Honestly, if someone had not requested for all of the items on the list to make it into a story, it would have ended after Kyoya ran around in his underwear. AnimeBestie, your request will be next. #90… Can be used in a food fight to bat the food towards other people – it will keep most of the food away from you and allows you to participate while practicing your swings.

If you have never participated in a food fight at some point in your life… you need to try it. They are fun and can be quite hilarious. We have all seen what happened when the twins started to fight with each other, or what we thought was fighting. The cafeteria got involved and soon a food fight was started and even Hunny was thrown into the fray when he tried to rescue Usa-Chan. Alas that was a year before Satoshi and Chika got involved with the Host Club and almost immediately after the publication of this dreaded list of things to do with a shinai after they arrived in the high school, a few things happened: Kendo Club had an increase in members for a brief period of time (but many left because Satoshi can be a bit crazy when holding a weapon, or so I'm told dear reader), Tamaki was tortured by the twins (more so than before dear reader), people not in kendo carried around a shinai (this phase also only lasted a brief period of time), and of course another food fight broke out in the cafeteria. And once again it all started with a member or members of the Host Club.

Chika and Satoshi entered the cafeteria in order to get something to eat, and a rarity happened, Haruhi accompanied them. Choosing to not eat in the cafeteria as the norm, the female host actually strolled into the banquet room with her boyfriend's brother and cousin. Now this should have been something that everyone took in stride after a brief pause of shock, but that isn't what happened.

Hikaru noticed Haruhi first and lightly hit his brother to get his attention. When he had it, he nudged his chin in the direction of their toy, and when Kaoru saw what his brother was pointing out, they looked at each other and got that gleam in their eyes (you know the one dear readers… does everyone have chills now? I do). With a nod at each other, they commenced their newly formed plan.

"Hey boss, I didn't know Haruhi would be joining us today," Hikaru exclaimed as Tamaki approached with a tray of food.

Whipping around to catch sight of his precious daughter, Tamaki accidentally turned too fast and his soup sloshed over the side of the bowl and unfortunately landed on Kaoru (thankfully not Kyoya because I think his reaction would make Hunny taking out the Green Berets look like child's play).

What nobody saw was the small push Hikaru gave the blond as he spun around creating an accelerated centrifugal force which forced the soup to react and spill over (Hunny will be by with a physics lesson later for anyone that wants to join us… and there will be plenty of cuteness and cake. Stoke the MOE flames).

Kaoru knew what was coming and reacted accordingly. Standing to his feet, he yelled, "You did that on purpose!" He picked up his dessert (chocolate cake with a raspberry filling) and threw it at Tamaki.

The princely type tried to duck, but still got a little on him. However, there was someone behind him that got the brunt of the cake. That student yelled and took a handful of creamed spinach and threw it towards the Host Club because that was the direction the cake had come from. The twins reacted by throwing their food… in two different directions (dear reader they were trying to get more students involved). More involved indeed.

Screams from girls filled the room as food started to flying from all directions. Everyone was trying to retaliate for being hit with food or for food almost hitting them and within minutes it was an all-out food fight. Even some of the girls started to get into the war.

The moment the first scream rent the air, Satoshi spun around and saw everything transpire and immediately pulled out his shinai. His brother had given him the duty of protecting Haruhi and the young Morinozuka felt that included keeping her uniform food free. As food came near, he would bat it away. Some of the spray would land on him, but it would fling the majority of it out towards the general population… which would in turn create more havoc. He even hit a few rolls like baseballs. His shinai would need a good cleaning after this and it might even be ruined, but at least Haruhi's yellow dress would still be clean. At least until someone threw potatoes. The enemy of using a shinai during a food fight. And it would have been alright if Haruhi had not stepped forward to grab Satoshi to pull him and Chika out of the room. Chika was holding his own as well by picking up and throwing what was thrown at him, doing his best to protect his future cousin.

Potatoes. Mashed potatoes. A huge glob came hurtling towards Satoshi, Chika, and Haruhi. The moment the younger Morinozuka felt Haruhi's hand on his shoulder he swung, but some of them went over his shinai and landed behind him. Turning slowly, he glanced at the brunette and found white goo in her hair and covering one of her eyes. Using his hand to wipe them away, he apologized, "I'm so sorry Haruhi."

Shaking her head, she sighed, "Let's just get out of here."

"Let's go!" Chika had picked up two trays and handed one to Satoshi. They were going to use them as shields.

As the trio ran out of the cafeteria, Tamaki called out, "Daughter stop. Help daddy!"

Satoshi handed his shinai to Kyoya as they ran past him. The Shadow King had stayed behind to talk to a sensei and had been running late for lunch, and somehow the younger man knew the food fight would soon be ending now that the dreaded and greatly feared Shadow King had arrived.

And it did.

Fighting his way into the cafeteria (he wanted to use the shinai to test the list himself dear reader), he let his deadly dark aura run free and it soon encompassed the entire room. Now that they could not see and they were terrified for their lives, everyone dropped their ammunition. Satisfied with the results, Kyoya announced, "Food fight is over." He went to the counter and grabbed the lunch he had already called in and left the room. Although he wanted to order the students, and more importantly Tamaki and the twins, to clean the room, that was not his job or within his power. He would allow the staff to handle everything from this point on… at least in regards to this.

That being said, when the Host Club arrived to prepare for their opening that day, Kyoya decided to string up the three trouble makers from the ceiling and allowed the customers to hit them with water guns (there was a tarp below and behind them so that nothing else would get wet dear reader, and of course he charged the customers). It was one of the most profitable days year to date.
