"Ki-chan, you're spoiling her too much." Satsuki groaned, "Whaaaat? What are you talking about?" Kise rolled his eyes, "Here ya go my princess", he smiled as he placed the sundae in front of her, earning him a big grin and an incomprehensible 'Thank you, Ki-chan-san' from the little girl.

Kise looked back to Satsuki, who was unamused. "Ohhh come on, we rarely go out together." He smiled at her, "Ki-chan, we go out thrice a week, and you just had to give her new toys, cakes, sweets everytime we meet! It's unhealthy no!" She pouted, Kise chuckled lightly, "You're exactly how I imagined you as a mother, Momoicchi." he lightly patted her head ruffling it.

"Ehhh, what's that supposed to mean?" She turned her gaze to Sakura who was sloppily eating her cherry sundae, "Hon, come here for a sec, you have ice cream on your chin". Kise rested his head on his palm adoring the pair, "I mean, you've always been like that, caring and very mother-like, and now you're one..." his voice, a bit shaken.

"Well, I guess it's just in my nature to want to take care of someone else..." She smiled softly as she lightly pinched her little girl's cheek. Kise's gaze did not move, Well, who's gonna take care of you then? He looked at her deeply, Momoi caught him looking and stared into his eyes of sadness. You're that disappointed in me, Ki-chan?

"Anyway," Momoi cut, "I'm gonna enroll Sakura at the nearby pre-school tomorrow, do you want to come with me?" She asked, "But she's not going since mom and dad are taking her to the zoo" she laughed lightly, "They are a lot more energetic when she's around you know."

"Are you like, asking me out on a date Momoichii?" He sneered slyly, "W-What?!" A noticeable blush crept on her face, "N-No, not like that Ki-chan!" Kise laughed at her reaction, "I was just teasing you dummy." "Of course you are."

"Good morning, Momoicchi, ready for our date?" He greeted as she opened the door for him, giving her a soft and quick peck on the cheek. "Ki-chan drop it, mom might hear you!" She shushed trying to supress her laughter. "Just, wait here for a bit, I'll go get my purse upstairs."

Kise helped himself towards the large living room, Not much has changed. He plopped down the 'famous Momoi armchair', the one that he and Aomine would always race to have. As his weight went down with the fluffy cushion, old memories flooded his mind. Good, old memories.

"Ahh, Ryouta-kun!" Satsuki's mother greeted, "Look at you, you look more handsome than ever!", Kise laughed lightly standing up to greet the old lady, "Good morning ma'am, and you look like you haven't aged." "Oh dear, don't go on talking sweet to me like that, I might believe you there for a second." Both broke into a laugh, but after a few seconds Satsuki's mother smiled sadly, "I'm glad you're here for her, Ryouta-kun.", he looked into her eyes and nodded, "She's been through a lot, she had no one for all of those years...just as I thought Daiki-kun was someone I could trust my daughter to..." She chuckled, "Ah, that boy huh, I wonder how he is right now..." She lightly shook her head, "Well, last time I heard he took criminology." Kise answered, "Hmm, good for him I guess. But enough talk of the past, I'm just glad you're dating my daughter."

Baffled by the talk, Kise laughed heartily, 'Oh no, w-we're not dating...", "Eh? Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you two were, you two look very good together after all, and Sakura has taken quite a liking with you." She ligthly patted his shoulder. "She's a really good girl, ma'am, just like her mother." "Indeed she is, now I'm a bit sad, I really thought you were pursuing my girl, to think I've already saw you as a groom." Satsuki's mother chirped in delight. The image made Kise blush for a bit, Me and Momoicchi a couple, huh? Why not, he smiled to himself.

"Mom?, you're up early." Satsuki hurried, "We're going out for a bit", she quickly fixed her hair, "Oh I know dear, now go you two, I don't want to ruin your date." She winked at the both of them. Kise just laughed at Satsuki's mother, "We're off, I'll drop her by later.", "Mother?" Satsuki groaned, "J-just, look out for Sakura, okay? And no more sweets!"

"Did you hear that, Momoichii?, your mom thinks we're going out." Kise teased Satsuki, "Ki-chan, would you drop that topic now." She rolled her eyes on him, "Oh come on, she said we make a really good pair." Satsuki looked up to him once again, "Whatever you say, Ki-chan." She laughed.

The two drove off to the nearby pre-school, Satsuki insisted on driving since it was their family car they were using. Upon ariving, they were greeted by one of the teachers. "Ah, goodmorning, would you be Mrs. Satsuki? The one I have talked to the phone last night?" The young teacher asked politely, "Mrs.?-" "Ah yes, that's her, my wife." Kise grinned big at the teacher, Satsuki just gasped in horror at him who winked at her back, "Okay then, please follow me towards the office."

"Ki-chan!? What the hell was that!?" Satsuki whispered loudly, her well-groomed brows furrowed and her little mouth trembling, "Come on Momoicchi, just for laughs okay, I'll be picking her up from time to time anyways, I can be a father." He smiled. "Ki-chan..." she facepalmed herself hard, "Come on!~, it's not that big a deal, right?" "Ugh, fine, j-just...ugh...Ki-chan...you really are a handful, aren't you?", Kise laughed at her frustration, "Thanks, dear."

The pair arrived at the office, Satsuki filled up the application forms while Kise sat in one of the waiting chairs near the office door. He was a bit excited with Sakura going to school, making friends, and bringing home stars stamped on her little wrist. "Thank you, Mrs. Momoi, let me get these processed. The head of the pre-school department would talk to you in a bit regarding other requirements for Sakura-chan since she's a transferee. Please wait for a bit." "Okay, thank you very much." She bowed politely.

She took a sit beside Kise, "So, everything going well?" "Yes, just takes more papers since she's an American citizen." "Hnm...so she went back home earlier with your parents, right?" "Yes, my parents took her home last month. Supposedly I was together with them, but my work held me for another two weeks." "What do you do there, Momoicchi?" "I was an executive manager for an advertising company, worked my ass off for that position no." "Ohhh, you must have made lot's of money then." "Not to brag about, but I saved it all up for Sakura. I was also worried about my parents, they loved America, but they argued they would love to go back here with us..." "Everyone missed you folks around here too." "Well, you're one to talk, Captain Kise, you must be a millionaire already," she tapped his shoulder lightly, "Do you still live with you sisters?", "Oh no, the other one is in Paris working for a fashion company, the other one settled in Australia, I have a niece and a nephew with her, I just met them one time when I was over there for a flight, too bad it was just for a short time." He sighed, "Wow, that's kind of big huh, so where do you stay?", "I have an apartment in the city, you should come visit me one time, I have a love~ly hot tub." Kise teased, "K-Ki-chan? What are you suggesting you dirty boy." Satsuki suppresed her laughs.

Kise looked at her deeply, he wanted to know what happened. He wanted to know everything. But he can't just ask her, "Who's the father?", "Where is he?", he thought it's too rude to suddenly barge all these questions on her, "Ki-chan?, Satsuki looked a bit worried," "O-oh, nothing, I'm hungry, let's grab lunch later okay?" He pinched her cheeks softly.

"Mr. and Mrs. Momoi, the department head is here." The young teacher called, the two made their way towards the small office. "Thank you." the two mumbled. As they open the door, a familiar voice greeted them,

"Momoi-san?, Kise-kun?"

"T-Tetsu-kun?"
"Kurukocchi!?"
