Chapter 58:

Natsu heard the cries of the other Fairy Tail mages including Lucy's sites beside him. Gajeel continued to laugh at it became annoying.

He recalled how each of the others had greeted him, with hatred. How his team didn't want him there. Then he remembered Lissana, she loved that relatively large building. She loved the people, and in her place Natsu would protect them. He turned back to face Gajeel and hefted himself from the floor. ''N-natsu'' Happy whimpered.

There was no progress, Natsu was flung across the room like a ragdoll. Gajeel grinned ''You should know I'm not the merciful type, after I rip you a new one; get ready to meet your maker''. Happy clenched his fist ''If he had some fire he would definitely kick your ass!''. The man in the horse costume reached for an arrow ''There seems to have been a misunderstanding''. He placed the arrow in his bow and pulled ''I cannot produce fire but I can help it generate''.

Gajeel's hand had twisted into the shape of a sword ''Goodbye Salamander!''. The arrow was released, it zipped past Gajeels face distracting him and hit a large machine. Electricity crackled before exploding into an inferno engulfing them both. Gajeel jumped away and watched as the flames swirled down Natsu's throat. More arrows hit causing more fire which was quickly eaten.

''Thank you Sagittarius!'' Lucy beamed, Natsu wiped his mouth 'So the blonde can be useful' he thought. Gajeel tched ''So what if you ate some fire that just put us on equal playing ground!''. Thae iron dragonslayer yelled rushing forward. Natsu side glanced him with a glare, Gajeel then found his face full of flames. ''You get on my nerves'' Natsu said calmly.

''Iron dragons roar!'' Gajeel tried to surprise his opponent. Natsu simply raised his hand and with a flick of his wrist halted the attack causing it to bounce back at Gajeel.''You and your stupid grin and annoying laugh really get on my nerves!'' Natsu's eye twitched and his face darkened.

Veins began to pop on Natsu's forehead, all of the anger he kept inside all day became a dence hot flame in his fist. Gajeel growled ''I'm invincible!''. Natsu snorted ''Guren Karyuuken!'', Natsu rained powerful punches on to Gajeel, destroying Phantom Lord. He crushed the metallic scales covering his opponent. With one final punches the guild fell deeper into the ocean, ''Now were even'' Natsu calmed down.

''Kyaah!'' Lucy yelled tripping on the crumbling floor, Happy quickly lifted her away from danger. Natsu tumbled and landed on a plate form. ''Is he okay?'' Lucy asked the blue cat as she was placed down. ''Go down their and see'' was his response, Lucy's lips formed a line ''I suppose he's fine''. Happy stared at her with disappointment, Natsu blinked at the sky as it began to swirl.

The ruins he played upon began to shake ''The old man's back'' he spoke. A shock wave sent massive waves upwards and the area he was resting on suddenly dropped lower. ''Natsu!'' Happy yelled, said mage was about to speak when the sky seemed to open up and light poured down on everything. ''Fairy Law'' Natsu muttered quietly.

Happy lifted Lucy away from the rubble as the light grew brighter. Natsu winced as he felt the dark magic inside of him spasm. Before anything else could happen the light vanished. Happy and Lucy met with everyone on shore as they cheered. Erza nudged Grey and sent him a pointed glare, he rubbed the back of his head ''Er...where's Natsu''. Happy yawned ''He said something about getting answers'', the feline then sulked ''I got in trouble for saying ass''.

Natsu's head hung over the edge of some stone ''Oi, metal face you awake''. No answer ''Don't be a child just because I stomped your pitiful ass''. Ignored again ''Where did you learn your dragon slayer magic from''. There was a pause before Gajeel hoisted himself up ''The iron dragon metalicana''. Natsu hummed ''So their are others''.

Another awkward silence ensued, ''What happened to your dragon'', Gajeel looked away ''This that and the other'', he mumbled. Natsu was suddenly in his face an annoyed look in his eyes ''I asked what happened to your dragon''. Gajeel number his head to the others ''I said this that and the other you turd!''. They turned away holding their heads in mild pain.

Gajeel groaned and ounce again the two where silent, ''Metalicana just vanished one day with ought a word'', Natsu leaned back ''Seven years ago, July seventh?''. Gajeel turned to him ''Did you know Metalicana?''. Natsu rolled his eyes ''No you idiot, my dragon dissapeared the same day,''.

''Sol told me igneel, the fire dragon right?'', Natsu froze for a moment ''Can I trust you?'' he asked. Gajeel raised an eyebrow ''As much as any dragon'', Natsu sighed ''I wasn't raised by Igneel, I spent some time with him though, I was actually raised bye achnologia''. Silence ''Metal face?'' Natsu turned but the other slayer was gone ''Jack ass''. Natsu got up and wobbled away ''Might as well go home''.

Natsu ended up resting on some fallen pulled of the guild, Grey was talking to him but he wasn't listening. Levy, Jet, Droy, and Reedus came out of no where and some over dramatic speech was going on. Natsu began to drift off, the lullaby of cheered and tears sent him to a dreamless rest.

I have a really bad headache. This will become a weekly update with longer chaps...maybe. but I'll miss less days and be less tired by updating weekly...bye
