Hey guys! Who is ready for another chapter of Attack on Titan? Heck, I still need to read the manga chapter for this chapter lol. It helps me create a different version of what happens in the canon. Thank you guys for all of your support for the past couple of weeks since I have been busy. It was my spring break and Easter so you know how that turned out haha. Ch. 40

Historia. That was her name; her real name. I wanted to just sit her down and talk about it, but Ymir looked pretty beaten up. Speaking of Ymir, who would've thought that she was a Titan, just like Eren and Annie. However, her Titan form seemed to be different from the others. It seemed like each person who could transform into a Titan had their own unique ability.

"Hey, you feeling okay?"

I brought my head up to see Eren staring at me. I looked around to see the soldiers taking care of the other cadets and hoisting Ymir onto a bed sheet. Eren's eyes continued to look at me and I waved him off.

"Of course, I was just thinking about something..."

I said. He narrowed his eyes at me in suspicion, but simply shrugged after a few seconds. It was kind of funny in the way that he was looking at me. I giggled when he tilted his head at me and I leaned in to kiss him. He did as well, but I stopped when I realized something.

"W-what's wrong?"

He asked me. I shook my head and walked away, leaving him bewildered. I remembered that I had thrown up a couple of hours ago and I still had that horrible taste in my mouth. I don't know why, but I started searching the ground for something. Anything, to make my breath and taste just a little bit better. Let me tell you, there was absolutely nothing I could use! Nothing! I began to panic too, because I don't know I just wanted to kiss Eren! I have needs just like any other girl okay!

"Hey..."

Someone tapped my shoulder and I turned around to see Eren smiling at me. I looked down to see that he had a mint leaf in his hand and he gave it to me. I stared at it with big eyes before giving him a huge loving hug.

"How the hell did you get this?"

I asked. He smirked and pointed at Connie.

"I asked him for anything and he said that they didn't find much in that castle, but they did find mint leaves. Isn't that what you were looking for?"

He asked me. I laughed a little and nodded as I started to nibble on the leaf. It immediately filled my mouth with freshness and my nervousness went away. He gave me a loving look as I nibbled on the leaf and slipped his hand in mine.

"How do you always seem to know what I'm looking for?"

I asked.

"I guess my love for you is so strong that I can read your thoughts...I'm just kidding, I have no fucking idea haha."

He laughed. I giggled and kissed him deeply. He smiled in the kiss to let me know that the mint leaf worked. Thank God! I separated from him and looked at the ground again; my smile fading a bit.

"So, what do you think about Ymir being a Titan. I mean, who would've thought that she was just like you and Annie?"

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath of the cool air from the small wind.

"Kind of makes me think...who else can transform into a Titan? Robina, I've been having these small visions and dreams about my Dad..."

I looked at him as he talked and he continued.

"It's like some kind of memory to me...He had this syringe and he injected me with something in the forest. I can't say for sure what it was, but it still makes me think about it, you know?"

I nodded in understanding. It was like he was talking about one of my visions but this one seemed to be a memory. How weird it is that his Dad would do something like that. It looked like we were done with that topic so I started a new one. I brought my body closer to his, as if I was giving him a hug, and laid my head on his shoulders. He didn't seem to mind of course.

"And what about Krista...I mean Historia? She looks innocent on the outside but all of that information that Nick told us says otherwise. She knows something that we don't, and I'm willing to find out what it is."

Eren grunted in response and looked up in thought.

"There are so many unanswered questions right now. I guess we'll just have to find the answers to them, one by one."

He said. I wanted to say more, but I didn't when I found that the wall was in front of us. I didn't even notice that we were headed this way from the castle. I let go of Eren's hand and nodded at him. He nodded as well as we both shot ourselves up the gigantic wall. Once up, we saw that they were raising Ymir's lifeless body up in that same bed sheet from before. A soldier next to us looked grimly at her and started speaking.

"Poor girl, don't you think?"

Eren glanced at him, nodded, then looked back at Ymir.

"How is she?"

"Well her right arm and leg are bitten off so that's obviously not good. Her insides are also like a scrambled egg more than anything else. If she was normal person, she would probably already be dead by now."

Eren looked down and put his hand in mine again.

"Normal, huh...?"

A few feet away, the soldiers had completely lifted Ymir on the wall and she was now laying on the concrete. Hanji had been talking to Historia by then and they were both walking over to Ymir's lifeless body. I sighed quietly, but gasped when I saw a hand rush itself on the edge of the wall.

"C-could you fucking help me before I fall on my ass?"

I recognized Reiner's voice instantly and ran over to help him up. Eren had to help me since Reiner was heavy as hell!

"Damn, how much do you weigh!? And what happened to your arm?"

I asked as I pointed to his arm. There was a cast holding it up and blood was nearly dripping out of it. He looked at his wounded arm before growling at himself.

"A stupid Titan got his mouth on it. Damn bastard..."

He said as he sat down. I went to sit next to him as Eren helped Armin up from the wall. Did they lag behind us when we were making our way over here?

"Does it hurt?"

I asked him softly. He shrugged at my question.

"I guess I'll be alright. You know, I chose to be a soldier when I got into the cadet training camp. I listened to everything you said and made sure that I was doing it right..."

I laughed a little and tilted my head up while remembering those days.

"You were one of the best for that reason alone. So what's your point?"

"Well, I'm sorry to break it to you, but I don't think I can survive much longer like this. I'm just pushing my limit until I go to wherever you go when you die. Hopefully I was good enough to go to a nice place..."

He trailed off. Eren rolled his eyes and punched his arm playfully.

"Come on, don't talk like that when you're so young still. Besides, no use in just bitching about it now. Look at me, I should've died at least a dozen times by now, but Robina was always there to save me."

He said as he kissed me. Only Eren could joke about his near-death experiences. Armin scolded him after so I didn't have too. Which was fine with me because I never liked to get mad at Eren for something. If I did, he always made this puppy-look of depression that killed me every time. It was quite effective since I always ended up hugging and kissing him in the end. Ugh, I know for certain it's those eyes of his...

"You would've thought there would be a horde of Titans around..."

I turned around at the sound of Mikasa's voice and nodded as I stood up.

Yes well, it's better to have no Titans than a horde of them. Although you're right, it is unusual that there are none to be seen right now. The sun is out and about so we should see at least one trying to get inside. Any word on a breach in the wall?"

I asked as we looked at the light-blue sky. She gave me a look and then crossed her arms.

"Well it seems that we have reports that there are no breaches along the wall. One of the soldiers from the stationary vanguard explored the wall from the Trost District to the Chlorba District and said he didn't see any breaches. So Hanji said we're going to have to call off this operation since there seems to be no reason to have it. What the hell is going on? We had reports that there were Titans inside the wall..."

she muttered to herself. I didn't have an answer for her so I just nodded and tried to change the subject.

"So what does Hanji want us to do now? If there is no breach than we shouldn't be looking for one anymore..."

"She said that we should focus on getting Ymir back to the Trost district so that she can get quality medical treatment. It fucking pisses me off that we came all of this way to not even do anything. Sure, we found Historia and all, but I still felt like we could've done more."

I giggled and began to rub Eren's shoulders, which were right in front of me, for the fun of it. He sighed in relief and his muscles relaxed under my touch. He still felt tense from his fight with Annie.

"You always feel like you should do more because you're an over-achiever. Just wait for Hanji's command for now, and soon enough you will get your wish."

I told her. Eren's hand rubbed mine as I massaged his shoulders and I smiled sweetly. I leaned over his shoulder and pecked his cheek just because I felt like it. I might as well give him as many kisses as I can while I'm alive. Bertolt and Reiner kept staring at us and Eren looked at them suspiciously.

"What?"

He asked them. Reiner sighed and took us by the arm to a spot where no one was around. Apparently, he needed to tell us something important.

"We need to tell you something..."

He paused for a deep breath.

"...Five years ago, the both of us attacked the wall to destroy humanity...I'm the Armored Titan and Bertolt's the Colossal Titan..."

My eyes went wide at his words. I stared at him and he nodded once again to confirm his words. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. How could they even...God it feels like everything doesn't make sense anymore! But if what they were saying was true, then...These two guys, my former students and my good friends...They were the Colossal and Armored Titan...

And that is the end of the chapter! I read the manga chapter and they literally just tell Eren who they are. I was like, "what the hell!?" Lol. And Eren doesn't even seem surprised or anything, but I guess he just doesn't get surprised anymore. :D Anyway, please give this story a review or comment and I will be so happy!
