Previously on Mr. Peabody and Sherman 1 and a Half...
Sherman and Penny continue to watch as they see Mr. Peabody and Penny construct the mini Trojan Horse. While Mr. Peabody is more focused on building the device, Penny was more preoccupied for Sherman's well being. Obviously, this gave hints to Peabody thinking if Penny seemed to develop some friendly feelings for Sherman. The horse is finished and they both patiently wait for the moment of truth.
Chapter 15: War Part 1
Penny: How much longer Mr. Peabody?
Mr. Peabody: Don't worry Miss Peterson, it's only for a little while longer.
Penny and Mr. Peabody have been waiting in the horse for nearly fifteen minutes, but still, nothing. Nobody noticed the horse, leaving Mr. Peabody and Penny in the dust.
Meanwhile...
Nearby the horse was a Greek soldier and historical figure, Odysseus. He seems to be walking mindlessly towards the larger horse before the small horse caught his eye.
Odysseus: Ooh! A present.
Odysseus picks up the horse and climbs up the horse. This leaves off some movement for the two individuals inside.
Penny: *whispers* Somebody found us
Mr. Peabody: Shh... I hear something
As Odysseus climbed, voices can be heard. They souls loud and barbaric like. The voices start to be clearer and clearer with every passing second, even names are heard.
Voice 1: Are you ready to get out on the field, Shermanus?
Voice 2: Yes sir Mr. Agamemnon!
Voice 1: hehe, that's cute
Mr. Peabody: *thoughts* That name, that voice... no doubt Sherman's in that Trojan Horse.
A gain knock is heard, following the opening squeaks of a wooden door. The voice presumably called Agamemnon calls out to Odysseus.
Agamemnon: Odysseus, what news do you bring?
Odysseus lifts the mini Trojan Horse.
Odysseus: Someone left this for us!
Agamemnon: A present! Nice! It looks just like our horse.
Odysseus: ... Shall I bring it inside?
The soldiers all look at Agamemnon as if the all want to see what's in the gift.
Agamemnon: It be rude not to.
So Odysseus places the horse on the floor and out came Mr. Peabody, surprising the men like a Jack in the Box.
Agamemnon: Hehehe... I did NOT see that coming!
Penny peeps out from the the horse only to be hot with a large whiff of a bad smell, making the girl plug her nose.
Penny: Ugh! Jeez Louise! What is that smell?!
Agamemnon and a few men sniff their armpits loudly and powerfully.
Agamemnon: Oh yeah! That is the smell of victory!
Penny shakes her head in annoyance as she steps out of the horse.
*Pause*
...
Sherman: I still can't believe you couldn't take the smell.
Penny: Maybe you should stay longer Only then you'll smell what I smelled.
...

Mr. Peabody: Greetings, men of Athens, Sparta and Thebes. Peabody here. I've come for Sherman.
Mr. Peabody walks towards the massive army, face to face with King Agamemnon, general of the entire Greek army. Sherman, wearing the same red uniform as the rest, peeks out from behind Agamemnon's leg.
Agamemnon: you know this guy?
Sherman: I thought I did, but now I'm not so sure.
Agamemnon: Then he and the girl must be spies. KILL THEM!
He draws his sword with almost the entire army following suit and charged at Mr. Peabody, who seems to be having no glimpse of fear. Not even if his entire face is surrounded with swords. But before he could even be slaughtered, Sherman stops them.
Sherman: No! No! He's... my dad!
Greek Soldier: Your dad?
Penny: It's an adoptive relationship.
Penny places one of her hands on her hip with a no-nonsense look on her face while Agamemnon smiles.
Agamemnon: D'aww!
Mr. Peabody: Thank you so much for looking after Sherman, King Agamemnon, but now it's time for him to come home.
Sherman: Sorry, Mr. Peabody. I've joined the Greek army.
Agamemnon scoops up Sherman and places him on his shoulder while the boy looks at Sherman with a smug smirk on his face.
Agamemnon: Shermanus is one of us now. He's a brother.
Sherman: I'm his brother.
Mr. Peabody: He's my son!
Agamemnon: He took an oath.
Sherman: I took an oath.
Mr. Peabody: He's only seven!
Sherman whispers into Agamemnon's ear...
Agamemnon: ...and a half!
He then looks back at his crew.
Agamemnon: All sons must prove themselves to their fathers! Today, Shermanus, much like all of us, will show his might on the field of battle!
Mr. Peabody: But he's only a little boy!
Agamemnon only chuckles and rolls his eyes.
Agamemnon: Your dad might not think you're ready to be a man, Shermanus, but we do.
The both turn around and all roar loud at both the girl and the dog.
Greek army: YEAH!
Sherman:; Yeah Mr. Peabody. Now I'll show you what I'm made of!
The large Greek commander the picks up Sherman again and sets him down.
Agamemnon: Besides, a lot of us here and many heroes have father issues. My dad was a minotaur. Half man, half bull, all judgement.
He then starts pointing out other soldiers with similar father issues.
Agamemnon: Ajax here might be the strongest man in the world, but his dad never accepted the fact that his real dream was to sing.
Ajax responds with a very high pitched voice.
Ajax: I wanted to be in the Greek chorus!
Agamemnon: Oh, and uh, you don't wanna talk about Oedipus. Let's just say that you DO NOT want to be at his parents house for the holidays... it's awkward.
Mr. Peabody quickly runs towards Sherman and faces him straight on.
Mr. Peabody: Sherman I don't think you realize how concerned I am. This is war. Real war. Do you realize what is about to happen?
Before Sherman could respond, Agamemnon answers for him.
Agamemnon: I'll tell ya what's gonna happen... WE'RE GONNA OBLITERATE THEIR HOUSES, PULL DOWN THEIR TEMPLES! AND MAKE THE STREETS OF THE CITIES RUN RED... WITH TROJAN BLOOD!
This fierce and passionate speech riled up the armada as they start chanting 'Blood' over and over again.
Greek army: BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOD!
*pause*
...
Penny: Wow, they are all bloodthirsty.
Sherman: Well back in those days, most people were savage bloodthirsty animals, but Ay least that was then and not now. Besides, once you get to know them, they're pretty nice.
Penny: Maybe to you Sherman, but it's just too wild.
...

All of a sudden, the Trojan Horse starts to move slowly. Agamemnon slips through the crowd towards an opening on the wall to see a few Trojan soldiers pulling the horse towards the gates of Troy. Agamemnon smiles and giggles as they pass the walls discretely. He turns back towards his men and makes his way to the door at the end of the Trojan Horse.
Agamemnon: Zeus on three! One...!
Mr. Peabody: Shetman, I absolutely forbid you from participating in the Trojan War!
Sherman: That's not fair! All my friends are fighting in the Trojan War!
Agamemnon: Two...!
Mr. Peabody: It's too dangerous!
Sherman: I got my helmet on!
Agamemnon: Three...!
Mr. Peabody: You're not going!
Sherman: Oh yes I am!
Agamemnon: ZEUUUSSS!
He bangs the door open and a sea of humanity pours out and brawls with the Trojan army. The last ones from the Greek army to leave were Agamemnon and Sherman. He grabs the boy and slides down the rope towards the battleground below.
Agamemnon: EAT MY BRONZE YOU TROJAN DOGS!
Meanwhile back on the horse, Mr. Peabody and Penny were still up there with Mr. Peabody look if with disbelief at Sherman's disobedience, but Penny gets even more worried.
Penny: Mr. Peabody! You have to do something! He's gonna get himself killed!
Mr. Peabody: There's only one thing to do! Venture into the battlefield myself.
Penny: Wait, I'm coming too.
Mr. Peabody: No Penny, I can't put you in harms way. Stay here where it's safe.
Penny: Oh... okay, but be careful.
Mr. Peabody nods and jumps on the rope and slides down. Once he lands on the brick road, Sherman is unable to be seen. He looks around to find him but it's impossible.
Suddenly a high pitched sound rings through Mr. Peabody's ears that only he can hear. Leaving him to one possible conclusion.
Mr. Peabody: Sherman!
He starts to follow the direction of the sound and passes by a few men both Greek and Trojan alike. Once he sees Sherman blowing on his dog whistle, he finds an intimidating looking Trojan soldier hulking over him, looking to kill the boy. Seeing a sword dropped on the floor, Mr. Peabody picks it up and jumps in front of the Trojan soldier who plunges his sword at Sherman but is blocked by Peabody's sword.
Mr. Peabody: Well that's cutting it close!
Using his advanced swordsman skills to outmaneuver the soldier, he and Sherman escape.
Mr. Peabody: This is why you should listen to me Sherman!
Another Trojan soldier charges at the two but Mr. Peabody leaps up and swings his sword to deflects him.
Mr. Peabody: Because I'm your father, and it's my job to protect you!
Another soldier charges at them with a spear, but Mr. Peabody uses his agility to jump on the wooden stake and leap above the man while Sherman slides below him.
Sherman: And do you promise Ms. Grunion won't take me away?
Mr. Peabody sees yet another soldier charging at them who swings at Mr. Peabody but misses. Only for Mr. Peabody to strike his helmet and knock the man down.
Mr. Peabody: As long as I'm around, you'll be fine!
Sherman starts to climb up the rope with Mr. Peabody following him. Due to the attacks, one of the gate doors sets on fire and falls off his hinges towards the Trojan Horse. Sherman reaches his hand towards Penny, who were fingertips apart before the door crashes into the horse and knocks Mr. Peabody and Sherman back to the ground. Not only that, but the Trojan Horse wheels away, with Penny still inside!
Penny: Mr. Peabody! Sherman! Help me!
Sherman: Penny.
Mr. Peabody quickly sees a few horses in a stable where he mounts one and follows the Trojan Horse down the streets of Troy.
*pause*
...
Penny:; Honestly that was the most scariest moment if my life. I thought I was gonna crash and maybe die.
Sherman: At least you mad it out of Troy alive.
Penny: So did you.
To be Continued...
A/N: Well That didn't go well.
Sherman may have disobeyed Sherman but Mr. Peabody was willing to go out to help him no matter what. But now another problem arises, Penny's in danger... again. Will our heroes help. Let's find out next time!
