I don't own ROTG or Frozen! Sorry for the really late update. I've been working with my original works more than my fanfictions because it's the one I actually plan to publish after I graduate. So do swing by and leave a comment or a vote! Thanks!

Chapter 15

Anna couldn't believe that all her memories had gotten edited. No wonder Elsa had been pulling away from her! She was made to believe that her sister didn't have powers! But why? Sure she was blasted in the head but that was by accident. Surely Elsa didn't mean to hurt her! Anna glanced at her hands and sighed.

"Why? Why would my parents allow that," Anna whispered softly.

"They did it to protect you."

Anna looked at Jack who smiled kindly.

"Wait, what do you mean," Anna stared in shock and surprise.

Jack continued to walk alongside her. "They only had your best interests at heart. And now, we're going back to the people who helped you before."

Kristoff raised an eyebrow. "She's met them before?"

"In an unconscious state," Jack drawled in amusement while hanging his arms on his staff. "How do you think her memories got edited in the first place?"

Kristoff blinked several times in disbelief before shaking it off, continuing their travel. He glanced at the white haired guardian as Jack floated alongside them, looping around as he flew. Kristoff snorted in annoyance as Sven followed him.

"Show off," he muttered while looking away. "If he could fly, why couldn't he just fly us there?"

Jack happened to overhear the blonde male. "Because I'm not exactly sure where it is," he admitted mildly. "If you could tell me then, that would be great."

Kristoff gawked; how the hell did he hear from his distance? "A-ah yeah, it's down the mountain and make a left into the forest. Follow the pathway all the way down to a circle of rocks."

Jack shrugged. "Alright then."

The trip was pretty uneventful as Jack remained silent. He didn't know what to say to Anna after all those years. However, he had been more preoccupied with Elsa. How did her powers get that strong and who was helping her? Her powers matched his but he could feel a malevolent feel to it. Something more sinister and cold...

"What happened to her," Jack murmured softly to himself before looking at the moon. "Elsa..."

"You're thinking about my sister?"

Jack snapped his head towards Anna before nodding sadly. "Y-yeah..."

"I always knew you guys had some sort of special connection," Anna beamed brightly while slinging her arm on Jack. "Does your heart pound? Does your mind go blank? Do you think about her every waking moment?"

Jack chuckled sheepishly. "I wouldn't say every waking moment. But despite the cold," - Jack placed his hand on his chest, "She was always so... Warm..."

Anna giggled and exclaimed. "YOU LOVE MY SISTER!"

Jack gawked and shook his head. "N-no, I mean... Yes but no but... Argh!"

Anna giggled with delight. "Face it, you love my sister."

Jack didn't know how to respond. Despite Anna's naïvety and recklessness, he found her intuitive very astonishing. He couldn't understand how Anna knew about love when she had been sealed in the castle all her life. Jack sighed deeply before smiling with nostalgia when he remembered her dancing and feeling free with her powers.

She was so beautiful.

The guardian of fun exhaled sharply while continuing to walk. Kristoff managed to catch up with them as the two males began to walk quietly. Anna stayed behind with Sven and Olaf while they continued walking.

"Quite crazy isn't she," Jack chuckled, hoping yo ease the tension.

Kristoff blinked several times. "Huh?"

"Anna. She's really crazy isn't she?"

Kristoff laughed and shook his head in exasperation. "God, the first time I met that woman - she threw hiking gear at me along with Sven's carrots and demanded I take her up the mountain that instant."

Jack snickered. "Yeah, typical Anna alright. That sounds like something she would do."

Kristoff snickered and shook his head, trudging along. He glanced at Anna for a moment and then at Jack Frost. After seeing the whole attack happen, he couldn't help but wonder what Jack's history was with the two sisters. He glanced at Jack and saw him checking on Anna a couple of times.

"So," Kristoff began again. "What's your history with them?"

Jack asked. "With who?"

"You know, Anna and her sister. Why do you know these two so well?"

Upon hearing that, Jack smiled weakly when he recalled the times he had been helping Elsa love her powers. She had begun smiling and giggling with it and she even made animals. It was a special bond, as Anna had put it, that they shared. He remembered the fear in her eyes when she had accidentally revealed her powers.

"I met them when they were kids. I played with Elsa a few times and became her mentor for her powers under her father's orders," Jack began. "TLDR version is that when Elsa and I had a bit of a falling out, she attacked me..."

"She attacked you," Kristoff stared in disbelief.

"By accident," Jack quickly added. "After that, she tried to protect me by forgetting about me. By doing that, she can no longer see me. But there are some people who really could see me even without believing."

Kristoff pieced it together. "People like Elsa and I...?"

"Yeap," Jack nodded before seeing the ring of rocks. "Is this it...?"

"Yep," Kristoff proudly said and showed everyone the ring of rocks. "Guys, meet my family - the Love Experts!"

Anna, Jack and Olaf stared at him stupidly for a moment. Jack saw the rocks and blinked several times. He looked at the area to see moss and the usual shrubs.

"I knew he was crazy," Olaf whispered to Anna and Jack. "Run while I distract him..."

Jack shook his head. "He didn't eat any mushrooms on his way here right?"

Anna giggled sheepishly. "I-I don't think so."

"KRISTOFF'S HOME!"

They all suddenly snapped their heads up when they saw the rocks suddenly come to life. They began cheering and jumping around, surrounding Kristoff. Some of the rocks jumped into his arms and began hugging him and pulling him down. He would have fallen down if not for his bigger structure.

"Hi mom," Kristoff chuckled at a lady troll.

One of the grumpier trolls grumbled. "Took him long enough, Bulda."

Bulda, his mother, rolled her eyes. "Oh stop - Kristoff just needed to pick up some things is all!"

"Kristoff, you're back," one of the smaller rocks jumped into his arms.

"Whoa," Kristoff laughed as he caught it. "Wow, you're getting heavier!"

"I got my fire crystal," one of the kid trolls proclaimed proudly.

"I passed a kidney stone."

Anna stared at what was Kristoff's family. She stared in amazement and continued to watch Kristoff interact with them. She giggled softly to herself and shook her head. Olaf on the other hand found himself surprised by the talking rocks while Jack stared at them quizzically.

"I've heard about talking eggs but this is serious," Jack laughed. "It looks like somebody got stoned."

Anna playfully pushed his shoulder. "You mean you've never seen a troll before?"

"I usually thought that trolls were big, ugly and stupid," Jack admitted mildly. "You know, they swing clubs and walk into the girl's bathroom?"

Anna laughed. "Oh Jack, it doesn't happen that way! But trolls... Wow, they're trolls!"

Upon hearing her voice, the trolls suddenly turned around and stared at her in surprise. They blinked several times before a woman troll suddenly exclaimed.

"HE'S BROUGHT A GIRL!"

The trolls cheered and suddenly carried Anna all the way to Kristoff all the way to the lady troll. She grinned as she began inspecting every inch of Anna.

"Ooh, bright eyes, nice complexion," she held her face before stretching her mouth to see her teeth. "Wow and strong teeth!"

Anna giggled before Kristoff began warding them off. After all the adventures she's had for a day, she never realized how things changed. Kristoff had gone with her despite her kookiness and Jack had been there to support her. But it doesn't explain why her parents messed up her memories.

"Guys, that's not the problem right now. We need to see Grandpabbie."

"I'd say," the lady troll grinned and looked at Anna. "Why are you holding back from such a man? Is it the clumpy way he walks...?"

Kristoff gawked. "What?"

Another piped up. "Or the grumpy way he talks?"

"No," Kristoff twitched. "Guys, really?"

Or the pear-shaped, square-shaped weirdness of his feet?

"Hey," Kristoff shook one off the trolls holding his feet.

And though we know he washes well-he always ends up sort of smelly!

But you'll never meet a fellow who's as sensitive and sweet!

Much to Anna, Jack and Olaf's surprise, the trolls all suddenly began singing.

So he's a bit of a fixer-upper, so he's got a few flaws

Like his peculiar brain-dear, his thing with the reindeer

That's a little outside of nature's laws! (Kristoff: No it's not!)

So he's a bit of a fixer-upper, but this we're certain of

You can fix this fixer-upper up with a little bit of love!

Kristoff groaned. "Can we please just stop talking about this? We've got a real, actual problem here!"

Bulda giggled. "I'll say! So tell me, dear —."

Is it the way that he runs scared, or that he's socially impaired

Or that he only likes to tinkle in the woods —

Kristoff gawked and blushed in embarassment. "WHAT?!"

Anna giggled. "I did not need to know that."

Are you holding back your fondness due to his unmanly blondness

Or the way he covers up that he's the honest goods

He's just a bit of a fixer-upper, he's got a couple of bugs

Seeing that he was caught scratching alongside Sven, he immediately stopped. "No I don't!"

His isolation is confirmation of his desperation for human hugs

So he's a bit of a fixer-upper, but we know what to do

The way to fix up this fixer-upper is to fix him up with you!

Kristoff, finally having had enough, yelled. "ENOUGH! She is engaged to someone else, okay?!"

The trolls stared at him for a few moments, blinking. They then huddled up and began to discuss.

So she's a bit of a fixer-upper, that's a minor thing

This quote 'engagement' is a flex arrangement

And by the way I don't see no ring!

With this in mind, they began to ambush Kristoff and chabge his clothes. Kristoff gawked as they attacked him with all sorts of forest themed decor before he fell to the ground. He managed to scramble and get himself up as they grinned.

So she's a bit of a fixer-upper, her brain's a bit betwixt

Get the fiance out of the way and the whole thing will be fixed!

At this, Kristoff could only groan into his palms.

On the other side, Anna however was being ambushed by trolls herself. They began playing with her hair while Jack snickered at the sidelines. He couldn't believe he was getting a front row ticket to a musical. Back from where he was from, people had to pay in order to watch. He looked up to see Bulda explain things to Anna.

We're not saying you can change him, 'cuz people don't really change

We're only saying that love's a force that's powerful and strange

People make bad choices if they're mad, or scared, or stressed

Throw a little love their way (throw a little love their way)

and you'll bring out their best

True love brings out their best!

Everyone's a bit of a fixer-upper, that's what it's all about!

Father! Sister! Brother! We need each other to raise us up

and round us out

Everyone's a bit of a fixer-upper, but when push comes to shove

Suddenly, Olaf popped into the picture while Jack just shook his head. "The only fixer-upper fixer that can fix up a fixer-upper is —."

True, true, true, true, true, true, love

Jack saw them suddenly digging a hole. He chuckled and sent a small blast in the air to make aurora lights shine. The trolls began dancing and singing as they tossed in Kristoff and Anna into the hole while singing.

True love, love, love, love, love, true love

True —

Then, one of the older male trolls began. "Do you, Anna, take Kristoff to be your troll-fully wedded —?"

Anna shook herself out of the daze and gasped. "Wait, what!?"

Jack sighed at Anna's lack of observation. She only understood it now?

The troll exclaimed. "You're getting married!"

Jack snickered. "Yep to a far better guy than the other one."

With that, the trolls began singing. "Love!"

Things would have been alright if not for Anna's hair suddenly turning whiter as she dropped into Kristoff's arms. The trolls gasped in fear as more strands of her hair turned white and her eyes slowly were turning blue. Jack flew towards her in a panic while Olaf rushed to her. Kristoff supported her body as the trolls gasped in horror.

"Get Grand Pabbie," Kristoff ordered the other trolls, feeling Anna become colder.

From the crowd of trolls, Grand Pabbie pushed the smaller trolls aside. "Bring her here, Kristoff."

Kristoff brought Anna closer as the princess placed her hands on the troll's hands.

"I-I," the old troll hung his head shamefacedly. "I cannot undo it."

Jack protested. "But you did it before!"

They all turned to look at him as they saw Jack standing there. Grand Pabbie looked closely at the white haired teenage boy before realizing that the guardian of fun did look familiar to him. He remembered saving Anna when she was much younger and he was also there in her memories. He could see the fear and worry flickering in Jack's eyes for Anna but he did not expect him to at least be able to undo the memory change spell that he had placed to prevent the ice from growing. Thankfully, Jack had removed it all together but the one at the heart still remained. He didn't expect however to see the guardian of fun bend down and shudder fearfully before lowering his voice.

"Is there any way," he whispered. "That at least I could help her?"

Grand Pabbie shook his head. "You can but it will only delay the effects."

Jack hung his head.

"You have done well to protect the siblings, Jack."

Jack suddenly stared at him in surprise. "How do you know my name?"

Kristoff and Olaf glanced at Grand Pabbie who smiled.

"The city of Arendelle has always been guarded by the guardians of ice and snow. Elsa had been gifted with the powers but her powers were suddenly tainted."

"Tainted? By who," Kristoff raised an eyebrow.

Jack glowered upon realizing that everything fell into place. "Pitch."

Grand Pabbie, Olaf and Kristoff glanced at Jack. "Who?"

"Pitch Black," Jack gnashed his teeth together angrily and clenched his fists tight until his knuckles turned white. "He is otherwise known as the Boogeyman. He basically is the epitome of fear. Anything that is scared or anything that is frightened especially of the dark – he will feed off them because it's what makes his guardian powers stronger. He must have found a way how to copy my powers and fuse his own darkness into it."

Grand Pabbie paled. "Then you must find him!"

But Jack knew better. If only Anna's memories hadn't been changed, Elsa would not have to live in fear. If she had not been told many years ago that fear was her greatest enemy then, Jack could have sworn he would have been able to help her control it. But the words that Grand Pabbie told her back then had terrified the little girl and she had just shut herself away.

"Then you shouldn't have told her then," Jack suddenly said.

Grand Pabbie glanced at him. "Told who?"

Anna glanced at Jack. "What do you mean?"

"You shouldn't have told her what her greatest enemy should have been. You should have told her what her greatest ally is," Jack pointed out before slowly raising his voice out of anger. "Don't you see? The only reason why her powers got worse was because she had been scared of them all this time! If she had been made to enjoy them, if someone helped her find the resource inside of her to help her enjoy it instead of focusing on that one bad event – SHE WOULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS!"

Kristoff didn't expect Jack to have such an angry outburst. But he had seen the sadness in the guardian of fun's eyes. Sure, he showed concern for Anna but he saw that there was more concern for Elsa. Even though the queen had blasted Anna and started going crazy with her powers, Jack still had his loyalty to her. It was the same he did for Anna!

"No wait," Kristoff shook his head until realization dawned upon him. "… But it is…"

Who else would want to go into the mountain with a crazy princess who says she can stop winter? He was probably the only one who did. However, they had grander things to worry about like stopping Anna from freezing into an icicle permanently!

"I know so," Grand Pabbie hung his head. "But now is not the time to cry over spilled milk, Jack. The only way to save Anna now is an act of true love. For an act of true love would thaw a frozen heart."

"An act of true love? Hans," Anna suddenly realized by glancing at Kristoff. "Kristoff, you have to take me to Hans."

Kristoff nodded. "Gotcha. What about you, Jack?"

Jack remained silent for a moment before looking back at the place he had come from. He looked at the tall palace that stood on the mountain top before looking at his staff. The guardian of fun first glanced at Anna and Kristoff then at the trolls. He knew now that he had the power to help Elsa. He wouldn't say fix because there was nothing to broken to begin with. The only thing that Elsa really did need now is a change of atmosphere and direction. He exhaled sharply while steeling himself, getting ready to fly.

"If Anna really thinks Hans is her true love then go," Jack nodded at Kristoff. "I'm going back to Elsa. She needs me."

That's Chapter 15! Sorry it took so long! I kinda got a writer's block.
