A heavy almost childish wail burst into the art room. Yuubi sprang up in surprise; she had been lost for hours within the silence of her isolation and her canvas gently hitting the brush. The wail refused to cease and filled the room with a high pitched white noise. She ran out to the hallway to track down the source of the wailing. "Ah!," she was on the floor, toppled on top of a teary eyed blonde. "I'm so sorry! I was running to find the source of this noi - " she paused; she found the source of the crying. "Honey senpai," she asked softly, helping him up from the floor, his eyes still wet. There was this strange urge to embrace him tightly and reassure him that he was okay even though she had no knowledge of his reasons for crying. "Would you like to… talk about it?"

He sniffled and gasped as he caught his breath and sanity, "I'm scared"

"Of what?" Alarmed, she stood a little bit taller, protective of him.

"…"

"Honey senpai… tell me" she whined.

He seemed reluctant but decided to spit it out. "… Don't tell anybody. Especially not Takashi."

"What?... What is it?"

"You swear?"

"Ye- Yeah, I promise"

"I have… a cavity."

She couldn't. She couldn't take him seriously. The tension in her body eased up immediately as she broke out into a fit of laughter. He was adorable and so innocent, almost beyond belief. She wrapped her arms around him, and then broke into a serious tone. "May I look at it," she asked, leaning close to his face. He flinched, but seemed to have some sort of trust in her as he widened his jaw, exposing his secret to her. Peering inside revealed the source of his pain, a small hole on his back tooth. She smiled and thought for a moment. "Well, honestly, it's not that bad… but you need to get it filled right away. If you wait any longer, it'll get worse," she teased with her hands on her hips.

"I don't want to! I don't want to!" His shook his head, as his vision blurred with tears. She sighed, rich kids. These are their problems?

"Trust me senpai! You'll feel better!"

"I shouldn't have told you. I thought I could trust you," he screamed.

"Aha… Hey – I'm just trying to help." Without any hesitation, he fled down the hallway. She let out a lauged, sighed and ran after him. "Hey where you going?!" She hadn't realized his sensitivity toward some things, how fragile he really was. A piercing scream of pain ahead of her caused her to slow her steps. "Mori senpai!" He had caught Honey by the shoulders and stuck a chocolate bar into his mouth, causing him to cry, not from the pain but more from the fear of his cavity being discovered. His enormous hand wrapped against Honey's chin and pinched it open, somewhat tenderly and aggressively.

"Sto-stop," mumbled Honey, tears streaming down his cheek. Mori let go. For a student without any expression, his expression at that moment was grave and worrisome with a pinch of anger. He sighed whole heartedly as his arms dropped to his sides.

Yuubi glanced over at the two with confusion and reassurance, "If he goes to the dentist, he'll be –"

Honey screamed, "I'm not! I'm not going."

"Honey senpai…"

"You must," Mori said sternly, grabbing Honey by the arm. "I already told the host club not to carry any sweets since you seemed to struggle eating yesterday."

"Takashi! If you did! I hate you! More than the late time!"

Those cold words rang through Mori's heart. He stood there frozen and affected for a second then coolly responded, "I don't care if you hate me."

"Guys…" Yuubi bit her lip from chuckling at this ridiculousness. "It's just a cavity right? If you want to eat sweets again, senpai, then you ought to go! Actually let's go call for an appointment now!" The two paused, one out of fear and one taken aback. "Come on!"

Mori kept his grasp firmly on Honey, who struggled to escape, and called for his driver on his cell phone. Within twenty minutes, Honey was strapped down into the dental chair, crying as the dentist waited for him to calm down.

"Sorry," Mori bowed his head. The two were waiting in the office for Honey to finish.

"Why," she laughed. It occurred to her how much Honey had meant to him. How at ease he would feel if Honey was relieved from his pain. She placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, sending him a shiver down his spine. "He's our friend, right? We should all watch over him and take responsibility for him, not just you."

A simple logic it was, but to him it contained a weight of a thousand thank yous. An air of silence and comfortable understanding filled the room. He turned to face her and paused, examining her delicate profile before speaking. "Aren't you busy?"

She hesitated, let out a nervous laugh and fibbed, "Nah! I'm okay! I'm actually almost done." His narrowed as they seemed to pierce right through the veil of her lies. "Ah well… I just was bored without you guys," she laughed. "I haven't been to the host club for a while."

He nodded his head slightly and looked ahead, starting an unusually comfortable silence between the two as she sighed and leaned back on the plush seat of the waiting room. She closed her hollow eyes. Finally, rest. Mori eyes quietly stole a glance at the girl beside him, noticing she feel quickly to sleep. The dark circles under her eyes were emphasized in contrast her oddly pale flesh. The frail body curled up on the chair, snoring rather loudly, bringing a melancholic smile as he watched her. He had suddenly found a third person he desired to protect.
