Hey guys, it's another chapter of The Commander's Daughter! I hope you guys have liked the chapters in the past because I certainly have lol. Anyway, I read the chapters of the manga just now and it's getting pretty good. The material, however, isn't detailed enough to where I could put one manga chapter into one of my own chapters. So the chapter might dig into multiple manga chapters at once. I'm sure you don't mind, but I just wanted to let you know that. Please post your own special review or comment for the story and tell me what you think of it. I'm proud of all of you for surpassing the '100 review' mark. :D Thanks for reading and here is the chapter.

Ch. 41

I stared at the two guys for a second before actually blinking. Their expressions were as serious as they could make them. But it couldn't have been true could it? Reiner had said that he was the Armored Titan and that Bertolt was the Colossal Titan. For as long as I've known them, they had to be joking. Reiner had always been a strong man, but he was full of love and humor. He often asked me for advice about women and how he should ask one out; especially Historia. I did my best with being a girl and all but we always ended up joking about something. Bertolt was no different. He was always the one to ask me how to get stronger and tougher. It was funny to ask me this because I used to be weak and I was also a girl. A guy asking a girl how to be tough was comedic in the least. So knowing these two boys for nearly four years, I hoped they were kidding.

"What are you saying Reiner? That's the craziest thing you've ever said..."

I said while nervously laughing quietly. Bertolt seemed to be on the same page as me and nodded as he rested his hand on Reiner's shoulder.

"Robina's right. What are you saying all of a sudden?"

He asked. Reiner swiped his hand away and his face grew grim.

"Our objective was to wipe out all of the humans within the wall. But there isn't a reason to do that anymore...Come with us Eren. We can just leave right now. You get what I'm saying?"

The blond-haired boy said. Eren's eyebrows turned downward, almost if he was glaring, and stepped forward.

"No Reiner, I don't know what you mean...In fact, I have no idea what the you're talking about right now."

He said, almost gritting his teeth at the end.

"I'm sorry it's so sudden, but we have to leave now. You, me, and bertolt have to go now."

Reiner said to Eren. Eren's eyes shook like mine did. What was even going on!? Were these two just crazy or were they actually serious about all of this. Eren looked at me and put his hand in mine.

"What? Now? I can't just leave Robina behind...I mean...I love her and she's...she's expecting..."

Eren trailed off. Reiner's eyes went wide as he looked at me and then down at my belly. His eyes stared at me for a few seconds before he closed them and crossed his arms.

"It wouldn't hurt to have her come with us. She's trustworthy and skillful but I don't know about raising a baby...Don't you have visions?"

He asked me. Ignoring the question, Eren and I shared some serious glances before he shook his head.

"That's not important. Reiner you're just tired is all. You're tired from not getting any sleep for the past couple of days. You probably don't even know what you're saying."

Eren said with a concerned look. Bertolt, again, agreed with Eren and I on the situation.

"He's right. Yes! You're simply just tired!"

It seemed like we were in an on-going cycle of things. Reiner would say something, Eren and I would disagree, and then Bertolt would copy us and then it would go all over again. Reiner was frowning right now and his eyes were moving to all three of us frantically. Was he going crazy right now? I forcibly grabbed his collar and began pulling him to a place where we could talk to each other alone. Eren raised his hands up in defense and backed up.

"Oh shit, you're in for it now..."

He murmured. I rolled my eyes and let go of Reiner's collar when I deemed us alone. Eren, bertolt, and the others were in the background of where we were at, but there wasn't any way they could hear us. Letting go of his collar, Reiner stumbled back a few steps and growled lowly. Probably because I just "girl-handled" him. I laid my hands on my hips and stared at him.

"Just what the hell are you thinking right now? Are you tired? Are you sick? Here, let me feel your forehead..."

I said as I touched his forehead softly. It felt warm but not in an overbearing way. He completely ignored my questions and kept his eyes glued to the cement of the wall we were standing on.

"Reiner?"

"I didn't know you were expecting a baby...I mean, I figured you and Eren would get together and become a couple, but I never imagined you to be pregnant with his baby. Life just isn't fair is it? For the living and the non-living and even the soon-to-be living..."

He said quietly while staring at his wounded arm that was held up in a cast. He sounded almost depressed at the moment, but I had no idea why. This wasn't like Reiner to just act so weird at a serious time like this. We stood there in silence for a few seconds. I noticed that Eren was still keeping his eye on us the whole time; just in case something bad happened. Swallowing, I cleared my throat and asked him another question.

"Reiner, why are you even asking that? You never answered the question I asked before all of this. I don't need to lock you up in chains for insanity do I?"

I joked, or at least tried to ease the growing tension. He, again, was staring at his arm and talking like he didn't hear me.

"I heard that Armin and Krista...I mean Historia...are together...I thought she would be my wife one day, but I guess I was wrong about that too. I can't even believe I asked you and Eren to come with us. It was such a stupid question. It seems kind of worthless anyways. I should have known the obvious answer that you two would give me...and I'm going to beat Bertolt's ass for resisting it..."

Can I just say that I was getting kind of scared right now. His voice was shaky and deep as he talked to me. I gave Eren a look that said, "please help me" and I could see him making his way over to us. I turned back to Reiner and tried to stall time before Eren got over here.

"Resist what?"

I asked him. He shook his head and laughed before getting suddenly angry.

"I'm surrounded by misguided worms. Unintelligent bastards that think they can survive off the little resources they have. It's bullshit Robina! All of these brats; all of them thinking they can take down the Titans! What hell is wrong with them!? I've been living with these fools for three years now and I still don't know! But that's probably why I asked you and Eren that question..."

At first I thought he was just talking to himself, but at the end he directed his speech to me. His pupils were going big and then little again and again. His breathing was rigid and misplaced. Eren ran over to us and put his hand on Reiner's shoulder. It was immediately shrugged off.

"Reiner, you need to calm down."

Eren said slowly as he walked over to me and grabbed my hand.

"...Now come on, let's catch up with the others."

We began walking to the soldiers, who had been getting packed for the journey back to Trost, but stopped when our blond-haired friend had still not moved.

"I don't know what's right or wrong anymore. But I do know is that I have to finish out the duty I have been performing until the bitter end!"

He yelled as he took off the bandages from his arm. My eyes widened when I saw that his arm was smoking and his wound had healed completely. So that means he has to be...

"Ahhh!"

Eren and I turned around to the sound of someone screaming. The screamer was Bertolt as he held his neck. Apparently, Mikasa had slashed him and began running at us. Her expression was a scared one as she looked past us. Reiner was moving forward on us, but I knew how to stop him. I quickly grabbed one of my swords and swung around as fast as I could; cutting his arm off in the process. Blood splattered over mine and Eren's faces as we both jumped away from him.

"We have to go Eren! Run!"

Mikasa and I said in unison. He tried to run with us but he couldn't. His face showed pure shock at the two people we had been friends with for these past couple of years. They were both screaming loudly as blood gushed from their cut skin. Mikasa looked at me and I looked at her as we tried to help Eren up. He had tripped while trying to run us. It was obvious that his mind was thinking about something else at the moment.

"Eren! Come on!"

I screamed in his face. He gasped after three seconds of staring at me and got up in an instant. The three of us ran as giant puffs of smoke appeared behind us. Heat enveloped our bodies and steam was heard in our eardrums.

"Robina, Mikasa! Get Hanji and-"

Eren's sentence was cut off by a enormous-sized hand. It's bony and fleshy fingers wrapped around the boy beside us and lifted him in the air. Trust me, I tried to cut the fingers off and set Eren free, but steam hit us like a bullet and Mikasa and I were sent to the ground. Pain shot through my shoulder with the amount of force I had when hitting the cement ground. I winced and cried out with a tiny whimper. Mikasa wasted no time in running over to me and picking me up in her arms.

"Are you okay Robina!?"

She asked me. I winced once more but nodded reluctantly. She helped me to my feet and held me to keep me stable. My right shoulder had smashed into the ground so it was hurting pretty bad right now; almost to the point to where I was crying. No, I was crying. Tears fell from my eyes involuntarily and Mikasa only got more worried.

"Are you sure Robina!?"

She yelled to me.

"I'll be fine."

I said as I walked past her; more tears falling out as I pushed myself harder and harder. It didn't feel broken, or at least I don't think so. It was probably just bruised is all but it felt like something on a whole other level of pain. But I had to put my focus into getting Eren back. I looked back at her and nodded.

"...Right now, we have to save Eren!"

"Right! Let's go!"

We both looked down, up, right, and left for the boy we both loved so much. When we heard the familiar steam sound of his own Titan-form, we knew where he was; below the wall. Looking over it, we saw what looked to be the battle of a lifetime.

The human-saving Titan against the Armored Titan.

And that is the end of the chapter! I was surprised to find that I actually did fit the whole manga chapter in this one. I'm sorry I haven't updated as fast as I would like to but this always happens on my Dad's week. Bastard doesn't have internet. Like what the hell!? He has tons of money but no internet. -_- well I hope you guys understand nonetheless. Chapters will be out in 1-2 weeks so yeah. Please give the chapter and story all the reviews and comments you can! I would appreciate it lol. Finally, thanks for reading and I will see you guys next time!
