Chapter 41 breaking one's heart

A/n: I had way too much fun with this chapter.

"You kids have tainted my son, And have made him rebel against me" she said "So as punishment, I'm going to teach you brats a lesson, And your precious husband will be my example". Reikokuna then came back with a huge tray of disturbing tools. Barb wire, knifes, Needles, Large nails, and many other things. The group was in utter fear at what she would do with them and what she would do to Ross.

"This game is very simple" Tsumetai said "I used to use these tools to keep my experiments under control if any of them defied me, But I'm going to use them for our game" she then picked up one of the large nails and smiled.

"And that game is called...heartbreaker".

The girls started to freak.

"No! Stop! Don't do it! Don't hurt Ross!" Rei said, Tsumetai just walked over to Ross and held his head.

"You need discipline, And I'm going to give it to you" she said "A Hikatori must learn discipline, And you have to be reminded of that!". Ross then started to try to move again.

"Tsumetai! You leave them out of this!" he said "They don't have to suffer!".

"Oh...they won't be getting hurt in this game" Tsumetai said "Just there hearts".

Ross raised an eyebrow at her.

"What do you mean?" He asked her, That's when Tsumetai raised her hand and slammed the large nail into his right hand.

"Aghhhh!" Ross screamed, The group was in total fear and utter worry for their friend.

"Ross!" Saya cried "You bitch! How dare you!".

Tsumetai looked at Ross's hand as blood came down the large nail as his hand twitched. Tsumetai licked her lips as a smile came across her face.

"Now do you understand what I mean Ross?" She said "The more I hurt you, The more their hearts will break. Thus the name of the game being called heartbreaker!". She then grabbed the other large nail and slammed it into his other hand getting another painful scream from her son.

"Gahhh!".

Rei started crying as she was being forced to hear and watch her husband being tortured by his own mother, Tsumetai pondered as she looked at her son who was panting as he was trying to ignore the pain that he was feeling.

"This is good" Tsumetai said "You didn't break that fast, Hmm...I wonder how far we can take this?". She then grabbed two more nails as she then grabbed a hammer as she took one of the large nails and slammed it into his feet.

"Ahhhh!".

"Quit it! Just stop it!" Yuuki said "He's had enough! You don't have to keep doing this!".

Tsumetai kept ignoring there cries as she kept playing her game. She then took Ross's left arm and broke it as she then took his wrist and broke it as well, Ross's cries of pain only made her want to discipline him even more.

She then lifted his head up to her's "Having fun so far?" She said "Well, Don't worry. We've only just begun".

That's when she grabbed a whip that was covered in barb wire and nails. She then walked behind him as she grinned, She then raised her right arm as she started hitting his back with her whip as the barb wire and nails cut into his bare flesh.

"Ahhhhghhh!".

Tsumetai just smiled as she then had an idea.

"Put some barb wire around his neck!" She said, Reikokuna nodded as he then grabbed the small piece of barb wire and carefully wrapped it around his neck. Tsumetai nodded at him.

"Perfect! Now let's keep playing!" She said as she then went back to whipping her son.

"Ugh!".

Tsumetai's swings started to get stronger and stronger with each hit, Ross's friends were in utter horror. "Ross!" Saeko cried as she tried her best to have hold back her tears, But was failing. She didn't want to see Ross suffer like this.

Ross was panting as he looked at the screen, He saw his friends and his wife's as they looked at him. They wanted to help him, They needed him to stay alive.

Ross smiled a tiny bit.

"It's ok you guys..." Ross assured them "I'm alright, This pain is noth-".

That's when Tsumetai wrapped the whip around his chest and pulled as hard as she could, The barb wire and nails started to dig deep into his skin. Ross gritted his teeth as he felt the ungodly pain that he was receiving, He was trying to be strong for his friends. But the more he endured, The more he felt like he was going to break.

His friends couldn't stand it any longer, Rei kept trying to break out of her bonds as she wanted to hold Ross in her arms to comfort him. But it only proved to be no use.

"Keep struggling all you want" Tsumetai said "You're just wasting time!", She then pulled the whip even more around Ross's chest as blood started to come down his chest, Ross was fighting back the urge to scream again.

Tsumetai then stopped pulling the whip as she then walked in front of Ross.

"Finally ready to call it quits?" She asked him, Ross just glared at her as he then spat in her face. "Fuck you!" He said, Tsumetai then wiped off the spit from her face as she then balled up her fist.

"Now your going to die!".

She then grabbed the knifes on her tray and then proceeded to stab Ross all over his body as hard as she could, Ross screamed out in pain from the knife wounds that he was receiving. Tsumetai kept stabbing him all over his body until she stopped and looked at his large scar over his chest.

"Ah, What's this now?" She said, She then grabbed her scalpel and aimed it at his scar.

"I wonder what's inside" Tsumetai said, She then proceeded to pierce his wound as she dragged her scalpel down to the end of his scar. She then used both her hands to open up his wound she glanced into his chest to see his beating heart.

"Well, Your heart is in fine condition" she said "Anyway, I think we'll stop here".

She then snapped her fingers as her guards came over to her "Take him to the cell with the others, I'll get him in a few" she said. Her guards nodded as she then walked over and undid his bonds, As soon as she undid one of his arms Ross then tried to grab at her but missed as she only stopped him.

Tsumetai smirked "My my" she said as she punched him across the face "You still have a lot of energy after what I did to you, I'll make sure to use that". Her guards then took him away.

-the cell-

The doors opened up as Ross was thrown to the floor, His friends tried to break free so they could help him.

"Ross!" Rei cried "Let me go! Let me hold him!", The guards just looked at her as then left. Ross slowly tried to get up but his wounds caused him so much pain. He forced himself up as he slowly and painfully walked over to his friends.

He placed his left hand on Rei's cheek, Rei kept crying as she saw the wounds all over his body.

"Ross..." Rei whimpered.

Ross smiled a tiny bit.

"D-don't worry..." He said "I'll be...just fine...I-" that's when Ross spat up some of his blood onto the floor.

"Agh! Fuck!" He said, Seeing that only made his friends worry even more.

"Angel..." Alice said, Ross looked over to her and Zeke as they were chained up to the wall, Ross walked over to them as he leaned to Alice's face.

"It's alright" Ross reassured her, Alice just shook her head at him.

"No it's not!" She said "She hurt you! And you're in pain! I don't want to lose you angel!". Alice then started to cry, Ross then wrapped his arms around her as he placed his head next to hers.

"Shhh, I promise you. All of you, I'm not going anywhere" he said, Everyone smiled at him.

"You mean that?" Saeko asked him, Ross nodded as he walked over to her "Yes" he said "I truly mean that".

-meanwhile-

Tsumetai and her older child Reikokuna were walking down the hallway as they looked out the huge glass windows. Tsumetai was pondering to herself.

"Something wrong mother?" Reikokuna asked her with concern, Tsumetai glanced at her son as she sighed.

"Oh it's nothing sweetie, Just thinking that's all".

"You're bad at lying mother, You know this".

Tsumetai sighed as she stopped walking "There going to escape" she said, Reikokuna quickly caught on "Ross and his friends?" He said.

Tsumetai nodded.

"Correct, I know there going to escape from there cell. It's only a matter of time".

Reikokuna flared up his fire "Should I kill them now?" He said, Tsumetai shook her head at him.

"No, You'll get to do that once they escape" she said.

Reikokuna turned down his fire as he crossed his arms "And why is that? Why can't I just end them now?" He asked, Tsumetai then smiled at her son.

"Because those brats will be too busy helping out Ross, They'll be so concerned for his safety that they'll be distracted. Thus making them easy pray" she said, Reikokuna smiled at his mother "Ah, Now I understand".

Tsumetai nodded as they then started walking again.

"Mhm, And I can't wait to see it".
