Zarti stared at Natsu as the boys smile faded, ''What can't take a joke''. Deliora's ice began to crack and chip of as it melted. 'I'll probably die trying to kill this thing' he thought. ''Oh well I lived a shitty life''. He jumped up and kicked at Zarti not really caring if he hit or not. The old man dodged, ''You do realized that you are just accelerating the speed of the melting ice, right?'' Natsu shrugged but stayed silent.
''The ruins are shaking again'' Grey said wiping his mouth, Lyon smirked ''The ritual has started, Deliora is melting. So I guess this is it you couldn't stop me''. 'Ul' Grey thought sadly, ''Three years'' Lyon raised his hand ''Three years I've waited for this''. Ice spades erupted from around Grey, he crossed his arms to protect his face. ''Finally I will surpass Ul!''
Grey put a fist in his palm then held both arms out to his sides, the spades dissapeared. Grey looked at him ''So you wasted three years on this ridiculous goal of yours'' Lyon grit his teeth. ''RIDICULOUS!'' he bellowed and smashed a frozen object atop Grey's head ''You've wasted ten years in a crap guild''. Grey had blocked the aggravated assault by holding his hands over his head.
''I just believed in Ul, she told us that there were stronger mages in the world. Fairy Tail is just where I ended up''. Lyon etched ''Whatever'' he launched forward forming a tiger around his hand. ''The only way to surpass Ul is to defeat Deliora''. Grey dodged, ''someone so blind is trying to surpass Ul. Your one-hundred years too early for that. Game over, try again''.
He created an ice sword and slashed Lyon in half, but the man crumbled into ice. Lyon was a ways behind him, ''ice make: SNOW TIGER!''. The monstrous beast charged at Grey, he leaped high into the air a formed an ice cage to trap it. Lyon snorted, ''I'll just smash your ice creation'' the tiger struggled against the cage but was unable to break it ''Wah'' Lyon started.
''I told you that one handed magic was unbalanced and unstable, it was Ul's teachings'' Lyon stood shocked in his place. ''But you don't seem to care any more,'' Grey held up his hands as if he was holding a large gun. ''Ice make cannon!'' A giant cannon materialized and Grey let it shoot of at Lyon. The albino screamed as he was blown back, the walls behind him crumbled.
Lyon stood and stared at Grey before finally collapsing, the raven let out a breath but fell to his knees when blood spurted from his abdomen. He froze the wound mumbling how he should have done that in the first place.
Suddenly an unfinished roar ripped through the island, Natsu flinched violently and thought his ears where bleeding. (Drama queen) Deliora ripped from the ice ''Yes!'' Zarti yelled as Natsugrunted obscenities under his breath.
''Deliora'' The roar had awaken Lyon ''Shit'' Grey cursed ''I've got no choice I have to use iced shell''
Wow even I want to know what Natsu will do.. oh well I'm going by how long fairy tail many a chaps are so that's not my problem
