(Sometime After the Battle)
"Cat it is hard to believe that my ace Blaziken did not mange to take one of his pokemon out." said Dan.
"Dan when you face him again just remember that Andrew is a tough opponent and he knows how to battle very well but the one thing that was clear form your battle with him is that he excels at type advantage." said Cat.
"Sorry to interrupt but Dan your pokemon are ready." said the Nurse.
He walks over to her gathers his pokeballs and they walk out.
"So Cat where the next contest for you?" asked Dan.
"We have two next week and the next big one is in Sacramento in about a month." said Cat.
"It is likely Andrew will be there. So I will be able to get my rematch there and the next time the results will be different." said Dan.
"You sure are determined to face him again." said Cat.
"If I cannot beat him there I will then have to wait till the Champions Cup for it." said Dan.
"That would be awesome if you could win that and I won the Grand Festival." said Cat.
"I know only one place to train at. And that is in my hometown." said Dan.
"That would be a good place for me to get ready for the next Contest in Dale City, Virginia." said Cat.
Shortly after that conversation ended they left Nashville towards Indian Head, MD. As they left Brady, Emma, and Katie just walked into the pokemon Center for the night.
(Inside the Pokemon Center)
"I still do not understand what Andrew meant" said Katie.
"Like we said earlier you have to ask him when you see him again." said Emma.
"Ok I guess I will wait." said Katie.
"Now that this is over lets go to bed for we can leave tomorrow." said Brady.
They all layed on the beds. Emma and Brady fell asleep. Katie just layed there still thinking of what Andrew said. She was in deep thought which eventually lead to her falling asleep.
(The next Morning)
The three of them woke one right after the other at about 6 to start the day off.
"Lets get ready to go we have a long walk ahead today." said Brady.
They all walked to the bathrooms and got dressed and met in the front. Emma and Brady were waiting on the couch waiting for Katie who was sitting on the bed she slept in looking down at her necklace.
"Andrew you can be one mysterious person. I wish I knew why but I guess you have your reasons. One day I will understand why though." said Katie looking up smiling.
She puts the necklace on, grabs her bag and joins Emma and Brady. The three of them make their way to the exit and as they exited they see Zoe walking in.
"You three leaving so soon." said Zoe.
"Yeah we have to be in New Orleans to face our next gym leader." said Brady.
"Good luck at that gym. The leader has a tough fighting spirit and his pokemon are tough too." said Zoe.
"Thanks Zoe." said Brady as they walked out pf the pokemon center.
"I was looking at the map and we want to make it to Franklin, TN by nightfall." said Brady.
"How far is the walk from here.?" asked Katie.
"It is about a six hour walk as long as we do not stop we should be there by noon." said Brady.
After that was said they left the city of Nashville heading towards Franklin. As they walked they see a wide variety of flying type pokemon as well as a few Furret's playing among the trees. One of the Furret ran over to the three of them stood up on its hind legs and then ran back into the trees.
"I think they are playing with us." said Emma.
"Yeah they are." said Brady.
After that Furret ran back into the tree our three travelers continued on their way. The only way they stopped was to take a drink of water or have some the trail mix they bought at the pokemon center. About an hour later that same Furret they saw once they left Nashville was still following them. They stopped after taking a few steps and turn around to see the Furret run into the bushes. It was like this all the way till the reached the Harpeth River.
"I think that Furret wants to travel with one of us." said Emma.
"Who do you think that Furret wants a trainer?" asked Katie.
"Well only one way to find out." said Brady.
All three of them stop and turn around the Furret stopped and looked confused for a minute then walked up to Katie.
"Well it looks like it choose its trainer." said Brady.
Katie takes out her pokedex and points it at the Furret.
"Furret the Long Body Pokemon. Furret is a normal type pokemon. Furret can stand on its hind legs but prefers to to be on four. Furret is much quicker when it is on all four. Furret's are very quick and agile. It tends to burrow itself deep in meadows." said the pokedex.
"Well I should battle it then." said Katie grabbing her Poliwhirl pokeball.
(Wild Pokemon Battle Katie vs. Furret)
"Go Poliwhirl." said Katie.
Furret changed from standing up to on all fours.
"Poliwhirl us bubblebeam."
Poliwhirl shot out from his belly a serious of compacted bubbles right at Furret. Furret quickly dodged the attack and used dug deep underground.
"Poliwhirl be on alert. She can pop out of anywhere."
A few seconds after Katie said that Furret dug up behind Poliwhirl and charged at Poliwhirl with what looks like to be thunderpunch.
"Quickly use brick break Poliwhirl."
As Poliwhirl slammed brought his hand Furret broke off her attack and dodged the brick break. This sent Poliwhirl's hand into the ground. The ground split a bit where the attack made contact.
"Damn that Furret can move." said Brady watching the battle.
"Poliwhirl use water gun."
Poliwhirl shot from his belly out a stream of water right at Furret. Furret jumped into the air then landed a few feet from where the attack was designated at. She then ran straight for Poliwhirl with yet again another thunderpunch.
"Use brick break once she gets close enough Poliwhirl."
As Furret was about to land her thunderpunch Poliwhirl brought down his fist right into the back of Furret. The attack sent Furret to the ground. Katie then grabs one of her empty pokeballs and tosses it at her. It moves once then twice and then one final time and then she was captured. Brady and Emma join her as she picked up her new Furret's pokeball.
"Anyone else find it odd how this Furret knows thunderpunch?" asked Brady.
"What are you thinking Brady?" asked Emma back to him.
"All I am saying I do not think this Furret is just a wild one. I think she may have been abandoned by a trainer." said Brady.
"You could be right but then again if you remember she was with two other Furret." said Emma.
"Oh well whatever the deal with the Furret was it is over now. She is with Katie and knowing her she will never abandon a pokemon." said Brady.
"Well I think we should cross this river now rather then sit here and debate about the Furret." said Emma.
"Yeah we should. We just need to find a boat." said Brady.
The walk up the river some and they find this little shack with an old man just standing there. And across from the shack in the water was a couple row boats. They walk up to the shack. On the counter there is a sign saying boats for rent. Brady walks up to the counter and the old man turns around. The old man had a long beard and gray hair as well. He was in a old shirt that has what looks like a small kid on it.
"Hello." said Brady.
The old man did not respond.
"Hello." said Brady again.
"Sorry I did not see you there." said the old man.
"Can we rent one of your boats?" asked Brady.
"Yeah you can just take one." said the old man.
"Are you alright?" asked Katie walking over.
"Not really a year ago today my son went missing on his journey." said the old man.
"Wow that is sad how did he go missing?" asked Katie.
"The police never told my wife and me anything. All they gave us was his pokeballs and his hat." said the Old Man.
"That was the same thing that the police told my mom and dad about when my oldest sister Emily went missing." said Katie.
"Odd it seems that we both had family missing." said the Old Man.
"My mom and dad never gave up hope that one day she would return." said Katie.
"It seems odd both my sons went on a journey. Morgan my oldest went on his two years ago and just this year he was chosen by the Champion to be part of his elite four. But my youngest Timothy never returned from. Sorry about wasting your time you can pick any boat and I will take you across the river." said the old man.
They all walk over to a boat and get in while the old man unties the boat from the dock and gets aboard before it drifts away. It took about 15 minutes for them to cross the river.
"Good luck on your journeys." said the old man turning his boat around and heading back to the other side.
"It seems odd how people just disappeared on their journey." said Katie.
"Yeah it does maybe someone really needs to look into it." said Emma.
"Maybe we should give Andrew a call and ask him about it." said Katie.
"You should when we get into Franklin." said Emma.
(In DC)
"Jennifer can I have a word with you?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah sure lets head into your office." said Jenifer.
They walk into his office Andrew finds a seat behind his desk where is laptop was open and on a webpage.
"Hey Jennifer I want you to do some digging for me?" asked Andrew.
"On what if I may ask?" asked Jennifer back.
"Disappearing kids while they traveled." said Andrew.
"What made you want to look up that?" asked Jennifer.
"Something a friend talked about earlier. I just never had time to look into it." said Andrew.
"Where should I start?" asked Jennifer.
"How about talking to the editor of Poke News. He posted an article on it about a year ago." said Andrew.
"Ok I can do that." said Jennifer.
"Call me as soon as you find anything I want to talk to Morgan anyway to see what he knows since his younger brother disappeared a year ago." said Andrew.
"I will." said Jennifer walking back to her desk.
Minutes after she left to her desk Andrew left to the training arena where he found Marc, Morgan, and Melissa training.
"Hey Andrew." said Marc walking over to him.
"Hi Marc I need to talk to Morgan." said Andrew
"He is in a foul mood so tread lightly." said Marc walking to Melissa.
After Marc did Melissa and Marc both left leaving Andrew and Morgan alone.
"Morgan come over." said Andrew calling Morgan over.
"What the hell do you want?" asked Morgan.
"I want to ask you what you know about your disappearing" said Andrew.
"How do you know about that?" asked Morgan.
"I was doing some research about it." said Andrew.
"He begun the same way I did. He got his first pokemon at the lab in Nashville he left the next day towards the first gym. He battled hard each and every gym he went till he made it to the 9th gym. He was training in the woods that night and the next morning my family received a call from the pokemon center he was staying at that he never checked in. The next day my dad and me flew to that pokemon center and spent two weeks searching up and down the woods he was training at. All we found was his belt with his six pokeballs attached to it. After two weeks we returned home and waited for a phone call from the police to tell us if they found anything. They never called. We waited day and night for that phone call. Nothing ever happened. We waited months still nothing. It has been one year and my dad never gives up hope." said Morgan.
"I understand I would like to do a little digging if you do not mind I would like to access your brother's profile on the leagues website." said Andrew.
"I thought you had access to everyone's." said Morgan.
"Not all the Champion at that time locked his along with 11 others." said Andrew.
"He never told us this." said Morgan.
"So do I have your permission." said Andrew.
"You do." said Morgan.
"Ok I will leave to your training." said Andrew about to leave.
"One more question. How many disappeared?" asked Morgan.
"My guess 12 if not more." said Andrew leaving.
Andrew then returns to his office and sits down in front of his laptop and logged on to the league's website and entered his information. He now can see over a million names who have been on a journey, are on a journey, or are about to begin a journey. Andrew searched for Timothy's profile and made it to it. He enter all the information to open and as soon as he did. Andrew was shocked to see that the case was closed two months after he disappeared. He dug a little deeper to see that his last phone call was Mr. Rodger Goodsworth. He disappeared about an hour after receiving that call.
(Back to Emma, Brady, and Katie)
"We are close just keep following this road." said Brady.
They kept following the road and finally made it to Franklin. The first thing they wanted to do was go find a place to eat. And after doing that find a pokemon center to stay the night at.
"This place looks like a nice place to eat." said Katie pointing at small Bistro.
"It looks nice lets stop here and eat." said Emma.
They walked in and sat down and the counter. They all ordered the famous Ekans Sandwich. It was actually made from snake so the name fits the sandwich. After eating that they all order shakes for desert. Each of them drank it all down and left towards the pokemon center in the center of town. They checked in and the nurse showed them to their beds.
"Maybe it is time to call Andrew before we do anything else." said Emma.
Katie then takes her phone out and dials Andrew's number. It rang for a few seconds then Andrew picked up.
"Hi Andrew." said Katie.
"Is something up?" asked Andrew.
"No I was just wondering what you can tell me about a missing person." said Katie.
"Rather then trying to explain it over the phone I will fly over to you three and explain it in person." said Andrew.
"When are you going to get here then?" asked Katie.
"Well depending on where you are I should be able to be there within an hour." said Andrew.
"We are in Franklin." said Katie.
"Aw nice small town I should be there in an hour I will talk to you then." said Andrew.
"Why are you even flying around now?" asked Katie.
"I was on my way to Atlanta to talk to the family of the first missing kid." said Andrew.
"How do you know about that?" asked Katie.
"We are not busy here at the league so I thought I would do something to keep busy." said Andrew.
"Isn't the league reopening?" asked Katie.
"Yeah I will be back before that take place in two days." said Andrew
"Ok then I will see you when you get here." said Katie hanging up.
(An Hour Later)
Andrew shows up on his Flygon at the pokemon center. He then returns Flygon and walks in. Katie is waiting for him on the couch in the front of the Pokemon Center.
"So what is that question?" asked Andrew.
"Do you remember I talked about my sister went missing. Now I know someone else who's son is missing. So I was just wondering what the league knows about it." said Katie.
"We are looking for as much info as we can on it. I have just scratched the surface on how many went missing last year. It is quiet shocking that 12 people went missing. We do not know how and why shortly after they did all their profiles on the leagues webpage were locked." said Andrew
"So basically you know just as much as as I do then." said Katie.
"Yeah." said Andrew.
"Could a pokemon do this?" asked Katie.
"I do not know. This world is full of pokemon I do not know all of them. I guess anything is possible but till I know for sure a pokemon did this. It is highly unlikely they did." said Andrew
"Then who could have done such a thing?" asked Katie.
"I am not quiet sure yet." said Andrew.
"Can you keep me informed as you get info on it?" asked Katie.
"Sure" said Andrew.
"One more thing. What did you mean with what you said the other day?" asked Katie.
"Well Katie.." said Andrew before he was interrupted by an abrupt power outage.
Both Andrew and Katie walked outside to see that the whole town was black. The Nurse also walks out and tells that the emergency generator has not kicked in yet and she wanted to know if Andrew could go check them. Minutes later it started to rain. Andrew then walks over to the generator and opens the hatch to see that a plug was not plugged in. He did so and power came back on in the pokemon center. He walked back into the pokemon center where Katie was waiting for him.
"It looks like I will stay here tonight." said Andrew.
"Why?" asked Katie.
"I do not like flying with Flygon in the rain." said Andrew.
"Ok." said Katie.
"I will go get another bed ready then." said the Nurse walking to the back.
"Where is Emma and Brady?" asked Andrew.
"They were walking to the forest to search for some pokemon to catch before the power went out." said Katie.
"Let's go find them." said Andrew.
"Damn I left my coat in Nashville." said Katie.
"You can have mine. I always bring extra." said Andrew handing her his as he put another one on.
They walk outside. Both are in complete rain gear to protect them from all the water.
"Where do we start?" asked Katie.
"We do not Staraptor will find them and we then will go to them." said Andrew tossing out Staraptor.
Staraptor quickly took off into the direction of the forest and looked carefully around to find them. It took him about 15 minutes after leaving Andrew to find them. They both were huddled under a tree to protect them from the rain. And back at the pokemon center Andrew and Katie waited till Staraptor returned. Once he did Andrew and Katie followed Staraptor to them.
(In the Forest)
Staraptor circled around them as Andrew and Katie got closer.
"Hey Brady look up it is a Staraptor." said Emma shivering.
"It is. Whose do you think it is?" asked Brady.
"I do not know but he found us so he must have brought someone with him." said Emma.
A few seconds after saying that they noticed two figures running towards them. Andrew and Katie made it to them and a smile ran across the faces of both Emma and Brady. Andrew and Katie wrapped them in jackets and helped them out of the forest. They almost made it out till a tree got struck by lighting. The tree broke blocking their path and then it caught fire. The fire jumped from the downed tree to another tree then another till almost the whole forest went up in flames. The fire sent the pokemon from their homes fleeing.
"We are trapped." said Brady coughing.
"I have one way to get out but you all need to trust me and grab one another's hand." said Andrew as he grabbed a pokeball.
"How is flying going to get us out of here." said Brady.
"I never said flying." said Andrew tossing out Alakazam.
"A psychic type pokemon?" asked Brady.
"Use teleport Alakazam." said Andrew.
As soon as that was said Alakazam teleported them safely back into town.
"Why did you tell us to grab each others hand?" asked Brady.
"If we were to do it separately I have no idea where the teleport would have sent you." said Andrew.
"Thanks Andrew." said Brady.
They all walk back towards the pokemon center and as they did four fire trucks went speeding by heading towards the forest. Once they made it back to the pokemon center the nurse was getting ready to leave an head towards the fire.
"I am leaving Chansey here to take care of the pokemon. All I need you four to do is just watch the center." said the Nurse leaving.
"Why don't you three go to sleep I will stay and wait for the Nurse to get back." said Andrew.
The other did exactly that as Andrew sat in the front on his laptop waiting for her to return. It was 3 hours after the fire started that the nurse returned to the center. Once she did Andrew walked to the back and fell asleep on his bed.
(Off the Coast of San Francisco)
"It seems Andrew is way to curious for his own good." said Goodsworth.
"Indeed." said the man sitting next to him.
"Get me Claus would you Alex." said Goodsworth.
Alex runs to a different part of the ship to let Claus know he was wanted. Claus and Alex returned to Goodsworth. Who did not look happy.
"Claus I need you to run interference Andrew is digging up info he is not suppose to." said Goodsworth.
"Yes Director." said Claus.
"Now go to New Orleans and wait for him there." said Goodsworth.
"How do you know he will show up there?" asked Claus.
"You are to capture Katie Hopkins. Andrew will do all in his power to rescue her and he will then stop digging." said Goodsworth.
"Yes Director." said Claus.
"Now go." said Goodsworth.
Claus leaves towards a plane an leaves towards their Cargo ship in the gulf of Mexico.
"And what of me?" asked Alex.
"I want you to go to the gulf as well. I need you to over see it all." said Goodsworth.
"Yes sir." said Alex leaving.
As he leaves he hears Goodsworth talk about how the region will be his once he has the power of Reshiram. He then lets out this blood curdling laugh.
That is how this chapter will end. The events in this chapter now points out what DD's next move is. Also we realize that Claus is not the leader of the DD. Rodger Goodsworth is. Also we learned that something to 12 trainers a year ago that made them disappear.
Trainer Update:
12 trainers disappeared a year ago on their journey. How and why still remains unclear but what Goodsworth said he is behind it.

It looks like their next move will happen at New Orleans.
