(Early Saturday Morning)

Andrew just woke up and looked around the Pokemon Center he happened to spent the night at. He could have checked into a hotel, but he deiced not to because he was only going to be here for a short period. He got out of bed and took a quick shower, after the shower he got dressed and went out to get some training in. His eyes set sight of the tree that was shattered in his battle yesterday, he mentally played the battle over in his head he was just thinking over it because he wanted to make sure he made no mistakes and if he did he wants to go over them and fix it. He called out all six of his pokemon. In front of him was Charizard, Lucario, Glaceon, Flygon, Gengar, and Froakie.

"Ok guys let's get some training before I have to go on to a damn radio station," said Andrew.

All six of his pokemon let out a cry and got ready to go.

"Charizard your up first. Stand in the middle of the arena the rest of you wait behind me," instructed Andrew.

The other five walked till they were behind him. Charizard stood in the middle of the arena just across from Andrew. Andrew picked up to sticks he collected.

"Charizard this will be quite simple all we are doing is working on accuracy. The more accurate we are the better we are. The goal is to hit the stick with a flamethrower. Our goal is to burn the stick. Keep your eye on the stick you will not use your attack till I toss it into the air," said Andrew.

Charizard sent a flamethrower into the air to signify he was ready. Andrew put his arms behind his back to let Charizard know he was too. After Andrew knew Charizard was ready he tossed the stick into the air. Charizard sent a flamethrower at the stick. It was easy for Charizard to hit the stick. The stick never got to hit the ground it was in ashes.

"Great job, let step it up know. Charizard I want you to predict the sticks movement. I'll have Gengar here move the stick around with psychic," said Andrew.

Charizard let out a roar to let Andrew know he was ready. Andrew signaled for Gengar to come here. Gengar floated next to him and gripped the stick with psychic. Charizard zoned onto the stick and watched it move crazily. Charizard sent a flamethrower, but missed the stick. Andrew looked at Gengar and he moved the stick over to Andrew. Andrew grabbed it and looked over it. Charizard missed the target, Andrew walked over to him and showed Charizard.

"All I want you too do is concentrate. I know it's hard to predict movement, but when you know where its going to be just aim a little before it. You'll nail it," Andrew said in a relaxed tone.

The reason he said that way was he didn't want to put any added pressure onto Charizard. Andrew extended the stick in front of Gengar so he could grip it. Gengar started to move it again. Charizard relaxed then sent a stream of fire nailing the stick a burning it to a crisp. Seeing that brought a smile to Andrew's face he had been working with Charizard. With Andrew he always likes to improve, others may consider him the best, but his thought process is that he needs to keep working with his pokemon to keep getting better and that was he does day in and day out.

"Ok Charizard go over to the rest of them and relax. Glaceon it's your turn," said Andrew looking at his pokemon.

Charizard flew over to the rest and Glaceon ran out in front of Andrew.

"Glaceon we are going to do the exact same thing. I want you to freeze the stick with an ice beam. The goal is to hit both sticks on the first try, if we don't it's ok we'll try again," said Andrew.

Andrew picked up a stick and tossed into the air. Glaceon watched it for a few moments before sending an ice beam at it. The stick completely froze and shattered once it hit the ground.

"These seems way to easy so I want all of you to come here," called Andrew to his pokemon.

The four behind him moved over and joined Glaceon in the arena. Gengar floated from next to Andrew to the rest of the pokemon. Andrew looked over all six of his pokemon and thought what he could do next. He looked each of his pokemon and then he knew what he wanted to do. He set his sight on Lucario. He then asked Lucario to remain in the center with Glaceon, Froakie, and Gengar. He returned his Flygon and his Charizard.

"Lucario this training excurse is center around you. Glaceon, Froakie, and Gengar are going to send an attack your way. Lucario, you are to either counter the attack with one of your own, or dodge the attack all together," said Andrew.

Glaceon, Gengar, and Froakie ran in front of Andrew while Lucario stayed where he was. Andrew kneeled down in front of the three pokemon an whispered to them. He didn't want Lucario to know what order they were going to attack in.

"Glaceon you'll go first with a shadow ball, Gengar your next, and last but not least Froakie you'll go at him with a water pulse," whispered Andrew.

The three pokemon took their spots from left to right it was Glaceon, Froakie and Gengar at the end. Lucario took a battle stance which meant he was ready. For the first round Lucario's eyes were open so he can see who is attacking him. Lucario tossed a look at Andrew let him know he was ready. Glaceon fired his attack first. Shortly after he did Gengar fired his and not to be out done Froakie fried his. Lucario watched as all three attacks came. He first dodged Glaceon shadow ball by jumping over it. He used thunderpunch to shatter Gengar's shadow ball and he then used his other paw that he wasn't using for thunderpunch to hit the water pulse with a aura sphere.

"It's time to turn this up a notch. Lucario close your eyes this time around you'll only be able to use your aura to predict movements," said Andrew.

Lucario closed his eyes this time. Andrew changed the order of attacks. This time around Gengar went first, he was followed by Glaceon and Froakie last again. Gengar made a shadow ball and fried it at Lucario. Lucario acted quickly as Glaceon was getting ready to send off his shadow ball. He sent a aura sphere at Gengar's attack and shattered the shadow ball. Lucario then moved to break the shadow ball of Glaceon's with a bone rush cutting in half. Lucario than spun that bone to counter the water pulse. The water went around him but never hit him.

"Ok Lucario the last one. This time the three pokemon in front of me will not be stationary, they will be moving around you. Don't worry Lucario your going to get some help to. I'm going to mega evolve you to give you a bonus," said Andrew.

Andrew then kneelt down in front of Glaceon, Gengar, and Froakie. He instructed them on how they should go. Glaceon will use dig and then attack him from behind. Gengar will attack him from the left and Froakie will attack from the right. This time around Froakie will attack first followed by Gengar then Glaceon. Andrew rolled up his sleeve and pressed his mega ring. Lucario was encased in a sphere of his own aura. Lucario let out a growl and he then appeared different. Lucario's cream colored fur has become longer. He has also devopled extra spikes on his paws. Lucario's appendages grew longer and two had red spots on their tips. He also had spikes on his shoulders. His aura heignthing increased. He know had black lines on his blue fur.

Glaceon dug underground Froakie and Gengar moved around Lucario followed them as best as he could he waited to see who was going first. He then countered accordingly. With the water pulse sent by Froakie he used a thunderpunch. He broke the other two shadow balls by tossing a bone rush at each.

"Did you see that Lucario?" whispered Warren to his Lucario.

Warren had been watching for a little while now and was taking in what he saw. He saw Andrew's Lucario counter everything Andrew threw at him. But what shocked him was Andrew was happy to see that he wanted Lucario to do that.

"Lucario we can do that too. Maybe not yet, but soon," whispered Warren.

"I know we can," said Lucario back in his langue.

David joined him a moment later.

"Warren you can't just sit here and watch go up and talk to him," said David.

"I know David," said Warren.

By time all them looked up Andrew's Lucario was standing in front of them. Andrew was just walking over after returning his other three pokemon. Warren's Lucario got ready to battle Andrew's Lucario.

"Lucario back here," said Andrew.

Andrew's Lucario turned his head and walked back over to Andrew. Andrew's Lucario walked back over to him. Andrew then pressed his mega ring to return Lucario to his normal form. Warren's Lucario stood down and waited for Warren to say something.

"You two do know you can come over here and talk to him," shouted Andrew to Warren and David.

Warren and David walked over to him. They spent a moment looking at each before someone said something.

"I'll bite who are you two?" asked Andrew.

"My name is Warren and this is my friend David," replied Warren.

"You two trainers?" asked Andrew.

"I am. David is not," replied Warren.

"A little older than most I can presume," commented Andrew.

"I started a little later than most," said Warren.

"I have nothing against that. Trainer's come in all ages," said Andrew.

"It's really nice to meet you. I'm sorry if I interrupted anything," apologized Warren.

"It's not a problem. It happens more than you would think," joked Andrew.

"I just didn't know how to approach you, replied Warren.

"What can I do for you two?" asked Andrew.

"I was just hoping for some advice," replied Warren.

"I have to admit someone your age would never come to me. People think they are older so they know more. There are very few people around your age that would come up to me," said Andrew.

"I know I see it as well," replied Warren.

"What type of advice are you looking for?" asked Andrew.

"Just any. I watched as you embarrassed my rival Rainer with basically one pokemon," replied Warren.

"That douche bag of a trainer is your rival. That guy has no skill in battle. All he can do use brute force, that won't win battles, he thinks money can win him battles he got a cold dose of reality against me," said Andrew.

"I know he did. Even after your battle with him nothing will change," replied Warren.

"It's hard to ask someone to change from what he only knows," said Andrew.

"Once a douche always a douche," said David.

"I take you don't like him," commented Andrew.

"Him and I have a dark history," replied David.

"He seems to have a dark past. That unfortunately will follow him as long as he lives," commented Andrew.

"Andrew can I ask you a question?" asked Warren.

"Go ahead," replied Andrew.

"Why do you battle?" asked Warren.

"I have been around pokemon all my life I grew up with them. It became apparent early on that I wanted to do something with Pokemon and other wanting to be a researcher the next thing was a trainer. I didn't even expect myself to be here, but here I am," replied Andrew.

"What is the best piece of advice you would give to a trainer like me?" asked Warren.

"Never give up or give in. Set your goals high, and always think about your pokemon first. Your pokemon should be your first concern reassure them when they lose or praise them when they win. It shows your pokemon you care about them even when they lose," replied Andrew.

"Thank you for that," said Warren.

"One more thing, then I got to go I have an interview with a local radio station. Your pokemon look to you in times of need they expect that when your in need as well. That is what keeps your pokemon going. They are happy when you are happy," said Andrew returning his Lucario and walking off.

Warren looks at David and then at Lucario before walking away.

"You know something Warren I never thought of pokemon like he does maybe that is why I lost to Rainer. I lost focus on my pokemon's needs and was shellfish to them," said David.

"He makes a good point. These six pokeballs on my belt are my concern," stated Warren.

Andrew walked into the Pokemon Center to get his pokemon checked before heading to the radio station. Just before he left Katie woke up and walked down to see him.

"Good morning," said Katie.

"Same to you," replied Andrew.

"Where are you off to?" asked Katie.

"The cities' radio station I have interview with local DJ," replied Andrew.

"Mind if I tag along with you?" asked Katie.

"Sure just go get dress and be ready when I leave," replied Andrew.

Katie ran back up and quickly got dressed and ran back downstairs just as Andrew was clipping his pokeballs back to his belt. Before they left she had to run back up because she forgot her glasses. Andrew a few minutes as she got them before the two of them left.

"Do you know what he is going to ask you?" asked Katie.

"I wish I did, but I don't," replied Andrew.

"Man I shouldn't have left without grabbing one of those muffins the Nurse made yesterday," said Katie.

"If your hungry we can stop before we get there I have at least another 20 minutes before I go on," said Andrew.

"We don't need to I'll eat when I get back to the Pokemon Center," replied Katie.

"Andrew you still seem a little on edge," Katie said with some concern.

"I have not heard back from Mika or Dan yet I fear for them," replied Andrew.

"Andrew they will be ok. Dan and Mika from what I heard are very strong trainers they can handle themselves," reassured Katie.

"You know something I'm glad I have someone like you in my life. It means a lot to me that I can talk to you when I'm in need," said Andrew.

"Andrew, I look to you when I need advice and you give me what I need to hear," replied Katie.

The two of them walk into the coffee shop and walk up to the counter. Katie ordered a blueberry muffin and Andrew looked over the food before settling for a buttermilk spice muffin. They both took a seat to eat.

"Have you four deiced when you are going to battle the gym?" asked Andrew.

"Yeah, sometime today. I am anyway. I want to do it before the Contest Monday," replied Katie.

"If you want you and I can go after my interview if you want," said Andrew.

"I wouldn't mind doing that," replied Katie.

They both finished eating and left the coffee shop. They walked over to the radio station. Katie took a seat in the front so she can hear what Andrew is going to say. Andrew meet up with the DJ his name was Jayson. Jayson showed him to the room and they both got mic'd up before taking a seat.

(The Radio Interview)

"Good Morning listeners this is JPOKE in the morning and I'm your fearless DJ Jayson. Today I'm joined by the region's best trainer Andrew Hanson. He is here to answer my tough questions. He'll even answer some of yours so call in after you the beep," said Jayson.

"It's great to be here," commented Andrew.

"Andrew, How bad is the damage to your family's lab and is the league going to pay to rebuild?" asked Jayson.

"From what I know the lab was burned down and yes the League will help rebuild," replied Andrew.

"Isn't that a conflict of interest. If the commissioner said no to you you'll make her life miserable," said Jayson.

"Your turning my words around. The lab is a stable in California it is responsible for most of the starting pokemon trainers receive. We have already talked to Poke Tech. that is who represents my brother-in-laws studies on pokemon," replied Andrew.

"We have heard in the past from you that when you need a tech. device you turn to Poke Tech. What about the Seraph Co. that is a company you should know more about being from California in all?" asked Jayson.

"If we think about it Poke. Tech. is the company who gives us our pokedex. They give us most of our pokeballs they make my life easier. With Seraph Co. you can't trust them. They have a checkered past and I believe they are also smuggling pokemon. Some of these pokemon they smuggle end up with Team Darkness. When I'm in California I plan to investigate this claim and if it proves true we can stop them from doing so and cutting off a way Team Darkness gets pokemon," replied Andrew.

"How bad is our region in jeopardy knowing that Team Darkness has the orbs?" asked Jayson.

"The problem people believe is that Team Darkness is the threat. It's not them in a sense. Yeah they can cause trouble, but the real threat is what the orbs do. They awaken Groudon and Kyorge and then they can absorb the orbs to revert to a past form only known as Origin Form. This form is the biggest threat to our region. Team Darkness thinks the orbs control them they don't and if they manage to do awaken them they'll be sorry doing that," replied Andrew.

"Why did you say what you said to Rainer the man you were battling yesterday?" asked Jayson.

"He believes money makes him the best all I did was prove that it doesn't. He used money to buy him what he thinks is the best. Like I said the better pokemon is the well trained pokemon. All he is, is a bully that believes everything should be his I hope he enjoyed the dose of reality I gave him because if he plans to get into the Champion's Cup and make it far he need to rethink his battling," replied Andrew.

These next few questions are from the callers. A producer walked in and handed Jayson a paper with five questions that the people all wanted to know.

"What is your biggest annoyance?" asked Jayson.

"If I have to think of one it would be people mistreating their pokemon. They have to remember pokemon only work if they are happy if not they will take their anger out on you. That is why most see pokemon as scary. They're not I have been around them since I could walk I have had problems with some of my pokemon, but in the end it works itself out," replied Andrew.

"What keeps you motivated as a Champion?" asked Jayson.

"It's a common misconception that as a Champion everything comes easy. It doesn't I still go out and work day in and day out with my pokemon. I train them just like I normally would no matter if I was Champion or just another trainer," replied Andrew.

"Who is the girl we seen you with at the park yesterday and is it true that she is your girlfriend?" asked Jayson.

"It seems now everyone asks me who she is and I'll at least give you her first name. That would be Katie and her and I are not boyfriend, girlfriend or at least not at the moment and if we were I keep that type of info private there are some aspects of my life I do keep private. She is the best thing that has happened to me since becoming Champion. She is there when I need advice. Yes I person like does need some advice." replied Andrew.

"What type of advice do you give a first time battler that you just beat?" asked Jayson.

"The most simple one I would give is that you gain more from losing a battle then winning. We all like to win, but winning isn't everything. A lose only tells you that you need to get stronger and train harder," replied Andrew.

"OK this is the last question. How long do you see yourself being Champion?" asked Jayson.

"I ask myself that everyday. My goal is to stay till I get beaten if it's 5 years let it be if it's longer than it's longer. I'm happy doing the job so many think they can do better, but till the sit down in my spot they will then realize they don't want it," replied Andrew.

"Well thank you for joining me today Andrew and I hope everything works," said Jayson.

"Thank you for having me," replied Andrew taking the headset off and setting it down.

After taking the headset off he shook Jayson's hand and left. He meet up with Katie who hear everything he said. She was smiling and blushing some from the comments Andrew made about her.

"Ready to go?" asked Andrew.

"Yeah I am," answered Katie.

The two of them leave the radio station and walk over to the Pokemon Center. Katie needed to ask if Emma, Brady, and Zac were going to battle the gym.

(After the Interview)

Now back at the Pokemon Center. She walked upstairs and saw Emma, Zac, and Brady just getting up.

"Are we going to battle the gym?" asked Katie.

"Probably not today I just wanted to get some last minute training before we do. If you want to go ahead I'm not going to stop you," replied Emma.

"Ok I will battle him," said Katie.

"Good luck Katie," replied Zac.

She walks back downstairs and leaves with Andrew. They made their way to the gym. Once inside Katie was meet with a robot.

"Good Afternoon madam Wyatt my creator will be ready in one minute so if you would please follow me to the arena," said the robot.

Andrew followed the path up to the bleachers. He took a seat in the front row and Katie appeared in the center of the arena the robot took it's spot and then Wyatt walked out.

"If it isn't the girl Andrew was with yesterday. I am Wyatt the 8th gym leader and most electrifying. I am also the most technology sound gym leader. If you want to earn the bolt badge you have to beat me in a four on four pokemon battle," said Wyatt.

"Nice to meet you Wyatt. I am Katie and I'm ready to beat you," said Katie.

"I would hope so," replied Wyatt with a laugh.

Wyatt walked to his spot and Katie to hers. They both looked ready as the robot at the ref spot got ready to call the match.

(Gym Battle: Katie vs. Wyatt)

"This will be a four on four battle between my creator Wyatt versus the challenger Katie. The challenger has the right to substitute any time in the battle. The battle will be over when one trainer's pokemon cannot continue," said the robot.

"I'll call out my pokemon first. So go Pikachu," said Wyatt.

"Go Absol," said Katie.

"Pikachu use iron tail,"

"Absol dodge it and then use dark pulse,"

Wyatt's Pikachu's tail became a sliver color as he ran at Absol. Absol used his own lighting speed to dodge the attack. Absol then sent a ray of purple at Pikachu, Pikachu managed to avoid the first few but he was hit and sent the mouse pokemon into the air.

"Absol now use razor wind,"

Absol tossed his head to whip up some wind. After a few seconds of waiting Absol sent the blades of wind at Pikachu just before he hit the ground. Pikachu was hit with the blades and was cut by them. Pikachu fell to the ground after being cut. Pikachu couldn't continue an he fainted.

"Pikachu is unable to battle, Absol wins," said the robot.

"Nooooo, not Pikachu. Return and go Luxio," said Wyatt.

"I think I'll stick with Absol," said Katie.

"Luxio use quick spark,"

"Absol use night slash,"

Absol's scythe on his head turned black as he ran at Luxio/ Luxio became coated in electricity as he ran at Absol. Both pokemon hit each other and Luxio quickly overpowered Absol and pushed him back till Absol was in front of Katie.

"Return Absol and Go Goomy," said Katie.

"Why is she going to Goomy?" asked Andrew to himself.

"Luxio use thunderbolt,"

"Goomy use protect,"

A green shield covered Goomy protecting him from any and all attacks Luxio could do this turn. Even though Goomy was protected Luxio still charged up and sent a bolt of thunder at the protected Goomy. After taking the bolt Goomy dropped the shield protecting him.

"Do it again Luxio,"

"Use dragonbreath Goomy,"

Luxio charged up and sent a bolt of thunder at Goomy. Goomy was struck by the bolt and was shocked. Goomy was then paralyzed and was unable to attack.

"Katie is in a lot of trouble if she doesn't do something fast," said Andrew.

"Goomy use rain dance,"

Goomy sent water into the sky and it became cloudy. It then started to rain the field then turned into mud making it harder for Luxio to move. Goomy was also cured from the paralysis.

"I get what she is thinking now," thought Andrew.

"Goomy use dragonbreath,"

"Luxio dodge it,"

Luxio's paws got stuck in the mud and mad it harder for him to move. Goomy sent green flames at the stuck Luxio and Luxio could do nothing but take the hit. Even with the attack finding it mark Luxio didn't seem that fazed by it.

"Luxio thunderbolt one last time,"

"Goomy use protect,"

Luxio sent a bolt of thunder that struck Goomy before he could anything. Goomy was getting hurt as the Luxio kept up the attack. It looked like Goomy was being overpowered till he started to glow white.

"Goomy is evolving," commented Andrew.

Goomy got taller and got a shell onto his body. He looked like a snail now. It now has under-developed arms. He was no longer Goomy, he was now Sliggoo. Now evolved Sliggoo picked up a few new moves including sludge bomb and dragon pulse. He was still being shocked but shook that off and unleashed a purple sludgy bomb at Luxio. It nailed the stuck Luxio and he was poisoned.

"Sliggoo use dragonbreath to end this,"

"Luxio we have to do something you have to get unstuck," said Wyatt looking around the battlefield nervously.

Sliggoo unleashed a barrage of green flames at Luxio he had no where to hide and no where to run which forced him to take the hit. After taking the attack Luxio fell into the mud.

"Luxio is unable to battle, Sliggoo wins," said the robot.

"Damn well it looks like I'm down to my last two pokemon. Let's see how you fair against this one. Return Luxio and go Flaaffy," said Wyatt.

"I'll stick with Sliggoo," said Katie.

"Hmm since it's still raining Sliggoo still has the advantage. I must be very careful knowing that the field is muddy. But if Katie has to change pokemon her's would be slowed by the mud as well," said Wyatt.

"Sliggoo use dragonbreath,"

"Flaaffy use cotton guard,"

Flaaffy protected himself with cotton around his body. It may have not taken all the damage but most of it. Sliggoo sent a barrage of green flames at the cotton covered Flaaffy. Flaaffy took little damage and kept on fighting.

"Flaaffy it's our turn now use thunderpunch,"

"Sliggoo use sludge bomb,"

Flaaffy's small right hand became coated in electricity as he moved towards Sliggoo. Flaaffy could not run because of the mud so he walked making him an easy target for Sliggoo poisonous bomb that was now coming at him.

"I have to admit Katie is really using that field to her advantage. I'll be the first to admit Wyatt is not the hardest gym, but his pokemon are still extremely strong if he has control of the field. He just seems weak if he cannot control the field," commented Andrew.

The sludgy mess of bomb nailed Flaaffy who was stopped dead in his tracks. Flaaffy met the same fate as Luxio and fell face first into the mud. Flaaffy was unable to get back to his feet.

"Well Katie I'll admit the field of mud that was caused by the rain has really caused me some trouble, but with my last pokemon my trouble is over and so is Sliggoo. Return Flaaffy and go Electabuzz," said Wyatt.

"We'll see about that Wyatt," replied Katie with some determination.

"Electabuzz use thunder," said Wyatt pointing in the air.

"Sliggoo use protect,"

Sliggoo brought up a shield that would protect him from the striking thunder that would come down from the clouds that covered the arena.

"Electabuzz use thunderbolt,"

"Sliggoo use sludge bomb,"

Electabuzz sent a bolt of thunder at Sliggoo was also send a sludgy bomb at him. The bolt nailed Sliggoo for a moment before hitting the sludge bomb coming at him causing it to exploded. Electabuzz kept up the thunder and again found his mark on Sliggoo. Sliggoo fell to the ground after getting hit by the thunderbolt.

"Sliggoo is unable to battle, Electabuzz wins," said the robot ref.

"Ok great job return Sliggoo and go Espeon," said Katie tossing Espeon's pokeball.

Before any attacks could happen the rain had finally stopped and the light from the sun coming from the open roof could be seen. A problem still consist and that would be the mud covering the arena from the rain.

"Electabuzz use thunderpunch,"

"Espeon stop him with psychic,"

Electabuzz managed to find away to get through the mud and was able to try and launch an attack on. Espeon's eyes turned blue and stopped Electabuzz cold in his tracks. Espeon then flicked her head and sent Electabuzz into a rock they lay just behind Wyatt. Electabuzz got off the rock and ran back in front of Wyatt.

"Espeon use psybeam,"

Espeon sent a rays of peculiar colors at Electabuzz. Wyatt watched his best pokemon was hit with these rays and it caused him to slip and fall into the mud on his back. After falling on his back Electabuzz slowly got back to his feet. Electabuzz looked confused and lost.

"Espeon use shadow ball,"

Espeon made a shadowy ball near her mouth, after a few moments she sent it at Electabuzz. The shadow ball nails Electabuzz in the gut and once again he falls on his back. This was differnet though Electabuzz didn't get back up. He had fainted.

"Electabuzz is unable to battle, Espeon wins. Katie is the winner," said the ref robot.

"Well I'll be Katie congratulations you are now at halfway mark. You have 8 more badges to collect but these last will not be easy," said Wyatt.

Wyatt returned his Electabuzz and walked over to Katie. He gave her, her bolt badge. Katie looked at it for a minute and then put it in her case with her other 7 badges. The robot that showed her in showed her back out into the entrance where she saw Andrew waiting.

"I won my 8th badge," said Katie.

"Congrats you're half way to your goal of competing in the Champion's Cup," congratulated Andrew.

"I should go get my pokemon healed and show my badge to them," said Katie.

"I also see Goomy evolved into Sliggoo," said Andrew.

The two of them left the gym and walked over to the Pokemon Center.

Before Andrew, and Katie walked inside Dan, Mika, and Cat stopped them. Andrew was shocked to see them. Katie went inside while Andrew stayed out and talked to them. He hasn't heard from Mika since sending her to meet with Dan. Here they are standing in front of him and Dan looks a little shaken up.

"Andrew something happened in my hometown," said Dan.

Well that's the end of this chapter. Let me explain why I put this out. Most of this was in the last chapter, but before I put that one out I read over it and found out it was way too long. So I broke it down into two chapters. I really thought about waiting to post this chapter, but I didn't so enjoy. I know I made Wyatt easy and the reason behind that is I based him on Wattson in Omega Ruby. Which if you haven't played yet he was one of the easiest gym leaders. I also realize this chapter is center around Andrew from the start till the middle.

Trainer Update:

Katie got her 8th badge.

Andrew had a rather interesting interview with Jayson.

Something happened to Dan. In the next chapter we'll all find out what.

Katie's Goomy evolved into Sliggoo.
