I probably will add another chapter this weekend because these have been short, and not very good. Don't worry, Peter and Neal will meet again soon. Just bear with me!
Neal had to admit that spending the day with the random woman that had woken him up from sleeping on her doorstep wasn't that bad. Originally, he would have preferred to spend it heading over to Mozzie, but this was a nice second.
Elizabeth had used him as a pack mule for the first half of the day so she could set up her events. That apparently what she did for a living, planned events for people who couldn't plan their own. But she was good at it. In fact, good was an understatement.
At the first stop, the Empire State building, a business party was being set up for that night and a seriously OCD manager of the company who panicked about everything was supposed to be in charge. Elizabeth had smoothed everything out and calmed down the manager while Neal carried in countless boxes of decorations, then set them up.
The next stop had been Central Park. A wedding reception was taking place, and Elizabeth just needed to make sure everything ran smoothly. The morning reception was a hit, and Neal had been shuffled around to help wherever needed it.
The last stop was a surprise birthday party for some important rich guy. He was turning 50, and his 26-year-old wife wanted to throw him a surprise party. Elizabeth coordinated decorations while Neal struggled hauling large boxes up the stairs incase the guy came back early and took the elevator.
"Man, I can't believe your still on your feet after that last one." Elizabeth told him with a smile. They were sitting down at a fountain and eating hot dogs for lunch. Neal was practically inhaling them.
"I'm not, and I won't be able to get up for at least another year." Neal said smiling back. Even though he had been used as a pack mule all day, he had actually had some fun. Elizabeth had been so nice to him; it felt great just to be around her.
"Well, let me try to convince you to get up before the year." Elizabeth said. "I'm making spaghetti tonight, and could use an extra hand in the kitchen. Care to join me?"
"Yea! Sure!" Neal told her excitedly. All thoughts of getting back to Mozzie were out of his head as thoughts of a nice home cooked meal filled it.
Elizabeth smiled and got up, motioning Neal to follow her. They picked up the ingredients for dinner and made it back to a nice looking neighborhood by about three in the afternoon.
"Well, this is home." Elizabeth said as she opened to door. The outside of the house was a nice blue, and the interior was a perfect image of a home. There was a living room, kitchen around the corner, and a dining table. All looked so nice to Neal.
"It's nice." Neal commented, following Elizabeth to the kitchen to set down the ingredients.
"Well, we don't need to start cooking for a few hours yet. I usually don't start until late because my husband often works late." Elizabeth explained as she started to put away groceries. Neal nodded and stood around in the kitchen, awkwardly.
"Go sit on the couch. I'll join you in a few minutes. You must be tired after hauling all those boxes and stuff for me." Elizabeth ordered, noticing Neal's discomfort. Neal nodded and walked into the other room. Elizabeth finished a few minutes later and walked into the other room, where she found Neal passed out on the coach.
She smiled, then picked up a book a sat down in an armchair across from Neal. It was almost nice having a teenager in the house, well, a polite one anyways.

The search was going nowhere. Peter was getting another headache, and agents were starting to toss in the towel. They had other cases to be working on and didn't have time to search for a runaway kid on the streets of New York, and who knew how many where there.
Peter had sent Diana and Jones home early; it wasn't going to help anything with them there. They had the computer geeks hacking every camera they could find, and they weren't really doing anything else.
Peter glanced at the clock. It was only five, but still earlier than he usually went home. He had better let El know. Peter picked up his phone and dialed the speed number.
"Hello?" Elizabeth's voice came out from the other end as a whisper.
"Hey hun, its me." Peter said with a smile. Just a hearing her voice put a smile on his face.
"Oh hey honey. Just one moment." Elizabeth whispered back. He could hear her opening a door and stepping outside. "What's up?"
"Nothing much." Peter answered, a little confused about why she had to move. "The search is going nowhere, so I was thinking of coming home early. That okay with you?"
"Of course!" Elizabeth said in a normal tone on the other end. She sounded happy. "I'll get started on dinner right away. And just so you know, we are having someone join us for dinner."
"Okay hun. I'll be home in a little bit." Peter said, smiling at the thought of seeing his lovely wife's smile.
"Love you." Elizabeth said.
"You too." And the call disconnected. Peter slipped on his jacket, placed the phone in his pocket and started to head out the door.
It was going to be a good night for him.
IM SORRY! I PROMISED YESTERDAY BUT I HAD THE ACT TODAY SO MY MOM TOOK MY COMPUTER SO I COULD STUDY! I could have stolen it back, but I really did need to study. Here it is, and if I have time tomorrow ill post the next one. Neal and Peter will definitely meet up in the next one. Authors honor! Although, authors say that about not killing a character, and then they do.
