(The Next Morning)
"Your up Early Andrew." said Tayna.
"So are you." said Andrew.
"I am a judge at the contest, so I have to be there soon." said Tayna.
"I am going to go watch the rest of it." said Andrew.
"Do you know Hailey is taking part in it?" asked Tayna.
"I hvae not got talk to her yet, but I seen that when I was in Nashville." said Andrew.
"She is even more determined this year then last." said Tayna.
"I saw that. She has more cofidence then she had last year." said Andrew.
"I got to go. I will talk to you later." said Tayna leaving the house.
Andrew walks out and heads north oppsite to his older sister.
"I wonder if Hailey has left yet." said Andrew to himself as walked.
As he was walking he ran into the person he was looking. They looked at each other for a moment then hugged.
"How long have you been home Andrew?" asked Hailey.
"I just got home yesterday." said Andrew.
"It has been to long since I have seen you." said Hailey.
"Same here." said Andrew.
"I am going again through the Contest Circut." said Hailey.
"I see that. Why you already have won one Grand Festvial?" asked Andrew.
"I really have not thought about that yet. I guess I just love doing it to much to quit." said Hailey.
"How many ribbons have you won?" asked Andrew.
"If I win today I will have all five I need to enter the Grand Festvial." said Hailey.
"I didn't take you long to earn that many." said Andrew.
"I know. How have you been?" asked Hailey.
"I have been busy. I have been promoting the Champion's Cup which happens to be held in New York. I have been fighting off the DD. Its been a full time job for me." said Andrew.
"Is it what you expected from when you and I talked about it?" asked Hailey.
"It is more then that. It is a never ending job." said Andrew.
"You knew that when you took it." said Hailey.
"I know." said Andrew.
"Shit I am late. I better go. Can we catch up later?" asked Hailey.
"Yeah that sounds fine. How about after the Contest if you can make time?" asked Andrew.
"I always have time for you my friend." said Hailey leaving.
Andrew walked back to his house and grabbed a hat from his old room and left towards the pokemon Center. Once he got there Emma, Brady, and Katie we up ready to go.
"About time you got here." said Katie.
"I had to see an old friend." said Andrew.
The four of them left and headed downtown towards the Stadium. The outside was as busy as always is. He looked around and seen some regonizable faces in the crowd. He saw Dan and Cat. He saw Jenna. He looked over in the arena and saw Gabby training with her pokemon. While in the arena towards the back he Ally doing the same.
(At the Stadium)
"So who's battling who?" asked Andrew.
"The first battle is Jenna vs. Michelle. After that battle we have Ally vs. Gabby." said Katie.
"Friends are battling each other." said Andrew.
"Yeah they are it is going to be tough to watch them battle." said Katie.
At 7:30 am the doors opened and allowed people to find a seat. It took all but 10 mintues for everyone to find a seat. After everyone did Bailey walked out.
"Good Morning ladies and gentlemen. We are here for the last rounds of the Sacramento Contest. Lets not waste anymore time and introduce the judges. The first judge is very reconizable and he is the President of Poke. Tech. please welcome Mr. Vance Walker. She is a member of the Pokemon Fan Club please welcome Ms. Emily Hart. Up next she won the Grand Festvial three times and she is Ms. Rebecca Dobbs. And last but not least she is a two time Grand Festvial winner please welcome Mrs. Tayna Stewart." said Bailey.
After that was said the power was shut off. Next thing we seen was a glowing red tail and the outline of a fire type pokemon.
"We are in for a treat." said Andrew to Katie.
"Why?" asked Katie.
"My sister is going to show off one of her appeals." said Andrew.
"She is?" asked Katie.
"If I am right one of those is her Ampharos and the other is her Rapidash." said Andrew.
They then turn their attention back to the arena.
"Rapidash use overheat. And Ampharos use thunder also into the sky." said Tayna.
Rapidash begun to glow a firey red color and ran around. Ampharos charged up and shot a thunder into the air. Both her pokemon glew their respective colors. After the light show the lights turned back on everyone saw Tayna and her two pokemon.
"Ampharos use swift to create stars. Rapidash use bouce to jump on them." said Tayna.
Ampharos created four rather large stars and they went into the air. Next thing everyone knew was Rapidash jolted from where she stood to about a couple feet from the stars. She then bounced from one star to the next.
"Time to finish this. Ampharos use singal beam to bring those stars down except for the one Rapidash is on. Rapidash use stomp to bring that star down." said Tayna.
Ampharos shot from his red orb on his head a beam of green and red. She hit three stars with this attack ad those stars blew up into colors of red and green and yellow. Next Rapidash brought up her front hooves and then brought them down on the star. This sent the star down. As it hit the ground Rapidash landed next to Ampharos. The star blew up and smaller stars were scattered around her pokemon. The audience stood up and appluded and so did those watching on the TV in the locker room.
(In the Locker Room)
"Wow that was impressive." said Ally.
"I know it looks like she has not lost her touch." said Hailey.
"I would love do something like that." said Gabby.
"Gabby you got to remember Tayna did Contests for 5 years she perfected each one of her appeals. She begun just like you did." said Hailey.
"I have to say Hailey that almost looked like what you did yesterday." said Jenna walking over.
"Who do you think I got the idea from. When I was starting out I watched some of her appeals and changed them up to make them my own." said Hailey.
"That was a creative intro as well opening with showing off the pokemon's true color." said Ally.
"It was." said Cat who has otherwise been quiet.
(Back to the Contest)
Tayna has found her seat at the judges table and they looked ready to begin the contest battle round.
"Up first is Jenna DiMartin from Nashville TN her opponent for this round is Michelle Rodgers from Las Vegas, Nevada." said Bailey.
They walked out and took their spots.
"Ok they look ready so lets start the timer." said Bailey.
(Contest Battle Jenna vs. Michelle)
"Go Primeape." said Michelle.
"Go Weavile." said Jenna.

Primeape: 100%
Weavile: 100%
"Primeape use cross chop."
"Weavile dodge it then hit him with ice beam."
Primeape charged at Weavile with a full head of steam once he thought he was close he made an X with his arms and tried to hit Weavile. Weavile dodged that attack blasted him back with the power of ice beam. All this did was anger Primeape even more.
"Primape use rage."
"Weavile use punishment."
The angered Primape charged and hit the Weavile and sent him back some. This enraged the Primeape even more. Weavile recovered quickly and slashed at him with more power becasue of the enraged state the Primeape was in. Primape continued to get even more mad.
"Use rage again."
"Weavile dodge the attack and hit him wth quick attack then nail him with night slash."
Again the Primeape charged at Weavile. Weavile dodge with ease. She then picked up some speed and nailed him with a shoulder tackle. She then rslashed at him with her darkened color claws.

"Primape use low kick."
"Weavile jump into the air to dodge the attack then use aerial ace."
Primape tried to sweep the legs of Weavile. She jumped into the air to dodge the attack. Weavile then dove at him with her claws leading the way. She nailed Primeape and this caused him to fall back.
"Primeape use cross chop again."
"Weavile shadow ball."
Again Primeape ran at Weavile. As he was charging at her Weavile released a dark purple colored ball at Primeape. Primeape brought up his arms to take blow from that attack. It stopped him for some time. This allowed Weavile to fire off another shadow ball. This one hit Primeape closer to his face and it blinded him for a few seconds. He was then hit by a third shadow ball. Primeape was sent onto his back.

Weavile: 80%
Primeape struggled to his feet. By time he reached his feet he was hit with a fourth shadow ball.
"Now Weavile use hail."
Clouds covered the arena and it started to snow. This snow cover the arena. It made it hard to see Weavile as she covered herself in the snow. Everyone knew tha Jenna was closing in on ending this round. Primeape was finally able to reach his feet. He was breathing heavily after taking the barriage of shadow balls from Weavile.
"Weavile use icy wind."
Weavile who was behind Primeape shot off a chilling wind at Primeape. This move froze the hair on his back. This sent chills down the back of Primeape.
"Weavile now use shadow ball on the same spot that is frozen."
Weavile made a dark purple ball in front of her mouth and she shot moments later. The shadow ball found its mark and Primeape fell right on his face. After this shadow ball he did not get back up.
"The winner of this round his Jenna DiMartin. She will advance to semi finals." said Bailey
Jenna and Michelle both walk off the arena and had returned to the locker room.
"With that match over with lets get right into the next. So please welcome from Boston, MA Ally Richards and her opponent this round is also from Boston, MA and that is Gabby Hughes." said Bailey.
Gabby walked out frist and took her spot. After her came Ally she was in the oppisite side of Gabby.
(Contest Battle: Gabby vs. Ally)
"Go Noctowl." said Gabby.
"Go Forretress." said Ally.
"With both Coordinators ready this round can begin." said Bailey.

Forretress: 100%
"Use take down Noctowl."
"Forretress use heavy slam."
Noctowl charged at Forrestress. Forrestress was doing the exact same thing toward Noctowl. Once both pokemon collided Forrestress overwhelmed Noctowl. This sent Noctowl back.
"Noctowl use zen headbutt."
"Forretress use zap cannon."
Noctowl's feather horns on her head became all blue as she flew at Forretress. Forretress created an electrofied cannon ball near his mouth and as Noctowl got closer, he unleashed it at Noctowl. Once the attack hit Noctowl, she stopped her attack and let out a screech of pain. The attack did a load of damage to Noctowl and also seemed to caused paralysis causing Noctowl unable to move.

"Noctowl use Hypnosis."
Noctowl tried to move but she was unable to.
"Forrestress use rock slide."
Forretress let out a cry as an avalanche of rock came down on Noctowl. This action sent Noctowl into the ground and she had rocks piled on her. Noctowl struggled to get free of them. She was pinned to the ground.
(In the audience)
"I do not think Ally wants to end this battle." said Andrew.
"What do you mean by that?" asked Katie.
"All Ally would have to do is one zap cannon and this match should be over." said Andrew.
"What's stopping her then?" asked Katie.
"My guess their friendship is what Ally is thinking about." said Andrew.
"She would not want to end this beacuse of her friendship with Gabby." said Katie.
"Yeah, I guess friendship means a lot to her." said Andrew.
(Back to the Contest)
Ally was standing there with a difficult decision. Does she end this round and attack or does she try to let her friend get back into it. She looked across at Gabby and she had defeated look on her face. That did not help Ally.
"Forretress get in front of Noctowl and blast him with zap cannon."
Forretress moved over to where Noctowl was pinned. He made another cannon in front of his mouth. He then unleashed it and it hit Noctowl. Noctowl let out multiple cries as the attack hit. Finally it was all over and Noctowl fainted.
"That is it for this round. Ally advances to the semi-finals with Jenna. We have two more spots and two more matches to go." said Bailey.
After that was said Gabby returned Noctowl. Ally walked over to her. Ally had no idea what to say to Gabby. Gabby flet worse then defeated because she was defated by her friend Ally.
"Say something Ally." said Gabby.
"What do you want me to say?" asked Ally.
"I want to know one thing. As many times as we have battled why did you try so hard to win now?" asked Gabby.
Gabby.. is all Ally was able to say before Gabby walked off. A few minutes later Ally found her way back to the locker room.
"Ok lets get right into the thrid match. So here are those Coordinators. The frist one from Sacramento, CA please welcome Hailey Varga and she will be up against Trisha Chavez from Reno, Nevada." said Bailey.
(Contest Battle: Hailey vs. Trisha)
"Go Xatu." said Trisha.
"Go Jolteon." said Hailey.
"This round will now begin." said Bailey.

Xatu: 100%
"Xatu get into the air."
"Jolteon use swift."
Xatu got off the ground and got high above Jolteon. Jolteon shot off six stars and as Xatu tried to fly to avoid those stars they eventually found thier mark.
"Xatu use shadow ball."
"Jolteon use elctro ball."
Both pokemon shot off their respetive attacks. Once they collieded they caused an explosion and then a cloud of dark colored smoke.
"Jolteon use thunder."
As the smoke cover ed the arena Jolteon charged her body then unleashed a power eletric attack at Xatu who was not aware of the attack coming at him till it hit him.

The smoke finally disapted and we could now see both pokemon. Xatu was still in the air even after taking thunder and Jolteon was looking directly at Xatu.
"Xatu use recover."
"Jolteon use thunderbolt."
Xatu glowed a pure white color as he recovered some of his stamina back, but it was short as Jolteon nailed him with a powerful thunderbolt. Xatu was able to hang for some time before falling to the ground.
"Jolteon use flash."
Jolteon let out a cry and then unleashed a blinding light from her body. It blinded Xatu. He had trouble spotting Jolteon.

"Jolteon use pin missle."
"Xatu use confusion to stop that attack."
Xatu was unable to stop from being hit by the sharp needles as Jolteon used them. Xatu was still blinded by the flash. He felt the needles hit time after time and could do nothing to stop them from hitting him since he had no idea where they were coming from.
"Jolteon use thunder wave."
Jolteon shot off a weak charge of electrity at the blinded Xatu. Xatu was hit with the weak charge and caused him to paralyzed.
"Xatu you have to get back into the air."
Xatu could not move he was unable to get off the ground.

"Jolteon use quick attack."
Jolteon ran at Xatu at high speeds. Xatu was hit in the gut by the attack. Xatu still stood there.
"Jolteon use volt tackle."
Again Jolteon quickly charged at Xatu. She started off with it looking like quick attack till Jolteon was surrouned by electricity. Jolteon hit Xatu right in the gut and Xatu fell back. Jolteon was hit with some damage as well from the volt tackle, but she stood strong. Xatu was unable to get up.
"This battle is over and the winner is Hailey Varga. She will join Ally and Jenna in the semi-finals who will be the last one. It will either be Caitylnn or will it be Mikey. We will know who it is in about 5 minutes." said Bailey.
(In the Audience)
"I will be back. I should go talk to Gabby she did not look to happy after her battle." said Emma.
"Emma don't. I think it would be best if she heard it from a Coordinator rather then a trainer." said Andrew.
"Who will talk to her then." demanded Emma.
"I know the perfect person." said Andrew.
"Who?" asked Emma standing up.
"My sister Tayna." said Andrew.
"You never told me that she was your sister." said Emma.
"I will talk to her after the Contest. She will help Gabby out." said Andrew.
"Ok, thanks I guess." said Emma.
"When I see Hailey battle, I still think of you battling Andrew." said Katie.
"Like I have said we traveled together we both picked up on ways to win battles. I learned from watching her in Contests, and she learned when I battled Gym Leaders." said Andrew.
(Back to the Contest)
"This is the last battle before the semi- finals so lets get right into it. Frist please welcome from Columbia Falls, Montana Caitylnn. Her opponent this round is from Houston, Texas so welcome Mikey Timmes." said Bailey.
"Go Stantler." said Mikey.
"Go Roserade." said Cat.

Stantler: 100%
"Stantler use take down."
"Roserade use poison jab to stop him."
Stantler charged at Roserade with his horns leading the way. While he was charging Roserade's two flowers became purple and coated in poison. Right before Stantler would have hit Roserade he instead meet Roserades' poison covered flower. It stopped Stantler in his tracks.
"Roserade use energy ball."
Roserade brought her two flowers togerther an energy ball formed in the middle of them. She then sent it at Stantler who was still recovering from the poison jab that he just took. The energy ball hit him in the face and Stantler let a cry. Stantler maged to recover from the energy ball justt to take some damge from the lingering poison.
"Magical leaf, Roserade."
Roserade shot off from her two flowers multi colored leaves. She sent them at Stantler who still was suffering from poison. And as the leaves hit him scratches appeared on his body. Stantler was struggling to get through the onslaught brought on by Cat's Roserade.

Stantler manged to get back on all four just as it ticked to four minutes.
"Stantler use jump kick."
"Roserade use extrasensory."
As Stantler jumped into the air he was stopped his trainer did not see or how he was stopped. After he was held in this unforseen power he was then relased and he almost instantly dropped to the ground. He not only took damage from the attack but since his jump kicked failed he also took damage from that. Again Stantler struggled to his feet. Mikey looked confused on what just happened, vut he let it go and contued on.
"Roserade use energy ball."
"Stantler use take down."
Stantler kicked the dirt around one of his front hooves and charged at Roserade. Roserade got off the energy ball and once it hit Stantler he just ran right through it and hit Roserade and brought her to the ground. Stantler stood over to examine his work a few seconds. Mikey let out a sigh of relief only for a mintue though because a few seconds later Stantler was sent into the air by yet another energy ball. Stantler crashed into the ground. Where he crashed he created a small hole. He manged to stunble to his feet.

Stantler had trouble remaining on his feet. He kept falling over only to get back up seconds after that would happen. Stantler was in no condition to finsh this battle, but Mikey insisted that he fine and let the battle go on. As time ticked away the judges had a quick discussion. And as Mikey was about to call an attack Tayna stood up.
"Mikey this round is over Stantler has sustained to much to continue it is in your best intrest we end this battle. It was not an easy decision to come to but we all think it is best." said Tayna.
The audience was in complete shock to see that a judge called for the end of a match. In all the years the US region did Contests none have ended like this. It was also a shock from those in the back. Mikey stared at the judges with a blank look on his face. Many did not want this match to end this way, but it was for the best.
"What a bizarre way to end this round, but Caitylnn has won and will advance to the semi-finals." said Bailey.
Cat and Mikey walked off the arena and walked back into the back. The four Coordiantors left in the locker room had their eyes glued to the TV ready to see the next round and who's battling who.
Battle 1: Ally vs. Jenna
Battle 2: Hailey vs. Caitylnn
"The next two rounds will take place here in one hour. The judges have called for a short intermission." said Bailey.
Everyone walked outside the Stadium and walked around most were still talking about the bizarre ending to that last match.
(Dan and Cat)
They were sitting down on a bench outside the locker room exit and entrence. Dan had with him Cat's two electric pokemon Plusle and Minun.
"Cat you look a little stressed out." said Dan.
"You would two if you have to face Hailey in the next round." said Cat.
"I forgot she was the one that beat you last year." said Dan.
"Yeah she was. I have never stopped thinking about that moment and how she just edged me out as the timer hit zero." said Cat.
"So who are you going to use then?" asked Dan.
"I have to use Swellow. She is my quickest pokemon to end a battle with." said Cat.
"What about if you face her Jolteon or even her Politoad?" asked Dan.
"Why do you think I am stressing and you are not helping." yelled Cat.
"You will win you just to have some faith and a little bit of luck." said Dan.
"Dan your the one talking luck. You have not had a lot of that lately have you." said Cat.
"I know. Lady luck just does not like to side with me." said Dan.
"Anyway it looks like your firend his here." teased Cat.
"Who?" asked Dan.
"Andrew, he's over there with it looks like Hailey." said Cat.
"I would not call him a friend. He a rival and tough one at that." said Dan.
"So are you going to ask him for a match?" asked Cat.
"I should go over there and ask." said Dan walking away.
"What about me?" Cat yelled back at him.
(Andrew and Hailey)
"Nice job out there." said Andrew to Hailey.
"Thanks." said Hailey.
"It looked like you had the advatage for most of the match." said Andrew.
"I did. Xatu is a psyschic type, I am surprised he did not try more psychic attacks." said Hailey.
"I found it odd too. It tried to play the high ground on you." said Andrew.
"You know something Andrew. I miss when you use to stay up all night with me and help me get ready for the Contest." said Hailey.
"You did the same thing for me." said Andrew.
"The best part of those sessions where being able to see the sun rise. All the colors of it can really help you draw inspiration." said Hailey.
"Mine would be how we worked on it." said Andrew.
Andrew took out his phone to see who was calling him. And it was Jenifer from the Pokemon League.
"I better take this she has been calling me all afternoon." said Andrew.
"Its cool I will catch up with you after the Contest." said Hailey walking off.
(Phone Call)
"Andrew I finally got ahold of you." said Jen.
"I have been busy. So what's up?" asked Andrew.
"Are you going to be back by Friday?" asked Jen.
"I should be." said Andrew.
"Good. You have a match then." said Jen.
"Who and when?" asked Andrew.
"I will send you the details when I get a chance. You should get it tonight. He did say he wanted to issue the challenge to your face so I think he might be in Sacramento." said Jen.
"You told him I was here?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah it slipped. He overheard me talking to Marc about it." said Jen.
"What his name then?" asked Andrew.
"His name is Marco Rubiono." said Jen.
"Ok atleast I have that." said Andrew.
"I will talk to you when you get back then. bye." said Jen.
(Marco and Andrew Confrontation)
A few minutes after he got off the phone and before Dan walked up a man in a balck jacket all zipped up walked. He had pale skin it looked like he had not seen the sun in days. He had black jeans and a hat over his eyes.
"Are you Andrew?" he asked.
"I am." said Andrew.
"Good I am Marco and I want to battle you this week." said Marco.
"Kinda demanding aren't you." said Andrew.
"I am in no mood for your wise crack jokes. Just agree to the battle." said Marco.
"You really need to just relax I already schelded it with the league commissioner." said Andrew.
"I do not care, just agree to it." said Marco.
"Ok our battle will be Friday at the Pokemon League in DC." said Andrew.
"Good intill then I will watch your moves to make you do not back out." said Marco.
"That's quiet creepy." said Andrew.
"Not one bit. I pefer to call it studying" said Marco.
"I will give you this warning then. If I catch near or on my family's property I will report you to the authorities and terminate our match. You have no right to be there since it is privite property." said Andrew.
"I will make sure I do not get caught then." said Marco.
"Andrew sorry if interrupting something. I need to ask if I can battle you?" asked Dan.
Get lost I am challengeing him." said Marco.
"No I have a right to challenge him." said Dan.
"Not know not ever. Since after Friday I will be Champion." said Marco.
"What makes you think you can even beat me?" asked Andrew.
"I know how you work and how to beat you and I will." said Marco.
"You know what I cannot wait till Friday for I can kick your ass." said Andrew with anger in his tone.
"I touched a nerve didn't I." said Marco.
"You did more then that. I will show you why I am the Champion." said Andrew.
"Honestly I think your nothing more then a second rate trainer who got lucky and won agaisnt another second rate trainer." said Marco.
"How dare you say such a thing I am better then you and I will gladly prove it when we battle Friday. Till then I do not want to see your face." said Andrew getting mad.
"Good luck and also Andrew I would not waste the time you have on him he's nothing." said Marco pointing at Dan.
"Nothing, then how about a battle?" demanded Dan.
"A warm up match. I need one. So I agree." said Marco.
"We will have this match tomorrow at North End Park. It will happen after I finish talking to the kids there." said Andrew.
"Fine with me." said Dan.
"I will see you there then." said Marco right before he left.
"Andrew you ok?" asked Dan.
"I am fine. There's just something about that guy that just doesn't sit well with me." said Andrew.
"You caught it too then." said Dan.
"Yeah I did. He's just so obscure." said Andrew.
"I know." said Dan.
"I have watch a couple matches he has been to pick up on this guy." said Andrew.
"You have video of his matches?" asked Dan.
"I do. He has battled and beaten all of my elite four. The League records all the matches for studing purposes." said Andrew.
"That an odd thing to do." said Dan.
"The League has been doing it for years." said Andrew.
"Well I better get back to Cat. I guess I will see you later." said Dan.
"Dan you and I will battle again. I will let you know in the near future." said Andrew.
"Ok. Thanks for that." said Dan walking back over to Cat.
Moments after that confrontation they reopened the Stadium. Everyone filled back into it and found their seats. The judges also filed back in as everything was set for the semi-finals were about to get started. And to start it off it would be Jenna and Ally.

"Now that the break is over we will know not stop till we crown a winner here. So lets not waste anymore time and plase welcome from Boston,MA Ally Richards. She is up against Jenna DiMartin from Nashville, TN." said Bailey.
They both walk and take their spots on the arena. They both looked dertermined to make it to the finals and maybe even win.
"Go Rhydon." said Jenna.
"Go Marshtomp." said Ally

"Rhydon use rock blast."
"Marshtomp use water gun to counter it."
Rhydon pcked up a rock and tossed it with ease. Marshtomp opened his mouth and shot out a stream of water. Tat stream broke through the rock and nailed Rhydon. Rhydon shaked his head as he was hit with the water attack.
"Ryhdon use take down."
"Marshtomp stop him with water gun."
Rhydon lead with his shoulder right at Marshtomp. Rhydon was hit with the water gun, but he did not stop the attack and kept going till he hit Marshtomp. Which sent Marshstomp back behind his trainer. Marshtomp jump back on to his feet and ran rigt back in front of his trainer.

Sharp rock circled Ryhdon body. He motioned his arm forward and all the rocks went right for Marshtomp. Once they reached him they were stopped by a green shield that encased Marshtomp.
"Marshtomp use auqa tail."
"Ryhdon once he gets close to you use hammer arm."
Marshtomp's tail begun to glow blue as he ran at Rhydon. As he was about hit Rhydon, Rhydon hit him with his right arm and sent Marstomp flying back. The bad thing about hammer arm is that Rhydon's speed now pays the price.

"Marshtomp use mud shot to slow him down. Then blast him with hydro pump."
Rhydon charged at Marstomp, but this time around he seemed slower then before. Marshtomp shot out round piles of mud from his mouth at the Rhydon. Rhydon ran right through them and kept going. Marshtomp opened his mouth and unleashed a powerful torrent of water which unlike water stopped the Rhydon dead in his tracks. Marshtomp kept up the attack till Rhydon was shaking his head trying to portect his face from the torrent of water. Jenna for the frist time in many of the Contest she had taken part in she looked frazzled. Most of the time she had control of the whole match even if Rhydon did not have the advantage in. Finally Marshtomp stopped his water attack and Rhydon had some time to recover from it.
"Marshtomp use mud bomb."
"Use protect Rhydon."
Marshtomp shot off a a brown muddy ball right at Rhydon. Rhydon covered himself in a green sheild which protected him from taking that attack.

As Rhydon charged at Marshtomp he begun to glow yellow then as his speed picked up he became surround by white. Marshtomp shot off a stream of water at the charging Rhydon. It did nothing to stop him from landing his his on Marshtomp. Marshtomp was sent flying back. He was stopped by the wall behind the trainers. Marshtomp hit the wall with so much force it cracked. Ally looked at Marshtomp as he fell off the wall and to the ground landing on his back. Marshtomp was unable to get up.
"That's it ladies and gentlemen Jenna and Rhydon win advancing their way to the finals. She will either be joined by Caitlynn or Hailey. We are about to find out who it is." said Bailey.
Ally walks over to where Marstomp was now sitting up at. She smiled at him and returned him and walked off. Minutes before she did Jenna returned to the locker room. As she walked back out there she ran into Cat. They flashed a stare at each other then walked past each other.
"OK the next match will not begin. So please welcome from Columbia Falls, Montana this is Caitlynn, and the Coordinator she is up against calls Sacramento, CA home so please welcome Hailey Varga." said Bailey.
The two determined Coordinators took their spots and looked at each other both were oozing with confidence.

"Mandibuzz, go." said Hailey.

Both flying type pokemon flew at each other. Once the two flying types meet head on it was a battle of power who was going to give up first. It looked evenly matched for the most part till Swellow started to get pushed back. Eventually Swellow ended up taking the attack from Mandubuzz.
"Swellow use double team."
"Mandibuzz use rock tomb."
Swellow picked up speed as she didd it looked like there was more then one Swellow. Mandibuzz begun to flap her large wings and with those flaps some of smaller rocks were lifted off the ground and those rocks were just slower for Swellow to avoid them with her double team.

"They are evenly matched. Swellow has the speed advantage, but Mandibuzz has the strength advantage. I can say this will easily be best match today." said Andrew.
"You sound so sure of that." said Katie.
"I am just guessing here but by that first minute it alreadly looks close." said Andrew.

"Swellow use steel wing."
"Mandibuzz use feint attack."
Mandibuzz flew casually at Swellow. Swellow thought nothing of that casual flying and let it go. That was till she was hit with one of Mandibuzz's wings. Mandibuzz had just barely missed taking the steel wing attack.
"Swellow use heat wave."
Mandibuzz use rock tomb."
Both flying pokemon flapped their wings. With every flap Swellow genrated heat andthe wavs of it rushed for Mandibuzz. While Mandibuzz used her to to fling a rock Swellow. The heat wave found it mark and hit Mandibuzz. The rock also found it target on Swellow. The rock broke on the back of Swellow, this action made Swellow go to the ground. Mandibuzz was quicker to recover then Swellow.

Swellow kicked off the gorund and flew right at Mandibuzz. She nailed Mandibuzz and Mandibuzz was never able to land her attack.
"Swellow use Steel wing."
"Mandibuzz use dark pulse."
Swellow's two wings became incased in a slivery steel color as she charged at Mandibuzz. Mandibuzz brought her two wing together and unleashed strands of black at Swellow. The strands hit Swellow in the face and stopped her in her tracks.
"Mandibuzz use brave bird."
Now Mandibuzz flew high up then dived at Swellow. She first became a red color then shortly later a blue color. Swellow felt the attack on her back between the wings. She was driven into the ground by Mandibuzz. As Mandibuzz let up she was hit with some of the attack and this forced her to close one of her eyes as the damage corursed through her body.

"Come on Cat. You are letting Hailey gain control of this battle. You have to pick up the pace." yelled Dan.
Cat heard her friend from the sidelines and knew if she wanted to get back into it she had to use Swellow's speed. Cat looked at the scoreboard then at her Swellow.

Swellow get up and back into the air. She was begining to show signs of the battle. Cat knew if Hailey were to hit her again with a couple more powerful attacks she not sure if Swellow could last.
"Swellow sky attack."
"Hmm an odd choose of move, but I can do it to. Mandibuzz use sky attack as well." said Hailey.
Both pokemon begun to glow a dark red color as the flew at each other. Again both pokemon meet and you could almost tell who had more left since Swellow was easliy overwhelmed and she was sent to the ground again.
"Mandibuzz use fury attack."
"Swellow use steel wing."
Swellow kicked off the ground anf flew right at Mandibuzz with her slivery wings. She hit Mandibuzz once. She then dived on her to hit her again.
"Mandibuzz roost."
Mandibuzz landed in front of her trainer and begun to check her feathers and clean them. As she did she gained some more stamina back.
"Swellow attack again and use heat wave."
Swllow voilently flapped her wings. She begun to create an intense heat from it and this heat hit the Mandibuzz who was disracted by the cleaning of her feathers. Mandibuzz looked up and the intense heat hits on her face.

Mandibuzz kicked off the ground and she first turned red then blue and she hits Swellow. Swellow's eyes wideden and she as she felt Mandibuzz nailed her. This time it was differnet though Mandibuzz grabbed Swellow's back with her sharp nails from her claws.
"Mandibuzz use rock smash."
Mandibuzz tossed the Swellow into the air and waited till she was below her to drive her beak into Swellow's back. Both Mandibuzz and Swellow hit the ground with so much force that the dirt begun to break down. It was after this combo of moves that the clock struck zero

"There you have it in the finals it will be Hailey vs Jenna. We will be crowning a winner here in a little less then 10 minutes so do not get out of those seats." said Bailey.
They cleaned up the arena and got ready for the final match of this Contest. It is a repeat of the finals in Nashville. The only differnce is that Jenna is hoping the reslut will favor her. She still had high hopes even though she watched her rival take a beating from the person was about to face.

"Lets get this under way so please welcome our frist finalist from Nashville, TN Jenna DiMartin. She will be facing Hailey Varga from Sacramento, CA." said Bailey.
Both Trianers walk out and were ready. Both of them knew what was on the line. For Hailey it was her 5th and final ribbon and for Jenna it would be her 4th and she would only be won away from the Grand Festival.
"Go Rhydon." said Jenna.
"Go Meinshoo." said Hailey.

"Rhydon use take down."
"Meinshoo dodge it, then use focus blast."
Meinshoo was able to dodge the take dwon with ease. He then brought his two hands togerther then created a brown ball of power. He then pushed it foward and right at Rhydon. It hit Rhydon in rock hard gut. The damage done was massive. Rhydon looked like he just got kicked in the gut.
"Meinshoo use high jump kick."
Meinshoo jumped off the ground and into the air. He thendived at Rhydon letting his right leg lead the way. Again Meinshoo found his mark in Rhydon's gut.

Only one minute in and Rhydon looked differnt from how the match against Ally begun. She was close to halfway down while Mienshoo looked like he did not take much.
"Meinshoo low kick."
Mienshoo swept Rhydon off his feet and onto the ground.
"Rhydon use earthquake."
Rhydon stood up and stomped the ground voilently. It created termers under ground and the arena was now attacked by large rock created by this earthquake. Meinshoo jump on to one of those rocks to aviod taking any damage.
"Now Meinshoo use drain punch."
Meinshoo ran over to Rhydon and punched him in his face. AS Rhydon lost stamina it looked like Meinshoo was gaining it.

Meinshoo brought his hand to togther to create a blue ball of aura in front of the hands. He motioned his hands forward and shot off the blue ball. Rhydon was hit with the blue ball and fell onto his face everyone knew it was over. Rhydon took to many super effective attacks.
"Ladies and Gentlemen it's all over and todays winner ins Ms. Hailey Varga. Tayna will now present her with her ribbon." said Bailey
Tayna walked over to Hailey said Congrats andhanded her, her fifth and final ribbon. She was done with collecting them now it is time for her to prepare for the biggest Contest in this region and that is the Grand Festival.
(After the Contest)
All it took was 30 minutes to make that Stadium empty. Brady and Emma returned to the pokemon center to get som more rest. Katie went looking for who left after Rhydon fell down. He was no where to be spotted . That was till she spotted him with his old friend Hailey. She decied to walk over to them.
"Hey Katie." said Andrew.
"Hey. And good job Hailey on your win." said Katie.
"So you must be Katie, Andrew told me about you." said Hailey.
"He did?" asked Katie confused.
"Andrew can you excuss us for a minute?" asked Hailey.
"Yeah sure." said Andrew walking away.
"Katie you have nothing to worry about. Andrew and me were just friends." said Hailey.
"What do you mean?" asked Katie.
"I can already tell how much Andrew cares for you." said Hailey.
"He does?" asked Katie.
"Yeah I know. Just be careful Andrew can be hotheaded at times. Even thought he will not admit it. If you have spent as much time with him as I have you know." said Hailey.
"I already know that. He is also very caring." said Katie.
"I know anyway I will leave you two I have to get home and rest I am really tried." said Hailey.
"OK." said Katie.
Katie stayed where she was as Hailey walked over to where Andrew was.
"She is great. She's a lot like you very head strong." said Hailey.
"Thanks for telling me that." said Andrew.
"I will see you for breakfast tomorrow." said Hailey leaving.
"Same here." said Andrew.
Andrew walked over to where Katie was and they walked away from the arena. Andrew walked her back to the pokemon center.
"Katie I wish I could hang out more, but I have something more prepare for." said Andrew.
"What?" asked Katie.
"I have a battle Friday. I would like to get some more training before I leave tomorrow." said Andrew.
"Your leaving tomorrow." said Katie.
"Yeah I am after I talk in the park. I need to get back to DC and really get three week old paperwork done. Otherwise Jen will have my head." said Andrew.
"When will we see you again?" asked Katie.
"I am not quite sure. I am going to be rather busy the next couple weeks. My only guess is I will see you when I see you." said Andrew.
"Ok I will see you then tomorrow." said Katie.
"Yeah I will come and say good bye then leave." said Andrew.
"Ok I will tell the other two." said Katie.
Katie walks over to Andrew hugs him and then walks back in. Andrew walks back towards his house. With only one thing on his mind and that is checking the videos of Marco.
So Hailey has won another Contest. This is her fifth which means she can already enter the Grand Festival. We will not see or hear from Hailey till then. Which means anyone can win the next Contest. Which will be held in Richmond, VA. The time and date will be determined later on. The next chapter we will have a battle between Dan and Marco. A major event will unfold durning that battle which will result in Dan begining his path to his mega ring. This event will happen between him, the Mega Guru, and Andrew (The most recent Mega Ring holder). To see that event you will have to wait and see. This will mean I will be devoting some chapters to Dan. So just a heads up
