I also skipped a bunch of shit when Lucy met up with Loke...we all know what happened and this story is about Natsu soooo yeh sorry

Chapter 35:

Natsu drummed his fingers on the table in agitation, he tried to block out the indignant yelling from a group of civilian women apparently in search of Loke. Their high-pitched bouts of being stood up were ringing in his ears. Happy was talking with Grey and Erza so he felt he could leave the feline her and come back. He got up shakily and coughed 'What did i catch?' he wondered in slight concern. He walked out through the partly constructed doors just as the women tried to turn the blame on Lucy.

He walked around for a few hours trying to forget how crappy he was feeling, he leaned on a wall panting slightly. 'I should go get Happy' he thought, just as he was about to turn around said cat flew full speed into his face. "Natsu! This is an emergency! Loke has gone missing,". Natsu sighed 'Of course I have to help look for him' he rustled Happy's fur then headed towards the woods where he could faintly smell the ring bearer.

The two took a hurried pace heading for the trees, Natsu forced himself to continue breathing through his nose so Happy wouldnt heare him panting. The sound of a waterfall steadily got louder as loke's scent grew stronger, a few trees arched in a half circle around a small cliff edge. A grave sat at its peak, Loke stood staring at...Lucy. Natsu stopped running he hadn't smelt her, something was seriously wrong with him. He wiped his sweaty palms on his jeans and whispered to Happy. "Lucy has found him, im going home," Happy nodded and let him leave.

Once he was far enough Natsu fell to his knees gasping for air, his vision blurred and their was a buzzing in his ears but he could vaguely hear the crunching of leaves. He looked up and saw the boy...no man that had loved one of his friends. A friend that had died, a friend he was blamed for the death of. Natsu coughed "Koru," he was not surprised to see the other here. He was one of many who wanted revenge on him, light brown hair slicked back and green eyes on a slightly pink face. Koru stared hatefully at the teen below him and pulled out a knife.

"Still using the same weapon i see" his voice was strained and weak, maybe he had been poisoned in that town he destroyed. "I will avenge her," Koru's smooth voice held malice. Natsu narrowed his eyes and forced himself to stand, "Then find the bastards who killed her. Yana would noy want you hunting her friend". It hurt to say her name, memories of the girl he had fallen for filled his mind.

"Dont you dare say her name!" Koru's voice rose as he raised the knife "Stop the innocent act you murderer!" the knife came down and Natsu quickly grabbed the others wrist. 'You think I would hurt her?' he thought solemnly.

"Even in this weakened state i am too strong for you," Natsu's hand shook as he struggled to keep the weapon away from him. Koru grit his teeth in anger and raised his other hand aiming a punch. Natsu blocked it as well and began to warmed his hands enough to cause blisters on his enemy's hand and wrist.

Koru pulled back with a start, "You ripped her limbs from her body and then severed her head, DO YOU FEEL NO REMORSE AT ALL!?" Koru ran at Natsu with tears in his eyes "I loved her, we both loved her. But you couldn't have her so you killed her!''.

Natsu formed a wall of flames at began to step back trying to creat distance. His legs were shaking and he could taste blood in his mouth. His vision continued to worsen before is was as if looking through altered glass.

Pain ripped through his shoulder as warm red liquid spilled from a stab wound, he hadn't seen Koru move. "Natsu!" that was Happy's voice, Natsu ounce again grabbed Koru's wrist and yanked the knife from his flesh. He grasped the wound as the sensation of floating took over.

His vision was bordering black and he could barely whisper to Happy to make sure that the assailant didn't follow them before his condition threw him into oblivion.

I hope this was long enough. I'm so so so so sorry that i hadn't updated in so long.
