(Examining the Night Sky Over Nashville)
"I think I should call someone about this." said Katie to herself as she looks up.
Katie runs back into the Pokemon Center and grabs her phone. She then runs back outside. To still see the colors in the sky. She looks down at her phone and sees her signal is not good. So making a call could be troubling, but she decides to make a call anyway. She puts phone near her ear and listened to it as it was dialing waiting for the other person on the other line to pick up.
(In a Hotel in DC)
A tired Andrew wakes up to his phone ringing. He tries to fine it on the nightstand next to the bed.
"Where is it?"asked Andrew to himself.
He finally finds it under some papers he was looking at last night. He answered the phone.
"Hello who's this?" asked Andrew.
"It's Katie." said Katie on the other line.
"Do you know what time it is Katie?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah it is 4:30 am." said Katie.
"Then better be important. I am usually still a sleep right now." said Andrew.
"It is do you remember the color show in the sky in Chicago?" asked Katie.
"Yeah I do." said Andrew.
"Well its over Nashville right now." said Katie.
"Are you serious?" asked Andrew.
"Yes I am." said Katie.
"Ok I will be there in an hour just record some of it so I can watch it when I get there." said Andrew.
"Ok I will see you when you get here." said Katie hanging up.
Andrew get up from his bed and walked into the bathroom. He washes his face off with some cold water. He then gets dressed and grabs his backpack in it he puts his laptop and a couple other items and walks out the door of his hotel room. Minutes after leaving the hotel room he was outside getting ready to leave on his Flygon. A few minutes later his Flygon and him take off heading towards Nashville. An hour after leaving in arrives in Nashville with the sky a normal color now.
(In Nashville)
His Flygon lands in front of the Pokemon Center from were he left from yesterday. He returned his Flygon and walked into the Pokemon. Once inside he saw Katie sitting down waiting for him.
"Good morning." said Katie.
"How are you always so perky?" asked Andrew sitting down next to her.
"I do not know I just have a lot of energy all the time. I have always been like this." said Katie.
"Its not like its bad or anything. I guess some have more energy then others." said Andrew.
"Ok I caught some of the colors in the sky." said Katie.
"Lets have a look then. So I want you to send it to me so I can play it on my laptop." said Andrew taking off his bag.
"Ok I will right now." said Katie.
Katie sends to Andrew and after receiving it he plugs his phone into his laptop and watches it very closely multiple times.
"What do you see?" asked Katie.
"I can say that the colors are moving from the east to the west. This is odd. If I remember correctly this was the exact same way in Chicago." said Andrew watching it closely.
After Andrew said that everything shuts off. The whole town lost power for about 10 minutes. The odd thing is when everything came back on all the clocks said the exact same thing. 4:30 pm and for the date February 20th, 2014. Andrew stops and looks at his watch it too says that. Andrew and Katie both look at their cell phones to their surprise it says the same thing.
"This is odd what could this be." said Andrew standing up.
"What could it mean?" asked Katie.
"I do not know but I might have someone who does." said Andrew.
Andrew then walks outside and makes a call to his friend in California. His friend picks up right away after Andrew called.
"Hey Tom. It's Andrew do you have a minute to talk." said Andrew.
"Yeah. Whats up?" asked Tom.
(Tom or Thomas Neveile is a Legendary Pokemon Expert. He studies them and the events that happen around them for a living. He and Andrew both went to the same Trainer's School in California. Andrew will talk to him periodically about certain events just like the events in Nashville.)
"Well Nashville had a nice showing of colors this morning." said Andrew.
"I know that. I awoke to an alert on my computer saying that. So I have been trying to find something on it." said Tom.
"Well I might be able to help with that a friend of mine called me about it. She was able to capture some of it on video on her phone. I have it on my laptop right now. So I can send it to right away." said Andrew
"Ok cool go ahead and send it my way." said Tom.
"That is not the oddest thing that happen though. The light show in Nashville was over for about an hour and then the power went off everywhere in Nashville. When it came back on it had a specific time and date." said Andrew.
"What did it say?" asked Tom.
"4:30 pm was the time and the date was February 20th, 2014." said Andrew.
"Ok I will research some events from that day that happened years ago maybe that will hold the answer to why that specific day and time. I will get back to you on that. So send me the video and I will call you later." said Tom.
"Ok I will talk to you later. bye" said Andrew hanging up.
Andrew then walks back into the Pokemon Center. When he walked in he saw Katie waiting for him to share some details with her.
"So what exactly happened Andrew?" asked Katie.
"Well Tom did not know exactly. So I am going to send him the video and he will get back to me later." said Andrew.
"Ok. Also your laptop was beeping. I think you have an email from someone." said Katie.
"Ok I will go check that know." said Andrew walking back to his laptop.
When Andrew walked over to it he sees he has four new emails from Jennifer Morgan. She is the temporary Pokemon League Commissioner after Roger left in the events that followed from what DD did in DC.
"Lets first send Tom the video for he can examine it closely. Then I will get to her." said Andrew.
He emails Tom the video. Afterward he opened Jennifer's first email. It said
Dear Andrew,
I have to inform you that an assistant of Professor Oak is coming to visit. He wants to talk about some of the events happening in Japan. He would also like to check on the Red and Blue Orbs. I told him that you will meet with him at the Smithsonian today at 2:30 pm. I would advice you to meet with him.

"Ok that is odd we usually never get visitors from the other regions unless it is important." said Andrew.
"What do you mean by that. I always thought that all regions were friendly to one another?" asked Katie.
"They are but usually the other regions let one another do their own thing and not get involved unless its serious." said Andrew.
"Could it do with the light show here?" asked Katie.
"It could I do not know for sure in till I meet with him or her." said Andrew.
"When do you have to?" asked Katie.
"Apparently today." said Andrew.
"Are you going to?" asked Katie.
"I am I fell it is good to get some knowledge of what is happening in Japan right now." said Andrew.
Andrew then sits back down on the couch and watches the video a couple more time seeing if maybe he missed something but after watching a couple more times nothing seems to change.
"Ok I guess I should see what else she sent me." said Andrew opening the other emails.
He reads them all and just laughs at what Jennifer said about some things she emailed him. He looks across the couch to see Katie sound a sleep. He stands up grabs a blanket from the back and covers her up. He walks outside to see the sun starting to peak up. So he decides to walk to the Town Square and walk around a bit before leaving back to DC. For about an hour he walked around just thinking about all the events that could unfold. He decides to go back to the Pokemon Center and pack up to head back to DC. When he got to the Pokemon Center he grabbed his backpack. He left a note for Katie and he packed up his laptop and he left.
(2 hours later in Nashville)
Emma taps Katie lightly to wake her up.
"Hey Katie. Why are you out here?" asked Emma.
"I do not remember falling asleep out here. All I do remember was talking to Andrew about the other regions." said Katie.
"Why was Andrew?" asked Emma.
"Do you remember the light show in Chicago?" asked Katie.
"Yeah I do." said Emma.
"Well early this morning the light show was over Nashville." said Katie.
"So then what?" asked Emma.
"I called Andrew and talked to him. He later said he would come over to see it while I waited for him to get her I recorded it." said Katie.
Brady just walked out of the bathroom and joined Emma and Katie in the front of the Pokemon Center.
"Continue Katie what else happened." said Emma.
"He talked to one of his friends about it and he said he would get back to him about it." said Katie looking at the table.
She looks to finds a note there left by Andrew. She picks it up and opens it but before she reads it she shows it to Emma and Brady.
"Here is my proof Andrew was here." said Katie showing them the note.
"I guess you are right that he was here." said Brady.
"What does the note say Katie?" asked Emma.
Dear Katie,
I left early and rather then waking you up to say good bye I thought I would leave this. I wish you three a lot of luck at the third gym. I will talk to you Katie later about the colors in the sky but other than that I will see you all later. Anyway I hope you all enjoy the rest of your day.

"Ok that says a lot." said Emma.
"You two ready for your gym battle?" asked Brady.
"Yeah I will be just let me get dressed." said Katie walking towards the back of the Pokemon Center.
"I wonder why Katie did not wake either of us up?" asked Emma.
"I would guess she would have her reasons but I do not know for sure." said Brady.
"I guess you are right about that Brady." said Emma.
About 30 minutes after Katie left she came out of the bathroom. She grabbed the case the necklace was in and she took it out and put it on. Then rejoined her friends waiting for her.
"It looks like everyone is here so lets go to the gym." said Brady.
They walk over to the gym and waiting for them there was Zoe. She was smiling ready for her battles today.
"Katie you are going first if I am right?" asked Zoe.
"Yes I am." said Katie.
"Ok if you would follow me to the arena and for your friends they can go to the bleachers." said Zoe
(In the Arena)
The two young ladies meet in the middle and Travis walks over to them ready to explain the rules.
"This will be a four on four pokemon battle. the battle will be over when one of the participants are out of pokemon. Only the Challenger can substitute. If you two would like you may walk over to your areas for we can begin." said Travis.
They both walk over their specific locations and both ready themselves.
"Go Beedrill." said Zoe.
"Thats odd I did not expect you to change pokemon form yesterday." said Katie.
"I thought I would mix it up a little." said Zoe.
"Ok I will still go with Vulpix." said Katie.
"You can have the first move." said Zoe.
"Thanks. Vulpix use flamethrower." said Katie.
"Dodge it Beedrill use sludge bomb."
Beedrill dodged the streams of fire coming from Vulpix. Afterward Beedrill shot out from his mouth a purple sludgy ball right at Vulpix.
"Vulpix aim your flamethrower at that sludge bomb."
As the sludge bomb came towards Vulpix rather then avoiding the attack. She changed the direction of the flamethrower right at the sludge bomb. Once the Sludge bomb was hit with the flamethrower it was burnt to a crisp and now it was coming towards Beedrill.
"Beedrill dodge it."
Beedrill moved out of the way of the stream of fire. Yes the Beedrill was able to move out of the way but its wings were hit with some of the flamethrower. this left burn marks on the wing of the Beedrill. It also forced Beedrill to the ground.
"Vulpix use fire spin on the grounded Beedrill."
A tornado of fire came at the grounded Beedrill. Beedrill was unable to move from where he was. So now Beedrill was burned and was also trapped in a vortex of fire dealing a massive amount of damage. If Beedrill cannot get out of that tornado of fire he will not last any longer in this battle.
"Come on Beedrill try to get out of there."
Beedrill tried and tried to at least leave the ground but he could not and was damaged some more from some of the flames jumping out from the vortex of flames surrounding the Beedrill. With a last effort the Beedrill tried to fly but alas it was for nothing. Once the Vortex cleared Zoe saw her Beedrill on the ground not able to continue.
"Beedrill is unable to battle, Vulpix wins." said Travis.
"You did great Beedrill return, and go Larvesta." said Zoe.
"I have not seen one of those before lets see what the pokedex says about it." said Katie taking out her pokedex.
"Larvesta, the Torch Pokémon. A Larvesta shoots fire from its five horns to repel its enemies. They live at the base of volcanoes." said the pokedex.
"Ok so Larvesta is a fire type so staying with Vulpix is not a good idea, so return Vulpix and go Poliwhirl." said Katie.
"I will go first this time, Larvesta use ember." said Zoe.
"Use water gun to stop that attack." said Katie.
Larvesta shoots out from her horns small streams of fire right at Poliwhirl. Rather than avoiding the attack Poliwhirl used water gun. This stream of water hits the ember and both attacks turned into steam. This steam covered the arena.
"Larvesta use take down."
"Poliwhirl wait till it is right in front of and blast her with water gun."
Larvesta charged right for Poliwhirl. As soon as Larvesta got about 2 inches from Poliwhirl. Poliwhirl shoots from his belly a stream of water right at Larvesta. The stream stopped Larvesta and pushed her back towards Zoe. Even with the water gun hitting Larvesta. She manged to get up and continue on.
"Poliwhirl use bubblebeam now on Larvesta."
As the bubbles came towards Larvesta. She could not avoid the attack and was hit with all the bubbles as the popped when they hit. After taking the bubblebeam Larvesta could not continue. So Larvesta fainted in front of her trainer.
"Larvesta is unable to battle, Poliwhirl wins." said Travis.
"Great job Larvesta return, and go Parasect." said Zoe.
"Great job Poliwhirl return and go Vulpix again." said Katie.
"Parasect use sleep powder." said Zoe.
"We will burn right through that with fire spin." said Katie.
As Parasect released a green powder that would put any pokemon a sleep who smelled it. Vulpix again created a tornado of fire. This tornado burned right through the sleep powder and know went for Zoe's Parasect.
"Parasect use dig."
The tornado approached Parasect quickly. Parasect dug underground to avoid from taking damage from that powerful attack. Minutes later the Parasect appeared about 6ft. from were the fire spin was going to hit him at.
"Now Parasect use energy ball."
"Vulpix use flamethrower."
The flamethrower overtook the energy ball and was headed straight for Parasect. This time around Parasect could not use anything so she took the hit and this caused her to have burn marks on the mushroom on the back of Parasect. It then relieved that the Parasect was unable to continue it fainted.
"Parasect is unable to battle, Vulpix wins." said Travis.
"Great job Parasect return, and go Venomoth." said Zoe.
"I will stick with Vulpix." said Katie.
"This time you can go first." said Zoe.
"Ok use flamethrower Vulpix." said Katie.
"Use Confusion to stop that attack and reverse back at her."
A stream of fire came towards Venomoth. Her eyes turned blue and then a blue aura was now covering the flames. Venomoth then reversed it right back at Vulpix. Vulpix took some damage from the reversed flamethrower but still continued in this battle.
"Ok that did not work I need a new plan now." said Katie.
"Venomoth use sludge bomb."
"Dodge it Vulpix and hit her with quick attack.
"Vulpix dodged sludge bomb and begun to pick up speed. Vulpix ran faster and faster towards Venomoth. Vulpix jumps off a rock to hit Venomoth. Venomoth took the attack. Venomoth just shook it off and stayed in the air as Vulpix landed on the ground.
"Now Venomoth hit that Vulpix with Poison fang."
"Vulpix blast her with flamethrower once it gets close you."
The teeth inside Venomoth's mouth turned purple and dived at Vulpix. Vulpix unleashed from her mouth a stream of fire. That stream of fire hits the Venomoth. This attack stopped Venomoth's and sent her back into the air. After Vulpix stopped her flamethrower Venomoth fell from the air and hits the ground right in front of Zoe. Venomoth did not move after hitting the ground.
"Venomoth is unable to battle, Vulpix wins. Katie is the winner." said Travis.
The two young ladies meet in the middle of the arena.
"I must say you are really good. You were one of my toughest opponents. I was not prepared for a fire type like your Vulpix but in the end it was a great battle and I am happy to give you this." said Zoe handing Katie the Web Badge.
"Thanks." said Katie.
"It looks like I have one more opponent." said Zoe looking at Emma.
"I am ready when you are." said Emma.
"Ok let me go heal my pokemon and then we can go. You can wait down here if you like." said Zoe.
So Katie returned to the bleachers while Emma waited in the arena for Zoe to return. Minutes later Zoe returned and was ready to go another round of battles.
(Emma vs. Zoe)
"I have three pokemon." said Emma to Zoe.
"Thats fine we will have a three on three battle then." said Zoe.
"Ok this will be a 3 on 3 pokemon battle between Emma and Zoe. The battle will be over when one trainer's pokemon are unable to continue. Only the challenger can substitute pokemon. Are you ready?" said Travis.
"Yeah I am." said Emma
"I am as well, go Larvesta." said Zoe.
"I will go with Ducklett."said Emma.
"Larvesta use ember." said Zoe.
"Use water pulse Ducklett."
Larvesta shoot out ember from her horns and directed towards the Ducklett. Rather then doing an attack the Ducklett flew off in the sky. The Ducklett did avoid the attack but did not attack either.
"Come on Ducklett use water pulse."
"Larvesta use string shot to slow Ducklett down."
Ducklett still did not use an attack rather she just flew around till she was caught in the sticky string that is string shot. The attack slew Ducklett down. This move did anger Ducklett and she dived right at Larvesta while diving her wings were white. The wing attack hits Larvesta and it did some damage. Larvesta continued with the battle.
"Ducklett wing attack once more."
"Larvesta ember."
Again the Ducklett was not listening to Emma. Ducklett was doing her own thing and this time it attacked with water pulse. Larvesta released from her horns little bits of fire combined it made ember. This attack was stopped by the ring of water coming at her from Ducklett's water pulse. After stopping that attack the water pulse continued to hit Larvesta. Larvesta did mange to continue but she was confused.
"This is not good, What to do with the confused Larvesta there is a chance I can use an attack but there is also a chance she can do damage to herself, but this as never stopped me before lets go with this. Larvesta use ember." said Zoe.
"Ducklett use water pulse again." said Emma.
Actually this time Ducklett did use water pulse even though it did not need too. Larvesta was burned by her own ember. The confusion played a part in Larvesta getting hit with it. This proved to be the down fall of Larvesta and she fainted.
"Larvesta is unable to battle, Ducklett wins." said Travis.
"In the end Larvesta made itself faint with the confusion, return Larvesta and go Joltik." said Zoe.
"Good job Ducklett, return, and go Combusken." said Emma.
"Joltik use electroweb."
"Combusken burn right through it with ember."
As Joltik shot out a electrified spider web at Combusken. Combusken shot out of his mouth a small amount of flames and shot it right for the web. Once the ember hit the web it was burned to a crisp and now the ember went right for Joltik. Joltik took the ember with out dodging it. Ember did damage to Joltik and showed on Joltik body as burned marks on her back.
"This is a battle I cannot win but as long as I can do damage to Combusken it will still be somewhat of a victory for me." said Zoe.
"Combusken use ember one more time."
Again Combusken shot out of his mouth a small stream of fire. It went right for Joltik.
"Joltik dodge it and use bug bite."
As the ember drew closer Joltik moved to avoid the attack and now set its sights on Combusken. She charged at Combusken with her fangs out ready to bite someone. Once she made it to Combusken she bit down on Combusken's right leg. The attack did make Combusken fall to one knee, but minutes after he was back on his feet ready to go. The damage was done thought on Combusken's right leg now there was a bite mark from Joltik.
"Lets finish this Combusken. Use fire spin."
A tornado of fire came barreling right for Joltik. She id not move from the attack and was hit with it. The attack kept doing each time Joltik tried to escape. This was the end of Joltik. As the tornado stopped all that was left was Joltik laying on the ground with burn marks covering her body.
"Joltik is unable to battle, Combusken wins." said Travis.
"Great job Joltik return, and go Venomoth." said Zoe.
"Combusken use ember."
"Dodge Venomoth and then follow up with Confusion."
Combusken unleashed small amounts of fire from his mouth right at Venomoth. Venomoth dodged the attack and then unleashed waves of blue aura right at Combusken. The blue waves hit with great accuracy. Combusken was sent back into the wall behind Emma. Combusken just fell down from there and hit the ground.
"Combusken is unable to battle, Venomoth wins." said Travis.
"Return Combusken, and go Herdier." said Emma.
Once the Herdier appeared from his pokeball his ability Intimidate was working he made this mean looking face that sent shivers down the back of Venomoth.
"Herdier use bite."
"Venomoth dodge it and then follow up with Confusion."
Herdier went right for Venomoth who was just a few feet from the ground. So as Herdier approached her, He jumped off the ground and tried to clinch the Venomoth in his mouth but that was all for nothing. Venomoth avoided the attack and blasted Herdier right back at his trainer with the waves of blue aura. Even being blasted Herdier still got up ready to continue.
"Venomoth poison fang."
Herdier we are going to use take down."
Venomoth approached with her teeth drenched in what looks like to be poison at Herdier. Herdier gained some speed and quickly took the Venomoth out of the air and into the ground. As Herdier landed he too took some damage from the recoil of his attack. Emma looked at the Venomoth waiting for her to lift off from the ground but she did not this battle was over.
"Venomoth is unable to battle, Herdier wins. Emma is the winner." said Travis.
"Great Venomoth return." said Zoe as she walked to the middle of the arena.
"Return Herdier." said Emma also walking to the middle.
"Thanks for the good battle. You deserve this." said Zoe handing Emma the Web Badge.
Brady and Katie join Emma and Zoe in the arena.
(After the Battle)
"Why did you change pokemon for our battle today?" asked Katie.
"Well to answer that I will gladly show you. If you three would follow me." said Zoe.
Zoe leads the three to a back room behind her gym which is full of bug type pokemon. Once back there three pokemon fly up to her. A blue Venomoth, a Butterfree, and a Combee.
"Thats a cool Venomoth." said Emma looking at the blue one.
"Thanks that is my male Venomoth but he is really rough around the edges in battles. So I do not use him. I rather use my normal Venomoth which all of you seen in battle." said Zoe.
"How many pokemon do you have?" asked Katie.
"I have 15 different bug type pokemon." said Zoe.
"Emma that Venomoth really like you." said Brady watching the blue Venomoth fly around Emma.
"I agree with you on that one." said Zoe interrupting their conversation.
They all continue walking around it. The whole time they walked around it the blue Venomoth still followed Emma. They seen a Pinsir, a Masquerain, and many other bug pokemon.
"Well I do not want to keep you here any longer then you need to. So on to the 4th gym for you three. That gym is in New Orleans. He specializes in fighting type pokemon." said Zoe.
"Ok we know where we are going then." said Brady.
The Venomoth still followed Emma as the walked out of the room and back into the gym.
"You know what Emma I am going to let you keep him. He likes you and I know he can be useful to you." said Zoe.
"Why would you do that?" asked Emma.
"As a thank you gift for getting me out of my slump. Let me go get his his pokeball for you." said Zoe walking away.
She returns with a pokeball in hand and a smile on her face. She hands over Venomoth's pokeball to Emma and tells the three thank you again. The three then leave the gym as Zoe watched them leave.
"Lets return to the Pokemon Center and rest." said Brady.
They walk back to the Pokemon Center and each of them hand their pokeballs over to the Nurse to get them healed. As soon as they sat down Katie's cell phone rings. She takes it out of her pocket to see that it was Andrew calling.
Thats the end of this chapter.
I wish I had more free time to work on it but there are not enough time in a day to do everything. I have 12 credits in college, I am looking for work, and many other things. I hate that but I usually only have 2 to 3 days of the week to work on a chapter. I do make the most of my time. I edit the previous chapter thanks to the reviews it tells me what I have to edit. I write a chapter plus starting the planning phase for my next story which I will explain later on. I went into this story not planning anything so this you can say is new to me. Trust this is not an excuse in any form I know what I am doing I have been writing for awhile. I bet everyone has had enough of me complaining about me. Lets get to the updates now.

Emma was given a Venomoth by the third gym leader.
Trainer Update:
Emma and Katie won their third gym badge.
Andrew has an important meeting with an assistant of Professor Oak's.
