(Tuesday Morning Inside the Hotel)
"Good Morning Andrew," said Hailey.
There was no response so Hailey turned on the light next to her bed and seen that Andrew had left earlier that morning. There was a note for Hailey though.
Dear Hailey,
I left already I had to meet up with Mika in Sacramento I will be back as soon as I can. I'm sorry if I woke you up this morning I tried to be quiet. If you want you can head to the Pokemon Center. I will meet you there once I get back.
Andrew
Hailey got up made the bed and took shower. After getting out of the shower she got dressed and left the hotel towards the Pokemon Center where they last saw Dan and Cat. Once she got there Cat was now asleep in one of the beds in the back and Dan was still sitting next to Blaziken. Blaziken was feeling a lot better even after taking those devastating moves.
"How is he Dan?" asked Hailey.
"He's doing a lot better thanks to the nurse. She was up all night taking care of him," said Dan.
"Have you gotten any sleep?" asked Hailey.
"Here and there," said Dan.
"You should go get some sleep before Andrew gets here," said Hailey.
"Where'd he go?" asked Dan.
"He meet up with Mika. He should be back here soon,
(Andrew and Mika)
Mika is slightly shorter then Andrew. She has bright red hair almost the same color as the red orb on the end of Ampharos' tail. She had on a bright blue shirt and black skin tight jeans. She had her hair in a pony tail. She was standing in front of the pokemon center waiting for Andrew. Andrew and his Flygon land in front of the Pokemon Center.
"About time you got here," Mika.
"I left a little later then I would've liked," said Andrew.
"Let's just go," said Mika.
"Mika before we go we need to talk," said Andrew.
"About what?" asked Mika.
"I fear that DD might be after you next for your mega ring. They tried to get mine when I was training with the new mega ring holder," said Andrew.
"I don't no why you would be worried I can defend myself I can take them on," said Mika.
"I know you can, but still just be cautious of your next move," said Andrew.
"I always watch out for myself," said Mika.
"We can go now," said Andrew.
The two of them left Sacramento and headed back to Murphy. The two of them are being followed by someone. this person has been Mika since she got to Sac this morning. Andrew and Mika are unaware of this person. It took them only 15 minutes to get back to Murphy. Once they got there they walked over to the pokemon center. Once inside Dan, Cat, and Hailey were waiting.

"It looks like everyone is here so let me introduce Mika to you all," said Andrew.
"Hi," said Mika.
"Is Blaziken up for some training Dan?" asked Andrew.
"Yes he is," said Dan.
"Hurry up then and lets get to it," said Mika interrupting.
Mika left the pokemon center and started walking towards the Stadium. Leaving the others still in the Pokemon Center.
"I see Mika hasn't changed one," said Hailey.
"Yeah you can say that again," said Andrew.
"What are you two talking about?" asked Dan.
"Mika has the personality of an Absol," said Andrew.
"She doesn't seem that bad," said Dan.
"She doesn't like being around people very much that's why she is always in a hurry. I'm surprised that she hasn't complained about anything yet," said Hailey.
"I'm in for a long day I take it," said Dan.
"Yeah you are," said Andrew.
After saying that they left the Pokemon Center and meet up with Mika at the Stadium.
"Can you four walk any slower. I've seen Slowpoke's walk faster then you," said Mika.
(At the Stadium)
"So what are we going to do today?" asked Dan.
"We have to work on controlling Blaziken's rage. Which means we are going to push him as far as he is willing to go before he starts raging," said Andrew.
"How are we going to do that?" asked Dan.
"I'll explain that Daniel," said Mika.
"Then tell me," said Dan.
"We battle," said Mika.
"I don't think that is a good idea," said Andrew.
"Then what do you think?" asked Mika.
"I think we train with him again pushing him more today then yesterday," said Andrew.
"That's all good and true, but I don't want to be here all day so my method a little more aggressive but it will force him to use it," said Mika.
"Mika we don't want to force him to rage we want to be able to ease him into it," said Andrew.
"Then I'll ease up on the attack," said Mika.
"Do I get a say?" asked Dan.
"Yeah, what do you think we should?" asked Andrew.
"I have to agree with you easing him into it will be the best," said Dan.
"Lets get to it then," said Andrew.
"Blaziken, go" said Dan.
(Training Session)
"Ampharos, go" said Mika.
"Lucario, go" said Andrew.
Andrew gathers Dan and Mika on the large arena were the course was set up yesterday. This time Andrew had training dummies set and ready to go. There was about a dozen or more set up across the arena were the pokemon and their trainers stood. Some moved side to side others moved back and forth. Some spun and some had nothing done to them.
"Lets start with stage one of these dummies, they will only be moving the way they are right now. The goal for you Dan is to knock out all of them in under 2:00 minutes. It sounds easy right now it is, but it will get harder," said Andrew.
"Before he starts, How did you get all of these set up here so quickly?" asked Mika.
"I called in a favor to a friend in DC, He brought them from our training arena and it took him most of the night to set them up," said Andrew.
"Daniel its time to mega evolve him," said Mika.
"Blaziken, mega evolution," said Dan.
Blaziken encased himself in a sphere of flames. Once the flames disappeared. Blaziken's yellow feather's on his legs turned red, the red feathers turned black. The feathery "hairs" on Blaziken's head pointed upward in a wing shape. As the sphere of flames broke the flames on his arms extended out considerably and blow in the wind.
"Blaziken think you can control it today?" asked Dan.
"Blaziken Bla," said Blaziken (Translation: Yeah I am I will control it today)
"It looks like everyone is read I will go turn it on," said Andrew walking off to go get the controller from Donald.
"Daniel this method is going to take to long I still think we should have gone my way," said Mika.
"I just think this is better," said Dan.
"I'm mot needed here then," said Mika walking off.
After Mika walked off she walked over to the power breaker and flipped the switch that powered off all the test dummies in the arena. She then returned to the arena and sat down in the bleachers with Cat and Hailey. Andrew just returned after she sat down.
"You and Blaziken ready to go?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah we are," said Dan.
Andrew turned the controller on and tried to activate the dummies. They didn't turn on. He then started to walk over to the outlet and check if everything is plugged in and it is. He then followed the dozen extension cables and still he could not find the problem. Mika then walked down from the bleachers and over to Andrew.
"Is there a problem?" asked Mika.
"They won't power on. I've never had a problem with them," said Andrew.
"Maybe the arena has a faulty outlet," said Mika.
"I'll call Donald and have him check it he used the arena more than I have," said Andrew.
"What about his training?" asked Mika.
"It'll have to wait till Donald checks," said Andrew.
"I have a better idea how about we move over to the smaller one and then him and I can battle. I can push his Blaziken to his limits," said Mika.
"Fine go let Dan know," said Andrew.
Dan, Blaziken, Mika and her Ampharos moved over to the smaller arena. Mika and Ampharos on one side Dan and Blaziken on the other. Andrew walked over to his Lucario and they started to head to the bleachers. That was till Lucario pointed to the power breaker. Lucario tucked on Andrew's shirt to get his attention.
"What is it Lucario?" asked Andrew.
Lucario pointed at the breaker.
"Do you want me to check it?" asked Andrew.
Lucario shook his head yes and him and Andrew walked over to it.
"Ampharos use thunderbolt on Lucario," said Mika.
Ampharos shot a bolt of thunder towards Lucario. Lucario instinctively jumped to avoid it. Lucario let out a growl like he was ready to battle.
"What the hell Mika?" asked Andrew.
"Sorry stray bolt," said Mika.
Andrew and Lucario now walked back over to the arena. Lucario still wasn't happy about it and he looked ready to pick a fight with Mika's Ampharos. Andrew talked to him and Lucario calmed down. Now it was Mika who was ready to mega evolve.
"Ampharos, mega evolution," said Mika.
Ampharos was encased with electricity. Ampharos then lets out a cry and the electricity dissipated. Its toes turn black and it grows white wool at the back of its head and over its tail. Its long wooly tail has many small, red orbs attached to it. Its conical ears retain their stripes, but are now segmented with swirled tips. When it increases the amount of electrical energy within itself, the red orbs on its body and wool emit a strong light.
(Training Battle: Dan vs. Mika)
"Daniel you can have the first move," said Mika.
"Blaziken use flamethrower,"
"Ampharos use dragon pulse,"
Blaziken unleashed a powerful stream of fire at Ampharos who countered with a powerful dragon pulse of his own. The two attacks meet head on and the flamethrower caused the dragon pulse to explode and blanket the arena in a thick smoke.
"Ampharos use rain dance,"
Ampharos shot a ball of water into the sky. It caused clouds to cover the arena and it started to rain. The rain cleared the smoke and allowed Ampharos and Blaziken to see each other.
"Blaziken use blaze uppercut combo,"
"Ampharos use thunder,"
Ampharos shot a large beam of thunder into the sky. Moments later it struck Blaziken and he stopped dead in his tracks. His eyes widened and he fell to one knee.
"Mika that's enough," shouted Andrew.
"Andrew by now you should know enough is never enough," said Mika.
Andrew looked over to his Lucario and he then pressed his mega ring.
"Lucario, mega evolution," said Andrew.
Lucario was encased in a sphere of his own aura. Before all the aura disappears Lucario lets out a loud growl. Lucario looked considerably different. Lucario's cream colored fur has become longer. He has also developed extra spikes on his paws. Lucario's appendages grew longer and two had red on their tips. He also had spikes on his shoulders. His aura heignthing increased. He know had black lines on his blue fur.
"Lucario use flash cannon to stop Ampharos," said Andrew.
Lucario brought his paws together and made a ball of sliver between his paws. He then shot a beam at Ampharos. It made Ampharos stop his attack.
"Why did you do that?" asked Mika.
"I want you to take a close look at Blaziken. It was hard enough what he took yesterday, We needed to take it slow," said Andrew.
Blaziken tried to get to back to his feet. After minutes of struggling he finally got back to his feet he looks beaten.
"Is that the best Blaziken can do. If so I shouldn't even be here this is not worth my time," said Mika.
If Mika was looking to anger Blaziken she did. The flames on his arms flared up and he was looked angry. Lucario was about to attack him but Andrew stopped him from doing so. Blaziken then unleashed a powerful stream of fire at Ampharos. Ampharos looked at her trainer and waited for a command. Mika didn't say anything. Mika knew that the flamethrower would've missed and hit the wall behind them.
"Dan you need to calm him down," said Andrew.
"I'll try," said Dan.
Daniel walked over to Blaziken and started talking to him.
"Blaziken you have to stop," said Dan.
Blaziken stopped for a minute to look over to his trainer. It seemed to work that was till Blaziken shot another flamethrower at Dan. Dan stood his ground and waited for the attack to hit him, but again Lucario came to the rescue and he shot an aura beam to meet the flamethrower. It seemed after Blaziken stopped hit attack he realized he attacked Dan and he ran over to him. Lucario looked ready to attack.
"Lucario I think we did enough," said Andrew.
Lucario shook his head and dropped his guard.
"Blaziken you seemed you calmed down," said Dan.
"Bla Blaziken," said Blaziken (Translation: I'm sorry)
"I know you didn't mean it at least no one
got hurt," said Dan.
Andrew and Lucario walked over to Dan and Blaziken.
"You ok?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah I am thanks to you and Lucario," said Dan.
"It seemed Blaziken calmed down. All it took was him realizing that he made a mistake. I think he should be able to start to get a grip on controlling his mega evolution," said Andrew.
"Yeah that's good," said Dan.
"I think we will have it mastered by either tonight or tomorrow," said Andrew.
"Finally we will have it," said Dan.
"I need to go talk to Mika, you should rest Blaziken before we continue," said Andrew.
Dan and Blaziken walked over to the bleachers. While Andrew and Lucario walked over to Mika who was talking to her Ampharos.
"That was stupid and reckless of you," said Andrew.
"It might have been, but I got him to where he needed to be," said Mika.
"That's not the point my method would have gotten him there too it might have taken a little extra time, but still we would have done it," said Andrew.
"Now that we got him there we just need to have him master it," said Mika.
"I think I'll take over from here," said Andrew.
"Ok if you want to go ahead," said Mika walking off.
Andrew pressed his mega ring and returned Lucario to his normal self and he then returned Lucario. Andrew then walked over to the bleachers.
"Dan you ready to go?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah we are," said Dan.
"Then go ahead and head to the small arena," said Andrew.
Dan and Blaziken walked over to the small arena and he waited for Andrew to come over. Andrew walked over and they met in the middle of the arena.
"Let's not waste anymore time. Now that Blaziken knows what power he has its best we have him use it. It will be simple I think the best way to go about it will be to have a full one on one battle with him if he can win it then I think my job will be done, but if he rages again we will have to keep working on it till we do," said Andrew.
"Who will I battle?" asked Dan.
"I'll battle you," said Andrew.
"What are the rules?" asked Dan.
"It will be a simple one on one, It will be you an mega Blaziken and me and mega Lucario. We will stop when I say so," said Andrew.
"Lets go then," said Dan.
(Training Battle: Mega Blaziken vs. Mega Lucario)
"Blaziken, time for battle," said Dan as Blaziken ran out in front of him.
"Lucario go," said Andrew tossing his pokeball out.
Andrew then pressed his mega ring. Lucario was surrounded by his aura. After letting out a growl he was in his mega form.
"Blaziken use flamethrower,"
"Lucario aura sphere,"
Blaziken shot out a powerful stream of fire. Lucario made two spheres in each paw. He then brought his paws together and sent the beam of aura at the flamethrower. The two powerful attacks meet head on and they were evenly matched. The end result was a massive explosion in the middle of the two attacks. The smoke covered the arena.
"Lucario close your eyes an use your aura to find him and use stone edge,"
"Blaziken be on your guard the attack can come from anywhere,"
Blaziken looked around to see if he could see anything through the smoke, but he could not see anything. While he was looking Lucario closed his eyes and his two normal appendages went up. Lucario say Blaziken moving his head and he locked on to him. Small stones circled Lucario's body he brought both his paws up and sent the stones at Blaziken. They found their mark because Blaziken could not see they were coming till it was to late.
"Lucario use aura sphere again,"
"Blaziken dodge it,"
The smoke still lay over the arena. As Lucario made two more spheres in each paw. He then brought both paws together and sent a beam of aura at Blaziken. Blaziken used his speed to avoid the attack.
"This is our opening go for Blaze uppercut combo,"
Blaziken ran at Lucario. With his feet flaming and his arms glowing white to use sky uppercut. Blaziken was about to kick Lucario, but he ducked under Blaziken feet. That was all for not as he was sent into the sky because Blaziken connected with sky uppercut to Lucario's chin. While Lucario was in the air he prepared two aura spheres in each hand. He then brought them together and delivered an aura blast right above Blaziken and there was no time for him to move and he took the whole attack. Lucario then landed on his feet in front of Andrew. After getting hammered with the attack Blaziken laid flat on the ground. He struggled to his feet.
"What happened?" asked Dan.
"I suckered you into attacking me," said Andrew.
"I know Lucario is weak against fighting how did he withstand that sky uppercut?" asked Dan.
"If you had connected with Blaze kick we wouldn't be where we are. If I had to guess it was probably enough to take him out, but he ducked to dodge it," said Andrew.
"It's fine Blaziken is ready to go," said Dan.
"It's over," said Andrew.
"What do you mean?" asked Dan.
"Look at his arms the flames are above normal and he isn't raging. He is controlling his anger. Just like if a pokemon just mastered blaze. Now unleash a flamethrower not on Lucario but on the wall behind me," said Andrew.
"Blaziken use flamethrower on the wall,"
Blaziken unleashed a larger than normal flamethrower at the wall behind Andrew. The power on the flamethrower was amazing. Cat and Hailey who were watching looked shocked at the power. Dan walked over to his partner.
"You did it Blaziken," said Dan.
"Bla Bla Blaziken," said Blaziken (Translation: It took almost hurting you to do it.)
"I know it did, but at least we have it under control," said Dan.
"Bla Blaziken," said Blaziken. (Translation: I will now be able to use it.)
Andrew and Lucario walked over to them.
"It took awhile, but hard work finally paid off. He might have flare up every now or then, but most of the time he should be able to control it," said Andrew.
"I should thank you," said Dan.
"I was doing what I was asked and now that we have finished the hard the rest is up to you. Keep working on it and it will become second nature to him," said Andrew.
"I'll keep working on it," said Dan.
Mika, Hailey, and Cat joined Andrew and Dan in the middle of the arena.
"Now what?" asked Dan.
"I think Cat should be getting ready for the Contest in Richmond, VA," said Andrew.
"Crap I almost forgot about that," said Cat.
"We will leave tomorrow back to Indian Head then and get ready there,"
"As for me I am returning to DC I have to meet with my elite 4 and plan some things out," said Andrew.
"I will return to Sac and continue to master my new appeal, and Cat when we meet in the Grand Festival I look forward to battling you again," said Hailey.
"Hailey if you want I'll take you home tonight for I can head to DC early," said Andrew.
"That's fine with me I'll get back to working on it," said Hailey.
"Well Dan this is good bye till next time," said Andrew.
"Andrew I want to battle you again," said Dan.
"I would really like to see a full battle between you two. You two are completely different when it comes to battling. Andrew you rely on outsmarting and out battling your opponent and Dan here likes to get close for close combat type moves," said Mika.
"I'll name the place and time. Richmond, VA six days from now. We will battle inside the Richmond Dome. Be ready and I do hope you plan to use mega Blaziken I know I will be using one of my mega's ," said Andrew.
"Ok I'll see you there," said Dan.
"I know I will watch that battle," said Mika.
"I'll be leaving now. I'll be seeing you in Richmond," said Andrew walking out with Hailey following him.

They were inside their hotel room packing up their things to leave. After they had finished they walked outside the hotel and stood in front of it.
"That was nice of you to take him on," said Hailey.
"I wanted a rematch last time I battled him a nearly mopped the floor with him I hope he brings his best because I will," said Andrew.
"When did you battle him?" asked Hailey.
"In Nashville after the contest," said Andrew.
"Andrew what are you going to do about the stolen laptop?" asked Hailey.
"I'm not sure yet, but I'll get back," said Andrew.
"When ever you are ready to leave I am," said Hailey.
Andrew called out Flygon and they took off back to Sacramento. It took them 15 minutes to get to Sacramento. Hailey hopped off Flygon and said good bye and walked inside her house. Andrew then took off back to DC. He was ready to get his laptop back. Dan and Cat had went to the pokemon center with Mika to get some much needed rest. Dan was happy to finally get another match with Andrew he was only hoping he would be able to take out at least more then two pokemon. The only problem was which pokemon should he prepare for. His only thought is to prepare for the team Andrew always uses, but one thing is for sure what pokemon will Andrew will use as his 6th. Last time he used Swampert, but just yesterday he saw Andrew use Aggron. All Dan can do is prepare for both.
(Back in DC)
Andrew landed near the hotel he had been staying at. He walked up to the door where he say a note it said when you get back come to the Lincoln Monument. Andrew thought nothing of it but his only thought would be to go to it. So he left the hotel and walked over to it and he stood looking at it for minutes when I all to familiar face walked over to him.
"Claus why are you here?" asked Andrew grabbing hold of one of his pokeballs.
"Hear me out Andrew I'm not here to cause trouble and for proof you can have this," said Claus handing Andrew his backpack.
Andrew opened it and inside there was his laptop and the Flame Orb. Andrew was confused on why Claus had just given him this.
"Explain yourself," demanded Andrew.
"My name is Claus Von Buren I work with the International Police. I was asked by Ash to investigate Goodsworth. When Ash first meet him he gave Ash an impression that he was trouble," said Claus.
"Then why were you part of DD?" asked Andrew.
"Andrew I had to go undercover to discover the truth behind Goodsworth, Yes I know I did some bad things by taking the Flame Orb, but I had all intentions to bring it back when I thought you were not one of Goodsworth's pawns like the Champion before you," said Claus.
"Then why did you attack DC?" asked Andrew.
"I was not in charge of the attack I was in San Fran. Goodsworth organized the whole thing behind your back," said Claus.
"I guess I believe you, but why didn't you come to me earlier?" asked Andrew.
"I was waiting for Ash to make sense of your actions as Champion when I had told him of the actions on the Lake of Four Seasons he had told me to go ahead and talk to you," said Claus.
"Ok then why did you wait so long to do so?" asked Andrew.
"I waited as long as I could to gather as much info as I could on DD, That was till Goodsworth found out who I was and marked me a traitor," said Claus.
"Where is the info you gathered?" asked Andrew.
"I will be presenting it to the League of Champions in Berlin, Germany. Ash had told me once I knew you could be trusted to ask you to come to it," said Claus.
"I'll come when is it?" asked Andrew.
"In two weeks in the League Office of the German Champion," said Claus.
"What are you going to do now?" asked Andrew.
"The only thing I can and that is to help you find and capture Goodsworth," said Claus.
"Where are you going to be at?" asked Andrew.
"Can I have your phone?" asked Claus in return.
Andrew reluctantly handed him his cell phone. Claus inputted his number into as well as his badge number so when he called he could have it. He then handed Andrew back his phone and got ready to leave.
"And Andrew this meeting never took place and when you are asked about your laptop tell them that you had found it in your room and the Flame Orb just return it to its resting place never to be disturbed again," said Claus.
"I will do that tomorrow," said Andrew.
"I should inform that a Team Darkness member is here in DC where I'm unsure I am sure he was moved after I was marked a traitor. You better track him down before he gets what he came here for," sad Claus.
"Why is he here?" asked Andrew.
"He is here for the orbs that the Smithsonian has on display the goal now is to awaken the sleeping giants the rest in Hawaii," said Claus leaving.
Andrew then returned to his hotel room and walked inside and turned on his laptop to see what Team Darkness had taken from him. He found out they copied the data he had on Gorudon and Kyorge. They also copied the floor plans on the orbs and any and all data on them. He then examined the Flame Orb and was grateful for it to be back in his hands and not the hands of Team Darkness. After all that he finally fell asleep.
This is the end of Dan's training with his mega Blaziken. I will no back track the days that took place to follow what Brady, Emma, and Katie had done all this time. Also I am sorry for the delay I had rewrote this chapter since when I had finished it earlier in the week and disliked the way I took it so I now came up with this so enjoy. We have finally learned why Claus was marked a traitor and now we understand that he is on the side of the good guys. He gave Andrew back his laptop and the Flame Orb. He had stolen them from Team Darkness when he was still a member.
