Mordechai?

Ed and Harry screamed as they caught sight of our guns pointed at them. "What are you trying to do, get yourself killed?" Sam hissed.

"We're just trying to get a book and movie deal, ok?" Ed whined.

"At the risk of your own lives?" My eye twitched in irritation.

Everyone went silence as we heard something from downstairs in the basement. My hand readjusted its grip on my gun as I tensed, prepared for anything that may just come after us. Ed and Harry whimpered, hundred together and nearly crowding on the three of us in they're terror. Of course they had there little camera recording the entire time. "You wanna...you wanna open the door for us?" Ed stuttered, to scared to move his hand from far off his camera.

"Why don't you?" Dean said sarcastically. But he never got an answer because Mordechai suddenly bursts through the door, screaming as he held an axe over his head. I didn't hesitate to empty my gun, shooting him multiple times in the chest. The sounds of my guns and bullets hitting Mordechai mixed with Dean and Sam as they did the same. He vanished and we finally believed the job was over with, checking out nearby rooms to be on the positive side.

As we were doing this, the dork duo stayed in the main room. "Did you get him?" Harry asked urgently.

Ed was just getting his heart race to clam down after panicking so bad the last few minutes. "Yeah, they got him." He said relieved.

"No!" Harry snapped. "Did you get him on camera." Harry didn't was it before snagging the camera. He had barely opened it before Mordechai appeared, slicing through the camera with his axe and Harry fell to the ground in his surrounded.

In the kitchen, I heard the crashes and came running in just in time to see Mordechai disappear again. "Fuck it, he's still alive!" I cursed loudly as Sam and Dean came running in.

"Hey, didn't you guys post that BS story we gave you?" Dean barked.

"Of course we did." Ed said like it was obvious despite insisting earlier when we gave it to them that they would shut the website down. But if they did, why was it still here when the bullets should have ended him?

"But then our server crashed." Harry reminded Ed.

"Of course it did." I tried to run a frustrated hand over my hair only to realize I still wore my hat because of Dean's great prank to turn my hair green.

"So these guns don't work." Dean realized. "Great. Any ideas?" We had one with the gun. I sure didn't think we would need a plan B in case it didn't work to begin with.

Harry and Ed had an idea. They're bright idea was trying to run out the house as fast as they could. Please note that I said 'tried'. They only made it as far as the door way to the next room before Mordechai appeared before them. The pair started screaming how 'The power of Christ compels you!"

"Are you two idiots or what?!" I shouted loudly, hands on my hips. That only worked on crappy TV shows and I wasn't even sure it was ghosts they did it to.

Sam distracted Mordechai while the dorks made they're escape. I hurried into the next room and quickly startled helping Dean sores kerosene all over every aspect of the house we could get to. I heard Sam started screaming. I let the can pour out of a trail across the floor as I hurried into the next room where Mordechai was trying to strangle Sam. Dean used the lighter to set the place on fire. "Go, go!" Dean shouted, running after us seconds later as Sam and I raced down the front porch stairs. We barely made it a few feet away before the house was sky high in flames.

"That's your solution?" Sam demanded, finally seeing what we had done. "Burn the whole place down to the ground?"

"Why not?" I asked with an excited shrug. "How many chances am I gonna get to burn a whole house down?" Actually, this was the second time I did it. I burned down a foster home once but in my offense it was a tot accident, honestly. Let's just say it was several years before I touched another stove again.

"Besides, it's not like Mordechai can leave the house." Dean explained his reasoning. "He can't haunt a house if there's no house to haunt. It's fast and dirty but it works." I could feel the heat of the flames still on my face even though we were now several feet away.

"What if the legend changes again and Mordechai is allowed to leave the house?" Sam asked.

"Way to be optimistic, Sammy boy." I said sarcastically, patting his shoulder.

"I guess we'll just have to come back." Dean answered Sam.

And then Sammy got deep. "Kinda makes you wonder. Of all the things we hunted, how many existed jus cause people believed in them." I thought back to all my hunts and thought, it didn't matter because everything I've kilt was because they were killing people.

The next morning was spent on checking on Henry and Ed to make sure they made it back to they're little trailer after they fled the house. But they were carrying large grocery bags filled with they're stuff instead of food to they're car. "Gentlemen, miss." Ed said as he noticed our arrival first.

"Should we tell them?" Harry asked Ed, looking cocky as hell.

Ed shrugged like he didn't care but he had a huge ass smirk on his face. "Might as well, you know, they're going to read about it in the trades."

I got impatiently annoyed so I put my hands on my hips. "Are you gonna tell us or do I have to shake it out of ya?"

But Ed and Harry didn't look scared, they looked quite proud of themselves.
