(Friday Morning)
It was 6:30 in the morning and Andrew was awake wanting to get in some training with Flygon before anyone else got up. Andrew got dressed quickly and asked the Nurse if Flygon was ok enough to do some flight training. She said he was ok enough to do some. Andrew walked over to the room Flygon was in and found him trying to stretch his wings.
"Hey there buddy," said Andrew.
Flygon turned around to see Andrew standing there. Flygon looked as happy as he could be.
"Ready to get some training in?" asked Andrew.
Flygon stretched out is wings and looked ready to go. Andrew unclipped Flygon's pokeball from his belt and returned him. After returning him, Andrew left the room and walked outside. He walked over to the two small arena's behind the Pokemon Center. He then called out Flygon. Flygon looked around to see that he wasn't trapped in the room. He launched off the ground and into the air. Flygon was excited to be in the air again. Andrew watched as Flygon flew around. While all this was going on outside, Katie was just waking up. She looked around to see everyone still asleep. She got up took a quick shower and walked over to grab her belt which had her pokeballs on it and left outside. Once outside she looked up to see a green dragon zoom above her. In a few seconds later zoomed above her again. She seen that he stopped behind the Pokemon Center. She walked back there to see it was Andrew and his trustee Flygon. She walks over to them.
"It looks like Flygon it feeling better," said Katie.
"I know, I'm glad too see that he is," replied Andrew.
"How long have you been up?" asked Katie.
"I think just as the sun was coming up," answered Andrew.
"You must have really wanted to work with Flygon," said Katie.
"That and I know Flygon here doesn't like to be grounded," said Andrew.
"Are you guys doing anything with the orbs today?" asked Katie.
"We are going to have them out on the floor of the Museum today. It will only be for a short period time because of the Contest today," answered Andrew.
"I forgot that was today," replied Katie.
"Due to the Contest the city is more packed then normal," said Andrew.
Andrew looked off because he thought something was wrong at the moment. Unfortunately he wasn't the only one experiencing this. Dan in his bed had just woke up an experienced a nightmare of sorts. After Dan woke he looked over at a table next to him to see his mega ring flashing. Andrew flashed a look at and noticed the same thing. Mika was also feeling something was wrong she was up looking around before looking at her mega ring.
"Andrew is something wrong?" asked Katie.
"I don't know at the moment, but I have to go talk to Dan," answered Andrew returning Flygon.
"I'm coming with you then," replied Katie.
Andrew and Katie begun to walk away from the Pokemon Center in the direction of the town. Once at the center of town he ran into Mika who was also looking stressed.
"Andrew did you get a strange feeling?" asked Mika.
"I did," answered Andrew.
"I don't like the idea something is happening," said Mika.
"I don't either," replied Andrew.
"What are you two talking about? What's happening?" asked Katie.
Andrew, Mika and Katie now walked over to where Dan and Cat were staying. Once inside that Pokemon Center you could see Dan pacing back and forth.
"Katie would you excuse us three for a minute?" asked Andrew.
"Take all the time you need," said Katie worried about Andrew.
Andrew, Dan, and Mika walked outside and begun to talk.
(Outside the Pokemon Center)
"I have to know did we all feel something was wrong?" asked Andrew.
"I had a strange nightmare," answered Dan.
"I felt crushed," said Mika.
"Dan what was the nightmare like?" asked Andrew.
"I saw people invade the Mega Guru's home and I think they took mega rings," answered Dan.
"If that is so then we must go check on him," replied Mika.
"Mika are you up to going to check on him?" asked Andrew.
"I will leave at once," answered Mika.
"Why not all of us go?" asked Dan.
"If what the guru said was right their next target would be here and that would be the orbs," answered Andrew.
"What if they are still at his home?" asked Dan.
"Mika is strong enough to handle herself. You and I need to stay here and be prepared to fight off Mega Evolved pokemon," answered Andrew.
"We are needed their not here though," said Dan.
"I know that, but if they attack here no one trainer can stop mega evolved pokemon," said Andrew.
"You have four more than capable trainers in the elite four," said Dan.
"Yes they are great trainers, but they cannot even beat a mega pokemon used the wrong way," replied Andrew.
"Ok your right. Mika get there quickly," said Dan.
"I will. My Dragonite can fly me there fast," said Mika leaving Andrew and Dan.
"Are we going to prepare for them?" asked Dan.
"No if they know we know they may wait to strike," answered Andrew.
"I better go then Cat should be up soon," said Dan walking back inside.
"Good luck to her in the upcoming contest," said Andrew walking back inside as well.
Andrew followed him back inside and walked over to where Katie was. She was talking to Ally who was getting ready for the Contest. Katie flashed a look at the door as it opened and saw Andrew and Dan walk back in. She said good bye to Ally and walked over to him.
"Andrew you look a little better," said Katie.
"I don't feel any better," said Andrew.
"You were fine for a moment then he looked off in a blank stare. I was worried about you when I seen that. I didn't know what to think," said Katie.
"I don't even know how to explain what I felt," replied Andrew.
"Do you want to talk about it?" asked Katie.
"I will when I know I what I felt," answered Andrew.
"You have to know something," said Katie.
"It's just a jumbled mess inside my head right now. Once I can make sense of it I'll talk to you then," said Andrew.
"Ok," said Katie.
The two of them left that Pokemon Center and walked over to the center on the outskirts of town where they had been staying. Once back Emma, Brady, and Zac were up and dressed.
(Ealier at the Guru's Home)
Give them up old man. Don't make me use force," threatened Goodsworth with a Tyranitar next to him.
Mewtwo appeared before the old man and sent a stream of fire that forced Goodsworth and his Tyranitar to back up. The Guru stood up and was quiet upset with Goodsworth, Marco and other Team Darkness minions standing on his home.
"You two should be ashamed of yourselves. You have to steal from my home. To get something you will never be able to control. That power only belongs to those who earn it," said the guru.
"I take what I want and will use better then any other who have actually earned it," said Goodsworth.
"You won't use it you'll abuse it," said the guru.
"Save your mumbo jumbo for someone who actually cares old man," replied Goodsworth.
Marco's Metagross tried to attack Mewtwo's blindside but Mewtwo made quick work of that by hitting Metagross with a shadow ball.
"Foolish child trying to blindside me," said Mewtwo with anger in voice.
"Mewtwo calm down," said the guru.
"Master they are trying to take something we swore to protect," said Mewtwo.
"Mewtwo we will fight them back, but we will ultimately fail it will then fall to Dan and Andrew protect the orbs," said the guru.
"Then lets fight back," said Mewtwo.
"Mewtwo lets show them mega evolution then," said the guru tapping his keystone on his cane.
Mewtwo was encased in a sphere of pure psychic energy and once it dissipated Mewtwo was considerably different. Mewtwo lost his tail in the transformation and lost a couple of feet in height, but at the same time a long purple appendage grew from the back of his head, a half-ring type structure growing on his head as well.
"Mewtwo show them psychic," said the guru.
Mewtwo's eyes turned blue and sent a wave of energy out it sent many of the minion's and their Mightyena off the mountain. Metagross was able to withstand the attack so did Tyranitar.
"Metagross use hyper beam,"
"Tyranitar use hyper beam as well,"
Both pokemon sent a powerful beam of orange at Mewtwo. Mewtwo created two ball of green energy in front of his appendages and sent it in the two directions of each hyper beam. The two attacks managed to overtake the power energy balls and nailed Mewtwo. The two attack exploded as they hit Mewtwo. Mewtwo was sent back hitting the guru. Both of them start to faint.
"What a shame I was hoping for a better battle," said Goodsworth taunting them.
Mewtwo returned to normal right both of them fainted. Goodsworth and Marco tore through his home and found two mega ring's and the two stones they needed. Just as they came they left leaving the guru and Mewtwo down and out.
(30 minutes after the battle)
Mika arrived at the mountain and saw both the guru and Mewtwo struggling to their feet.
"Guru are you ok?" asked Mika.
"I am child," answered the Guru.
"What happened?" asked Mika.
"They came and took two mega rings," answered the Guru.
"Let's get you two some medicine then," said Mika going into his house to gather the herbs they needed.
Once back outside both Mewtwo and the Guru were back to their feet. Mika handed them the herbs.
"Could you make us a cup of tea?" asked the Guru.
"Yes I will," said Mika.
Mika boiled up some water and put it in tea cups and handed one to Mewtwo and the other to the Guru. The Guru put the herbs in their cups and drank it.
"Mika I'm going to go get some sleep," said the Guru.
"I'm going to stay till you are better," said Mika.
"Child you are always welcome in my home. I accept your company," said the guru.
"Where do you think they will hit next?" asked Mika.
"It's now up to Andrew and Dan to protect the orbs and return the mega rings," answered the Guru.
"Can they do it?" asked Mika.
"Yes they can both are strong trainers. It will also help to know that the one item Andrew holds will awaken a great power inside a legendary dragon known as Rayquaza," answered the guru.
"What do you mean?" asked Mika.
"The orbs will be stolen when I'm not sure. Once the giants of sea and land are awakened our only hope is that Andrew realizes that the item he holds is something more then what it appears," answered the guru.
"The giants will be awakened one way or another," said Mika.
"I have said to much I must get some rest," said the guru.
"You have to say more," said Mika.
"I will once we get to Richmond," said the guru.
"We are going back?" asked Mika.
"After some much needed rest," said the guru drifting off to sleep.
Mika sat in front of the home she was still thinking about what he said.
(Back to Richmond)
"Where have you two been?" asked Zac.
"Does it matter," answered Katie.
"Yeah it does," replied Zac.
"Zac just shut up for one minute," said Andrew.
"What did I do?" asked Zac.
"It's nothing Andrew is just a little stressed out," answered Katie.
"About what?" asked Brady.
"He doesn't know yet," answered Katie.
"That's enough about it don't you all have something to do," said Andrew.
"Yeah we were going to get some training before going to the Contest," said Zac.
"I better head over to the museum before the others get there," said Andrew.
"I guess we'll see you later," said Katie.
"Yeah just save me a seat at the Contest," said Andrew leavening.
He left the Pokemon Center he was still puzzled. He kept trying to put what he felt, what Dan saw and what Mika felt. Once he got to the Museum the other four were already there.
(At the Museum)
"About time you got here Andrew," said Morgan.
"Sorry I was caught up with something," said Andrew.
"It's cool Andrew at least you're here before the museum opened," said Marc.
"Let's just move the orbs out for the public to see," said Andrew.
The five oft hem walked downstairs and opened the door were the orbs had been locked up. Andrew with Marc's help moved the orbs from the container they were in downstairs into a different container which made them easier to see. Once back upstairs Andrew pushed the cart they were on into a separate room. Andrew and Marc put them on a stand and pushed the cart off to the side.
"How do we want to protect them?" asked Marc.
"Morgan and Marc will stay in this room. Tina and Melissa will be out in the front of the Museum. I will be in the security room watching it over it all. If there is any trouble we must and I mean MUST protect these orbs. If they were to be taken and the giants located this world may be in danger. No screw-ups no mistakes, if you have you can ask someone to leave. Let's get to it then," answered Andrew.
Morgan and Marc stayed in the room they were in Melissa and Tina went over to the emission desk and stood there. Andrew walked over the security room and stood behind Tony who was watching the camera's.
(At the Pokemon Center)
"I think I'm ready to face Sara," said Zac.
"Zac you can't rush into it," said Katie.
"If it wasn't for the stupid Contest I would be battling the gym leader today," said Zac.
"No one told you, You had to go to the Contest. We do it to support Gabby and Ally," said Katie.
"I'm going because I don't trust Andrew," said Zac.
"What does that have to do with anything?" asked Katie.
"It has everything to do with it," answered Zac.
"You two are acting like kids that's enough," said Brady stepping in.
Katie walked off before hearing anymore. She walked over to the Museum she wanted to see the orbs again and she didn't want to hear any more from Zac.
"Zac I have to ask what is your problem with Andrew?" asked Brady.
"I don't have a problem with him as trainer, but as a person. Katie spends more time with him then any of us if he is around," answered Zac.
"I see your jealous of him and Katie," replied Brady.
"I just think he isn't right for her," said Zac.
Emma walked over from the training arena she was at and joined in on the conversation.
"I may not always get my little sister, but she is always a good judge of character. So basically she can make her own decisions. Even if I was to say anything she won't listen," said Emma.
(Near the Museum)
Two helicopters land and Marc and Goodsworth walk out of one and about 6 minions out of the other. Alex, Kerry and Ariel were waiting with them were 10 other minions.
"Sir everything is ready for us to move in," said Alex.
"Perfect we first must get Andrew away from them," said Goodsworth.
"I think I have the plan for that," said Marco.
"What would that be?" asked Goodsworth.
"We use our new powerful mega pokemon and attack the town he will protect them. Which means the minions and those three have to get the orbs and meet back here. Once we defeat Andrew we will meet back here as well. Then we shall have the orbs and be one step closer to our goal," answered Marco.
"I like it," said Goodsworth.
"We are ready then," said Alex.
Goodsworth called out his Tyranitar that was wearing what looks like a chest piece with his mega stone in it. Marco called out Metagross and he had his stone near his X on his head. The minions and Alex, Kerry, and Ariel made the short walk over to the Museum while Marco and Goodsworth mega evolved their pokemon and made their way to start attacking the town. Both pokemon looked different in their mega forms. Metagross constantly floats, and its legs become arms. The cross on its face turn pale gold, and it gains two small holes and a spike immediately below the cross, giving the impression of a goatee. Its multiple brains process information simultaneously, enabling it to calmly assess the tide of a battle and defeat its opponent with accuracy. Mega Metagross also uses the psychic power inside its body to launch powerful attacks. Its claws are hard as steel and can easily smash even large chunks of rocks.
Tyranitar has more gaps in its armor than its normal form, with four new triangular holes along the sides of its neck and one on its throat. The four on its chest are now larger with the top two containing red ovals. While the spikes along the back of its neck grow shorter, it the ones on its head elongate to form prominent ridges along its brows. The center spike on its head becomes a long, upright horn. Its chest plate expands, curving over its shoulders and along its back to form three long, irregular spikes on each side of its body. The scales on Mega Tyranitar's belly has now become red instead of blue and seethe with energy, enabling it to emanate more power.

Once both mega pokemon were outside the Museum both attacked with a hyper beam right at the door. The attacks smashed through the glass door and filled the rooms with some smoke all that was left were the door was, was a gapping hole. After hearing the explosion Dan and Blaziken started running towards it. Cat was in tow.
"Let's do it again," said Marco with a laugh.
Again both pokemon charged up a hyper beam but before they could unleash it they were hit by a blue flamethrower. Standing in the doorway was Andrew and his Mega Charizard.
"Look Marco it's the Champion," said Goodsworth laughing.
"If you want the orbs you are going to have to go through me and Charizard," said Andrew.
Charizard let out a growl as a response. That growl would scare any normal pokemon, but not the two mega pokemon standing in front of him.
Marco and Goodsworth returned their Mega Pokemon and started to run down the street. Marc ran outside before Andrew took off after them.
"Andrew what do you want us to do?" asked Marc.
"Protect the orbs. I'm going after Marco and Goodsworth. While I'm gone Marc your in charge," answered Andrew.
"You can trust me," said Marc.
Andrew took off after them after hearing that from Marc. Andrew followed the two of them to the Richmond Dome. He was outside and they were inside. You could tell because they blasted the door open with a hyper beam. Dan and Cat ran over to Andrew before walking inside the Richmond Dome.
"Andrew what happened?" asked Dan.
"I chased Goodsworth and Marco to inside the dome," answered Andrew.
"What do you want us to do?" asked Dan.
"Cat can head over to the Museum and help. I need your help to take down two mega pokemon with me," answered Andrew.
"I can help here," said Cat.
"Cat I like your courage, but your pokemon will not last against a mega pokemon," said Andrew.
"Dan you have to tell him I can be here and I won't get in the way," said Cat looking at Dan.
"Sorry Cat I don't want any harm to come to you. So for me go help out at the Museum," said Dan looking Saddened by his words.
Cat started to go towards the Museum, but before she made it she could see Team Darkness members storming the building.
(At the Dome)
"Dan are you ready?" asked Andrew.
"Yes I am," answered Dan.
Dan mega evolved his Blaziken before they walked into the building. Inside the dome the bleachers had many seats missing. The seats were just destroyed by attacks. On the left The titantron that would display the scores for the Contest had been destroyed and it was on fire.
"I'm glad the Contest wasn't going when they started attacking," said Dan.
"So am I. This could have been a lot worse," replied Andrew.
"Look who finally showed up," said Marco with his Metagross in front of him.
"I'm glad you showed up Andrew and whose the trainer with you," asked Goodsworth.
"Well sir that would be Daniel. He too has a mega pokemon," answered Marco.
"No words from our outspoken Champion," said Goodsworth laughing.
"Your actions are unbelievable. Attacking a city like this. You could have done so much harm to people around you," said Andrew.
"Foolish child. You have to step on a few toes to get what you want and I'm more then willing to sacrifice people to accomplish my goals," said Goodsworth.
"Enough from you I'm going to bring an end to you and your crazy dreams," said Andrew.
"Tyranitar show him hyper beam,"
"Charizard counter with flamethrower,"
Charizard sent a powerful stream of blue flames at Tyranitar who was getting ready to unleash a powerful attack. The flamethrower would have it if Metagross didn't jump in front of the attack and brought up a green shield that took all the damage from flamethrower.
"Dan it's your turn," said Andrew.
"Blaze Uppercut combo, Blaziken," said Dan.
Blaziken used is lighting speed to strike Tyranitar right under the chin with his glowing white hand. This attack forced Tyranitar to stop charging up for a hyper beam. After taking the sky uppercut, Tyranitar also took one of Blaziken's flaming feet to the gut.
"Metagross drop your shield and deliver a zen headbutt to Blaziken,"
"I don't think so. Charizard use flamethrower,"
The X on Metagross' head became a purple color as he tried to strike Blaziken. Charizard sent a powerful blue stream of flames at Metagross. The attack hits Metagross and pushes him at Blaziken. Blaziken sees him coming and uses his lighting speed to get out of the way. Metagross ended up hitting Tyranitar and knocking both of them down. This only angered both Tyranitar and Metagross. Andrew and Dan could see the pain in their pokemon but there was nothing they could do. Hopefully if they end this battle quickly it might not do so much harm to them.
"What keeps those two pokemon going?" asked Dan.
"Anger," answered Andrew.
"Tyranitar use hyper beam,"
"Metagross use hyper beam,"
"Charizard use flamethrower,"
"Blaziken use flamethrower as well,"
Metagross and Tyranitar sent powerful beams of orange at the two fire type pokemon. The two fire type pokemon sent extremely powerful streams of flames at Metagross and Tyranitar. The two hyper beams became one powerful beam before meeting head on with the combined super flamethrower. The two attacks created a massive explosion sent waves of energy out that sent the four pokemon and their trainers away from the arena. Dan was sent skipping across the ground he stopped just feet away from the entrance. Once he hit the ground he passed out. Blaziken landed a few feet away in normal form. Andrew was also sent skipping across the ground he landed against a wall near the entrance. Charizard landed on the ground a few feet away from Andrew. he two was in normal form. Marco was sent flying into the wall behind. Metagross just fell to the ground. Goodsworth he too was pushed over near the same wall as Marco. Tyranitar landed near him as well. Andrew was on the verge of passing out when noticed four Team Darkness members rushed in their to save their fallen. They returned Goodsworth's Tyranitar and Marco's Metagross to their pokeballs and carried them out. After seeing them being carried out Andrew passed out.
(A Few Minutes Later)
Morgan and Marc were in the Dome. Looking for Andrew. Andrew and Dan both already came to and they were sitting up. Andrew and Dan had already returned their fire pokemon. They both wanted to stand up, but the pain kept them from doing so. Morgan and Marc already called for the ambulance. After being called two showed up and two paramedics, and two EMT's rushed out of the ambulance and over to them. The first thing those two checked was for broken bones. Surprisingly neither Andrew nor Dan had any. The paramedic's helped both of them stand up. They helped them walk over to the ambulance's outside and once inside they were taken to a hospital. Amongst the crowd outside the Dome was Cat and Katie. The crowd watched as the Ambulance's drove off.
(At the Hospital)
Andrew and Dan were put in wheelchairs and pushed into separate rooms while they waited for a doctor to see them. The Emergency Room was packed with people that were inside the Museum that suffered the effects of stun spore.
(Inside Andrew's Room)
Once he was pushed into the room he struggled to his feet and slowly walked over to the bed to sit down in it. He was slightly dizzy and had some pain, otherwise he was fine. His mind was racing about the events after the two attacks collided. He begun to wonder if there was a way to have avoided all of it, but nothing came to mind.
"Hello my name is Dr. Kumar," said Dr. Kumar.
"I'm Andrew," said Andrew.
"The paramedic told us that no bones were broken which is great. I still want to give you an X-ray. I would also like to give you a concussion test," said Dr. Kumar.
"Ok that's sounds fine," said Andrew.
"If you would please get back into the wheelchair so I can take you to the X-ray machine," said Dr. Kumar.
Andrew struggled back to his feet and walked slowly over to the wheelchair. Once in the wheelchair Dr. Kumar pushed the chair over to the elevator and to one of the three X-ray rooms.
(Inside Dan's Room)
Once inside his room he slowly stood up and walked over to the bed before just sitting there. He kept thinking about the battle he just had. The last thing he remembers is being sent into the air by a wave of energy from when the two attacks hit one another. A few moments went by and a Doctor walked into his room.
"Good Afternoon my name is Dr. Rodrick," said Dr. Rodrick.
"Hi, I'm Daniel," said Dan.
"So I have to go over what I'm going to check you for. First off even though it says you didn't break any bones I think we should still give you an X-ray. Next I have to give you a concussion test. Afterward we will deal with some of the cuts and bruises you may have," said Dr. Rodrick.
"Ok," said Dan.
The doctor pushed the wheelchair over to him and helped him get in. He then pushed him over to the elevator and then into one of the X-ray machines.
(Inside the Hospital)
After the two doctors performed the x-ray's. They had their nurses push Andrew and Dan back into their rooms. While they waited for the x-rays. After seeing the x-rays it was apparent nothing was broken. After seeing that the two doctors walked over to see Andrew and Dan and perform a concussion test. That test lasted 15 minutes before the doctors determined they both have concussion-like symptoms, but no concussion. The two doctors explained everything to Andrew and Dan.
"Ok Andrew no bones are broken but after checking some you have some bruised ribs which from what I heard happened to you is a miracle that you managed to only have bruised ribs. You also have no concussion, but have concussion-like symptoms. I recommend rest and no battling for the next four to five days. I will be back later to check out of the hospital," said Dr. Kumar leaving.
"Well Daniel no bones are broken and you have no concussion. You have some bruised ribs like your friend Andrew does and concussion-like symptoms which would explain the dizzy feeling. The best medicine for that is rest and taking it easy for the next four maybe five days. I would also recommend not to battle while your healing. Also you have a guest outside your room. She wants to know if your up to see her," said Dr. Rodrick.
"She can come in," said Dan.
"I'll tell her then," said Dr. Rodrick leaving.
(Inside Dan's Room)
"Daniel how bad is it?" asked Cat.
"Caitlynn I'm going to be fine in four days," answered Dan.
"That's good I was worried about you," said Cat.
"It could have been a lot worse I guess," said Dan.
"Don't say things like that," said Cat.
"How are you doing?" asked Dan.
"I'm fine now," answered Cat.
"Do you know what happened in the Museum?" asked Dan.
"I wish I did, but once Team Darkness left the Museum. The Pokemon League locked down the museum as well as the city," answered Cat.
"How could the league lock it all down I was with Andrew?" asked Dan.
"it wasn't him. It was Marc and the league commissioner," answered Cat.
"Oh I see," said Dan.
"You look tried," said Cat.
"I am," responded Dan.
"Get some sleep then I'll be here when you wake up," said Cat.
Dan drifted off to sleep shortly after she had said that. Across from him Andrew was awake and trying to make sense of everything still. He too had some guest wanting to see him.
(Inside Andrew's Room)
"Hey Champ," said Marc.
"Good to see all of you," said Andrew.
"Jen is in total control over the situation here. She did say you take care of yourself we have a major problem we have to address when you feel better," said Marc.
"What would that be?" asked Andrew.
"The orbs have been stolen," answered Marc.
"That's news I didn't want to hear, but I guess I have work to do when I am allowed to leave today," said Andrew.
"You actually don't Jen said she doesn't want you to work till you are better," said Marc.
"Ok I guess I have to wait," said Andrew.
"We'll be ready when you get back," said Marc.
"What do you mean when I get back?" asked Andrew.
"Jen told us we are leaving back to DC tomorrow," answered Marc.
"What if the orbs are still in the city?" asked Andrew.
"They are not here. I watched as Team Darkness boarded a helicopter with them and left," answered Marc.
"Ok if you four would mind leaving I would like to get some rest," said Andrew.
Marc, Tina, Morgan, and Melissa all left Andrew alone in his room to get some sleep. Rather then sleep Andrew sat in the bed and thought about the events again.
"What could I have done differnet?" asked Andrew to himself.
He thought about the moment at the Museum when he had decided to run after Marco and Goodsworth.
"I should have stayed and stopped the attack. If I did I could have prevented the orbs from being stolen. I blame myself for this huge mistake. I know what I must do to fix it. I must resign as Champion and hunt down Team Darkness without and restrictions from the League," said Andrew to himself.
Everything in the room started to slow down and eventually stop. In the room appeared the Mega Guru and his Mewtwo, and in Daniel's room is Mika getting him.
"Andrew whatever you're thinking don't do it," said the guru.
Before Andrew could reply Mika and Daniel walked in. You could clearly see Dan was in some pain. Andrew slowly got out of the bed and walked around the room before stopping and looking out the window.
"Andrew you can't change past events, but you can help stop the future from being in jeopardy," said the guru.
"I can't accept this. It was my mistake I made a bad call and now I put many lives in danger," replied Andrew. With some anger in his tone.
"You can't blame yourself we all make mistakes. That's the way life is if you can't live with it then your life is doomed," said the guru.
"I know about making mistakes, but as Champion I'm put under so much scrutiny for my mistakes even the small ones," yelled Andrew who was more angry now then before.
"Anger won't get you anywhere. You need to calm down. A clear head will help you solve this," said the guru.
"I'm able to put past mistakes behind me, but not this one. This one stings," replied Andrew.
"All mistakes sting even small ones am I right Dan," said the mega guru.
"Yeah. I made a mistake challenging you Andrew when I clearly wasn't ready. I lost badly and when I got home the loss hurt a lot," said Dan.
"See what I mean," said the guru.
"Like I've said its a loss you learn from it. The orbs being stolen is worse then a loss," replied Andrew.
"Andrew wake up its time accept that you couldn't have changed what happened. Just move on," said Mewtwo who has been quiet this whole time till this moment.
Andrew looked over at the psychic pokemon who was floating in the air. Then looked back outside.
"I have put this world in danger. I have to fix it," said Andrew.
"Andrew you are not alone. You'll have these two, and you'll have others that will back you up," said the guru.
"You and I may not always see eye to eye, but I'll back you up," said Dan.
"Andrew, when I first meet you I considered you an annoying little brother, I now also consider Daniel one," said Mika.
"Thanks you two," replied Andrew.
"There are others in this region that have your back and don't forget it. Take care of yourselves, I must be leaving. You all will see me when the next two ring holders are ready," said the guru.
"I have question before you leave guru. Did you help us when we were sent flying from the attack?" asked Andrew.
"If you must know child I did," answered Mewtwo.
Mewtwo and the guru disappeared and time resumed. Dan walked back into his room and his friend Cat looked at him. She was clearly puzzled.
"How did you get up without me knowing?" asked Cat.
"It's a rather long story," answered Dan.
(In Real Time)
Dan got back into his bed just as his Doctor walked in.
"In order for me to release you. I need to know if there is a person that can take care of you if you need it," said Dr. Rodrick.
"Yeah my friend Caitlynn here can," replied Dan.
"Ok Daniel I'll go get the paperwork ready to release you," said Dr. Rodrick.
Dr. Kumar had returned to Andrew's room. Inside the room he was sitting on the bed while Mika was sitting on the couch.
"Are you ready to leave Andrew?" asked Dr. Kumar.
"I am," answered Andrew.
"The problem is I need to know do you have someone that look after you?" asked Dr Kumar.
"Not at the moment," answered Andrew.
"I'll give you some time to get ahold of someone that is willing to do so," said Dr. Kumar leaving.
After he left he called Mika over to his bedside.
"You know I can't look after you," said Mika.
"I know that. I need you to do me a favor," replied Andrew.
"What would that be?" asked Mika.
"I need you to find my friend Katie. She was with me when I meet with you this morning," answered Andrew.
"Do you have her phone number?" asked Mika.
"I do. I'll call her to ask her where she is. Once she tells me can you get her," answered Andrew.
"Yeah I can," replied Mika.
Andrew grabbed his phone off the nightstand next to his bed and scrolled through his contacts to find Katie. He called her. It rang for a few moments then she answered. After Andre explained everything to her. After hearing it all she told him that she had returned to the Pokemon Center they were staying at. He moved the phone from his mouth and told Mika where she was Mika left after hearing it.
"Thanks Katie that's all I needed to know. Talk to you later," said Andrew hanging up.
Dr. Rodrick walked back into Dan's room with a clipboard in hand. Attached to the clipboard was release papers. Dr. Rodrick handed them to Dan and he signed all of them before handing them back to Dr. Rodrick.
"Thank you Daniel and please take care of yourself. I'd rather not see you again under these circumstances," said Dr. Rodrick.
"Dr. Rodrick is it possible for me to fly home?" asked Dan.
"Well Daniel I would advise you not to fly. Maybe if your friend here flew you home then I guess that's fine," answered Dr. Rodrick.
"Thanks for letting me know," replied Dan.
(After Leaving the Hospital)
After all the events that had happened it was 6:30 at night. Dan and Cat gathered their things and left the hospital. The two of them walked back over to the Pokemon Center near the center of town.
"Cat are you ok with flying Salamence home?" asked Dan.
"You'll be there to so I think I'll be able to," answered Cat.
"Ok we'll leave tomorrow," replied Dan.
Dan got up and walked over to the Nurse to get his pokemon checked before they leave tomorrow.
"Cat what happened to the Contest that was suppose to take place?" asked Dan.
"The Contest was postponed till further notice," answered Cat.
"Where's the next one then?" asked Dan.
"The next contest is in Cincinnati, Ohio" answered Cat.
"I guess once I'm feeling better we'll head there," replied Dan.
"That sounds fine," said Cat.
The Nurse walked over to the two of them and handed Daniel his pokemon back.
"Your pokemon are in tip top shape," said the nurse.
"Thank you," replied Daniel.
The nurse walks back over to the counter next to her Chansey.
Dan with help from Cat walked back upstairs to lay down on his bed. For a few minutes Dan looked up at the ceiling before he fell asleep. Cat looked over at him smiled and she went back downstairs to get something to eat.
(Back at the Hospital)
Andrew was sitting on the edge of the bed. He was trying to hide some of the pain he was in. For some time he sat there thinking about everything. He knew it was best to put this day behind him and move forward. After telling himself that he started to walk around. As he was walking Mika and Katie walked in.
"Andrew what happened?" asked Katie.
"I'd rather not explain at the moment," answered Andrew.
"Mika explained some of it, but I don't have all of the details," replied Katie.
"My day has been hell that's all you need to know," said Andrew.
"Mika told me you wanted to ask me something," said Katie.
"You can say no to this. I need to have you watch over me for the next four to five days?" asked Andrew.
"I'll do that it," answered Katie.
"Are you going to talk it over with your friends first?" asked Andrew.
"I'm old enough to make my own decisions. Even if they said no I'd do it anyway," answered Katie.
"Thank you so much," replied Andrew.
"I guess we should get you out of here then," said Katie.
Right after she said that Dr. Kumar walked back in.
"Is this young lady going to take care of?" asked Dr. Kumar.
"Yes she is," answered Andrew.
"Great I'll go print up your release papers then," said Dr Kumar.
Dr. Kumar returned a few minutes later with the papers on a clipboard. Andrew signed all of them and Katie and him left.
(Outside the Hospital)
"Before we head back to the Pokemon Center. We need to go over to the hotel I was in so I can grab my backpack," said Andrew.
"Ok lets go then," said Katie.
The two of them walked over to the hotel. He was about ready to get in the elevator before Katie stopped him.
"Why don't you go sit down. I'll go grab your stuff," said Katie.
"Are you sure?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah I am I just need your key," answered Katie.
Andrew took out his wallet and handed Katie his room key. Before she went up Andrew reminded her to grab his laptop that was on the desk. Katie told him ok and she went up to his room. Andrew sat down in the lobby and waited for her. She returned 20 minutes after going up there with his backpack on.
"I'll take it," said Andrew.
Katie handed over to him. Andrew tried to put it on put he couldn't. No matter what he'd try he couldn't put on with all the pain in his back.
"I'll carry it for you Andrew," said Katie taking it from him.
"Thanks," replied Andrew.
Andrew and Katie walked over to the check-out counter.
"I'm checking out," said Andrew handing the lady his room key.
"Ok I hope you have enjoyed your stay here. I hope you will choose this hotel when you return," said the manger.
Andrew and Katie left the hotel back over to the Pokemon Center they were at yesterday and earlier today.
(Back at the Pokemon Center)
Emma, Brady, and Zac are sitting in the front of the Pokemon Center. Emma was not happy at all to see that her younger sister was gone again. She came back before the attack on the Museum and she left after getting a phone call.
"Where have you been Katie?" asked Emma.
"I walked over to check on Andrew here," answered Katie.
"I thought I told you not to leave," said Emma.
"I know you did, but he needed my help with something," replied Katie.
"What could have been that important that you had to leave?" asked Emma.
"I'll answer that. I needed someone to keep an eye on me while I heal. So I asked her to do so," answered Andrew.
"You should have told us before you left and we would have talked about it," replied Emma.
"If I knew that it would have been so much trouble I would asked someone differnet," said Andrew.
"Katie we have our gym battles tomorrow then we are leaving Sunday," said Brady.
"I'm staying here as long as Andrew needs me," replied Katie.
"We are leaving Sunday," said Emma.
"Tell you what once I'm better I'll fly her to Cincinnati," said Andrew.
"No she is leaving with us on Sunday," replied Emma.
"No I'm not Em. I'll be fine here. It's only four or five days from now. I'll be able to watch him just like he'll watch my back," said Katie.
"I know you'll be fine here, but it seems like every time something bad happens he's around," replied Emma.
"Trust me Emma we'll be fine. Let's just focus on our gym battle tomorrow," said Katie.
"I do trust you, but our parents both said to stick together," said Emma.
"I know they did," said Katie.
"I guess your not changing your mind so I have no choice. If something happens call me I'll be back here as soon as I can," said Emma.
"Nothing will happen Emma I'll watch after her," said Andrew.
Zac looked pissed that Emma was letting this happen he wanted to say something, but he didn't he just stood there quietly. Zac was the first to head back upstairs. He was followed by Brady. Then it was Emma. It left Andrew and Katie downstairs.
"Are you going to go to bed too?" asked Katie.
"I'm not really tired," answered Andrew.
"I'll stay up with you then," said Katie.
"Thanks I like having you as company," replied Andrew.
Andrew and Katie walked into the waiting room and took a seat. Katie handed Andrew his backpack. He looked inside of it to make sure everything was there before zipping it up.
"Are the orbs stolen?" asked Katie.
"To be honest with you they are," answered Andrew.
"What is going to happen to this region when the two giants wake up?" asked Katie.
"Hopefully we can stop them before Team Darkness wakes them," answered Andrew.
"What is with meteorite you have?" asked Katie.
"I don't even know yet I just got it," answered Andrew.
"Andrew I have to know why'd you ask me?" questioned Katie.
"I trust you that's why," answered Andrew.
"Is that it?" asked Katie.
"There is, but I'm not going to say anymore because someone is watching us," answered Andrew.
"Who is?" asked Katie.
"Look over by the counter where the nurse was. Zac is listening our conversation," answered Andrew.
They both look over at him. He acts like he isn't listening.
"Well I'm going to go bed I'll talk to you more tomorrow," said Andrew.
"So am I," said Katie.
Andrew and Katie stand up and walk over to the stairs leading upstairs to the rooms. Katie had Andrew's backpack on her shoulders as they went up. Once upstairs Katie handed Andrew his backpack. Andrew walked into the bathroom got dressed and went to bed. Katie also got dressed and she too went to bed.
What a chapter. A lot has happened including the orbs getting stolen. What will happen now knowing that the orbs are gone? We also saw that Daniel and Andrew both got hurt in a battle with Goodsworth and Marco. Now they both have to heal up before they can battle again. The next chapter will feature three gym battles with Sara the US region's youngest gym leader. Good Luck to them.
Trainer Update:
Andrew and Daniel both got hurt.
Andrew almost left the Pokemon League, but changed his mind with help from the guru.
Katie is now taking care of Andrew while he's hurt.
