A/N: HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY! Are you wearing your green? I am! I am back with another installment this story. Enjoy!
#55… Knock fruit out of tree – throw it up and watch it and the fruit come down.
#65… Kill bugs/spiders (Ranka says that Tamaki-senpai is included in this) – enough said.
On one weekend during Tamaki's last year in high school, the Host Club decided to hang out at someone's house instead of going to a fair or whatnot. Haruhi had complained that she didn't want to go out again and she was tired of "always doing what you damn rich bastards want to do". Tamaki's mind turned and he decided that if she didn't want to go out, they would all stay in… at the same house… together… and once again, the Host Club found itself on a Host Club outing, but this time at someone's house. Oh Haruhi had argued that this wasn't what she meant, but Tamaki just patted her head and told her that he understood and he was doing it for her (dear reader, Haruhi had learned when to keep arguing and when to shut up, this was a time to just stop and go with the blonde's latest and greatest idea).
This on this particular Saturday, the teens were converging upon the Morinozuka household. It seems that when drawing straws earlier in the week, Satoshi drew the short one. Of course, the drawing was held on a day Mori and Hunny could not make it to club… although according to Haruhi was actually fairer since they didn't have two chances for their house to be picked, just one chance, which meant Satoshi was just unlucky considering both twins had drawn straws.
The Friday before, Tamaki had told Haruhi that he would be picking her up and she informed him not to bother that she would already be at the Morinozuka estate. Not listening, of course Tamaki arrived promptly at 11:00 to escort his daughter to their Host Club assembly. After being chased by Ranka swinging a shinai at him, which the father said was used to kill all bugs that entered his abode, Tamaki ran (read fell) down the stairs and swiftly entered his limo, locking the doors and telling his driver to get out of there fast (yes dear reader, he was learning). The twins and Kyoya were already in the limo and stared at him before laughing; well the twins did, Kyoya's dark aura receded a little in his amusement (Tamaki got Kyoya up first and early… in fact, showed up at the Shadow King's house at 8:00 that morning… it didn't go well and Kyoya will need a new lamp).
"What boss…?" Hikaru snickered
"Wasn't Haruhi there?" Kaoru guffawed.
Together they laughed, "Like a good daughter should be?"
"Shut up you two! She wasn't…" Tamaki answered and whipped his head around to look at his best friend, "What if she's been kidnapped!"
Rolling his eyes, Kyoya pushed his glasses up in an effort to keep at least the hand closest to Tamaki (who had wisely decided to sit next to the vice president… don't you love sarcasm) busy so that he didn't beat his best friend (bet he wished he had a shinai right now), "She informed you yesterday that she would already be at the Morinozuka household and that we should not bother coming to her apartment. You disregarded her words yet again and were hit at least once by Ranka. Next time… listen to her." He had gotten a small bit of satisfaction when Tamaki flew out of the apartment and was slightly grazed by the shinai Ranka was wielding; too bad it wasn't a direct hit.
"But mommy!"
"No, buts daddy. She told you that she would already be here, thus this morning was a wasted trip. Let's just go to Mori-senpai and Satoshi's house and get today over with," Kyoya growled.
Hikaru and Kaoru wrapped their arms around each other and whined, "Mommy and daddy are fighting again. Please don't get divorced! We don't want to be separated."
Aura growing once again, Kyoya glared at the twins and watched as their joking persona dropped and they looked truly terrified, "Do you want to walk the rest of the way?"
Gulping, both twins shook their heads and stammered, "N-n-no." (As you can imagine dear reader, after this the ride was very quiet and peaceful… well ok, just quiet. The demon aura is scary.)
The car finally came to a stop and two redheads flew out of the back and kept at least a 15 foot radius away from Kyoya once free from the confines of the limo… at least until they were forced into the house. Tamaki got out next and although not as terrified as the twins, not that he would show it if he was because this was his best friend, he took a few steps away from the car and allowed is best friend some space. Last to get out was Kyoya and he did nothing but glare at the three idiots that had been in car with him; however, mainly it was Tamaki for getting him up early.
As soon as they approached the front door, one of the servants opened the door and led the four teens into the game room where three other teens were waiting on them: Haruhi, Mori, and Hunny. Upon seeing the brunette, Tamaki perked up and ran over to her, but before he could grab her, she moved out of his way, grabbed one of his outstretched arms and swept his legs out from under him. One minute he was trying to glomp his "daughter" and the next he was staring up at the ceiling (which had not a speck of dust on them). Sitting up, he whined, "Haruhi, daddy was just trying to greet you. I was so worried about you this morning. I went by your house…" He didn't get to finish his statement.
Narrowing her eyes, a bolt of lightning flashed in her eyes and a dark aura started to emerge, "You went to my house after I told you not to? You woke up my father when I told you I would not be there? My father who just got off of a double shift at the bar and did not get home until about six this morning?"
Tamaki knew he was in trouble in needed to soothe things over, but he didn't know how. Looking to Mori to help him, the blond silently pleaded to the wild host for help. Turning back to Haruhi, he said, "I just thought…"
"No, you didn't think!" Haruhi snapped. She would have said more, but she felt a hand on her shoulder and she glanced up into the grey eyes of her fiancé. Taking in a deep breath, she let it out slowly and gave Mori a small smile before addressing Tamaki again, "Baka! Next time listen to what I tell you. I was here early this morning for my kendo lesson."
Scampering back to his feet, Tamaki grabbed her, catching her off guard and declared, "I will! Next time I will do whatever you say, just don't be mad at daddy!" He was pulled away from her a moment later by an irritated Mori.
The twins had noticed that two people were missing from the room and Hikaru asked, "Where are Satoshi and Yasuchika?"
"Picking apples," Hunny grinned, flowers floating around his head.
"Really?" Kaoru questioned.
"Yah, you wanna see?" The Loli Shota offered. When he received nods from the twins, he led everyone from the room (because the others decided to come too dear reader) and out the back, past the gardens, to a small grouping of about 3 apple trees the estate had. Sure enough, there were the two teens picking apples, but it almost looked like a comedy routine. Chika had climbed the tree and had a bag where he would pick an apple and place it carefully in the sack; however, Satoshi was a little more unorthodox in his picking. He would throw up his shinai and catch as many apples as he could and pick up the others off the ground, inspecting them all for bruises and such.
Pushing up his glasses, Kyoya commented, "So I guess it really does work for picking fruit?" He remember this was on the list, but he really didn't believe it could be done… he had just been proven wrong.
"I want try!" Tamaki shouted.
"Us too!" The twins declared.
Satoshi shrugged and turned over his shinai to the three eager teens and watched as the attempted to throw the shinai in the tree (dear reader, I say attempted because… well, just keep reading). Time and time again they failed. At one point, they got it high enough to hit a branch and got it stuck. Chika at this point thought it was safer to climb a little higher since he might be safer than those on the ground, and he had also noticed the teens on the ground gave the trio a very wide berth (they were at least 25 feet away from the trees figuring Chika could handle himself). Satoshi tried to give them advice, but they still couldn't seem to get the shinai in the tree causing the young Morinozuka to mutter, "Tamaki-senpai has great leg strength, but no arm strength… and Hikaru-senpai and Kaoru-senpai are probably better suited for fashion right now. We could change that, but I don't think I could train them."
Everyone around him nodded their heads in agreement as they started to laugh at the spectacle in front of them. At one point, Tamaki decided to get a running start before throwing the shinai, but he only succeeded in hitting Hikaru in the head. This was when it was decided that the fruit picking excursion was done for the day (it was feared that if they allowed Tamaki and the twins to continue, someone might wind up dead, dear reader). For the remainder of the day, the Host Club safely ensconced themselves in the game room and did not let Tamaki, Hikaru, or Kaoru near a shinai. Close quarters did not bode well when giving those three a weapon.
The group hung out, ate lunch… and apples, and generally had a good time with others. When they day came to a close, Tamaki offered a ride to Haruhi which she promptly declined stating, "Sorry senpai, since my dad is working another double because someone is out sick, so I am spending the night here tonight because there is a chance for storms."
Tamaki gasped and then froze, turning once again into a robot. Shaking their heads, Chika and Satoshi grabbed him and threw him into the limo without another word. Kyoya and the twins bid adieu to their friends and climbed into the limo to find Tamaki still in a frozen state, and the Shadow King muttered, "I wonder how long it will last this time. Hopefully long enough for me to sleep in tomorrow."
