Chapter 47 our unfinished sibling rivalry part. 4

The explosion had died down as the area was in major disrepair, Parts of the celling were coming down as well as some pipes and shards of glass. Small fires were all over the place and some faint sparks of lightning were scattering about.

In the mist of the destroyed area was Ross, Ross was in bad shape. His dragon install form was totally destroyed, parts of the dragon armor were scattered about, His helmet was broken, His body armor was torn open exposing his chest that had shards of his armor and his previous wounds were now even worse than before, His legs weren't that bad but his right arm was broken in seven different places and he couldn't feel it anymore. His left arm was fine save for some scorch marks and a second degree burn, And his face now bore a large scar over his left eye and a few more scars that were on his chin, Right cheek, And forehead.

Ross slowly opened his left eye as he took in his surroundings, He looked at the destroyed area as he glanced over to see any signs of his older brother Reikokuna. However, He didn't see him anywhere making him assume that he had been defeated. Ross sighed in relief as he started to slowly get up, The pain that he was feeling didn't make it any better.

"Agh! Just take it easy Ross, You don't have to rush" he said to himself as he stood on his knees "Just clam down and relax your body, Take your time and you-". That's when a broken metal pipe struck him in the abdomen.

"Gah! Fuck!" He said in pain as he looked at the pipe that was sticking out of him, He then tried to pull it out only for another one to impale him in his right arm. "Dammit!" He said, he then heard someone walking as he glanced over to see that it was Reikokuna.

Reikokuna was badly hurt, His right eye was missing, He had third degree burns all over his body, He was missing his left arm and replaced it with a arm made of fire. And his legs were in bad shape.

"You son of a bitch! Look what you've done to me!" Reikokuna said in anger as he threw another broken pipe at Ross as it stabbed him in the right side of his chest. Ross gasped as he then coughed up his blood as he tired to pull out the pipe, As he was trying to remove the pipes Reikokuna then picked up his fireseal sword that was stuck in the ground as he held it up.

"That was real risky Ross, Creating a massive explosion to take us both out. You must really be in a hurry to die huh!?" He said, Ross was able to pull out the pipes that were in his body as he weakly grabbed the prototype katana and held it at Reikokuna.

"Yeah...it was risky, But it was the only thing that I could do as a last resort" Ross said, Reikokuna then started to laugh.

"Hehehaha, And that alone has failed you. Now Your just easy prey for me to destroy!" He said. Ross breathed heavily as some of his blood came out of his nose and mouth, He started to smile.

"I see that now" he said "Maybe...maybe I misjudged your abilities". Reikokuna just smiled at him wildly "Then how about it, Will lay down your hand in defeat?" He said. Ross then placed the katana at his right hip as he created his lightning blade.

"A hand eh? How bout I take yours!" He said, He then charged at him as he swiped at Reikokuna. Reikokuna dodged Ross's attack as he struck him in the arm making a scratch, Ross then swung at him again but his lightning blade was countered by Reikokuna's fireseal sword.

The two then clashed there weapons at high speeds hoping to get the other off guard, The two of them were equally matched in there attacks as neither of them were showing any signs of faltering. The two stopped as they backed up from each other.

"You're pretty good" Ross said, Reikokuna just snorted at him "I'm better than good" he said as he then ran at him.

"I'M PERFECT!".

Ross didn't move as he then placed his hand on the prototype katana that was on his right hip, He kept watching Reikokuna run after him as he go into his stance.

'Just a few more feet' he thought.

Reikokuna raised up his sword as he smiled at Ross "So long weakling!" He said as he brought down his weapon, That's when Ross pulled the sword from his side as he coated the sheath in lightning and dashed past his brother making a horizontal slash. Ross was a few feet from Reikokuna as he then spun the sword a few times before placing it at his side.

When the sword touched Ross's hip, Reikokuna then felt his lower half of his body start to come apart. He quickly looked down and was horrified to see what had just happened to him.

"What!? B-but...but this is impossible! You can't...you can't beat me! I'm perfect! I can't be defeated! I'm the ultimate experiment-gggaah!" He then looked down to see a sharp metal red blade then blade pierce his heart as he saw a blue stream of electricity surge around the blade. He glanced behind him to see Ross smirking at him.

"Guess your second best now Big brother" Ross said mockingly, Reikokuna gritted his teeth as he turned his body around and struck at him, Ross dodged his attack as he backed away a bit. Reikokuna smiled as he then launched his right arm at him as he stabbed his brother in the center of his chest with his fireseal sword.

"Gahhhhh!" Ross screamed in pain as he fell to the ground, Reikokuna smiled at his last attack as he fell to his knees.

"Hehe..hehe...I w-win..." He said before his body split into two as his upper body fell to the floor. Ross was starting to lose consciousness as he started to close his eyes, He looked over to see Reikokuna's lifeless body and smiled a bit.

"I-i did it..." He said before passing out, as he passed out he then heard footsteps coming over to him as he was then dragged off.
