Hey guys. I had some time today, so I figured I would get it done. This chapter was really awkward to write, and I tried my best to make it make sense and also have it good. I really would love your comments on this chapter because if you guys don't like it, I'll edit it and try to make it better. So let me know what you guys think. I would really appreciate it. As always, Read and Review!

Eli's POV

"Clare?" I called. "Clare, wake up. Stay with me." I rushed past the guards that were stationed on the way to Asher's office. I ignored them, and left that concern to K.C.. My only concern was getting Clare to Asher. Which is the last thing I ever thought I would have to do. As I made it in sight of Asher's office, I saw Fitz and Dallas as the ones standing guard. "Let me through." I barked.

Fitz obeyed immediately, still afraid to challenge anyone. He opened the door, and ran in putting Clare in one of the chairs facing Asher.

"What the fuck happened?" Asher growled slamming his hands against the desk and stood up.

"K.C.." I retorted.

"Detained him!" Asher ordered to Dallas and Fitz. They grabbed him and dragged him out of the room. "I'll deal with him later."

"Yes, Sir." Fitz replied, before leaving the room with Dallas and K.C.. Asher pinched the bridge of his nose before walking over to Clare. He circled her, while I watched. When he stopped in front of her, he just stared; thinking.

"Damn. Solutions?" Asher asked, looking at me.

"She won't survive without a doctor. Clinic won't be enough. She needs a hospital." I stated.

"Damn it, K.C.. I knew his fucking temper was going to be a problem." Asher groaned.

"We could drop her off at a hospital. Let her get better. Then kidnap her again." I suggested. I told him what I know he wanted to hear.

"She would tell. The moment she's conscious. She'd tell." Asher scratched his head, and began pacing.

"Send K.C. to watch over her." I continued. "He is already integrated into her life and he hasn't been taken into the system completely, right? He still lives at home?"

"That's the easiest, but I don't trust him to keep her safe."Asher spoke. "You should go."

"Wh—What?" I stuttered.

"If you go, I will be assured that you will keep her in line. You'll be the conscious one, you can say that she's crazy when she wakes up. Her head injury is making her remember it wrong. Then when she's better, I'll contact you and we'll bring you back in." He smiled, as he worked it out.

"They will question. What do I say? They aren't going to believe me, when we are both saying different things." I argued. I was still in shock at what he was implying. Clare would have an out. One where I would live, and we would be able to be together.

"Then take someone with you. Someone you could control. Who in that room can you control? Completely?" He asked, pondering.

"Adam." I stated without thinking. "He follows me like a puppy dog."

"Good. In two weeks I will contact you. If you don't make sure that everything goes the way I want, I will kill you all." He warned, walking over to the phone on his desk.

"Understood, Sir." I replied. He pushed a button on the phone, and Fitz's voice came through.

"Sir?" Fitz spoke through the speaker.

"Set up the van and leave it in the loading dock. Leave it running. Then get Adam and bring him there."Asher ordered into the phone.

"Yes, Sir." Fitz said, before Asher ended the call.

"Head over there. The van should be ready and waiting when you get there. This is your one shot to getting out of that room into a guard's position." Asher continued, looking up at me.

"I know. I won't screw it up." I replied. I knew I wasn't going to screw this up. If I did then Clare and Adam would be dead because of me. However, I won't let them back in here either. I will figure that out once Clare is in the hospital though.

Picking Clare up carefully, I left the room without looking back. Two guards had taken up the positions for Fitz and Dallas, but I barely gave them a glance. I headed towards the van, trying to not jostle Clare a lot. Her head was still bleeding but it seemed to have lessened some.

When I arrived at the van, Adam was standing there waiting. I noticed that Fitz wasn't there, but I focused on getting Clare into the van.

"What's going on?" Adam asked, looking at Clare.

"We're getting her to the hospital. Open the van." I ordered.

Adam opened the sliding door, and helped me lay her in the back. Adam climbed in after her, and found something to press against her head. I slammed the door to the van, and jogged around to the driver's side. I climbed in and peeled away from the building.

"This is seriously happening? We are leaving? They are allowing it?" Adam asked confused.

"Yeah. We are free." I stated, speeding down the road towards the hospital.

"I just hope Clare lives long enough to see it." Adam sighed.

"I know. Me too." I sighed. "I just hope we all live long enough to see it."
