Hey guys, what's up! I've been reading the manga and it's pretty good so I'm so glad I made the decision to expand it. Right now, we're on chapter 37 so if you wanted to know, that's where we're at. Of course it will be my original way of putting it but it shouldn't be that different. Anyway, I've had so much crap with school that I haven't gotten the chance to type or anything. So,please give this story a review and if you guys hit the 100 review mark that would be fucking awesome! Thanks for reading this story and here's the chapter!
Ch. 37
I told him nothing was wrong right now but that was a huge lie. I felt guilty as I laid my cheek in the crook of his neck. He smiled and wrapped his arms around me lovingly. I sighed as I turned into him and closed my eyes. Something told me Eren was staring at me and I opened my eyes to find out that that was true. His bright-colored eyes shined on me for a second before I decided to ask him why he was staring.
"Why are you staring at me Eren?"
I giggled. He smiled slightly and shrugged.
"Because you're beautiful...and I still think there's something wrong. It's like a Titan's sense or something so tell me."
He said, his face getting a little bit more serious than a few seconds before. My green eyes met his and then looked away again. He gave me an expecting look and I couldn't keep it from him any longer.
"Eren...they said Wall Rose was breached..."
I said slowly and softly. His eyes went wide and he sat up. I was surprised that he didn't get mad at me for the not telling him.
"Robina! We have to go help them!"
He yelled as he began putting on his shoes. I put my hand on his wrist and he stopped to look at me.
"Eren, you don't have to jump into every battle just because there is one. I think we should stay here until they need us."
I said; trying to convince him to stay in the cozy room. His eyes were filled with worry and his shoulders relaxed.
"B-but Robina..."
"You two!"
I jumped into Eren's arms and we both looked at the door to see Hanji there. She was throwing a rock in the air and catching it every few seconds as she talked to us.
"Come on, I'm sure you've heard the news. We got to go."
She said. Eren and I looked at each other weirdly since she wasn't yelling like she usually would.
"Well...I guess that's our call."
I whispered to him as he helped us up from the floor.
"I guess so...you ready?"
He whispered back to me. I nodded and Hanji moved out of the doorway so Eren and I could get into the hall. I stopped and gasped when I saw who was out there. The first two people I saw were Armin and Mikasa, which wasn't a problem, but then I saw him. Pastor Nick. He saw me and his facial expression turned into a frightened one. It turned into an even more scared expression when he saw Eren.
"T-this son of a bitch..."
Eren whispered as he leaned in next to my ear. I nodded in irritation and Pastor Nick seemed to notice my mood since he didn't dare to say anything to me. I turned to Hanji as we walked out of the building. I was surprised to find Levi waiting for us while tapping his foot.
"So where are we going?"
I asked Hanji.
"We're going to investigate the appearance of the Titans within Wall Rose."
Was all she said before the seven of us got into a wagon cart. Pastor Nick, Hanji, and Levi sat on one side while the the four of we teens sat on the other. The man driving us made the horse start walking and we were on our way to Wall Rose. I slipped my hand in Eren's hand as we rode. He stared at his lap ever since we started the journey to the wall and I was worried about him. Mikasa was as well because she gave me the same look I had on myself.
"Now that Wall Rose has been breached...I don't even know what to do anymore..."
Armin murmured to himself. I looked at him and gave my attention to him. He's been acting weird ever since we captured Annie. He looked up from his hands and glared at Pastor Nick.
"And why do we have a priest from the wall cult with us?"
He asked Hanji. Pastor Nick glanced at her for a response and she smiled as if she was about to tell a joke. She slung her arm around him and laughed.
"Well, you see, we're friends with Nick now. He knew about the Titans in the wall and..."
I cut her off.
"But he hasn't told us a damn thing. Apparently, the members of your sect know a lot more about the wall than we do. And you know what I find funny? The fact that you keep your fucking mouth shut right when we want you to talk."
I said with a snarl. Eren's eyes went wide at his first hearing of this and he stood up.
"What the hell!? You know!?"
He started to yell but Mikasa and I pulled him back down before he could continue any further. I put my hand to his chest to feel his heartbeat fastened a bit.
"Eren, take it easy for now. Okay?"
I said to him. He slowly nodded but I knew he didn't want to take it easy; that's for sure. Hanji cleared her throat and resumed explaining the situation.
"I was going to ask some other people in the same sect but he said he wanted to come along with us. After all he's seen, he's been having doubts about still following the rules. So he wants to see the real state of affairs with his own eyes."
She finished. All of our eyes went wide as we turned our heads toward him. Eren squeezed my hand and leaned forward.
"Wait, if you know something just tell us! What can be more important than saving humanity?"
I put my hand to my mouth in thought and expressed it.
"Unless...there's something more important than even that..."
Levi grunted and I jumped because he hadn't said anything the whole ride. His serious-looking eyes looked at the Pastor before he looked at his jacket.
"He has guts; however, I don't think anyone else from your little group would have the balls to come with us and not talk. But...there are ways you can make someone talk..."
He said as I saw him pull out a pistol from his jacket pocket slightly. I looked at it weirdly before looking at my boot. There was only one gun in my pair of boots so he must have took the other one...sneaky bastard...
"...I may be useless in combat right now, but for fuck's sake, don't do anything that might result in opening holes in your body...Hanji...I've noticed you like playing with rocks. Is that a new hobby or something?"
She stopped throwing the rock in the air and shrugged.
"It's a piece from the Female Titan's hardened skin. It had broke off and stayed in tact. Isn't that just bizarre!?"
She exclaimed with discovery. I leaned forward next to Eren as she continued.
"...I compared it with the fragments off the wall and they both were really similar. Which means that the wall itself was made by the colossal-type Titans who became its supporting pillars."
I turned to Levi as I remembered what he said about the Titans creating the walls. It seemed so impossible but now it seemed realistic when she explained it. Hanji got excited and started jumping in her seat.
"So since there aren't any boulders big enough to plug in Wall Rose. Maybe Eren can use his Titan abilities to plug in the breach by hardening his body. You can do it Eren! The material is almost identical so it should work better than the boulder did back in Trost!"
Eren sat there thinking and Armin answered for him.
"I think it's worth the risk...and if we could do that repeatedly, then we might just be able to take Wall Maria back!"
He yelled as we passed an abandoned cabin. I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned back.
"If we had a small group of elites and Eren in his Titan form, as well as a route to the Shiganshina district, we could make it all the way to Wall Maria faster than we ever could with these carts and wagons."
I said. I was just kidding but the others seemed like I was being legit. I turned my head to our surroundings to hear some of the crickets clicking. Other than that, all you could hear was the soft emission of the flames from the torches around us. Armin gave his 'thinking' face next to me and I was just waiting for a genius plan to come from his mouth.
"How about we carry out that outside-the-wall operation at night?"
We tilted our head at him and let him finish.
"Titans can't move at night! I know that a torch light wouldn't be strong enough for you to run at full speed but even if you went slow you could still maybe make it to Wall Maria by dawn."
"Eren..."
I said as I looked into his beautiful eyes.
"Do you think you could plug in that breach?"
He stared at me for a second before smirking slightly and nodding.
"It's not really my decision. I HAVE to plug in that breach. So I'll do anything I must to succeed."
He said with determination. I think that's my favorite word now, determination, and it's all Eren's fault. I couldn't help but see Levi smirking in admiration out of the corner of my eye. If Eren hadn't said that, Levi probably would have. Eren took out the key that was attached to his neck and stared at it.
"Maybe then I can solve the secret about myself..."
He murmured to himself. He then looked at me and smiled slightly; as if he wanted to reassure me everything was okay. He gently rubbed my stomach and I smiled because a baby would be there in a few months. If we can succeed in our planning, then I won't have to worry about mine and Eren's baby. I would much rather it be in a safe innocent environment where I could take care of it. And Levi has pretty much said that he would take care of it as well. I put my hand over Eren's hand that was on my stomach and laid my head on his shoulder. Mikasa stared at our hands and her eyes started to water. I glanced at her and whispered.
"Are you okay?"
She sniffed and nodded.
"Is that what I think it is?"
She said as she nodded her head at my stomach. I smiled softly and nodded.
"I'm so happy for you two."
She whispered as she patted my back. Levi stood up in the cart and looked at us.
"Well we're almost in the Ehrmich District. This is as far as the Pastor and I can go with you. Armin, keep up the ideas with Hanji like you did on our way here."
"Y-yes sir!"
Armin stuttered out of nervousness. Levi turned to me and nodded.
"Robina and Mikasa, make sure you protect Eren with your life. Don't lose your control though. We don't want another life to be lost."
He said to me as he hinted at the baby. I nodded while Mikasa said the usual 'yes sir!' He and Pastor Nick got off the cart while the rest of us moved a little bit further and stopped at a small scout camp. The five of us got out of the cart and walked over to the small fireplace that the scouts had built. Hanji walked over to us and pushed her goggles closer to her eyes.
"The land beyond is Titan territory. You think you can ride on a horse Eren?"
She asked him. He nodded.
"Yeah, I'm better and more or less back to normal."
Hanji gave an understood countenance but stopped when she saw Levi and Pastor Nick walk over to us. I think they got off a little earlier then us so Nick could see all of the refugees in the town. The horrific scene might just change his mind about telling us any information.
"Did you perhaps have a change in heart?"
She asked him. He just stood there silent. She cursed under her breath and started yelling at him.
"There is no time left! Do you realize that!? Just fucking decide whether you're gonna talk to us or not!"
She screamed. He sighed and shook his head.
"I cannot tell you anything. I believe the others won't as well..."
I took Eren and we walked around the corner.
"I'm sorry, I can't stand to hear them yelling at each other."
I said softly.
"I know what you mean. It's just fucking annoying. So...how are you feeling right now?"
He asked me with a worried look. I tilted my head at him.
"What do you mean?"
"Well since you're pregnant, don't you feel weird or something?"
He asked. I giggled and shook my head.
"Eren...that comes later, I feel fine right now. Although, I'm surprised I haven't felt nauseous yet."
He gave me a look that said 'I'm such a dumbass' and lowered his head while I giggled some more. Mikasa came from the corner and waved her hand at us.
"Come here you two. You might want to hear this."
She said. Eren and I looked at each other before nodding and following her back to Hanji and Pastor Nick.
"There was a girl that had to go under an assumed name a few years ago. She just might know something about the wall. I heard she joined the scouting legion this year. Her name is...Krista..."
He said after thinking about it. My eyes went wide and I knew the other's eyes did as well. Krista!? Sweet, innocent, kind Krista that spoke so softly you had to ask her to repeat herself!?
"H-her of all people?"
Eren asked.
"Go find her. She will decide if she will tell you what she knows. However, I cannot give you her real name."
He finally said. Hanji shook her head and closed her eyes.
"If she's with the 104th training squad...that means she's on front lines right now..."
Eren grabbed my hand and we started to walk away.
"Well come on, let's hurry!"
He said. Hanji gasped and stepped forward.
"But I still don't know the names of all of the new members..."
I turned to her and told her what Krista looked like.
"She's a small girl, has long blind hair, and she's the girl who always hangs around Ymir."
Was all I could say to her as we walked away. She readjusted her goggles and sighed.
"Well then...let's go get her..."
And that is the end of the chapter! I thought it was pretty cool that my chapter lines up with the actual manga chapter so now I will try to keep it that way instead of splitting a manga chapter into two of my chapters like I would for an anime episode. Which means that the chapters might he a little bit longer so that.s good :D alright guys, please give this story a review and comment as much as you can! Your reviews and comments help me so much and make me want to write as soon as I get home from school so please do it lol. Thanks for reading I will see you next time guys! :D
