I hope all of you had a good new year and a great holiday season. I did. With that said I hope all of you accomplish your New Years resolution. One of mine is to finish this story and I hope I will. Now lets dive right into it.

(Early the Next Morning)

Buzzz...Buzzz...Buzzz.

Andrew looked up from his bed and saw the alarm clock going off. The alarm clock just kept buzzing. He gets up from the bed and shuts it off and turns on the light by the bed.

"8:30 am it is way to earlier to wake up, but I have to get to the airport today. I have the Hopkins family coming and I told them I would meet them at the airport. Well I guess I better get ready and call the reception desk to get me a cab ready." said Andrew.

He walks into the bathroom. He washes his face off. After spending about 30 minutes in the bathroom he comes out dressed and ready to go. He walks over to the closet and grabs his Elite Four jacket and his hat and walks out the door. He takes the elevator down to the lobby and walks over to the reception desk.

"Good Morning Mr. Hanson we got a package for you last night. Do you want it?" asked the receptionist.

"Yes I do." said Andrew.

"Ok here you go." said the receptionist handing Andrew the package.

"This has to be the gift I want to give Katie today." said Andrew looking down at the box.

Andrew puts in his pocket and walks out of the hotel to see a cab outside waiting for him.

"Where to good sir?' asked the Cabbie.

"The airport." said Andrew.

"Ok." said the Cabbie.

It took the cab about 30 minutes to get to the airport. Once Andrew got there he payed the Cabbie and told him to stay there. Andrew walked into the airport and sat down in the waiting area. He waits for about 20 more minutes till the plane finally landed and the passengers were exiting. He stood up and started heading over to baggage claim to meet them. He walks over to and once he got there he saw two people walking over to him with a look on there face like they feel good to be here.

"You must be Andrew. I am Micheal and this is my wife Michelle and we are the Hopkins." said Micheal.

"Nice to meet both of you. Lets grab your luggage and get you two to your hotel." said Andrew.

They waited and grabbed their luggage as it came around the baggage claim. Afterward the three of them walked out of the airport and back to the taxi just waiting there for them. The three all got in the taxi and the taxi left.

"So what do the two of you do?" asked Andrew.

"Well Andrew I study the Distortion World." said Michelle.

"If I may ask what is it it? I do know that is supposedly where Giratina lives but other than that I do not know much about it." asked Andrew.

"Andrew you are right about Giratina living there but there is more to it. For example the Distortion World is said to be another world or a parallel world of ours." said Michelle.

"Wow! I did not know that." said Andrew.

"Also in the Distortion World there are no laws of physics." said Michelle.

"Thanks for sharing that with me." said Andrew.

"Not a problem." said Michelle.

"What about you Mr. Hopkins?" asked Andrew.

"Well I aid in the research for the creation of the pokedex." said Micheal.

"You helped make the pokedex for the US region." said Andrew.

"Yeah I did. And also when I was younger I was trainer too." said Micheal.

"I hate to interrupt your conversation but you are at your hotel." said the Cabbie.

The three of them step out of the Cab. Andrew pays for the cab ride and then rejoins where the other two were standing.

"Ok you two here is your hotel room so you two can go get checked in and rest for a little and once you are ready the park is about a 5 mintue walk form here. Just follow the signs and you will get there. I have a few more things to do then I will meet everyone at the park." said Andrew leaving them.

(Brady and Emma Down in the Hotel Lobby)

"Where is Katie?" asked Brady.

"She is asleep still in the room." said Emma.

"Ok then lets head to the park then." said Brady.

Once the two step out of the hotel they run into Andrew waiting for them.

"Hey Andrew." said Brady.

"Hey you two." said Andrew.

"Anyway we are going to go to the park we will see you there." said Brady walking away.

"Emma is Katie up yet?" asked Andrew.

"Yeah she is. She is waiting for mom and dad to call her." said Emma catching up to Brady.

Andrew takes out his phone and calls Katie.

"Hello Andrew." said Katie.

"Hi you seem a little down you were not expecting me." said Andrew.

"No I thought it was someone else." said Katie.

"Thats fine. Come on down to the Lobby I will meet you there." said Andrew.

"Ok I will be there in a few minutes." said Katie hanging up.

Andrew walks over to a couch and sat down. A few minutes later Katie walks over to where he was sitting. After that Andrew stands up and they walk out of the hotel.

(Outside the Hotel)

"They will call just give them some time." said Andrew.

"I know." said Katie smiling.

"Anyway happy birthday." said Andrew.

"Thanks." said Katie.

"Now lets go we have to head to the park." said Andrew.

The two walk over to the park.

(At the Park)

Once they get there Katie sees Ally sitting down next to Emma. She also sees Brady and in front of him a little cake and some gifts.

She walks over to them and sits on the right side of Ally and starts talking to her. After talking to her Katie looks up to were Andrew and sees two more walk over near. Katie looks closely and sees that it is her mom and dad. Katie gets up and walks over to them and hugs both of them.

"How?" asked Katie to her mom.

"You have to thank your friend Andrew here. He called us late last night and asked if we wanted to be here. He then got us a flight and meet us at the airport." said Michelle.

Katie stops hugging them and then walks over to Andrew and hugs him too.

"I will take that as a thanks." said Andrew.

Katie stops hugging him.

"Thank you so much Andrew." said Katie smiling.

Andrew was smiling. All of them walk back over to the table and begun to eat what Emma prepared and talked. After eating they cleaned up the table and begun to open gifts.

"I wish Emily could be here." said Katie looking at the sky.

"Whose that?" asked Andrew.

"That is my oldest sister." said Katie.

"What happened to here?" asked Andrew.

"She disappeared years ago on her journey." said Katie.

"Wow. I have never heard of anyone disappearing on a journey like that." said Andrew.

"Lets open the gifts then." said Emma distracting everyone from that moment.

"Ok." said Katie.

She first opens Ally's gift and sees it is Ally's special ribbon.

"Why Ally?" asked Katie.

"You will need it more then I do. I have my first one right here." said Ally showing off her new ribbon.

"What contest did you win?" asked Katie.

"I won the Hastings, NE. one. I barely edged out Gabby to win it." said Ally.

"Cool. thanks Ally." said Katie.

"I guess I will go next." said Brady handing Katie his gift.

She opens it and sees that it is a jacket.

"Thanks Brady." said Katie.

Emma then hands over her gift. Katie opens and finds this cute blue dress Katie was eyeing when they walked that shop yesterday.

"Thanks Emma I really wanted this dress." said Katie.

Both her parents hand over an envelope with money in it. Katie puts that in her jacket pocket.

"Thanks you mom and dad." said Katie.

"I guess it is my turn." said Andrew handing over this little box.

"What is it?" asked Katie.

"Open it and find out." said Andrew.

Katie carefully opens the gift and once she does she sees this golden necklace. She examines it closer. Her friends and family looked at it as well.

"What is it?" asked Katie.

"Well it is an Adamant Necklace. The gem inside was made from scrapes of the Adamant Orb." said Andrew.

"Thanks Andrew." said Katie putting it on.

"Well with that said lets clean up and head over to the Lake of Four Seasons to see the Butterfree off." said Andrew.

They all walked over to the Lake and found a place to sit as they do they see Butterfree start get up from the lake. As they did he became really dark. The Butterfree are using moonlight for everyone to see all the colors. There are reds and yellows. Purples and greens. It was a sight that no one wanted to miss. The whole town watched as the Butterfree started to fly around their mates as if it was the last time they will be here. They got even higher up in the air as they did the people all started to stand up. This is one of the moments that will never be forgotten. As the Butterfree started to fly everyone started to clap. After the last of the Butterfree left the whole town looked shocked when they returned there focus to the lake. They see a man standing there looking at all of them.

"Listen to me you. All pokemon are to be free like that. We should not control pokemon like we do. Once I awaken Reshiram with help form the lake spirits I will help all of you realize that pokemon are not to be controlled." said the man.

Andrew began to stand up and talk.

"Listen to yourself Claus you contradict yourself. You are going to control a pokemon to free pokemon. All you want is the power the legendary pokemon offers. You are going to use it to make others do your bidding. You will never be able to free pokemon from their trainers. As long as their is one trainer with one pokemon. That person will be defying you. What will you do. Send your pokemon after him. There will always be someone ready to defy you. Then what? With that you will never be able to force anyone to do what you want." said Andrew.

"Andrew do you hear yourself. When I awaken Reshiram who will disobey me with that much power on my side. Name one person Andrew. Can you?' asked Claus.

"I will and I know others will follow. All it takes is one to start revolution Claus." said Andrew.

Claus was left speechless standing there. As he looked around. Andrew clipped one of his pokeballs ready to go.

"Andrew why contradict me I will rule." said Claus leaving.

The people at the park all looked at Andrew waiting for a response but he did not say a thing. The people thought about it for a moment and started to whisper among themselves. He then sits back down and talks to them.

"Andrew I will stand right beside you when he tries to take control." said Katie.

"So will I." said Brady.

"Same here." said Emma.

"Thanks you three. You prove my point there will be plenty of trainers ready to defy him." said Andrew standing back up.

"Going so soon." said Michelle.

"Yeah I am. I hate to do this to all of you but I have to leave tonight and head back to DC and check in on the construction of the Pokemon League. After that I will be in California. If you three find yourselves there come to Sacramento and visit my family's lab. I will see all of you later." said Andrew.

"See you later Andrew." said Katie.

"Good luck on your guys journeys I look forward to seeing how much you have improved later." said Andrew leaving.

"He is a nice guy." said Micheal.

"Yeah he is." said Michelle agreeing.

"With all that said. Where are you three heading next?" asked Micheal to Emma.

"Well we are going to Nashville to get our third gym badge." said Emma.

"What about you two?" asked Brady to Micheal.

"Well we will head back to Boston and see everything there." said Micheal.

All of them leave the lake and headed to their sleeping spots. Katie, Emma, and Brady headed back to the Pokemon Center. Michelle and Micheal headed to their hotel and went to bed. The three sat up talking to each other at the Pokemon Center.

(At the Pokemon Center)

"We have to get to Nashville tomorrow." said Emma.

"We will." said Brady back to Emma.

"The gym there is bug type pokemon if I remember right." said Emma.

"That is right." said Brady.

"I guess we better do what Katie is doing if we want to get there tomorrow." said Emma.

"Yeah she is asleep." said Brady.

The two of them too after they got finished talking went to sleep.

(The Next Day)

The three trainers are awake in the Pokemon Center getting packed up ready to leave this town.

"Does everyone have everything?" asked Emma.

"I do." said Katie.

"As do I." said Brady.

"Well lets go catch the train to Nashville." said Emma.

The three walk out of the town and near the train station.

"Lets go get on the train." said Brady.

The three all walk onto the train and hand their ticket to the conductor and find a seat.

"So this train will stop in Indianapolis and then Elizabethtown." said Emma.

"Ok when they stop in Indianapolis we will get lunch there and then take it to Nashville." said Brady to Emma.

Katie and Emma both fell asleep as the train traveled towards Indianapolis while Brady sat and looked out the window. As he did he saw many flying type pokemon in the air and some grass pokemon in the bushes. He too begun to fall asleep. The three if them awake when the train stopped in Indianapolis. An announcement came over the speaker stating that they will stop here for 1 hour then will leave to Elizabethtown and stop there and then finally make it to Nashville.

"Ok lets go eat then." said Brady getting up from his seat.

All three of them get up from their seat and walk out from the train. They find a place to quickly grab some food and eat. They all order some burgers and fries and ate them outside. They wash up in the restroom and left the restaurant.

"We have about 20 minutes before the train leaves. What do you want to do now?' asked Brady.

"Well lets just go back to the train and wait." said Katie.

"Excuses me I hate to interrupt you three but I have to ask this but where did you get that necklace?" asked and older lady.

"Who's mine?" asked Emma.

"No yours young lady." said the older lady pointing at Katie's.

"Well the Champion gave it to me." said Katie.

"He did." said the older lady.

"I am sure." said Katie looking confused.

"Well that should be mine. I collect very expensive jewelry and I want that one." said the older lady.

"It's nothing special it is a golden chain with a small part of the Adamant Orb." said Katie knowing otherwise about it.

"Then let me buy it off you." said the older lady.

"No. He gave it to me yesterday and I am really in love with it." said Katie.

"Name your price young lady. Everyone has a price." said the older lady.

"I do not have a price on it because like I said it is not for sale." said Katie.

"Young lady it needs to be in my collection its that rare. I do not understand why you even care about that item unless you care about the person who gave it to you." said the older lady.

"I think I am going to leave we do not want to miss our train." said Katie walking away.

(Back On Board the Train)

"Ok lets get to Nashville now." said Emma.

"Yeah." said Katie.

The train leaves the station about 10 minutes after the three boarded the train again.

"The next stop is Elizabethtown. We are only there for about 25 minutes so we will reach Nashville by nightfall." said Brady.

"Thats good." said Emma.

2 hours after leaving the station the station they make it to Elizabethtown. The train comes to a stop and the doors open up.

"It looks like people are getting on here." said Emma as the train fills up.

"Yeah it does." said Brady back to her.

15 minutes after arriving the train leaves to Nashville. This is the last stop today for the train. So everyone on board is going to Nashville.

"There also is a Contest going on in Nashville in a couple days so it is not surprising that the train is full." said Katie.

"Yeah thats right Ally said that." said Emma.

Another 2 hour drive finally get them along with many passengers to Nashville, TN. When the train pulled in to the station everyone pilled to get out of the door. This prevented the Conductor from getting to the door. He pushed his way through and finally made it to the door. He then opened the door and the passengers all tried to rush out the doors. Katie Emma, and Brady sat in their seats and waited till the door way to clear up. They walked out the doors.

"Where do we begin here?" asked Emma.

"We should go tot he Pokemon Center get some beds and walk around town a bit." said Brady.

"Ok we could fine a place to eat." said Emma.

"That sounds like a good plan." said Brady.

(In Nashville)

"We should go check out the poffin shop when we get a chance Brady." said Emma.

"Yeah and there we can by some and use them." said Brady.

They walk into a rather empty Pokemon Center and walk over to the Nurse.

"Do you have any beds left?" asked Brady.

"Yes none of them are taken." said the Nurse.

"Why if I may ask?" asked Brady.

"This is one of the few cities that have three Pokemon Centers. So most of the people are at the one close to the arena where the Contest is taking place." said the Nurse.

"Ok lucky for us we are here to challenge the gym." said Brady laughing.

"Yeah it is because Zoe has not been really in the mood to battle lately maybe seeing you three will change that." said the Nurse.

The Nurse leads them to some beds. Katie, Emma, and Brady set their things down and walked out of that Center.

"A gym leader not in the mood to battle. Thats odd." said Emma.

"Yeah it is. Lets walk over to the gym and look at it." said Brady.

Our three trainers walked to the gym and found in front a closed sign.

"Why is there a closed sign here?' asked Katie.

"Lets walk in a find out." said Brady.

They walked over to the door and the door opened. They found a guy standing near a statue. He was in a black suit with white lines running horizontally and he had a gray tie. They walked over to him and talked to him.

"Sorry Zoe is not taking any battle right now I have been asked by her to hand anyone who walks in one these and say congrats." said the guy handing each of them the web badge.

"We want to earn that fairly and we want to battle her." said Brady not accepting the badge.

'She also said not to let them do that." said the guy.

"Does the Pokemon League know about her doing this?" asked Katie walking up to him.

"Sorry I do not have an answer for that. All I was asked to do is hand people these." said the guy.

A younger looking female in a black shirt and red pants walks over to them from the upstairs.

"Did I hear something about the Pokemon League?' asked the young lady.

"Sorry Miss Zoe these three would not leave." said the guy.

"Travis it is ok." said Zoe.

"Why are you doing this?" asked Brady to Zoe.

"Well I am bored. A trainer challenges me they win, I hand them a badge, and they leave. I am left standing there thinking about each and every trainer I battled and it is the same. I want something new. I would love to travel the US region like you trainers or even what most of the Pokemon League does. I cannot do that I am stuck here day and day out." said Zoe.

"Why not do something else?" asked Brady.

"Basically I have bought into the idea the Champion mentioned when he became it. Train and better the next great trainer." said Zoe.

"Then why are are you bored?" asked Brady.

"Most trainers walk out that door and never think about this battle ever again. I want a trainer that will remember this battle and improve and perfect what can only be better." said Zoe.

"Lets us battle you. Our battle will prove you that most do think about each battle." said Brady.

"Fine I will battle you right here tomorrow." said Zoe.

"I will prove to you in a battle that this is not a boring job." said Brady.

"Ok I hope you can." said Zoe.

Zoe leave them and heads back upstairs.

"I do hope you can help Miss Zoe." said Travis.

"I do too." said Brady.

Brady, Emma, and Katie all walk out of them gym and back on to the streets of Nashville which are rather busier then normal. After leaving the gym they find across the street a small little place to eat. The waiter leads them to a table and hands each of them a menu.

"The special here at the Tauros Grill is the Buffalo burger. That comes with french fries and pasta salad." said the waiter.

"We will take three of those." said Brady looking at Emma and Katie shaking their head yes.

"Ok I will bring you three of them one they are ready." said the waiter.

Waiting 30 minutes the waiter finally returns with their food. He hands each of them a plate which has burgers on them and he walks away. They finish eating leave the plates on the table tip the waiter one dollar and pay their bill. After the restaurant Katie, Emma and Brady return to the Pokemon Center. They lay on their beds and think about the gym battle ahead.

"Brady how are you going to beat her?" asked Emma.

"She has bug pokemon they are week against fire and flying types so I will use Murkrow." said Brady.

"OK so you do have a plan then." said Emma.

"Yeah I do and I fell really good going into the battle. I am done second guessing myself and I am going to focus on wining the battle." said Brady.

"Thats the Brady I know." said Emma.

"Well we better get some sleep. Since it looks like Katie is already asleep." said Brady.

"Yeah she can really sleep through a lot." said Emma.

"True she slept right through our conversation right now and we were talking loud." said Brady as he laid his down on his pillow.

Emma also layed her head down on the pillow. Minutes after they did that all three of them were asleep.

The B-Day thing was a last minute call on this chapter. At first I was not going to include it but I talked to some people that I personally know and they talked me into it to help the characters out.

I will not do all the Contests. So many go on so I will not even try. What I will do is that I will do the more important ones. Which is Nashville's that will happen in a few chapters. I will also mention the winner of some of them I do not write in this story.

Next I want to address Steven from last chapter. This is my bad I should have told everyone that he has challenged Andrew already. I mentioned it in Chapter 2 sorry that was on me. Also I did use the word Rematch in it meaning his rematch with Andrew. I still fill like I could have done more to him.

I have Question.
