A woman with green hair stood over icy ground covered in a vale of blood. Her dark eyes watched as a man draped in dark hood ripped through people carelessly. He tore them open silently as their screams echoed in the night. A single man with pure white hair stood over the bodies enraged at the murderer, a wave of water floated around his body like a whip.

"DIE!" He shouted as he rushed the man in a dark hood and sent the wave of water at him with all his might. The hooded man jumped high into the sky and dropped down on the lone man with long claws that rend through the man's thick jacket just slightly missing his skin. The white haired man tore off the think jacket exposing his powerful body to the cold air. "You have to do better then that monster!"

"All will fall into the depths..." Said the hooded man in a monotone voice full of venom. Black smoke began to flow from his arms and pooled into his palm. The dark smoke grew until two powerful orbs of condensed shadows hovered in his clawed hands. "So fall into darkness."

"SHUT UP!" the white haired man waved his arms about lifting himself from the ground on a large pillar of twisting water a mile above the ground. The man jumped from the pillar and pulled the twisting water with both of his arms sending the water in an arch slamming as if a giant twisting club. Roaring the man brought the pillar down attempting to send the water onto the hooded man. "DROP DEAD!"

"You first..." the hooded man brought the two orbs of condensed shadows from both his arms and combined them shooting a large beam of darkness at the water burning through it and hitting the man knocking him back into a snow covered building. The green haired woman smiled walking up to the hooded man running a hand on his back fondly.

"Nothing can stand in our way now! The protector of the portal is gone, the wolf is miles away, all is going according to plan!" an old man covered in dust walked up to the woman coughing horribly. "How much longer do you have my friend?"

"I still have a few hours lady hydra. But trust me I will see this to the end as I have promised." the woman smiled and looked across the town seeing hundreds of body's strewn about contorted in blood and snow.

"Just look at it… isn't it beautiful? Just think of how it will be once we gain the chaos spirit's power! Now with a being made of pure darkness and magic we finally have a perfect host… soon all will die! All will fade into the depths of darkness…. And I'm just dieing to watch!"

I sat out in the snow along with most of the other students. The professor called us all here for some special announcement. We all sat waiting for the man to speak when a sphere of metal came down in front of us. Knowingly the students got into formation thinking he came here for a battle. If he was coming here to pick a fight they were ready for it.

"Calm yourselves!" shouted the professor. "There is no need to be alarmed."

"Charles is right." the sphere opened up as four more came down from the sky. Magneto stood there without his helmet which was odd. The professor informed us that he could not use his telepathic powers on him because of it. He was wide open for a mental attack the way he was. The other sphers opened to show four men one had odd eyes that shined black and red, another held a gas container on his back attached to a flame thorougher, the third was a muscled man who appeared rather young despite his size, and the final I recognized as Sabertooth. "We are here in need of your help."

"Must be pretty life threatening to come to us after what you did!" said Scott being held back by his brother Alex. I felt the hate radiating off his heart. I didn't know what it was that brought him to us… but I knew after what I did for him he was here for peace and I wasn't about to let everyone break his second chance. I walked up to him and extended my hand much to the gasps of the other students.

"If you need help consider me in." I felt his heart soar as he took my hand in his.

"Thank you." he tuned to the students and explained what he was here for. "for some time now I have been tracking missing mutants that I believe were taken from their homes by an organization calling themselves Hydra." Logan eyes widened at that and Laura cringed hiding behind him in fear of the name. "I've located their base of operations within the dessert. Their are guarded by many soldiers who are trained in dealing with mutants, I require your aid in infuriating the base and saving the mutants who have been captured. From what we could find we suspect they are planing to execute them tonight."

"How do we know this isn't some kind of trap?" asked Alex bitterly. I smiled and placed my hand over Magneto's chest.

"Because he's telling the truth. If you don't believe him then believe me when I say his heart is in the right place." the look in their eyes was enough for me to know they trusted my words.

"Their is however another issue that needs our attention." said the professor with a grim look in his eyes. "A spike of energy emitted from the North Pole along with a huge loss of life… located in Liam's town."

"WHAT!?" Liam rushed up to the professor frightened for his people. "How many are dead!? Is my brother OK? My mom and dad!?"

"Your parents are safe, they left the town before the deaths accrued… but I could not sense your brother… I'm sorry." Liam's eyes watered and his hands and body shook in horror. I placed my hand on his back and made him look in my eyes.

"Listen to me, we'll go together to stop who ever is doing this and find your brother." he calmed a bit but the terror still filled his heart to the brim. I turned to everyone and turned to the professor. "We need a plan..."

"Yes. Listen up! I believe there is only three mutants within Liam's town causing the deaths, because of the sheer numbers of guards within the Hydra complex the majority of us will be going to rescue them. Laura because of your knowledge of Hydra you will be on the rescue mission along with everyone other then Liam, Devlin, Logan, and two of Magneto's Acolytes, who will be going to safeguard and apprehend the villains committing these atrocity's." Magneto pointed the man with the strange eyes and the muscular young man.

"Take Gambit and Colossus; they will prove useful to you." The man with the strange eyes walked in front of me smiling quite handsomely. His eyes up close where really beautiful to me, like two rubys shining from within a pool of darkness.

"Hello there Shar. I be Gambit." He smirked as he saw my ears and tail. "Are you really a puppy pretending to be a fine beauty Shar?"

"Uh..." I mumbled blushing at his weird try at flirting. Logan walked in front of me and pushed me behind him as he glared at Gambit, being so close to Logan I could feel his heart burning with concern and jealousy.

"Back off Cajan..." the man simply chuckled under his breath and leaned away from Logan to wave at me.

"Can't wait to work with ya puppy." I had to hold Logan away before he could smash his fist into the man's jaw.

"Logan, focus please!" He took a huge breath and faked a smile.

"Sure thing pup… anything for you." Gambit scaled at his word for me and yelled at him.

"Hey that's my name for the boy!" it took two wolves to hold him back as he turned and growled at him.

"I've been calling him that for half a year Gumbo!" after a while of heated yelling from the two men we all split up in our two groups. My group headed to the North Pole in the X-jet while the others left to free the captured mutants. We flew in silence, Logan glared at Gambit, while he flirted with me the whole way there, for a while I just stared into his eyes, they were so captivating to me and I'm not sure why… they reminded me of something but I just couldn't place it. When he caught me staring I felt his heart give a pules of sadness.

"I know my eyes are a bit, frighting…" I shook my head immediately.

"No not at all! their really beautiful! I'm sorry for staring… they remind me of something, I just cant remember though." his eyes and heart lit up when I called his eyes beautiful.

"Perhaps you seen them in your dreams Shar?" The jet jerked when he said that and I looked into the cockpit to see Logan fuming. Gambit laughed and folded his arms looking from me to Logan with curiosity. "So you like older men then Shar? That's good to know..."

I chocked and blushed when he said that. I wanted so much to jump out of the jet right then but he winked at me and smirked when Logan blushed.

"I'm… going to go sit with Liam and Colossus!" I said jumping from my seat going into the next room to escape the two men. I closed the door only to feel the roaring emotions from inside. Anger, hate, love, lust, disappointment, and hopefulness all came from just two men. I sighed and took a breath noticing Liam talking to the muscled man. When he saw me Liam waved for me to sit with them. Liam seemed calmer, I still felt fear but it was jumbled up with other emotions, like… love? "So… how are you to getting along?"

"Great!" Said Liam, he blushed when he looked back at Colossus and I could feel a surge of conflicting emotions rushing in both their hearts. "Umm.. do you mind giving us a few minutes alone?"

"DON" T MAKE ME GO BACK!" I screamed shacking him as my face contorted in horror.

"OK OK Geez…" Colossus smiled and chuckled.

"I see Gambit has found a new love." I turned to him in tears. I cried into Liam's shoulder as he patted my back. I mumbled into his shoulder still audible but smothered a bit by his shirt.

"He keeps hitting on me and he's so nice and I don't know what to do and I think Logan is going to kill him if I don't tell him to stop and tell him I'm with Logan." Liam pulled me back and looked into my eyes shocked.

"Your with Logan!? What the heck!?" I glared at him and pointed to Colossus.

"Yeah well you were hitting on Rouge a while ago and now your hitting on a guy, what the heck yourself!" I blurted out on reflex. Colossus blushed and so did Liam.

"First I'm bi so it's not that weird and second he's your dad!" I grabbed his nose and pulled.

"DON'T JUDGE ME!" He tiered to pull back only for me to hold on as he struggled.

"OK OK I'll lay off, just let go of my nose!" I sighed and did just that, he rubbed his nose and I crumbled down in the seat. "Dam dude!"

"Besides its not like we ever did anything anyway… except kissing… and I drank some of his blood." he blushed and shouted out again.

"What!?" I grabbed his ears and pulled hard.

"WHAT DID I JUST SAY!?" I he yelped and apologized as Colossus laughed in his seat. I let go of his ears and opened the door to leave them in peace only to see Logan and Gambit still yelling at each other. I sighed and shook my head tired even though we haven't even landed yet. "This is going to be a long flight..."
