my throat and lifted me so I could barely touch the ground. I gripped my hands onto his to try to pull it away. It was no use, however, because he was too strong for me. "I have given you too much time. I'm done waiting."

"K.C.. Please." I gasped.

"No, Clare. I'm done with all of this. I can't do this anymore. You will forgive me. Alli was a slut and a bitch. She wasn't even sitting with you in the room. She wasn't a good friend." He growled.

He had a point, I'll admit. Alli wasn't a great friend. She wasn't the best friend that she used to be. But she didn't deserve to die because of it.

"You didn't need to kill her." I stated, glaring at him.

"She disobeyed Clare. No one is aloud to disobey." He growled.

"I can't even think of forgiving you, if you don't even believe you did anything wrong." I argued.

"You will forgive me, Clare." He growled, lifting me higher off the ground. Now I was hovering above the floor, but wasn't touching it anymore. I clawed at his hand to release me but he didn't seem phased.

"I can't breathe." I gasped out. Trying to get him to let go.

"If you can talk you can breathe!" He growled, slamming me back into the wall. It was so hard, that I felt like I was going to pass out.

"I forgive you!" I cried.

"You just want me to let go." He slammed me again.

"Please! K.C.! I do! I forgive you!" I cried out again.

"Clare!" I heard Eli call, but my vision was getting fuzzy. "K.C.! Let her go!"

"Fuck off!" K.C. growled.

"What will Asher think?" Eli asked.

"He won't find out!" He snapped.

"She'll have bruises, asshole!" Eli growled.

"Fuck." K.C. dropped me immediately afterwards. The drop made me woozy and I felt myself slipping away. "Don't fucking say anything to Asher." I felt Eli cradle my head into his lap.

"I have to. Her head is bleeding badly. If you want her to stay alive, then I'll need to talk to Asher." Eli demanded.

"Fine." K.C. grumbled. "Let's go."

I felt Eli shift me into his arms and stood up, before heading down the hallway. This was the last thing I remembered before I fell into unconsciousness.
