Chapter 43 what we came here for
-meanwhile with The group-
The others were running down the hallway as they tried to find there weapons. As they kept going Kohta stopped halfway, "Hey you guys!" He shouted getting everyone's attention.
"What is it Kohta? Did you find something?" Kaz asked him, Kohta nodded as he pointed at a large map that showed the whole area.
"We can use this map to get around this place" he said "That way we won't lose our way". The others smiled at the idea "Good, Ok..let's see where we are" Takashi said as he looked at the map. "Ok, Were here on sector 8, And the armory is on sector 14" he said.
"Ok, Let's get going. The last thing we need is-" Kaz was then interrupted by the intercom:
"Attention! Would all of the living armor soldiers go after the intruders and bring them back to their cell. We wouldn't want them sticking there noses into things now would we".
The gang freaked out as they headed to sector 14, Asami then contacted Ross on her earpiece.
-meanwhile with Ross-
Ross was running down the other way as he looked around to make sure that none of Tsumetai's 'Things' were around, He started to slow down a bit as he then made a right turn.
"Jeez, This place is a maze. I just hope I'm going in the right direction" he said to himself, He then heard his earpiece vibrate. Ross turned on his earpiece as he spoke.
"Yeah?".
"Ross! It's Asami! We have some bad news, Tsumetai has found out about our escape. And has sent some of her creations after us! So watch out!" She said. Ross stopped running as he freaked a bit "What! I'll head back to you guys!" He said, Asami quickly stopped him.
"Ross no! We'll handle it, You just worry about getting that cure!".
Ross sighed as he calmed as he took a deep breath "Fine, Just watch your backs!" He said as he ran again down the hall, As he was running he saw some of Tsumetai's living armors at the end of the hall.
"Well well, Look who came to say hi" Ross said as he activated his lightning and changed it to red.
"Double lightning volt!".
Ross jumped in the air as he attacker the armors with his attack breaking them into pieces, Ross smirked at his small victory. However his smirk soon turned to shock as he saw the living armors start to repair themselves, To make matters worse; the armors started to become bigger and stronger.
"Tsk! This is bad" Ross said as he then decided to run off "I shouldn't waste my time with them, I have to find that cure". He made another turn only to find more living armors.
"Crap!" Ross then turned around only to see the previous armors that he had ran away from, Ross glanced over his shoulder to see the other armors come after him. He then activated his bloodlust drive form and charged up his black lightning as he then coated his hands with lightning forming claw like talons.
"Lightning claws!" He shouted as he dashed at his enemies and slashed at the weaker ones as he then went to the stronger ones. However the stronger living armors dodged his attacks as they then punched Ross into the ground. Ross hit the ground hard as he was in pain, Plus the added pain that he had received from Tsumetai only made it worse. He writhed in pain as he struggled to get back up.
"Agh! Fuck!" He said as the living armors held him down and started to crush his body, Ross gritted his teeth as he then charged his lightning again.
"Shockwave E.M.P!".
He the blasted the living armors off of him as they hit the walls, Ross slowly got to his feet as he walked down the hallway. He then activated the earpiece as he spit out a bit of his blood.
-meanwhile with the others-
The group had finally made there way to sector 14 without any trouble, Kaz placed his hands on his hips as he walked up to the doors.
"Whew we made it" he said, The others nodded in response. "Ok, Let's get this thing open. The sooner we get our stuff, The sooner we can go and help Ross" Yuuki said. Kaz then pushed open the doors as they all walked inside, They found there equipment as well as a few other weapons in the armory as well. Kohta quickly ran over to them.
"Oh man! This here is a XM8 assault rifle! And over here is a PP-19 Bizon sub machine gun! Haha! And over here is-", He then felt Saya hit him over the head "This is not time to be have a weapon orgasm over! We have to help Ross remember!?" She said, That's when they heard Asami's earpiece go off, She quickly answered it.
"Ross?".
"Yeah...it's me...".
"Are you ok?".
"Not really...I ran into those things that Tsumetai sent after us...".
The others freaked, Saya ran over and took the earpiece away from Asami "Ross! Dammit where are you!?" She said, Ross didn't respond as she only heard him breathing slowly on the other end.
"Not sure...I couldn't find a map, So I'm just running around blind" he said, "Just hold on, We're on our way now!" She said as she gave the earpiece back to Asami.
"We have to go now!".
-meanwhile with Ross-
Ross was leaning on the wall as he was catching his breath, He had ran for a good 12 minutes after making 8 different turns. He was getting weak from staying in his bloodlust drive and he couldn't take anymore. He took one last breath as he started walking down the hallway.
"I fell like I'm going in circles" he said, As he kept walking he then saw a set of stairs leaning downward, He decided to go down them. He walked down them to see that it lead to a huge arena like room. He looked to his right to see a small room that had a faint blue glow to it.
He then ran over to it and walked inside, As he walked in he saw piles of books on the shelves and a lot of test tubes on a table, The room itself was covered in dust as if it hadn't been used in years.
Ross looked around the room to see if he could find anything, He then walked over to the bookshelf and looked at the books "Maybe one of these can help me find the cure" he said as he took one of the books, That's when the whole bookcase went up reviling a set of stairs that lead down.
"What the!?" He said as he took slow steps down, He glanced at his surroundings to make sure that there were no traps. As he reached the end of the steps he was in utter shock at what he saw, There in front of him was a huge tube that was broken as it had a label at the bottom that said:
-Ross Hikatori-
Ross walked over to the huge glass tube as he now realized where he was, He was in the place that he was born. This tube was where he grew up into a baby. Ross then glanced over at the table and saw a small glass vial that had a blue liquid in it as it was in a large hard plastic see through case, Ross walked over to the table and examined the item as he opened it up and held the vial.
"What is this thing?" He said, That's when he remembered what his father had told him:
~I looked over her work on her undead serum that she had labeled the experiment of the dead. It took me some time to crack it, But I was able to do it. And I created an antidote to counter it".~
Ross's face then lit up as he then placed the vial into his pocket and activated his earpiece. He waited for her to pick up as he then heard a voice on the other side.
"Ross".
"Asami! Hey, I got good news! Put me on speaker".
Asami did just that so everyone could hear him.
"What's up Ross, Is something wrong?" Shizuka said, Ross smiled on his end "Nope, I have great news. I found it you guys! I found the-".
Just before he could tell them, He was then impaled in the abdomen.
"Gaghhhh!".
