"Baddy?" Red knocked on the door.

"Mama!" Cerise toddled to the door, almost falling, but not.

"Hi." I opened the door. I picked up our little girl and let my wife in.

"Mommy!" Ceris' wiggled, wanting to be held by her mother. Red took her. She smiled.

"Let's go home." Red told me. I got the bags I packed earlier and we went back home.

I put Cerise to bed and we had dinner. Then we watched TV, got Cerise to sleep again, brushed our teeth, and we had a little fun.

"Yeah, we're home, Ceris'. Stop chewing that." I took the remote away. She wimpered. I paused before giving her Pony. She thought for a moment and hugged her toy.

"So, Sweetie, I heard you wouldn't leave the cabin unless they promised to let me be Cerise's mom." Red said, sitting on the couch.

"Yeah... But it worked. You're home now." I smiled.

"My husband throwing a temper tantrum. That's the best." She deadpanned.

"Don't question my methods." I huffed.

"I know." She kicked me lightly.
