I have been working on updating the first chapters the past week or so. I will now continue doing that too. I have really been getting writers block lately and that is why this chapter is past the date I usually update. I will try to find someway to keep doing this story. If I keep getting the writers block I have been I will have to put it on hold for a month and work on a new project.
(Match 2: Hayley vs. Jose)
"Go forth Jolteon." said Hayley.
"Golduck, go." said Jose.
"Both trainers can start now." said Bailey as the timer started.
(5:00)
Golduck: 100%
Jolteon: 100%
"Golduck use zen headbutt." said Jose.
"Dodge the zen headbutt and use thunderbolt, Jolteon." said Hayley.
A purple orb appeared on the head of Golduck after appearing Golduck charged at Jolteon. Jolteon dodged the attack with his speed and unleashed a powerful thunderbolt. It went right for Jose's Golduck. The attack made contact with Golduck and it did a massive amount of damage. Golduck fell to the ground.
"Golduck get up." said Jose.
"Your Golduck took a thunderbolt attack. You are asking for a lot to ask your Golduck to just stand up after that. Jolteon use thunderbolt one more time." said Hayley.
As Golduck got back to his feet he was struck again with a power electric attack. Everyone in the audience watched as Golduck's bar drop quickly after getting hit again. The clock struck 4 minutes as Golduck's bar finally stopped.

"Just after one minute and Jose's Golduck is past half way down. How is he going to recover from this?" asked Bailey.
Golduck again back to his feet.
"Golduck use aqua tail." said Jose.
"Jolteon dodge it and use thunder." said Hayley.
Golduck's tail became in cased in water and he went for were Jolteon was standing. Jolteon dodged the attack and it left Golduck confused on were he went and looking around Golduck was struck by powerful lighting attack that came from Jolteon. After getting hit by the attack Golduck fell to the ground and fainted.
"This round is over. Hayley and Jolteon are the winners." said Bailey.
Jose walks over to his Golduck who was finally coming to. He pats him on the head and looks over to where Hayley was standing and he saw her with her Jolteon just playing around a little. Golduck and Jose both stand up and as they do Hayley and her Jolteon walk over shake his hand and walk back towards the locker room. After shaking her hand he too walks back to the locker room.
"With that match over we now get ready for the next match." said Bailey.
The screen now shows the next match. As the arena got ready for this match a loud explosion could be heard and it caused the stadium to shake. It caused many of the patrons to stand up and walk outside.
(Outside the Stadium)
After running outside Brady, Emma, and Katie all saw fire shooting into the sky.
"What happened?" asked Emma.
As the gym leader runs by she stops and starts talking to them trying to explain everything.
"Well the pokemon research center here in Nashville was just attacked." said Zoe.
"By whom?" asked Emma.
"I think it was the Dark Destroyers." said Zoe.
"Why?" asked Brady.
"Well to cause trouble since the Contest was going. DD wanted to distract everyone from that and get them to focus on them and prove a point." said Zoe.
"I thought Andrew ran them out of town." said Katie.
"I do not know Katie I thought they would not do this but I guess they did." said Zoe.
(The National Pokemon Research Center in Seattle, Washington)
It was five hours before the attack on Nashville. Only one scientist was there and he was looking at the computer and typing numbers in. The door alarm was going off and the scientist was not paying attention and 3 masked men walk into the building. The scientist is still unaware of them till he noticed something on his computer. That scientist got up from his computer and ran towards the lab. When he got there he ran right into the three masked guys.
"What are you three looking for?" asked the scientist.
"You know what we are looking for." said one of the masked men.
The same one that talked signaled to the closer one to grab the scientist and he did.
"Now that you cannot run away you are going to tell us were the data about the lake spirits are." said the only masked man talking.
"No." said the scientist.
"I thought you would say that and I told two other guys to set some of our explosives to go off her." said the masked guy.
"I still will not tell you a damn thing." said the scientist.
The one doing all the talking pulled off the mask to reveal that it was a female and she had red hair only meaning that it could be one of the Captains of the Dark Destroyers.
"You listen here I will blow this place sky high unless you tell me were the data is." she said.
"I do not know I am only a developmental scientist. I do not do Legendary Pokemon. The team who does that just left. But you could check the lab in Nashville they might know something." said the scientist.
"Ok I will let it go this time but I hope you are not lying to use and if you are I know who you are I will find you." she said leaving.
The scientist was dropped to hit the floor. He just sat there for a few minutes before returning to his computer. He kept thinking about what they said and if he should do anything. But he chooses not to do anything and goes back to work.
After the event there an alert was sent to the Pokemon League. Once it was known that the Research Center was attacked the elite four dispatched one of their own their and Jennifer made immediate contact with Andrew to tell him of the situation. The plane he was in was in Germany refueling as he got the call.
(In Germany)
"Andrew thankfully I got a hold of you." said Jennifer.
"What up Jennifer?" asked Andrew.
"The National Research Center in Seattle, Washington was attacked early today." said Jennifer.
"Are you serious?" asked Andrew.
"Yes I am. We dispatched Morgan to there." said Jennifer.
"Did they take anything?" asked Andrew.
"I am not sure till Morgan get there." said Jennifer.
"This what I am going to do I am going to fly back to DC on Flygon and aid from there. I should be there in about four hours just give me some time." said Andrew.
"What about Japan?" asked Jennifer.
"That can wait this is now my concern." said Andrew.
"Ok I will see you when you get here." said Jennifer hanging up.
Andrew then walks back over to were Gary Oak was standing. Andrew explains the situation to him and told him her was flying back to the US. Gary in return told him that he will tell his Champion.
"Gary you can take the Meteorologist with you." said Andrew grabbing his stuff.
"Ok they will be able to help with the situation at hand in the region." said Gary.
'I got to go now." said Andrew calling out his Flygon.
"Get back safely and hope your region will be ok." said Gary.
"It will be." said Andrew leaving.
After leaving Germany Andrew arrived back in DC four hours later were three of his elite four members were standing around with Jennifer.
"Andrew you made it back safely." said Jennifer.
"Let's get right back to it. Mellisa you leave now and join Morgan in Seattle. Next Marc I need you here to get ready to leave just in case something else happens else where." said Andrew.
After saying that Andrew walks into his office and sits down removing his baseball cap and running his fingers through his brown hair. After sitting around for a few minutes another call comes in. This time it is from Nashville. Marc walks in and tell him.
"Do you want me to go?" asked Marc.
"No I will my guess is they are still there." said Andrew.
"Who?" asked Marc.
"I meant to say that when I get there the Dark Destroyers should still be there." said Andrew.
"Ok and for me." said Marc.
"Wait here for another call." said Andrew leaving.
(Back in Nashville)
"Should we go help?" asked Katie.
"You can." said Andrew landing on his Flygon.
"I thought you were not in the states." said Katie.
"I had to come back after I got a call about something in Seattle." said Andrew.
"What happened there?" asked Katie.
"The same thing that is happening now." said Andrew.
Once all of them got to the research it was empty and smoke was coming from it. Andrew stops one of the Scientist running out from it.
"Who's in there?" asked Andrew.
"Just one guy and a couple of masked men." said the scientist.
"Did they say anything?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah one was talking about the three lake spirits." said the scientist.
"This is not good I have to go in there and stop them." said Andrew.
"What about the fire?" asked Brady.
"It is on the other side of the center I should be able to get into it and out of it before it spreads." said Andrew.
"I will come with you." said Katie.
"Same here." said Brady.
"I will come too." said Emma.
"Zoe I need you to stay out here and wait for the fire department to arrive. We should be out of there by time they get here." said Andrew.
"Ok I will." said Zoe.
Andrew, Brady, Emma, and Katie walk into the building. They see two guys just standing around talking. Andrew calls out his Gengar.
"Gengar use Hypnosis on those two." said Andrew.
Gengar flew over them and moved his hands up and down and released waves of purple energy. As soon as the guards knew what hit them they were out cold. Andrew then returns Gengar and they all continue to walk. They come to a split which goes two ways. One leads them to the room were the the scientist and the DD guys are and other leads them to the control center were they can shut down all the computers in the area.
"Brady and Emma you to can head to the control room and shut everything off. While me and Katie will go rescue the scientist and scare off these mask men." said Andrew.
"Ok be careful Katie." said Emma going with Brady.
(Andrew and Katie)
"Andrew I thought you were suppose to be in Japan tomorrow." said Katie.
"I was but I had to fly back to DC as soon as I got a call from Jennifer." said Andrew.
"What..." said Katie getting interrupted by Andrew.
"Quiet look ahead of us there are two of the three masked guards." whispered Andrew.
"How are we going to take them out?" asked Katie.
"I will use the same tactic from before Gengar putting them to sleep." said Andrew calling out Gengar.
Again Gengar flew over waved his arms up and down which caused the Hypnosis. The two masked guards fell to the ground and fell a sleep. Andrew and Katie walk to them and remove the masks. They were shocked to see it was a familiar face from before. The door swung open to the third and final masked one walk out.
"We meet again Andrew." said the masked guy.
"How do you know me. I sure do not recognize you." said Andrew.
The masked guy removes his mask to reveal that it is the same red hair female from the events in Seattle.
"How about now?" she asked.
"I meet so many people you will have to do better then that." said Andrew.
"I love playing this game with you but I have to go." she said tossing a smoke bomb down with one arm and had the scientist in the other.
The room filled with smoke. It caused Andrew and Katie both to cough. Andrew reaches for another pokeball on his belt.
"Go Staraptor. Clear out this smoke." said Andrew coughing.
Minutes later the smoke has cleared and the three masked DD members were gone. Katie was still coughing. Andrew wraps her hand around his back and helps her out. As they returned to the split path he sees Emma and Brady running out.
"You two ok?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah we are lets head out of here." said Emma.
The four walk out of the building to see that Zoe was with a couple firefighters putting out the fire.
(Outside the lab)
Andrew leads Katie to a place to sir down and sits her down.
"Thanks." said Katie softly.
"Your Welcome." said Andrew.
"Did they get away?" asked Katie.
"Yeah they did." said Andrew.
"What are you going to do now?" asked Katie.
"I will return to DC and begin the tedious task of tracking them again." said Andrew.
"What does that mean?" asked Brady.
"Well my elite four and myself will begin to track their movements and hopefully that will lead us somewhere. The Dark Destroyers are not the easiest to track they always find a way to avoid capture. Which makes our job even harder." said Andrew.
"How will this event affect the contest?" asked Katie.
"Honestly I do not think it should." said Andrew.
"It did though." said Katie.
"I know they probably evacuated the building after the security staff their heard the explosion." said Andrew.
"I guess I can stop back there give them the all clear and return to DC." said Andrew.
They all walk back to the stadium holding the Contest and Andrew joins the three judges and the MC and they talk about they are going to do.
(At the Stadium)
"Well I think we should just postpone the rest till tomorrow." said Vance.
"Why do that when the area is clear from the DD." said Andrew.
"That is not the point I do not want to risk my health and the health of the Coordinators." said Vance.
"DD would have never interfered with the Contest they have their personal agenda." said Andrew.
"Yeah and that is to rid trainers of their pokemon." said Vance.
"Many people flock to Nashville at this time to take part in the contest why make them wait when it is all clear continue." said Andrew.
"Then at least stay for the rest of the contest to prevent an attack." said Vance.
"If I say yes we will continue this Contest." said Andrew.
"Yeah we can." said Vance.
"I will then." said Andrew.
The Coordinators have returned to the locker rooms. As the guest fill in the stands. The judges return to their spot and the MC has signaled for the next match to get ready.
"So the next match of the day is the hometown girl Jenna DiMartin versus Kyle. Will both Coordinators take their rightful spot."said Bailey.
As the crowd sees Jenna walk out the crowd starts screaming and yelling and clapping. It has become hard to hear the MC speak with the crowd the way it is.
(The Contest)
(Match 3: Jenna vs. Kyle)
"Go Rhydon." said Jenna.
"Go Magmar." said Kyle.
"The clock will now be set to 5 minutes." said Bailey.
(5:00)
Magmar: 100%
Rhydon: 100%
"Magmar use flamethrower."
"Rhydon use earthquake to block the flamethrower."
Magmar shot from his mouth a stream of fire towards Rhydon. Rhydon stomps the ground and creates a pile of rocks in front of him. The rocks took the whole flamethrower.
"Rhydon now use rock blast at Magmar."
Rhydon now picks up some rocks and starts throwing them at Magmar. The first few missed Magmar but after that the rest hit him.
(In the audience)
"She relies on that Rhydon for peer power." said Andrew who was sitting next to Katie.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Katie.
"Well Rhydon is slow so avoiding an attack is going to be hard. The only way I can think to use a Rhydon to block attacks is to use his attacks." said Andrew.
(Back to the Contest)
"Magmar use fire punch."
"Use take down Rhydon."
As Magmar came at Rhydon with his right fist covered in flames. Rhydon starts charging at Magmar and once he hits Magmar it send him flying back.
(4:00)

Rhydon: 89%
"Magmar use brick break on Rhydon."
"Rhydon use stone edge to send him back."
Small stones collected around the belly of Rhydon. After enough was around him he let out a yell and the stones all charged at Magmar. Magmar was unable to hit Rhydon with his brick break. After getting hit with the stone edge Magmar had some scratches.
"Rhydon now use mega horn."
Rhydon charges at Magmar with his large horn leading the way. Rhydon hits Magmar and it send him to the ground on one knee.
(3:00)

Rhydon: 85%
"Magmar use brick break one more time."
"Rhydon use rock blast."
Rhydon tosses rocks at Magmar as they came at Magmar he broke each one with his brick break.
(In the Audience)
"Smart thinking on Kyle's part to use his own attack to protect Magmar from the rocks." said Andrew.
"How does that help?" asked Brady.
"It will protect him from taking any damage and also if you look at the screen it did cost Jenna some." said Andrew.
"Why does Kyle keep trying to land a fighting type move?" asked Katie.
"If Kyle can land a fighting type attack he could do massive amount of damage to Rhydon. Since a fighting type attack is super effective against a rock type pokemon." said Andrew
(Back to the Contest)
"Magmar use cross chop."
"Rhydon use earthquake."
The ground begins to shake around Magmar as he came after Rhydon. As he got closer Magmar was hit by one of the rocks coming up from the ground and was sent into the air.
"Rhydon lets end this use giga impact."
As Magmar was high in the air Rhydon was surrounded in and orange and purple and then charged at full speed as Magmar got closer to the ground. Magmar was hit and he was sent to the ground. Magmar tried to stand up but could not he end up laying there fainted.
"That will end this match Jenna and Rhydon wins." said Bailey.
The crowd begun cheering for Jenna as she stood there with her Rhydon. After taking it in Jenna returns her Rhydon and walks back to the locker room.
(In the Locker Room)
"Good job out there." said Ally to Jenna.
"Thanks" said Jenna.
(At the Arena)
"We have one more match for this round and that is Caitlynn versus Jake." said Bailey.
The arena gets cleaned up and prepared for the next match.
(Match 4: Cat vs. Jake)
"Ok lets welcome our next two oppenets. First up is Caitlynn from Columbia Falls, Montana." said Bailey.
She walks out with a determined look on her face. She is ready to for this round to start.
"And her opponent is Jake Edwards from Baton Rouge, LA." said Bailey.
He walks out with a big smile on his face. He fells lucky enough to be here.
"Go Vaporeon." said Cat.
"Go Scyther." said Jake.

"Scyther use x-scissor."
"Vaporeon use dig to dodge that attack."
Scyther's scythes begun to glow white as he charged at where he thought Vaporeon was standing but she was not there. All that was their was a hole.
"Vaporeon now attack his Scyther."
Vaporeon pops up from another hole right underneath Scyther. Vaporeon hit Scyther and did some damage to him.
"Scyther use slash."
"Counter that Vaporeon with ice beam."
Scyther charged at Vaporeon but instead of hitting Vaporeon with one of his scythes. Scyther was blasted with a powerful icy attack. Scyther used his scythes to block that attack. The icy attack froze Scyther's scythes. Scyther looked down with panic look when he looked back up.
(In the Audience)
"Cat has the advantage right now." said Andrew
"Scyther will have to break the ice on his scythes if he wants to attack." said Brady.
"And that is why she does have the advantage she can now attack and Scyther will have a hard to avoid it because of that ice." said Andrew.
(Back to the Contest)
"Scyther break that ice by slamming them on the ground."
"Use hydro pump Vaporeon."
Right before Scyther slams his scythes he get blasted by a powerful torrent of water. It causes Scyther to get slammed into a wall behind Jake. When Scyther got slammed the ice did break.

Scyther peels himself off the wall ready to continue.
"Scyther use air slash."
"Vaporeon use dig again."
Scyther created two air pockets with his scythes and sent them at Vaporeon. Vaporeon again dug underground to avoid that attack. She later popped back out as soon as the air slashes hit the wall.
"Vaporeon use hydro pump one more time."
Once that stream of water hit it again sent the Scyther against the back wall.
"Now Vaporeon use ice beam to freeze Scyther against that wall."
Once the icy attack hit the Scyther it froze him to that wall.

The MC looked over at the judges looking for a solution about the frozen Scyther.
"Well I guess we have to call the match over because Scyther cannot continue. So that means Cat and Vaporeon are the winners." said Bailey.
"I guess that is fair." said Jake.
"A win is a win." said Cat.
Cat the walks back to the locker room and looks at the screen as it is about to show the next round of matches.
"Ok here are the semi-final matches." said Bailey pointing at the screen.
Match 1: Cat vs. Jenna
Match 2: Ally vs. Hayley
(In the Audience)
"Wow Ally has her work cut out for herself." said Katie.
"Yeah she does I know Hayley and her Jolteon is something you do not want to mess around with." said Andrew.
"How do you know her?" asked Katie.
"I will answer that later." said Andrew.
(Back to the Contest)
"Ok do to the events that happened earlier the next matches will happen tomorrow. So with that said I will now dismiss all of till then." said Bailey.
The judges make the way to the exit and they leave. Minutes after they left the participants made there way to the exit to the practice arenas.
"The next matches will start tomorrow at 7:30 am. So if you want to watch them make sure you are here. This has been Bailey and we are done." said Bailey.
After she said that the audience begun to clear out. While this is all happening Jake is trying to thaw out his Scyther.
"I will catch up to you three outside I am going to go help him out." said Andrew hopping over the wall into the arena.
Emma, Brady, and Katie exited the building and waited fro Andrew at the practice arena.
"Let me help you Jake." said Andrew calling out his trusted Flygon.
"Thanks." said Jake.
"Hey do not let this discourage you from doing this. Let me tell you no one can get it on the first try." said Andrew.
"How did you know this was my first Contest?" asked Jake.
"I just know these thinks." said Andrew.
Andrew signaled over to his Flygon. Then Flygon claws begun to glow white and he hit the ice and it shattered.
"What did you use to shatter the ice?" asked Jake.
"I used my Flygon's dragon claw." said Andrew.
"Thank you." said Jake.
"Just keep practicing it will come. Also get Scyther to a pokemon center to warm him up." said Andrew.
"Ok I will." said Jake leaving.
Andrew walks out right after him and joins Brady, Emma and Katie on the practice arena.
(Outside the Stadium)
"There you are." said Katie.
"I had to help Jake get his pokemon out of the ice." said Andrew.
"You have to help everyone don't you Andrew." said Katie.
"Yeah I do. It is part of being the Champion." said Andrew.
"I know." said Katie.
"If you three want we can go get some food and then head back to wherever you are staying." said Andrew.
"Ok." said Brady.
They all left to the closest restaurant and sat there and ate. They talked about the events that happened in the lab and Andrew took the time to explain why he thought they were there. They left shortly after eating and Andrew walked back with them to the Pokemon Center.
"I will see you three tomorrow at the Contest Stadium." said Andrew leaving them there.
Well this is the end of this chapter. DD is definitely up to something sinister. It will surface as the plan becomes forward. Andrew was forced to return to the US after the two explosions at various Labs. I was wrong it will take another chapter to finish the contest but it will get done.
