Partner in Crime

What if the Grinch had a little sister, a partner in crime along with Max? Lucy, a teenage girl who doesn't remember much of her past, was found in a blizzard by the Grinch. Taking her in, the Grinch raises Lucy as her older brother, and forms her into his partner in crime.

6. Chapter 6

Chapter six: New Oportunities

"HOW DARE YOU SNEAK OUT TO WHOVILL!" The Grinch roared. Lucy winced.

It hadn't been a happy apmosphere when Lucy opened the door to their home, smelling like garbage and slightly like Christmas cookies.

"Look, I'm sorry! But-" Grinch cut Lucy off.

"AFTER EVERYTHING I'VE DONE, THIS IS HOW YOU REPAY ME?" He yelled.

"Grinch, something happened, I-"

"HOW STUPID ARE YOU?"

"DAMN IT GRINCH, JUST LISTEN TO ME!" Lucy screamed, and in her anger, ice shot from her palms.

The Grinch froze, not because of his sister's outburst, but because his sofa was now entirly frozen with ice.

"Lucy...did you just...?" He stammered.

"Yes! I was down there when I hit a guy with...this...I don't know how, but I did!" Lucy said.

Grinch sighed. "Let's take a look at you then."

"According to my scanner, your body has 15% of frozen radiation in your system...of course, the radiation could have come from my collection. It must have leaked onto something you ate from outside." Grinch said, studying the screen of his body scanner.

Lucy sighed. How many times had she gone through the garbage and ended up with a mouthfull of odd-tasting snow?

Plenty of times.

"What am I going to do?" Lucy asked tiredly.

"Don't worry sister. This new talent of yours shall give us new opportunities..." Grinch said and smiled wickedly.

It literally came to me at last minute.
