"Since when do you wear hearts?" Vivi asked, referring to the pendant hanging on a gold chain around Bridget's neck.
"Oh, this?" Bridget grasped the pendant, two outlines of hearts overlapping, in such an angle so the embedded rubies sparkled like drops of blood. "Jack gave it to me. Usually I find anything so lovey-dovey disgusting, but this was to celebrate a special occasion." Her eyes glinted wickedly when she smirked. "It was the first time Jack and I made—"
Without warning, Vivi snapped her fingers and vanished, leaving only smoke where she had sat.
