We're his Weakness
"What's that?" Dean demanded. Out of everything I've heard about John Winchester, I couldn't think of one that that he would give his life for.
So Meg really surprised me when she got all up in Dean's face and said, "You." I couldn't stop the surprise coursing through my body. "He lets his guard down around his boys, let's his emotions cloud his judgment. I know daddies, and they would be anything for they're little girls." She looked over her shoulder at me but I doubted I was even a thought of caused worry in John Winchester's mind. "I happen to know he is in town and he'll come and try to save you. And then the Daevas will kill everybody; nice, slow, and messy." I fought to get myself free of my bindings but all I did was cause rope burns to my wrists.
"Well I've got news for ya." Dean said. "It's gonna take a lot more than some...shadow to kill him."
"To kill any of us." I said, trying to hide the worry in my tone. I didn't like being tied up, feeling so helpless and unable to stop anything that was happening. Losing control.
"Oh," Meg said as if she just remembered something. "The daevas are in the room here, they're invisible." My eyes darted around to every dark corner of the room. "Their shadows are just the only part you can see."
"Why you doing this, Meg?" Sam demanded, as if they had been such good friends before he realized she was nuts. "What kind of deal you got worked out here, who with."
"I'm doing this for the same reason you do what you do, loyalty." I looked at my brothers, eyes darting between them. "Love." My heart pounded as Derek's face appeared in my head. "Like the love you had for mommy, and Jess." She turned from Sam to me. "Like Brooklyn."
Both Sam and I opened our mouths and said, "Go to hell!"
But Meg just grinned. "I'm already there." Then she left Dean and passed me by. I felt sick as she ran a hand through my hair as she did so. She went to Sam. "There's no need to be nasty." She got close to Sam's ear in a whisper but loud enough for everyone to hear. "I think we both know how you really feel about me. You know, I saw you watching me, changing in my apartment. Turned you on, didn't it."
Dean groaned, dropping his head back against the pole. "Get a room, you two."
My head fell forward. "I'm gonna throw up." Have you ever imagined your brother getting it on? Seriously, the worst images ever popped into my head.
But Meg kept on like neither of us had said a word. "I don't mind, I liked that you were watching me. Come on Sammy, you and I can still have a little dirty fun." She kissed his neck.
Sam looked sick and pissed as he said, "You wanna have some fun? Go ahead then, I'm a little tied up right now." Seriously Sammy? I was gonna have to knock some sense into that boy about knowing who you're talking to before they try to kill you.
Everyone froze when something sounded from Dean. I leaned my head against the pole, watching Meg said and take the knife Dean had been using to try cutting himself free. Dean chuckled innocently and Meg looked at Sam. "We're you just trying to distract me while your brother cuts free?"
"God, I hope so." I said.
"I don't need a distraction." Sam told Meg. "I have a knife of my own." Sam broke free, having spent his time cutting the ropes around him. His knife skidded across the floor to my pole and I wasted no time wiggling myself to reach it with my foot to drag it over close enough so I could grab it in my hands and cut free.
"Sam! Get the altar!" Dean shouted after Meg fell to the floor in pain from Sam's attack. I was halfway through with my ropes as he did so. The demon was free and the first thing he did? Throw Meg's scrawny little ass through a seven story window.
I finally got myself free as Sam started cutting Dean free. Standing up, we all met at the broken window with shards of glass decorating the floor. I could barely see Meg with the night lamps on, sprawled across the sidewalk and she wasn't moving. It was a safe bet going on with her being dead. "So I guess the Daevas didn't like being bossed around." Sam said to break the silence that had fallen.
I shrugged a little half shrug of my shoulder. "Can't blame it." I'd want to kill someone to who thought I should jump at they're order.
"Sam?" Dean looked over my head to our brother. "Next time you wanna get laid, find a girl that's not so buckets-o-crazy, huh?" He smiled and walked away.
I patted Sam's broad shoulder, "I'm with him." I said before leaving, running my hand over my blood coated cheek to try cleaning it up some.
In silence we made it to the car. Dean's rock music filled the space as we drove back to the motel. Only to stop in the hallway just before we reached our room to talk. "Why didn't you just leave that stuff in the car?" Dean asked, seeing as how Sam was carrying a few of the bags we had packed earlier.
"I said it before and I'll say it again, better safe than sorry."
"Now you see why I always have so many weapons on me." I smirked proudly. And they said I was crazy.
"Well sweetheart, it didn't seem to do you much good with the way you were tied up." Dean said. I scowled darkly at him as he unlocked the door.
Only our motel room wasn't as empty as we thought
