Meg Masters:
Dean and I looked at the other confused but quickly followed after Sam who had just grabbed the shoulder of a young short haired blonde sitting at one of the tables. "Meg?" Meg? Who the hell was Meg and why had I never heard of her.
The woman turned around surprised and gave a bright grin. "Sam!" As if she had never been so happy to see anybody. What kind of relationship did this woman have with my little brother. It was my job as older than him to skim through and cut out any woman I thought wasn't good enough for my baby brother. "Is that you?" She suddenly stood up, revealing she was just shorter than myself so she was a dwarf compared to Sam. But that didn't stop her from hugging him. "What are you doing here?"
I glanced between the two. Sam looked confused about these turn of events. "I'm just in town," He answered as she pulled away. "Visiting friends."
Meg glanced behind Sam, completely ignoring us as if we were never there. "Where are they?" She asked as if she couldn't see Dean and I standing right behind Sam watching.
"Well they're not here right now." Sam said quickly as to not get caught in his lie. "But what about you, what happened to California."
"Oh I did." Meg said grinning. "I came, I saw, I conquered." Something about her grin just seemed...dark, to me, I guess. "Oh, and I met what's his name, something Michael Murray at a bar." I scowled, I knew who she meant but that wasn't even his name.
"Who?" Sam asked, clueless as ever.
"Oh, it doesn't matter." Meg said quickly. "Anyway, the whole scene got old so I'm living here for a while." Dean and I shared a confused look. So Dean coughed loudly, trying to get Sam's attention to introduce us all.
But he went ignored. "You're from Chicago?" Sam asked. I lived in Chicago briefly and let me tell you, with the life I had there, I had been glad to leave six months after my arrival.
"No, Massachusetts-Andover." Meg explained. I lived there briefly to just after I had run away from the system. Meg grinned wildly, showing all her straight teeth. "Gosh Sam, what are the odds we'd run into each other."
Sam slowly nodded, "Yeah, I know, I thought I'd never see you again." I still wanted to know who the hell she was.
Still ignoring us, Meg said, "Well I'm glad you were wrong." I elbowed Dean in the stomach, ignoring his 'oof' and nodded to Sam and the girl. Dean coughed even louder and this time, Meg looked at us with an annoyed bitchy look on her face. "Dude, cover your mouth."
I put my hands on my hips. "Excuse you?" I demanded scowling.
Sam quickly introduced us. "Sorry Meg, this is my sister Chris. And our brother Dean."
Meg looked up at him surprised. "This is Dean and Chris?" Oh great, she knew Sam well enough for him to tell her about us? Dean smiled cockily and I rolled my eyes.
"So you've heard of me?" Dean asked flirting.
I crossed my arms. "Probably how many girls you go through a week." Dean scowled at me.
But what Meg said honestly shocked us both. "Oh, I've heard a lot. Like the way you treat your brother like luggage." She barked at Dean. I looked at her in disbelief, what the crap?
"Sorry?" Dean asked just as confused as I was.
"Why don't you let him do what he wants to do?" Meg sneered. "Stop dragging him all over God's green earth."
I grew pissed very quickly, hands squeezing into fists with nails biting into the palm of my hands. "I don't know who you think you are,"
"It's okay." Sam said quickly, pushing between us. "It's okay." After that everyone in our foursome was quiet. It got real awkward real quick.
Dean started the noise up again by giving a low whistle. "Okay awkward, I'm gonna get a drink now."
"I'll go with you Dean." I muttered, feeling a little...betrayed, I guess would be the word. Sam bitched about us to this total stranger?
"What the hell was that about?" Dean scowled as we headed to the door instead of drinks.
"I don't know but looks like Sam just got her number." I said numbly, looking over my shoulder where Sam had just pocketed his cell phone. Then he quickly followed after us.
I sped walk towards the impala, "Who the hell was she?" Dean demanded as we got further away from the bar and Meg Masters.
"I don't really know." Sam said, but she sure did seem to know him. "I only met her once." And so what? "Meeting up with her again?" He complained about them to literally a total stranger. "I don't know, it's weird." And that clearly wasn't the only weird thing around here.
"What was she saying?" Dean demanded.
I turned around. "Apparently about how much we treat him like luggage."
"Look, I'm sorry." Sam apologized but it sure as hell didn't make me feel any better. "It was when we had that huge fight when I was in that bus stop in Indiana." Oh great, so what? She picked him up or something. "But that's not important, just listen-"
"But I wasn't in the mood to listen and neither apparently was Dean. "Well is there any truth to what she's saying?" Dean demanded. "I mean, are we keeping you against your will?" I sure never remembered forcing Sam to stay with us. If memory served me right, he came back to us.
"No, of course not." Sam snapped. "Now would you listen?"
"What Sam?" I scowled. "What is so important this time."
Sam rolled his eyes and continued on. "I think there's something strange going on here." What was his first clue?
"Yeah, tell me about it." Dean scowled. "She wasn't even that into me."
"Not everyone falls for you at first sight, Dean-o." I pointed out. I honestly didn't get what girls saw in my brother but that was just me being a little sister
