(Wednesday in Richmond)

Andrew and Katie were both packed up and ready to leave. It is 10am and they both had been up since 7am. They had been paying attention to the weather outside since when they woke up it was raining, Andrew was hoping he didn't have to fly Flygon in the rain. It was about 10:30 when they finally got to leave Richmond.

"It's clear outside," stated Andrew.

"I guess we better go then," replied Katie with some disappointment in her voice.

"Are you packed up and ready?" asked Andrew.

"Yeah I am," answered Katie.

They walked outside and Andrew called out Flygon, Andrew walked in front of him patted his and talked to him. Katie kicked the dirt around trying her best to put a smile on her face. Andrew walked back to the side and hopped on Flygon, he then helped Katie on Flygon and the two of them left Richmond in the direction of Cincinnati.

(In Flight)

"Andrew what's going to happen to this region?" asked Katie.

"What do you mean?" Andrew responded to Katie's question.

"I mean if Groudon and Kyorge are awoken?" asked Katie.

"Hopefully they won't be awoken. Unfortunately if they are we have to fear the worse, no one trainer in this region can match up to the power those two pokemon have," replied Andrew.

"What if you band some of the best this region has to beat?" Katie asked in response.

"That may not even be enough. Goodsworth thinks that having the orbs controls them, they don't those orbs awaken a deep power in side both those pokemon," answered Andrew.

It was another 45 minutes till the arrived in Cincinnati, Andrew had Flygon land in front of the Pokemon Center Emma told Katie they were staying at. Outside was Emma, Brady, and Zac all of them looked happy to see her. On the other hand Katie wasn't that happy to see them she really enjoyed her time with Andrew when it was just her and him. She had learned a lot about him those three days they were alone. She just wished she got to talk to him more on a personal level, but there is always next time.

(In Cincinnati)

Katie walked over towards the door to see her sister and Brady, and Zac.

"Hey Katie," said Emma hugging her.

Brady and Zac walked over to her and said hi as well. She was glad to see her sister. Before she walked in with them she walked back over to Andrew who was getting ready to leave.

"Thanks for the fun you and I had," said Katie.

"I should be saying thanks to you. You kept me company through the time had to heal. Good luck on your next gym battle and hopefully I can go to the Contest here if not I'll see you later," said Andrew.

Katie gave him a hug and a smile before he got on Flygon and took off in the direction of DC. Now that he was fully healed he had to get back and get some work done. It took Andrew about 2 hours for his Flygon and him to finally arrive back in DC. He landed in front of the Pokemon League, he took it all in before walking inside. He walked over to the secretary's desk to check in.

(In Washington DC)

"Good Afternoon Andrew. I was told that Jen wanted to see you when you got back today. So let me page her office to see if she is in," greeted the Secretary.

The Secretary pressed one on the phone and it rang once before Jen picked up.

"Hey Mel what can I do for you?" asked Jen.

"Andrew is here," answered Melody.

"Thanks for letting me know send him to my office as soon as you can," replied Jen.

"He'll be on his now," said Melody.

Melody or the Secretary hung up the phone and told Andrew to head to Jen's office. Andrew walked past the desk and over to the offices he walked into his first. It was a mess he file's scattered around and folders on his desk from months ago. He should really clean it, but he never really had any time to do so. He set his backpack in his chair behind his desk and then walked to the office two rooms down. Jen was sitting in front of her computer typing something up.

"Glad to see your back," said Jen.

"Glad to be back," replied Andrew.

"Well were should I start. Let's see the orbs were stolen under your watch in Richmond. You have an unauthorized ship in Hawaii looking for something that shouldn't be found and last but not least you are now leaving DC again to head to that ship," said Jen.

"Yeah, what's your point," replied Andrew.

"You know that you are in so much trouble for letting all this happen. When I got back people were in my office and investigating some old files," said Jen.

"I understand and I'll take reasonability for letting happen, but I will fix it," replied Andrew.

"I reassured them that you have full control over it," said Jen.

"Who's them?" questioned Andrew.

"The Champion's League," answered Jen.

Andrew took a minute to take it all in before looking back at Jen.

"Andrew if this is not fixed by March of next year they are asking for head," said Jen.

"What do you mean?" asked Andrew looking confused.

"They are going to strip you of the title of Champion," answered Jen.

"Do you know who's leading the investigation?" asked Andrew.

"Lana Krousiv the Russian Champion," answered Jen.

"ok," replied Andrew.

"Also a mysterious envelope is in your office. It was under first class mail. The strange thing is it has no return address and Marc said he'll take blame for letting the orbs get stolen," said Jen.

"He did," replied Andrew.

"The Champion's League said that you'll have to remove him and the others after the Champion's Cup is over as long as you are still Champion at that time," stated Jen.

"How are they taking it?" asked Andrew.

"They're not taking it yet I have not told them," answered Jen.

"This week is just getting better," Andrew said sarcastically.

After saying that Andrew left Jen's office and walked back into his. He found the envelope on top of the filing cabinet. He grabbed it and sat in front of his computer desk, it the note inside was from Claus and.

Dear Andrew,

This is Claus I thought I should inform you that Lana is going above and beyond to remove you. We as in me and Ash cannot understand why, but this letter is to inform you that you can be present at the Champion's League meeting next month. If you are present we might be able to understand better why she is after you. Hope you attend and clear your League's name. And yes we are more than aware of the orbs being stolen better yet Ash actually predicted it. I will be in DC next week, if you need more answered I'll meet you at The at the Washington Monument.

After re-reading it he still could not believe what it said that Lana is after him for no apparent reason. He set the note aside and called for his elite four to come to his office. After waiting 30 minutes one by one they filed in. Tina was first then Morgan with Melissa in tow and last but not least Marc. Marc had in his hand a folder containing a fully detailed report on what happened in Richmond. He talked to everyone there which included Tina, Melissa, Tony and Morgan and got a details from them. In all it was a four page report. He handed it to Andrew before taking a sear next to the others. He looked over the four of them and all of them look emotionally sad. They had no idea what Andrew was going to say to them.

"Before I look at this report is there anything and I mean anything your not telling me that happened that is not listed in this report?" asked Andrew.

"No everything that happened is in that report," replied Marc.

"No," said Melissa stepping up.

"What did you not add?" asked Andrew looking at her.

"I left my post for about 30 minutes to take a phone call. This happened after you left. I didn't tell Marc anyone," replied Melissa.

"Where did you go?" demanded Andrew.

"I acted like I was going to the bathroom so it didn't look suspicious," replied Melissa.

"Thanks for being honest with me," said Andrew grabbing the report.

"Let me be honest with you four. I left you Marc in charge I thought I could count on you four I trusted you four to get the job and yet here we stand orbs missing and my job in limbo. I'm not sure if I'm frustrated in you four or just disappointed. I hand picked all four of you to do what is asked and that is to protect this region," said Andrew.

"I'm sorry Andrew we all think we should have done more. I'm willing to take full blame for it all. So if you want to dish out any punishment please do so to me and me alone," replied Marc.

"Marc I'm not all I want from you four is to have my back from here on out no matter what happens," stated Andrew.

"You can trust me," said Marc.

"I'll have your back Andrew," said Tina.

"As will I," said Morgan.

"I do to," said Melissa.

"Great we have a job to do then. Morgan and Tina head back to Richmond grab any and all tapes on what happened. Melissa you'll stay here and wait till Marc calls you with info on Groudon. Map it all on my computer, look for the file named Map of Region Coastal. It will basically be just a map of Hawaii and afterward start working on a worse case scenario if Groudon is awoken. Marc and I will head to meet with Juan and Harold to gather the info they have. You all have your jobs so lets get to it," said Andrew.

Andrew got up and walked out of his office. He handed Melissa his laptop and told her to stay in her office let no one in even Jen. Morgan and Tina after leaving Andrew's office left back to Richmond. Andrew and Marc flew over to the DC airport and caught the jet the League uses and flew to Hawaii. It was a 10 hour flight from DC to Hawaii. They landed in Honolulu at 10pm after landing they meet with Juan at the airport. They flew on the back of pokemon to get to the ship that they have been using for research and location.

(On the Research Vessel)

Once on board Juan took them to the meeting room where Harold was already waiting for them. He was standing in front of a map they have been working on.

"About time you all got here," said Harold.

"It was a long flight we'll talk about it in the morning let us get some sleep," replied Andrew.

"Reggie will take you to some room," said Juan.

Reggie walked it and showed Andrew and Marc to some rooms two floors up and they went to bed. Harold and Juan continued to work over the night. Before Marc did he texted Melissa and told her just to go get some sleep.

(Elsewhere)

Morgan and Tina have been in Richmond way before Andrew and Marc was in Hawaii. They walked over to the Museum and walked over to the security center which surprisingly was not that damaged. They had to turn the power back on in the building in order to get any video from it. They rewind to the date and made a copy of the whole day before leaving it and walking over to the dome. There was no way they would get anything there. No one was allowed inside because it was demined structurally unsound. So the two of them left Richmond and back to DC after getting that video. Once back to DC they left the video on Andrew's desk before locking the room up again. Hopefully with everything that is present Andrew might be able to see how Team Darkness got away with the orbs.

(Back in Cincinnati)

After watching Andrew fly off Katie walked back inside and took a seat on the couch next to Emma and across from Brady and Zac. All four of them looked happy to see her.

"So Katie how was your time with Andrew?" asked Emma.

"I had fun. We went up to mountain to help some Goomy. I watched Andrew battle someone we meet in Richmond and I caught a Goomy. We drove with the people we in Richmond over to Lakeside and visit a breeding center, that was a lot of fun to see. I also got to fly his Flygon," answered Katie.

"A Goomy," replied Zac with a slight laugh.

"Yeah what's wrong with a Goomy?" asked Katie.

"It's a weak dragon type. If I had to catch a dragon I would want a Gible, a Bagon, Dratini or Deino," replied Zac.

"Why not a Trapinch?" asked Brady.

"If I had to pick a final evolution of the dragons I stated Flygon is just weak compared to Garchomp, Salamence, Dragonite, or Hydreigon," Zac stated simply.

"And yet Andrew uses a Flygon and seems to win a lot with him," replied Katie standing up.

"I bet his Flygon hasn't really faced a challenge," replied Zac.

"I watched his Flygon beat a Salamence in Nashville and Dan's Salamence is well trained," said Katie.

"Must not be that strong if he lost to a Flygon," replied Zac.

"Zac you're going to make more and more people angry with you if you keep talking down trainers like you do," said Katie.

"Katie I don't care I know I'll be the best very soon so I can talk down any trainer I want. Andrew talks down trainers to, but your just to blind to see what he says to you it just sounds like advice, but it isn't," said Zac.

"Zac your such a hot head, your so full of yourself its pathetic," yelled Katie.

"Enough you two," interrupted Emma.

Lucky Emma intervened when she did or this might have turned into a yelling match between the two of them. Katie left them and walked upstairs she didn't want to be around Zac right now and that's why she walked away.

"Zac that was rather mean of you to get mad at her," stated Emma.

"She needs to wake up Andrew isn't the person she thinks he is," replied Zac.

"She would know Andrew better then us she has spent more time with him then any of us," said Emma.

"That doesn't prove anything I don't need to spend any time with that guy to know what type of person he is," said Zac.

Katie walked back down and walked back over to them. She still was annoyed with Zac.

"What type of person is in then?" Katie asked angrily.

"Andrew is condescending, impulsive, cold, annoying, stubborn, demanding, and controlling," replied Zac.

"Zac I think your getting yourself confused with him. You basically described yourself. I'll admit Andrew is very outspoken to the point that he could be impulsive, but that's it," stated Katie.

"Katie your blinded because you like him. If you knew the real Andrew you'll think of him just like I do," replied Zac.

"Blinded," said Katie pausing to let them take it in. "Yeah I'll admit I do like him and it's not because he's Champion its because he is so caring," continued Katie.

"I have heard enough you two are always at each others throat. I want to know why?" Emma asked demanding an answer.

"I don't have to stand here and take this," said Katie running out the Pokemon Center.

"Should we go after her?" asked Brady.

"No just leave she'll be back," replied Emma.

Katie walked around town for awhile just trying to put what Zac said behind her and focus on the gym battle coming up. She was also hoping Andrew did come after his short detour to Hawaii. After spending awhile out she came back to the Pokemon Center. Zac and Brady were out back getting some training in Emma was still inside waiting for Katie to come back.

"Katie please take seat I need to talk to you," said Emma calling Katie.

Katie walked over to the couch Emma was sitting on and took a seat across from her.

"Thank you for at least listening to what I have to say. I think you need return back to Boston now. You just need a break from it all and I think going home will help you," said Emma.

"If you want me to journey with someone else I will. I can ask Ally and Gabby if I can journey with them," said Katie.

"Katie I just think it would be better if you take a break from it all for awhile I never said I didn't want to travel with you," said Emma.

"You know what I'm going to ask them when they get here tomorrow," said Katie walking up the stairs.

Katie stayed up there till it was dinner time. She came down when the Nurse said dinner was ready. She sat quiet at the table while Emma, Zac, and Brady talked. She wanted nothing to do with them for now. After eating she went back upstairs took a shower and went to bed. It was another 2 hours before the others went to bed.

(Back to Hawaii)

It was now early Thursday morning Andrew and Marc had just woke up and joined Harold and Juan down in the command center where they had spent almost all night.

"How much sleep did you two get?" asked Andrew.

"Well I got about 4 hours," answered Harold.

"I got about the same," replied Juan.

"I love that you two like doing this, but you'll work yourself to death if you keep it up," said Andrew.

"We'll take a break from it as soon as we find Kyorge," said Juan.

"Now let's not waste anymore time. What did you two find?" asked Andrew.

"We believe we found the resting spot of Groudon. We didn't go all the way in, but it does match what we were looking for," replied Harold.

"Great we need to enter it," said Andrew.

"Are you sure about that?" asked Marc.

"Yeah I am. I need to know that we found it, if not this trip of ours will be a waste. Harold since you found it I would like you take us to it," replied Andrew.

"Ok I can do that we'll leave immediately," said Harold.

All four of them walk up the stairs and to the deck. Each of them called out their pokemon to fly there. Harold called out Skarmory. Juan called out Altaria. Marc called out his Dragonite and Andrew called out his Flygon. After taking off they followed Harold to the Volcano known as Mauna Loa. They landed at the base of it and continued to follow Harold down the path to an entrance into the Volcano.

"Before we go in Harold and Marc will stay out here to protect the entrance. Do not let anyone in and do not leave till we come out. Juan and I will continue down till we find the proof we need to prove that it is Groudon resting spot," said Andrew.

Both Harold and Marc acknowledged their job and stood at the entrance as Andrew and Juan walked in.

(Inside the Volcano)

They followed the path down they passed a lot of fire type pokemon. Those pokemon didn't really cause much trouble as they continued down the path. After walking for about an hour they came to a fork in the path. One way will lead them further down the other will lead them to an alternate entrance. Andrew and Juan had decided to go down the path that lead them down.

"Is it me or is getting hotter in here?" asked Juan.

"I agree with you on that," replied Andrew.

It was now dark in the cave so Andrew took out two flashlights handing one to Juan before continuing on down the path. As they got closer Andrew and Juan started to notice interesting cave paintings. Most depicting Groudon as he awoke the many years ago it showed the Volcano erupting and flooding the forest around them with lava. It showed how many pokemon fled their home. Juan was about to touch the wall till Andrew stopped him.

"Juan don't that wall," yelled Andrew.

"Why," Juan asked in response.

"The wall is super heated you can tell by the steam coming off it," replied Andrew.

Before going any further Andrew and Juan put on gloves they had brought with them. They kept going down after another an hour they finally reached the center of the volcano. They walked over to the edge and looked into the lava. That is when they saw Groudon he was grey not his normal red color. All that means is he is asleep. He was in the center of the lava. Looking behind him you could see more paintings this one depicting him in Origin Form. It showed his immense power.

"Is that him?" asked Juan.

"Yep that would be him," answered Andrew.

"He doesn't look that bad right now. He actually looks at peace," said Juan.

"Lucky for us he is sleeping," replied Andrew.

"If we could find him what's stopping Team Darkness from finding him?" asked Juan.

"For the time being you and Harold are the only line of defense," answered Andrew.

"Those pictures of him depict him as this unstoppable force," said Juan.

"He is as those pictures show, an unstoppable force and when he meets Kyorge it becomes the Unstoppable Force meets the Immoveable Object, a battle in which there is no winner just destruction," replied Andrew.

"That doesn't sound so good," said Juan.

"I know it doesn't," replied Andrew.

"How do we stop him if awoken?" asked Juan.

"I don't know," answered Andrew.

"You seriously have no plan to stop them," said Juan.

"I'll have one if and when the time comes to it but for now I don't even want to speculate," replied Andrew.

They looked at him for another few minutes before starting to walk back up. It took them another 2 hours to meet up with Marc and Harold. They were still in front of the opening.

"So did you find him?" asked Marc.

"Yeah we did," replied Andrew.

"Now what do we?" asked Marc.

(Back Aboard the Research Vessel)

"We first return back to the research vessel and discuss our plan of attack to protect him," replied Andrew.

The four of them flew back to the research vessel and meet in the command room looking at a map. The had the volcano they just explored circled on the map.

"Before we create a plan I must inform I can only do so much because Jen is on my ass about this project," said Andrew.

"What can you give us?" asked Juan.

"I can lend you one of my elite four and one of the few researches that know a lot about Groudon and Kyorge Dr. Thomas Neville, I can lend you access to one of the most useful databases our region offers. That would be the Pokemon League Database that will allow you access to any and all files we have on Groudon on Kyorge which could be helpful. And last but not least we'll keep funding this project," replied Andrew.

"Are you sure Tom would even do it?" asked Marc.

"Yes I am," answered Andrew.

"That should be enough to help us out," said Juan.

"Security will be your problem to address," said Andrew.

"We can handle that if we need to," replied Juan.

"Ok I'll make a phone call to Tom and tell him to get here soon. I'll let you keep Marc and he'll be in charge from here on. He will log you all in and out of the Pokemon League Database. I trust that you will protect this by any means," said Andrew.

"You have my word," replied Marc.

"Great to hear I'm going to go call Tom and then I'm going back to DC," said Andrew.

Andrew walked outside and made a phone call to Tom. It rang twice before Tom answered.

"Hey Andrew what can I do for you?" asked Tom.

"How would you like to help out on a Pokemon League Project?" Andrew asked in response.

"I'm interested," replied Tom.

"It would involve researching and helping find Kyorge," said Andrew.

"Hmm that is something I would love to do just tell where I have to be," replied Tom.

"I just need you to fly from California to Honolulu and I'll have Marc meet you there," said Andrew.

"The problem with that is I'm a little strapped for cash," said Tom.

"Fine I'll pay for you flight here," replied Andrew.

"Thank you I would like the first flight there so I can get set up," said Tom.

"Fine with me," said Andrew.

Andrew got the phone with Tom an ordered him a first class flight from Sacramento to Honolulu that flight will be tomorrow at 9am after ordering him the ticket Andrew sent Tom the link so he could print out the ticket before returning inside to meet up with the other three.

"Ok Tom will be here tomorrow," said Andrew.

"Where do we have to meet him?" asked Marc.

"You'll meet him in Honolulu and fly him here," answered Andrew.

"I'll meet him there tomorrow then. Andrew I'll call you if anything important comes up," said Marc.

"Ok I'm going to hold you to that," said Andrew leaving back to the deck.

Once back on the deck Andrew called out Flygon to leave back to Honolulu. So he can catch the jet back. Before he left he got a text from Katie saying that she needs to talk to him in person. His response was that he'll fly to Cincinnati Friday. He then boarded Flygon and flew back over to Honolulu. At the airport he boarded the Leagues jet and left back to DC. This was another ten hour flight. It was almost midnight Thursday when he finally got back to DC Andrew was extremely tired and all he wanted to do was go back to his hotel and sleep. Before he could though he was needed at the Pokemon League according to Jen's text message it was urgent.

(Back at the Pokemon League)

Andrew walked in and walked over to Jen's Office she was sitting there with here TV on. It showed that a lab in Sacramento was attacked by Team Darkness.

"Andrew is was your family's lab no one or pokemon was hurt it was just burned down to the ground," said Jen.

Andrew for the first time in awhile was speechless. He had nothing to say and he didn't even move.

"Andrew are you ok?" asked Jen.

Andrew started to shed a tear for the first time he was almost dead inside. That was his family's lab it was home to all his memories the worst part was that two years ago today he left that same lab to begin his journey. Andrew's first instinct was to call his family and so he did. He called his mom, brother, sister and brother-in-law. They all said the exact same thing they were ok and everything will be fine.

"Andrew please say something?" asked Jen.

Andrew walked out of Jen's office and walked over to his office he locked himself in it and looked at the picture on his desk it was him and all his pokemon and the back around was the lab. His phone started to ring the first time it was Katie and the next time it was Hailey. He took Hailey's phone call.

"Andrew I helped the best I could but there just to many," said Hailey.

"It's fine just go be with my family I'll get back there as soon as I can," said Andrew.

"Don't come Andrew I'm standing here with them all they are telling me the same thing," replied Hailey.

"I can't just sit here and not help out," said Andrew.

"The one in charge of the attack wants a rebuttal from you. You can't give in Andrew you must stay strong for all of us. He also said something about getting even with the other person that hurt them in Richmond" said Hailey.

"I'm still coming, but for now I'm going to have press conference about it tomorrow hopefully I can get there by Monday," said Andrew.

"Everyone here is happy with that idea," said Hailey.

"Fine I'll see you Monday," said Andrew hanging up.

After getting off the phone with Hailey he knew what was going to happen next he needed to get ahold of Dan he took out his phone and called him. He left a message on his phone because he didn't answer. Andrew left his office and walked back over to Jen's.

"Jen I need you to plan a press conference in Cincinnati tomorrow," Andrew told Jen.

"I can do that, and Andrew I'm sorry," said Jen.

"It's fine," said Andrew leaving the League and over to his hotel.

When he finally got back to his hotel. He answered Katie's phone call she was calling him to talk about what happened in Sacramento. He told her that he'll talk to her tomorrow before getting off the phone. He set his phone on the nightstand and tried to sleep.

Wow what a chapter and what an ending. The Pokemon League has located Groudon and have taken precautions to protect him. Katie might be leaving her group because of lingering issues with Zac. Andrew will also have to pick new elite four members come next April because of what happened in Richmond. Andrew is clearly upset at the end of this chapter. And hopefully Dan will be able to react quick enough before Team Darkness harms something of his.

Trainer Update:

Andrew nearly broke down after receiving the news from Jen.

Katie might be leaving her group unless they can work it out.

The Research Team has finally located Groudon.

Andrew is also holding his first ever non forced press conference.
