A/N: So sorry for the delay... for the umpteenth time. Honestly, I feel like I should place this story back on hiatus, but I don't want to leave readers hanging, especially since this has been in production for almost a year... so I'll try to get this done as soon as possible.
Previously on Mr. Peabody and Sherman 1 and a Half...
Once the two children woke up in Troy, they see the Trojan Horse, smashed to pieces whole they remember Mr. Peabody was still inside. Sherman and Penny started to grieve over his death before Sherman runs to the WABAC with the risky idea to go back to the present and have Mr. Peabody back. Once they return, Mr. Peabody finds out they used the WABAC, despite Sherman knowing he wasn't supposed to tell her about it. The two explain what happen only for the Sherman of that era appears and surprises everyone. Before they could move somewhere, the Petersons, and a social worker named Ms. Grunion enter the scene with one Sherman hidden. Now, they're in a particularly tough situation.
Chapter 18: Double Trouble Part 2
Penny and Sherman are currently discussing Ms. Grunion, the enemy of the film. But it seems they're making fun of her too.
Penny: I actually regret bullying you. I didn't know she was gonna judge Mr. Peabody, let alone look like that!
Sherman: Yeah! She looks like a giant troll!
Penny and Sherman: *laugh*
*play*
Mr. Peabody: What a wonderful surprise. We were having a wonderful time, I forgot you were coming.
He runs up to her and drags her info the house and sets her between the Petersons.
Grunion: Hey!
Mr. Peabody: Why don't you join the party?
Grunion: I'm not here for a party! I'm here for the investigation!
Mr. Peabody: Good! Why don't you start right here?
He then starts using his hypnosis technique on her.
Mr. Peabody: Or here? Or here? Or here...?
However, she is unaffected and slaps his paws away.
Grunion: Stop waving your paws at me!
However, someone was affected as Past Sherman saw the technique and with a dazed look on his face, drops from behind Patty which catches the attention of her, Paul and Grunion.
Paul and Patty: Sherman?
Grunion: Wait a second! Is that?!
The three look at Present Sherman who is smiling innocently.
Paul, Patty, and Grunion: Sherman?!
Paul: Dos Shermanos?! What the heck is going on Peabody?!
Mr. Peabody doesn't reply but instead chuckles nervously, that is until the elevator opens to reveal ANOTHER Mr. Peabody, this time wearing a white toga with Greek patterns, which could indicate that this Peabody was the one Sherman and Penny thought was dead.
Present Mr. Peabody: Nobody move! Sherman, I have to get you out of here before you touch yourself!
Paul, Patty and Grunion all gasp at Mr. Peabody's misheard sentence as he means touching his past self, not what they were thinking. Grunion then starts to write on her clipboard.
*pause*
Sherman: i still don't know why they reacted like that.
Penny: All Mr. Peabody said was that he wanted to stop you from touching yourself. What's so wrong about that?
Sherman: I asked that same question to Mr. Peabody. He only said I'll learn when I'm older.
Penny: Well I guess we'll have to wait almost ten years for that.
*play*
Present Sherman: Mr. Peabody, you didn't die!
He then runs to him and hugs Mr. Peabody
Present Peabody: of course I didn't die.
Past Peabody: Thank you.
Present Sherman: Hey, how did you come back?
Present Peabody: Oh. After a set of failed experiments, I came across a combination of bones, stones, and yak fat, and constructed a temporary WABAC powerful enough to to get me back home
Past Peabody: Well its like what they say. If at first you don't succeed, Troy, Troy again.
Present Peabody: This isn't the time for puns... even good ones. Sherman, Penny, come quickly.
The present Peabody was about to take Penny and Present Sherman back to the WABAC and fix the timeline without straining it anymore. But Grunion stops him before he could leave.
Grunion: You're not going anywhere. I have seen quite enough to remove the boy... err.. I mean... both boys, from this home!
At this point, Penny steps in to admit her mistake.
Penny: No! Ms. Grunion please don't do this. This is all my fault, I bullied Sherman, I started all of this. If anybody deserves to be taken away, it's me.
She then looks back at Present Sherman with a sad look and her eyes beginning to tear up.
Penny: I'm so sorry Sherman.
Sherman can only frown.
Grunion: You have nothing to apologize for Penny. A dog shouldn't have been given the right to adopt a boy in the first place! Now come along!
She grabs Past Sherman's arm with one hand and grabs Present Sherman's arm with her other hand. Both Peabody's urge Grunion to both Sherman's go and yo not bring their arms together. But she refuses to listen and brings both hands together, and upon their touch, both Shermans start to merge
Penny: What's happening?!
Everyone is in utter shock at this sight as both Sherman's struggle to separate, but only make them converge faster. Both Peabody's run to both Sherman's and pull on their available arms to separate them, but it was no use as both Peabody's and both Sherman's merged before sending a shockwave, sending it out of the penthouse. Once the display of disbelief was gone, only one Peabody and one Sherman were laying on the floor in their generic clothes.
Paul: Hey! Where did the other two go?!
Mr. Peabody: Ugh... Our cosmic doubled collided in order to rectify a crack in the space-time continuum.
Paul, who seems to not have understood a word Mr. Peabody said, pretends to get what he's saying.
Paul: Okay that makes sense.
Grunion then walks up to Mr. Peabody and Sherman, still dumbfounded over what she saw.
Grunion: I don't know what just happened! But I know it was wrong! This boy is coming with me!
She then grabs Sherman's wrist and drags him to the elevator.
Sherman: Mr. Peabody!
Mr. Peabody: No Ms. Grunion!
Sherman breaks free from her grasp and runs back to Mr. Peabody, only to get grabbed again by Grunion, this time with a tighter grasp.
Sherman: Ow! Ow! You're hurting me!
Mr. Peabody perks his ears up and growls. He then runs after Grunion and
*CHOMP!*
Grunion: *gasp*
Paul and Patty: *gasp*
Penny: *gasp*
Grunion lifts her arm to see a bite mark, clear as day.
Grunion: He bit me!
Mr. Peabody backs away, regretting the act he did as Grunion look at him with a cold dead stare.
Grunion: He bit me!
She then picks up her phone and calls the police.
Grunion: Yes hello? 911 emergency, I'd like to report an assault. A bite!
As Grunion was talking to the police, Sherman wants to know what's gonna happen next.
Sherman: Mr. Peabody, what are we gonna do?!
Mr. Peabody then thinks of a last minute exit method.
Mr. Peabody: Ruuun!
Mr. Peabody runs towards the elevator with Sherman and Penny following after him.
Grunion: He's kidnapping the children!
Grunion runs as fast as she could but once they three got in the elevator, the doors close and make Grunion slam against the doors.
*pause*
Penny: Man I can't believe she would say such ridiculous things like saying Mr. Peabody kidnapped us.
Sherman: I guess she was trying to get your parents on her side so she can take me away.
Penny: Yeah well I still can't believe there were two of you.
Sherman: Yeah
Penny: But I still wonder what happened to the past me. I mean what happened to her now that you two merged.
Sherman: I think there's a clip of that in here somewhere.
Penny: Well let's see it.

A/N: Well I do hope this makes up for my two month delay.
So what did happen to Penny's double after Mr. Peabody and Sherman's doubles collided? You'll find out next time.
Also I meant to publish this yesterday as I planned to update stories this week celebrate the series premiere of The Mr. Peabody and Sherman Show this Friday. But I was too busy, but at least today can make up for it.
