(Hey everyone. Sorry for the long Hiatus for this story. I just haven't had the motivation to work on stories due to two people close to me passing and dealing with depression and my own self image issues. I hope this makes up for it and I apologize the OOC in Riddick it's been a while since I have wrote him. I will aslo be trying to do another Chapter for The Hunter and the Siren. Well Enjoy!)

It had been several days since Shinku arrived at New Mecca, since her arrival she had been treated like glass. Despite their good intentions Shinku had decided to take up residence in the section of the palace that was near the forest. Shinku sighed as she stared at her reflection with a slight glare as looked at her long hair, she had been tired of it gettign in her was and was debating on how to cut it. After making her decision, she picked up a pair of scissors that were sitting upon the sink and began to cut her hair until the left side was extremely short and slightly longer on the right. Once Shinku was satisfied with her new hair cut she began to clean it up quickly before heading into the forest for a calming walk toward her bathing area. Not realizing that Damien's surprise had arrived earlier than expected...

(Palace Throne Room)

"Welcome to New Mecca... Mr. Riddick." Lord Damien spoke calmly at the man that was now standing in the middle of his throne room.

"Cut the small talk old man and tell me what you want with me. After all you wouldn't have made the effort to bring me here..." Riddick stated darkly as he shifted causing his chains to rattle slightly. The guards noticed that their lord raised his hand to have them removed once they were removed Riddick was instantly preparing to leave until Damien spoke again,

"There is someone who I believe you should meet... though you have already met a long time ago..."
At the decriptic sentence caused Riddick to snap at attention, for some reason the beast within him began to stir once again with interest as Damien stood from his throne and began to head down the nearest hallway. He signaled for Riddick to follow him, even though Riddick thought better of it he followed the old man, as they wandered though hallways eventually coming into a part that was covered in forest and seemed to made into a bedroom.

'Alright old man start talking, who am I meeting..." Riddick asked as he shifted his weight from one foot to the other.

Damien simply smiled before pointing to the opening and spoke," Follow the path Mr. Riddick and your questions will be answered..."

Riddick looked at him before slowly walking into the forest hallway, as he walked down it he made sure to stick to the shadows instinctively, he could smell the natural smells of the forest. It was then he started to smell water as he got closer and closer he could make out the outline of a woman bathing underneath the waterfall. He made sure to watch where he stepped so he wouldn't step on any twigs and alert the woman. From the back he could see that she bore a tattoo, but didn't get a to good look at it for the woman turned to the side giving him a view of her swollen belly. Riddick's eyes then traveled upward to her face, his eyes that were hidden by his goggles widened at the now woman that had stolen his heart long ago. Alive, well and with child, Riddick's body instantly reacted on instinct as he approached not caring if branches broke beneath his boots.

Shinku heard the snapping of twigs and quickly snapped her head to the source of the sound only to freeze at the man now before her. Riddick and Shinku eyes locked with each other neither moving. Riddick was the first to move as he began to enter the pool not caring if his clothes got wet as soon as he got to her Riddick grabbed her and pulled her close and slammed his lips onto hers. Shinku responded to the kiss with equal intinsity and passion, wrapping her arms around his neck, soon the pair allowed their inner animals out.

As the passion began to grow Riddick pulled away and ran his hand over her swollen stomach, he then pulled Shinku into his arms taking her inside her room through the opening that lead to the forest. He laid her down upon the dark blue silk sheets before craawling next to her and kissed her lips again before pulling away and asked,

"How did you get off that planet..."

Shinku looked at him while she stroked his face lovingly before she responded,

"Not long after I made sure you had left I went to work on finding a place to stay... The creatures constantly tried to kill me, but I killed more than half of them... I eventually managed to find a temprorary home as I went through it I found plans for an air craft and found an underground bunker. With it I quickly began to work on it and got it fully functional..."

Riddick was silent for a time before he spoke again,

"You do realize that I am not exactly father material..."

Shinku smirked as she responded," And you think I am mother material, fear not Riddick I won't ask you to stay with me nor force any responsibility onto you. Don't think you have to be here because you are obligated-"

Riddick gripped her arm tightly, but not enough to hurt her and growled out darkly," You ain't an obligation. You are mine and so are these children, and the next time you do your self sacrificing shit again you better believe that I will be with you. You aren't leaving me again."

Shinku nodded her head, as soon as he let go of her arm she curled into him as he wrapped his arms around her, they could hear each other's hearbeat as they began to sync together. Suddenly, Shinku winced as she felt her tattoo began to glow and heat up, Riddick noticed her discomfort and pulled back to see what was going on before it suddenly stopped.
" I don't know why, but lately it's beeen active every now and again... I have a feeling that something will be happening soon..."

"Then we will be prepared." Riddick stated bluntly before kissing her once again.

Both of them were content for the moment and were preparing to face what was to come for the animal found it's mate and it wouldn't let them go anytime soon.
