Me: I don't own Frozen or ROTG!
Chapter 19
Anna shivered as the cold wind licked against her skin. "E-Elsa?"
The Ice Queen stepped in with a sultry smile, folding her arms. She walked towards one of the chairs before taking a seat and folding her legs elegantly. Anna looked at Elsa's dark coloured hair and purple finger nail polish, wondering what in the world happened. She wasn't her usual elegant and controlled self.
"Well, Anna – feeling a little cold aren't we," Elsa smirked. "You look rather… frozen…"
Anna shivered and nodded. "Y-Yes…"
"Where's your beloved prince? Isn't he supposed to save you," Elsa jeered. "Didn't he proclaim to love you forever and ever and let you live your happily ever after!?"
"Yes! YES HE DID," Anna broke down in a hysterical fit, crying and screaming. "He promised!"
Olaf gasped when he noticed that Anna's feet were now turning white.
"He promised! He promised he would love me! He said love was an open door," she sobbed. "Yet he left me here! He went out to kill you because he wanted power! I should have seen that! But I didn't! I just wanted to be loved! And it's all your fault-!"
Elsa froze and then glowered at her. "What?"
"You left me alone! You kept telling me to go away," Anna screamed in a fit of rage. "And all I wanted – was to build a snowman-!"
Before Anna could finish her statement, Anna suddenly froze when Elsa put her hand out. Her feet began to move by itself as Elsa grinned. But it wasn't the usual grin that she had been used to. It was not the same grin she saw when she and her sister found a stash of chocolate one day. She could feel a chill run down her spine as Elsa stepped towards her.
"Then go build your snowman then," Elsa hummed coldly before twirling her hand. "Or better yet, why don't you become the snowman?"
Anna gasped for air as her legs began to freeze. Elsa watched her with a darkly and began walking away. Olaf jumped and ran after her, looking at Anna. The ginger-haired princess whimpered in pain only to see her sister walk out the door. The moment Elsa left, Olaf could hear Anna whimper.
"I just wanted was to build a snowman with you…"

Jack was left outside to fight the wendigos. Kristoff swung his pick axe while he had his staff. Freezing a curved blade over his shepherd staff, he swung his scythe and slashed the wendigo's head off. Snow splattered on the ground as the wendigos had glowing gold eyes. Kristoff swallowed hard while kicking another one down.
"Is this Elsa's doing," Kristoff asked and ducked from another attack.
Jack mournfully nodded. "Possibly, her fear had grown so strong that it had to spill somewhere."
"But why wendigos? Couldn't she have summoned yetis instead?!"
"That's because she never fear snowmen," Jack explained before kicking another one in the face. "She just wanted to…"
Do you wanna build a snowman?
He remembered when Anna would sing those words in front of Elsa's door. He remembered how Elsa would want to build a snowman with her but could not. She had shut herself away only to look at her powers as a curse. He was always told that his frost powers were a gift from the man on the moon. Soon, the whole area began populating with wendigos as they unleashed a blizzard all over Arendelle.
"Oh no," Jack gasped in horror as the wendigos began running in a circle, creating a huge blizzard tornado. "Kristoff!"
Kristoff looked towards him and saw the huge tornado, blinking. "Well, that's depressing."
"You kidding? Depressing is an understatement!"
Kristoff glanced at Jack. "Think you can fly us over there?"
Jack glanced at the tornado and nodded. "Yeah, better clench up!"
He flew towards Kristoff and grabbed him by his shirt, lifting him off the ground. Jack winced at the weight as he flew over the frozen bridge of Arendelle. He saw the stones cracking and the houses collapsing. The ice had become too cold for the infrastructures to stand up. The roofs had begun to cave in and crash as people fled their houses.
"Damn, damn," that was all that ran through Jack's mind. "We have to stop that tornado…!"
Suddenly, black sand slammed into Jack and Kristoff. They were knocked down clear from the sky as they crashed down onto the cobblestone pavement. Kristoff tumbled while Jack rolled and crashed against a dumpster. The black sand floated down and materialized before him, revealing Pitch with a smug look.
"Well Jack, I can't have you doing that," Pitch chuckled. "Stopping those wendigos would mean less fear and chaos for me to feed on."
Jack shook off the daze and glared at the guardian of Fear. "Pitch…!"
"Ah, ah," he waved his finger and strode towards Jack, flicking his forehead. "How stupid can you be? You can't stop a huge tornado with just you and a," glancing at Kristoff disdainfully. "An ice farmer!"
Jack hissed before opening his hand to call his staff to him. The staff zoomed towards his hand as Jack sprung up to kick Pitch in the face. Pitch hissed and summoned a black scythe and swung it at Jack. The guardian of fun slid beneath it before sweeping Pitch off his feet and slamming the butt end of his staff. Pitch coughed until a huge ice hand punched Jack off him. Pitch looked up only to see an icy golem with gleaming ice blue eyes but instead of snow, he had ice crystals protruding out of its body. Jack tumbled on the ground before getting back up on his feet for a clumsy recovery only to see what was standing before him and Pitch.
"M-Marshmallow," Jack gawked; was his upgrade a result of Elsa's dark side too? "I'm starting to like you more as a growling snowman."
Marshmallow glared at him and pointed its fists at him. Ice crystals started growing out and formed claws, shooting at Jack. The guardian of fun jumped out of the way and flew into the sky, shooting ice bolts at it. The crystals shattered as the golem roared at him, ready to punch him. Jack got ready to blast the golem's head off until he saw a portal open right behind the golem.
"Oh God, what now," Jack groaned; he already had enough problems as is!
The fight stilled for a moment when gold sand suddenly began to slither out. It swirled around Marshmallow as Jack realized who it was. He beamed in delight as the golden sand began to swirl around Marshmallow, making it drowsy. Soon, the golem swooned with a tired and happy smile before collapsing to the ground with a loud thud.
"Sandy," Jack beamed.
Sandy emerged from the portal with a smile, summoning a top hat made of golden sand to bow.
"Boy, am I glad to see you," Jack rushed over to Sandy and embraced him tightly. "Who else is with you?"
The ice elementals on the street soon started firing at Jack, Sandy and, Pitch. Jack and Sandy flew in the air to dodge the ice crystals detonating in their faces. They soared in the sky before diving towards the elementals. They prepared to blast until they saw two boomerangs swing in and smash them all. They stopped as the elementals lay in ice chunks.
"Cold day we have today, mate," an Australian drawl chuckled behind him.
Jack turned around and shook his head. "Bunny!"
The Easter Bunny twitched. "Jack, this better not be your idea of fun!"
"How is it my fault," Jack gawked at the huge rabbit. "I didn't do any of this!"
"You were supposed to be on vacation and observe! Not create a damn hail storm!"
More elementals approached them as they prepared to mow them down. However, they were suddenly trampled on by Sven and Kristoff had thrown one of his pick axes to shatter them. Bunny raised an eyebrow at Jack who shrugged.
"Anna's boyfriend and his pet," Jack quickly explained.
"Ah, makes sense. Don't she got better taste," Bunny let out a disgruntled snort.
"Her first fiancée was a megalomaniac."
"Damn, she's nuts."
More wendigos began to appear as the tornado got stronger. The winds howled and slashed against Jack, tearing up his sweater. For the first time, he saw himself bleed. He wasn't aware that spirits could bleed but now, he saw himself bleeding for the first time in a long time. He winced at the blows as Bunny struggled against the howling winds.
"Ya got any ideas, mate," Bunny yelled over the howling winds. "Yer the master of ice and snow!"
Jack winced and looked at the tornado. He saw the wendigos becoming bigger and stronger. Sandy made an inaudible yelp before clinging onto one of the streetlamps. Jack glanced at Kristoff who was holding on to Sven. No sane person would go into the tornado but then again, he wasn't human.
"Bunny, go with Kristoff to get Anna," Jack shouted over the winds. "I'm gonna go with Sandy to try and contain that tornado!"
Bunny nodded and hopped along, grabbing Kristoff and Sven. "C'mon, mate. Gotta save yer girlfriend."
That left Sandy and Jack to deal with the tornado. The winds grew stronger and burst through the windows, shattering the glass. The people in Arendelle were running and screaming as the tornado grew stronger. As much as he was the master of ice, snow and, wind, he could barely contain the tornado.
"It's too strong," Jack winced as the icy winds slashed his palms. "Agh!"
Sandy gasped and saw Jack's palms bleeding from the lash. The glowing golden sandman glared at the tornado and flew towards it. Jack saw the eldest of the guardians maneuvering through the howling icy winds, wincing at the snow blasting in his face.
"Sandy, wait! This isn't ordinary ice," he yelled.
The Sandman paid no heed to the guardian of fun. He floated right up to where the wendigos were running. He frowned before creating a gold lasso out of his sand. Whirling it around, Sandy looped one on one of the wendigos. The wendigo screamed and stopped, prompting the other wendigo to slam into the one that Sandy managed to rope. The tornado began weakening as the wendigos glared at the sandman. The golden guardian saw them before laughing sheepishly, waving his hand. The wendigo snorted and screeched until they were suddenly hit by a black and blue ice bolt. Sandy blinked in surprise when he looked down to see Jack, breathing heavily with his hair partially white and partially black.
When did he get his hair done, Sandy asked himself.
Roaring, Jack launched himself up into the air and threw his shepherd's staff in the air. In a fit of rage, Jack turned his staff into a freezing greatsword. Sandy gawked in astonishment; when did Jack learn how to do that? He swung his greatsword and decapitated one of the wendigos before jumping and impaling another one on the back. The tornado and blizzards weakened at every dead wendigo. With two wendigos down, Jack changed the form of his greatsword into an automatic crossbow and fired two arrows into the last of the wendigo. The wendigos fell and shattered, leaving nothing more than a soft icy wind blowing because of the last wendigo lassoed by Sandy.
Jack, stop, Sandy mouthed.
It was one of the few times the Sandman cursed his mutism. Jack glared at the wendigo as his former ice blue eyes became amber gold and his blue sweater became dark blue. He changed his crossbow back into his shepherd's staff and bludgeoned the wendigo on the head. The last wendigo shattered and the tornado vanished. When they floated down, Jack's hair slowly turned back into white and shook his head.
"Ugh, I only get that for one day and I need a crash course on how to control it," Jack winced. "Being Nightmare Jack isn't fun…"
Sandy shook his head with an adamant look. You think!?
"Sorry about that, Sandy," Jack chuckled. "I won't do it unless we have to."
Suddenly, more ice elemental soldiers surrounded them. Sandy and Jack prepared to fight with their weapons drawn. Sandy had his usual whip while Jack had his staff. However, a big black shadow appeared over them before a huge Christmas sled decided to land on top of them and smash them to pieces. Jack and Sandy exchanged glances until they saw a jolly white haired and bearded man peek out from the carriage along with a fairy humming with her hummingbird-like wings.
"Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas," North grinned.
