Vivi tapped her fingernails against the scrying bowl, the tic spreading little waves through the water.
Then her fingers stilled. Ripples continued to form when a tinny voice vibrated from the dish. "This is the Immortal Bookshop. To which supernatural am I addressing?"
"The Witch Princess."
"The Greek myth, blonde, or frog?"
"Say frog again and you'll find out," Vivi snapped.
"M-my apologies, Princess. I, um, just got a new shipment of your favorite spell books, if you—"
"No. I have something different in mind."
"What specifically?"
"Do you have," Vivi's voice dropped to a mumble, "Dating for Dummies?"
