Chapter 42 spread paths

-cell room-

Ross and his friends were in there room as a two hours passed by, Ross had released his friends from there bonds not to long ago as they comfort him. Kaz was leaning on the wall.

"Damn, To think that we have been in here for two hours" he said as he looked over at the girls who were caring for Ross "How is he?".

Rei looked at Kaz with concern.

"Not to well, His wounds aren't getting better" she said. Saeko just held onto Ross's hand "If this keeps up, Then he might not make it..." She said. Kohta walked over to them.

"But if we can fix up his wounds, Then Ross will have a fighting chance" he said, Saya then adjusted her glasses.

"Do you really think that he'll get better just like that!?" She said "The wounds that his mother inflicted on him has caused too much damage to his body. If you think that he'll just heal over night then that's not going to happen".

Takashi sighed as he gritted his teeth in anger.

"Damn Tsumetai!" He said "So now we're all stuck here until she gets bored and wants to hurt Ross even more".

"N-no...were not...".

Everyone looked at Ross, Ross was trying to sit up but the pain was too much as he fell back into Rei's lap.

"Damn this hurts!" He said, Rei held him close to her chest "Ross don't" she said "Your body can't take anymore, You need to rest". Ross ignored her words as he forced himself to get up, He slowly got to his feet as he panted heavily. The others just watched him as he carefully moved his arms and legs.

"Ok..." Ross said "Let's see if we can get out of here...", Ross then activated his lightning as he created a huge ball in his left hand.

"Lightning volt!".

Ross then ran at the door as he coated his left fist with his lighting volt and punched the door, The door only had a small dent in it. Ross then proceed to punch the door using his double lightning volt to coat his hands as he kept punching the door, He felt the pain from the holes in his hands but he didn't care at the moment. He then charged up his left fist with black lightning as he then sent one hard punch to the door knocking it off it's hinges and into the wall.

Ross panted as he held his left hand "Got it..." He said, The others ran over to him "Ross! Are you alright!?" Saya asked him as she looked at his hands, She saw that his hands were bruised and a little bloody.

Ross nodded at her "Yeah, I'm ok" he said "But we don't have time to stand around, We need to find that cure".

"But were would we find it?" Alice said "We don't know this area very well, and would be lost if we tried to spit up". The others knew that Alice was right, The last thing that they needed was to be lost. Kohta sighed "Well, I think that we should find our equipment before we should go find the cure" he said. Saya then shouted at him "And were should we go to find our stuff fat ass!? They could be destroyed for all we know!". Takashi and Kaz were in deep thought.

"well, I think that we should look for our stuff first then go find the cure second" Kaz said. Takashi looked at him "You think that's a good idea Kaz?", Kaz nodded at him.

"Yup, If we find our equipment then will have a fighting chance against Tsumetai! And maybe even Reikokuna too" he said. Ross had his arms crossed as he then snapped his fingers.

"I have an even better idea" he said "You guys go and find the equipment, I'll go and look for the cure", Everyone just looked at him in disbelief. Yuuki and Rei ran over to him.

"No! You can't do that Ross!" Yuuki said.

"Yuuki's right! We don't want anything to happen to you, What if you-" Ross quickly cut Rei off as he kissed her deeply, Rei held onto him as tight as she could. The two then stopped kissing as they looked into each other's eyes.

"Ross..." Rei said as she didn't break eye contact with him, Ross just placed his hand on her cheek "I'll be fine, Everything will be alright. I promise" he said. The others looked at him extremely worried.

"Are you sure? What if you run into any problems?" Kohta asked him, Ross just smiled brightly at his best friend.

"If I run into any problems, Then they'll just have to face the wrath of the thunder god!" He said, Kohta smiled brightly at his friends comment. Saya then walked forward as she then gently pulled him to her face.

"Just promise us one thing!".

"What's what?".

Saya then blushed as she locked her lips with his for a few seconds before she stopped and smiled at him.

"That you'll come back to us" she said, Ross nodded as Yuuki then kissed his cheek "Make sure to watch your surroundings ok sweetheart" she said, "Will do" Ross said. Saeko and Shizuka then held onto Ross as they both kissed him as well.

"Be safe ok" Saeko said as she nuzzled the side of his neck, "And good luck!" Shizuka said.

Ross's face got red as she nodded.

"R-right" he said, That's when he felt Alice pull on him. Ross looked down at her "Yes Alice ?".

"Please be careful angel" she said as Zeke scratched at Ross's legs barking a bit, Ross leaned down as he picked them up and hugged them tight.

"I will, Angel will be careful. I promise" he said, Alice held onto Ross as tight as she could, He hen placed her down on the ground as he stood up and sighed.

"Watch your back ok bro!" Takashi said, Ross nodded as he smiled at him.

"Got it! I'll come back once I have the cure in my possession" he then started to walk away before Asami called out to him.

"Wait a minute Ross!", Ross stopped as she ran over to him "What's up?". Asami I then pulled out two earpieces as she gave one to Ross.

"You'll need this, So that way we can communicate while we split up" Asami said, Ross placed the earpiece on his right ear "Wow, I didn't think that you would have these on you Asami" he said.

"Well, Us officers are given these if we have to split form our team when the situation calls for it" she said as she put here on and turned the volume to speaker mode. Ross turned on his earpiece as he then started to run off.

"Thanks! And I make sure to keep in touch with you guys on the way!" He said, The others then ran off as they went to find there equipment.

-Tsumetai's office-

Tsumetai was looking over her work as Reikokuna was sharping his fireseal sword, The two of them were waiting until Ross and the others escaped so they would take action.

"How long must I wait!?" Reikokuna said impatiently, Tsumetai just kept to her work as she didn't look up at her son.

"Patience my child, Just have patience" she said "We'll give them a few more hours, Then we'll just break them unti-".

Just then the alarm went off.

Tsumetai and Reikokuna then smiled as Tsumetai got from her seat and picked up her nodachi "Now you may go after them, Don't worry about me. I'll be there shortly" she said. Reikokuna nodded as he ran out of the room and down the hallway, Tsumetai then walked over to the wall and activated the lockdown system. She then pressed the intercom button and set it to speaker.

"Attention! Would all of the living armor soldiers go after the intruders and bring them back to their cell. We wouldn't want them sticking there noses into things now would we".

She then walked from the intercom and walked out of the room.
