Hey guys! How's it going!? Well I've been very busy with school and crap but I somehow manage to write chapters for three stories in 1 week or close to that. God I'm tired, please help me! No I'm kidding but I am tired. This chapter will focus a little bit on Connie because a reviewer wanted me to do that so I will! :D By the way thanks to anyone who has reviewed so far; I want to reach 100 so please review and comment to give me ideas or just to tell me something. Your words are awesome! Anyway, thanks for giving the story a read so far and here is the chapter!

Ch. 38

My vision was black for a second before I opened them to see a bit of light coming from the sky. The sun was almost down and the torches would soon need to be lit. The sky made colors of red and orange that mixed in together well with the surroundings on the ground. I wiped my green eyes and shook my head to get the dizziness out of my head. It seemed like I was actually here; my body felt the ground underneath me as well as the slight breeze that passed through my healthy lungs.

"W-where am I?"

I murmured to myself; even though there was nobody around me. It was an open field but covered with a few houses here and there. But something didn't seem right. The green leaf trees around me were dented. More than dented, more like snapped in half by an impregnable force.

"Were Titans just here?"

I found myself asking that same question every few seconds as I inspected the broken pieces of nature. Leaves were ripped and squirrels stared at their homes in despair. I almost felt sorry for them because we humans knew what a destroyed home looked like; but I didn't because those little bastards are annoying as hell!

"Wait Connie! Stop!"

Turning around to face the voice I heard from behind, I saw Connie ride past me on his horse. I gasped slightly and an invisible force kicked my legs in gear. My right foot bursted forward as I ran beside Connie and his horse. Where was he going? I didn't know but it seemed important by the expression on his face.

"I'm back!"

He suddenly yelled as we stopped in front of a multitude of buildings. Many of them were crushed or destroyed. Some were blazing in fire and a couple of them stood untouched. I stood beside Connie and stared at him. He did not seem to notice I was there because it was like he was looking through me. His face was frantic and panicky in a sense. He walked through me and cupped his hands around his mouth.

"It's me Connie! Where are you! I'm Home!"

He yelled as he walked through the tiny village. I couldn't help but follow him by his body and the sound of his voice. His eyes darted from left to right every couple of seconds and his voice cracked every time he spoke. He stopped and I gasped when I saw what he was looking at. There was a huge Titan that was laying in a tiny house. It's arms and legs flung out of the edges as it laid there. It wasn't a very big Titan but it took up the whole house.

"What the fuck? The Titan's limbs are damaged enough to where it can't move. So...how did it get here?"

Connie asked as he looked at the thing.

"Mom...Dad..."

He whispered as his eyes began to water. I wanted to put my arm around him and tell him that it was alright but all I could do was stand here. It's a horrible feeling when you can't comfort a friend in need. If I tried, my arm would just go through him like I was some kind of ghost or something.

"Connie! Any survivors!?"

Reiner screamed in question as he galloped up to us. He hopped off his horse and his eyes widened at the sight.

"No survivors...It's gone...My home...My family...all of them just...gone..."

Connie murmured as he wiped some tears that had escaped his eyes. Reiner's eyes watered as well and he shook his head as if he was denying it all. This was killing me right now. Back in the cadet training camp, I was kind of like the counselor for the trainees. Usually it was girls that needed help with their periods and what not, but there was always a couple of guys that just needed to talk. It always seemed that guys held in their emotions but when they told somebody about their problems, they just let it all out. But now I could not help them; hell, I don't even know why the fuck I'm here right now. One second I was on my way to find Krista, then another I'm here with Connie and Reiner.

"Hey!"

We turned when a couple of soldiers ran up to us. One girl acted as if everything was okay and tried to come up with the best possible scenario for the situation at hand.

"I know what happened! No one died here! If someone died there would have been blood and guts and sweat and body parts everywhere right!?"

She was practically ranting on and on.

"...so since there's none of that, no one died. That just has to be right! Everybody escaped safely a few hours ago so there's no need to worry!"

She said with the most cheerful face she could muster. Connie slowly began to believe her and he nodded. He and Reiner sighed as they walked around the Titan-covered house. I was about to follow them but stopped to listen when I heard the two soldiers whispering to each other.

"That might be the case, but then again, it might not. There's no way a Titan would go out of their way to destroy these houses as much as they did. Just look at them, some are completely destroyed while others are barely standing. If I remember correctly, Titans don't kill houses, they kill people..."

The soldier said with his hand to his chin and a face of thought. The female soldier nodded after some consideration and sighed under her breath.

"And the horses are still here. I hardly believe that the people on foot, even if they were running, could get away from the on-coming Titans. The chances would be very slim...Well we don't need those two down in the dumps while we're on our journey to the wall..."

She said to the male soldier. He nodded in agreement.

"Yes, I agree. We have enough torches now since the sun is going down soon. We better get going."

He stopped and turned to Connie and Reiner; who had still been looking at the tiny Titan sitting in the small house.

"...Alright you two, it's time to head out. We have to travel to the wall and find the breach in it."

They nodded and got on their horses. Being the curious person I was, I hopped onto Connie's horse behind him and waited for the ride. I have no idea how I didn't just fall through the horse and on my ass but whatever. Everything about this is fucked up so why question it? Our horse snorted and began to run but Connie suddenly stopped him and stared at the Titan looking at us. I looked at it, then at him. It was as if they were talking to each other mentally.

"Connie come on! Let's go!"

Reiner yelled. Connie jerked in his saddle and scared the shit out of me as the horse started sprinting to the other horses. I wiped some hair that had blown in my eyes and got ready for the ride ahead. I didn't know where we were going and I didn't know how to get out of here. I wonder what Eren and Hanji are thinking right now? I'm probably like killed over on my horse or something. Ugh...The sun went down faster than everyone thought it would so the darkness of the night was quick to cover us.

"Alright, light the torches!"

One of the soldiers said. The torches were lit but the light of it was only enough for you to see a few feet in front of you. When I say dark, I mean it was fucking DARK! I was grateful that Titans couldn't move in the dark. If they could, we would've been screwed and I would have nightmares for weeks. My imagination had to be so crazy that I kept thinking there was a Titan around us. Of course I wouldn't have been hurt, but the others would.

"What the hell?"

I looked up to see the light of a few torches ahead. The lights came closer and closer until I saw who it was. It was the squad with Ymir and Krista in it! I felt my heartbeat quicken with the discovery and I was itching to get off the horse and go up to her.

"We've been running along the wall and we didn't find any breaches from this side...So it has to be on the side you were coming from..."

Their squad leader said to ours. Our squad leader sighed and shook his head.

"We didn't find any either...impossible...damn it! If only we had some moonlight to help us."

He said with a grunt. It was like the moon was listening to him because some of its light revealed itself in the distance beyond us. The sudden light hit the corner of our eyes and we turned to see a large dark structure maybe a mile away. To me, it looked like a large castle but it was really too dark to identify it from where we were at.

"What is that?"

"Looks like the ruins of a castle..."

The soldiers said to each other. God I hate not being able to talk to anybody; it's very annoying.

"We should check it out. Maybe we can rest there for a little while before the sun comes back up again."

Our squad leader said as we turned our horses in the castle's direction. We ran all the way to the ruins and I decided to hop off the horse since they were probably going to rest here. Krista did as well and walked past me. I launched my arm to grab hers but it just went through like it had with Connie. I sighed and turned to the entrance of the castle. It looked as if somebody had already been here before us and made it their stronghold. There was a fire burning and everything.

"Hmm...Castle of Utgard..."

I said as I read off the door plate of the entrance. Utgard? I never knew there was a castle so close to the wall. Then again, I've never been here before. I walked inside with the others to find a large staircase that led to the roof I think. Connie, Krista, Ymir, and Reiner sat at the bottom of it and began talking amongst themselves. I kind of felt left out but in reality I wasn't really there at all.

"Get a good rest rookies. The Titans will be able to move at sunrise so we will head out four hours before then."

A soldier said to them as he started up the stairs.

"Four hours before?"

Krista asked him. He nodded and left the group there as he made his way up the long staircase. I turned to the group but they quickly disappeared into blackness. I jumped and my head went straight up to the sky when I did. Eren was riding along side me and was rubbing my back.

"You okay?"

He asked me. I nodded slowly and rubbed my eyes. I had another vision but this one felt like I was actually there instead of just seeing random images. I turned to look at the others and they showed signs of worry as they stared at me. Eren put his hand in mine and tilted his head. Can I just say these horses run in perfect sync with each other!?

"What did you see this time?"

He asked me softly. I thought about it for a second before my eyes went wide.

"I know where Connie, Reiner, Ymir, and Krista are!"

I said. Hanji gasped and rode up beside me.

"Where? Where are they!?"

I took a moment to take a deep breath before telling her.

"The castle...The castle of Utgard...They were resting there and surveying the wall. Do you know where that is?"

I asked her quickly. She smiled and nodded.

"The castle is southwest from here. If they really are there, than this situation will be much easier than I expected. Alright, we're heading to Castle Utgard!"

She yelled as we increased our speed to the southwest. I just hope they're still alive when we get there...

And that is the end of the chapter! Yep, I finished chapter 38 I think which is awesome because I haven't had much time to write. But since I have internet this week I can probably get a chapter out faster. Robina's visions are getting more and more advanced every time she has them but why does she have them!? Hell I don't even know! Oh wait, yes I do nevermind lol. Anyway, please give this chapter and story a review to get that 100 review! Whoever gets the 100th review, I will make sure you are noticed for doing that lol and will promote your stories or account in my chapters. Unless you don't want me too...Finally, thanks for reading and I'll see you guys next time! AND OVER 100K WORDS! YAY!
