(Saturday Afternoon)
After hearing his name being called turned around to see Dan, Mika, and Cat. He could tell they were tired. he figured they had a long night. Katie walked back out a moment later after showing her friends her new badge. She would see Andrew standing with the others.
"Andrew, Team Darkness attacked my house. They set my garage on fire," said Dan.
"I'm sorry to hear that. I can only assume they are trying to rattle us," Andrew assumed.
"Why would you say that?" asked Dan.
"Well it was your house and my family's lab," replied Andrew.
"Mika said something about that I wasn't sure if heard her right though. They really did attack your family's lab," Dan said in shock.
"Dan, I do feel responsible for the attack to your family. If I didn't involve you in Richmond they may not have attacked you," said Andrew.
"I wasn't going to let you deal with both mega pokemon. They would've overwhelmed you. From what Mika said they did it to the mega guru too," replied Dan.
"You two will need to put the incidents that happened behind you. As much as you two might want to get revenge I wouldn't recommend it. Dan, Cat needs you now more than ever to help her get out of her slump. Andrew this region needs you more than ever I'll be able to help you two when you need it. For now stopping Team Darkness should be your priority Andrew," said Mika looking up into the sky.
"Thanks for those words Mika. I understand what you mean and my focus is this region, but I still need to go home and see the damage for myself," said Andrew.
"Andrew I'll come with you to help out," said Mika.
"Why?" asked Andrew.
"If you remember I told you I got my starter pokemon from that lab some years ago. I hold that place very close to my heart I won't forget what your family did for me. They gave a pokemon to me even after I said what I said about your family," replied Mika.
"Thank you Mika for that," said Andrew.
"What about us?" asked Dan.
"I believe Cat has some ribbons to earn if she wants to go to the Grand Festival. She'll need you help Dan so focus on that. If I need your help I'll let you know. There might be something later on for you to help with," said Andrew.
"What would that be?" asked Dan.
"If I'm right Team Darkness had a small operating base in Kansas City, Kansas. When I'm ready to head there I could use your help checking that out if it's true. Also if I'm right that is the next Contest Location too after this one," replied Andrew.
"Yeah I'll help you out. I want to help catch Kerry for what he did," Dan said angrily making a fist with his left hand thinking of his family and their house.
"With that said I have something to attend to I'll catch up with you all later," said Andrew leaving.
Katie watched as Andrew walked off with his hands in his jacket pocket. She then saw Daniel and Cat walk into the Pokemon Center before she walked after Andrew. She was concerned that something is wrong with Andrew. Listening to him talk with the others she felt something was off about him. He walked over to the local Pokemon Lab just across from the gym. He didn't go into the building, but just looked at it. His body was here in Cincinnati, but his mind was in California.
"Andrew you can talk to me if something is wrong," said Katie.
Andrew didn't respond he just sat there and looked at the lab. Andrew felt responsible for what happened. The only thing he keeps thinking about is the words everyone has said to him. He looked at the lab one more time and stood up. He put a smile on his face and looked at Katie.
"Come on let's go," said Andrew.
"Where are we going?" Katie asked in response.
"Just follow me you'll like it," replied Andrew.
They walked over to the park and then, Andrew called out Flygon. He climbed on Flygon and then helped Katie on. Flygon then kicked up into the air.
"Hold on tight were going now," said Andrew.
Flygon took off north. He flew from Cincinnati to a small city close to one of the great lakes. The town was small it was the city of Erie and most lived near the lake to enjoy it in all it's beauty.
(In Erie)
"Why are we here?" asked Katie.
"That's an interesting question Katie. I always like going to this town. The first time I saw this town was with Hailey when she had a Contest on Lake Erie. It was funny it was the only Contest I took part in," replied Andrew.
"Why did you take part in a Contest?" asked Katie.
"I was convinced by Hailey to participate. I have to admit it was a lot of fun. I didn't win, Hailey did. It was a great experience though I learned a lot from it and I also learned what a Coordinator deals with day in and day out. I have a lot respect for what they do," replied Andrew.
"You took me all the way out here to tell me that," said Katie.
"No, I always liked this place and I thought you might want to tag along to see what I liked about the lake," replied Andrew.
Andrew and Katie walked over to the dock there waiting was a Ferry. Andrew bought two tickets and they boarded the Ferry. After the Ferry was full it left the dock. The two of them walked out and looked over the rail and they see Goldeen, and Seaking jumping in and out of the water. The look on Katie's face brought a smile to Andrew's he was happy to see her enjoying what, him and Hailey enjoyed the night before the Contest.
"You haven't seen anything yet just wait till it's night and the Lanturn and Chinchou start lighting the water up," said Andrew.
"It get's cooler then this," replied Katie.
"Yeah, This usually happens two and three time the whole fall season at least the Lanturn part," said Andrew.
"What do you mean it only happens certain times?" asked Katie.
"The Lanturn and Chinchou move from this lake which is their home in the summer and fall. They move into the Atlantic for the winter," replied Andrew.
"How did you know it was happening today?" asked Katie.
"The Goldeen and Seaking part I knew always happens, but the Lanturn I didn't know I guess we were just lucky today," replied Andrew.
Katie smiled as the Ferry kept moving around the lake. They continued to watch the Goldeen jump out and back in. The Ferry got back to Erie just before nightfall. Andrew and Katie walked over to a grassy hill and took a seat to watch the Lanturn show. Before the show could start Andrew received a phone call from Jen. He looked at it and thought best to take the phone call.
"Who is it Andrew?" asked Katie.
"It's Jen I bet it's important," replied Andrew.
Andrew stood up and walked off to answer the phone.
(Phone Call)
"Hello Jen What can I do for you?" asked Andrew.
"Andrew we have some trouble," replied Jen.
"What do you mean?" asked Andrew.
"After doing some digging we found a contract between Goodsworth and Seraph Co. He hide it in an old file. It shows that Goodsworth is buying pokemon from them to keep his Team Darkness with the best pokemon," replied Jen.
"Here's what I want you to do. I want you to fax that paper to my house in Sacramento. I will call my mom and let her know not to touch it or even look over it. Next I want you to send Tony and Morgan to California. They are too wait till I get there to make a move. If we can stop this agreement it might slow down Team Darkness. Jen I also want you to send any and all info on Seraph Co. to me immediately," said Andrew.
"I can do that," said Jen.
"Good," replied Andrew.
"What are you going to do?" asked Jen.
"Well Jen I'm going to go have a friendly chat with their CEO. The great thing about it is I hold all the cards. With all the proof we have we can shut them down," replied Andrew.
"Ok. Andrew just don't do anything reckless," said Jen.
"Jen I never do," said Andrew.
"I'll talk to you later," said Jen hanging up.
Once Andrew go off the phone with Jen he called his house. He hopeful that someone will answer and to his surprise it was his niece that answered the phone.
"Hello, Andrew," said Katlin.
"Hey Katlin is my mom around?" asked Andrew.
"No they are at the lab they have begun the long process of cleaning up," replied Katlin.
"I see. When did you return home?" asked Andrew.
"I did when I heard what happened," replied Katlin.
"Anyway I need you to tell them not to touch the paper that was just faxed. That is some of my info I need. Better yet just move it into my room and put it on my desk," said Andrew.
"Ok I can do that and I can't wait to see you when you get here," said Katlin.
"Tell everyone I'll see them Monday. Bye," replied Andrew hanging up.
After putting his phone away he walked back over to Katie who was still sitting on the grass enjoying the show.
"What did Jen want?" asked Katie.
"Business as usual," replied Andrew.
"Andrew, I'm glad I went with you to this. It's such a sight. The Lanturn are so beautiful and the best part was spending this time with you," said Katie.
Andrew didn't give a response he just smiled at her and watched the end of it. He really did have fun and it was good to clear his mind. Before he left the park he paid for one last thing and that was to get their picture taken. The two of them stood under the tree Katie wrapped one of her arms around Andrew before the picture was taken the photographer took the picture. After getting the picture from him he gave the picture to Katie to remember this moment. After getting their picture taken they walked back over to the Pokemon Center.
"I better get you back to Cincinnati before Emma gets worried," said Andrew.
"I don't really care. They have been mean to me anyway. They always think I start the fights with Zac, but I don't he picks fights with me," said Katie.
"I understand, he's just a punk kid that has trouble taking in the truth," replied Andrew.
"If I have to we better leave then," sighed Katie still annoyed.
Andrew called out his Flygon and climbed on. He then helped Katie on before leaving the City of Erie.
(Back in Cincinnati)
Emma was outside the Pokemon Center waiting for Katie to get back. Emma was upset with Katie, she left without telling her anything. Once Andrew and Katie did get back Emma was ready to yell.
"Where were you Katie?" asked Emma.
"I'm fine Em don't worry," replied Katie.
"Katie I didn't ask you if you were ok. I asked where the hell were you," stated Emma.
"Andrew and I went over to the city of Erie. He took me on a Ferry ride and we watched the Lanturn," replied Katie.
"Katie you shouldn't be leaving the city without telling me," said Emma.
"You would've told me I couldn't go. I'm my own person let me do what I want," said Katie.
"I have given you a lot of freedom. I'm actually starting to think traveling with you was a bad idea. I was ok with traveling with you before because you didn't do anything you were quiet till you meet him," complained Emma pointing at Andrew.
"Emma he's the nicest guy I have ever meet. He treats me the way I like to be treated. I can't say that about any other guy I knew," replied Katie.
"Tommy was a good guy and so is Zac. Andrew is just plain trouble. Everywhere we go it seems Team Darkness attacks. I don't want you to be involved with them. They attack those that help Andrew. They did to Daniel and he barely helped," said Emma.
Katie didn't give a response she just walked back into the Pokemon Center and ran upstairs. Andrew didn't say a word either he walked into the Pokemon Center and walked upstairs. Once up there he sees Katie sitting on her bed almost in tears.
"I don't get it. Why does Emma say what she does?" asked Katie.
"She's just looking out for you," replied Andrew taking a seat next to her.
"I know she does sometimes to much," said Katie.
"Take it from someone who has an older sister and an older brother they look out for you even when you don't like it. That's just what they do even if you don't like it," said Andrew standing up from the bed.
"Why do they do it though?" asked Katie.
"They do it because they don't want us to make the same mistakes they may have made," replied Andrew.
"I haven't made any mistakes like she has at this age," said Katie.
"A journey like you guys are on can change a person. Emma thinks of you as the same person you left, but you have changed it will take her a while to see that. You just have to bare with it," said Andrew.
Katie stood up took her glasses off wiped her blue eyes and hugged Andrew.
"Andrew thank you for this," said Katie wrapping him tighter in the hug.
"Can you lessen up I still have some bruises on my back," Andrew said wincing in pain.
"Sorry I forgot about that," said Katie letting go of him.
Katie then walked into the bathroom and cleaned her face off. Once out of the bathroom she went downstairs and found Andrew talking to Brady, and Zac. Emma was sitting on the couch. Emma signaled for Katie to come over to talk to her. Katie walked over and took a seat next to her.
"I'm sorry about what I said earlier. I now realized that this journey is changing us and I also realized that you have changed and I have to live with that," apologized Emma.
"Em I'm also sorry. After hearing what Andrew said I realized you did it to protect me. I just want to tell you 're my sister so there will be times I come to you for advice, but I'm old enough to live with the decisions I make," replied Katie.
Katie got up from the couch and walked over to the table where the three guys were sitting. As she was walking over there Andrew's phone rang again. He took it out of his pocket and saw it was Jen again. Knowing it was her he got up from the table and walked outside before answering it.
(Phone Call)
"Hey Jen," said Andrew.
"Andrew, did you invite the German Champion to our region?" asked Jen.
"No, why?" Andrew asked in response.
"According to a report he's in California right now," replied Jen.
"This week just gets better," Andrew said sarcastically.
"How do you want to approach that problem?" asked Jen.
"Contact his League Commissioner and go from there. I will also bring it up to the Champion's League during the meeting," replied Andrew.
"Do you want him detained in California?" asked Jen.
"No, just keep me informed if he does anything then let me know," replied Andrew.
"I can do that. I'll talk to you later Andrew. Bye," said Jen before hanging up the phone.
After getting off the phone he walked back into the Pokemon Center.
(Back Inside the Pokemon Center)
"She sure loves calling you," joked Katie.
"I must be mister popular today," laughed Andrew response.
"What was it about this time?" asked Katie.
"We have a foreign visitor from Germany in California," replied Andrew.
"Isn't that illegal or something," Katie said confused about the whole situation.
"It's against Champion's League protocol to do that. If he does anything here he could be in a serious amount of trouble. My guess is he probably on vacation or something so nothing should come of it," replied Andrew.
The nurse just set food down on the table. Everyone took a seat at the table and started eating. Andrew seemed to be in a better place and tomorrow he really wants to get a battle with Dan in. Since Dan got his mega pokemon Andrew had really wanted to battle him. If it wasn't for Team Darkness he would have in Richmond, but we all know what happened there. His only thought though was that he needs to send Froakie home and get another of his pokemon. He is going to need all six of his pokemon to battle Dan. He didn't know what pokemon he was going to use, but it will be one pokemon Dan has not seen yet from Andrew. As he finished eating it hit him what pokemon he wanted. He walked over to the pokemon transfer device inside the Pokemon Center and called his house, this time around he got his mom.
"Hey mom can you do me a favor and send me Magnezone?" asked Andrew.
"My son you haven't used him in a while. When you need an electric pokemon you usually call for Luxray or Electivire," replied his mom.
"I know, but if you remember Magnezone is my strongest electric pokemon and this trainer I'm battling he is needed," said Andrew.
"Ok I can send him you just have to send me a pokemon," said his mom.
Andrew put Froakie's pokeball inside the machine, but before he pressed sent he looked at the pokeball and told himself that he'll get Froakie back after the battle. He then pressed the send button. Froakie's pokeball disappeared and Magnezone's pokeball appeared he took it out of the machine and clipped it to his belt. Andrew then remembered why he kept Magnezone at home, he has overdone it in past battles. Andrew's Magnezone has some really raw power that can be bad to the pokemon he's battling. The main reason for the raw power is his ability Analytic. The last battle Magnezone shocked everyone around him it didn't matter if it was pokemon or trainer, Andrew had to use Lucario to stop him. That happened almost 1 year ago Andrew feels he can use Magnezone better now.
"Andrew, stay in one piece this time I don't want you to get hurt any worse than you did," said his mom.
"I know mom," Andrew said annoyed with what she was saying.
"You know I say it because I love you and don't like seeing you hurt," replied his mom.
"I know mom I'll see all of you Monday," said Andrew pressing the hang up.
He then walked back over to the table to see everyone was done eating and getting up and walking around. Katie walked upstairs, Emma, Brady and Zac took a seat on the couch to watch some TV. Andrew walked upstairs to see Katie.
"Andrew why did you walk away from the table?" asked Katie.
"I had to get a pokemon before my battle with Dan tomorrow. I may have not used this pokemon in a while, but he can handle it," replied Andrew.
"Why are you battling him again?" Katie asked being curious.
"Since he got his mega pokemon I wanted to battle him. We were suppose to in Richmond, but we all knew what happened there and now we finally get to do it tomorrow," replied Andrew.
"I can't wait to see that battle," said Katie with some enjoyment in her voice.
The other three walked up the stairs and walked into their respective bathroom to get dressed and ready for bed. They got of the bathroom and layed on their bed. Katie and Andrew got dressed as well and went to bed too.
(Sunday Morning)
It was an hour before Andrew's match with Dan. Andrew woke up and took a shower before sitting out behind the Pokemon Center. He was mentally playing the battle out in his head. He did this more than you would think to prepare for battle he also liked some quiet before a match to get into a groove. He sat out there for about 30 minutes before being joined Katie.
"What are you doing?" asked Katie.
"I like some quiet before a big match like this. It allows me to go over my strategy in my head," replied Andrew.
"Well I hate to give you some news, but everyone is already finding their seat at the Cincinnati Dome. I'm surprised how much the word got about this match," said Katie.
"I guess I better go then," said Andrew standing up.
Andrew and Katie left over to the Dome. Once at the Dome Katie wished Andrew good luck and took a seat next to her friends. Cat found her seat next to Mika in the front row. Before the battle would start Andrew walked over to visit Dan one last time.
(In the Dome)
"Dan I'm here to say I hope you're ready. I plan to hold nothing back this is a very serious battle to me but still lets have fun," said Andrew.
"Andrew, I don't care what happens out there I will still gain some experience from this battle with you," said Dan.
"Let's go then," said Andrew leaving.
The ref has the privilege of introducing the participants of this battle. He grabbed a mic and started to explain the rules of the match.
(Andrew vs. Dan)
"This will be a six on six battle with no restrictions, both trainer will be aloud to substitute at any time. After one trainer eliminates 3 pokemon from his trainer we will take a short break. After this break the battle will not stop till it's over and we have a winner. So let me introduce our first participant from Indian Head, Maryland Daniel Nelson," said the ref.
Daniel walked out and walked into the center. He looked at his friend Cat and then back at the ref.
"Now for his opponent. He is our Region's Champion so please welcome Andrew Hanson," introduced the ref.
Andrew walked out and also walked into the middle. Andrew then extend his hand to shake Dan's hand. Dan meet his hand with his own and they shook. They then walked to their spots and the ref signaled for the start.
"I'll call out my pokemon first. So go Gengar," said Andrew.
"I've seen this time and time again Andrew will always begin this way. The last time I battled him I went with Gallade first I don't think I'll begin that way again. Sceptile, time for battle" said Dan.
"You have the first move," said Andrew.
"Fine Sceptile use iron blade combo,"
"I don't think so. Gengar use wil-o-wisp," shouted Andrew wagging his finger.
Gengar moved his hands to create purple flames and sent them in the direction of the sprinting Sceptile. Sceptile stopped cold in his tracks to readjust.
"Gengar now," said Andrew. Gengar knew what this meant and he started to move quickly around the arena not staying in one sot for to long. Andrew typically used this to confuse and get his opponents pokemon confused.
Gengar phased out from where he was floating and moved around the arena rather quickly. If you were to blink you would miss seeing him.
"Sceptile be vigilant we know what he's going to do next,"
Sceptile looked around to find the location of Gengar. Gengar could be anywhere it is hard to tell where this ghost might appear.
"Gengar now use psychic,"
"Sceptile he's to your left,"
By time Sceptile turned it was to late and he was hit the wave of energy that pushed him back. Sceptile quickly shook it off and readied an energy ball to hit Gengar with. He sent it the green ball of energy at him to only be counter by a purple shadowy ball. The two attacks hit one another and exploded creating a cloud of smoke.
"Gengar clear the smoke with psychic,"
Gengar sent a wave of psychic energy that pushed the smoke away and clear the arena.
"Use leaf blade," said Dan.
"You do know my Gengar is faster then Sceptile allow me show that. Gengar dodge it and show him hypnosis,"
Sceptile's leaves on his arm turned green and he ran at Gengar. Gengar phased out from where he was to dodge the leaf blade. he then reappeared above Sceptile. Sceptile looked up just as the hypnotic waves came at him. Those hypnotic waves put Sceptile asleep. Dan has to act quickly to avoid what is coming next.
"Sceptile return. Salamence, time for battle," said Dan.
"Hmm interesting I thought you might have went out to Gallade, but I guess I was wrong. So now it's my turn so return Gengar and go Flygon," replied Andrew.
"Salamence remember our training we can do this," shouted Dan to Salamence.
Salamence let out a growl to tell her trainer she knows and remembers.
"Hopefully all the training Dan did to take dragon attacks can payoff," said Cat watching on.
"Salamence use dragonbreath,"
"Flygon use flamethrower,"
Salamence sent out a barrage of green flames in the direction of Flygon. Flygon unleashed a powerful stream of orange colored flames these two attack hit one another and it looked pretty even. Both pokemon refused to let up. Neither dragon let their attack up. It stayed even for another few minutes before the flamethrower started to push the dragonbreath back at Salamence.
"Salamence brace for the attack," shouted Dan.
Dan was right to say that as the flamethrower pushed itself all the way and hit Salamence. It hit her in face and body it left marks from the attack.
"Salamence use thunder claw combo,"
"You know this didn't work last time. It won't work again. Flygon counter with a dragon tail,"
Salamence charged at Flygon with thunder coursing through her teeth and one of her claws all white. Flygon' waited till Salamence was near him till he threw his now all white tail right into the top of the head of Salamence. This sent her right into the ground unable to land an attack.
"Flygon use dragon pulse,"
Flygon sent a blue pulse at the grounded Salamence.
"Salamence get back into the air then use dragonbreath,"
Salamence kicked off the ground and avoided Flygon's attack. She then sent out the green flames at Flygon. They found their mark and hit Flygon in his belly.
"Flygon push the attack by leading with dragon claw,"
Flygon took off his all white claws leading the way. He was using his dragon claw to cut through the attack all the way at Salamence. He slashed Salamence twice. She had to stop her dragonbreath and had to land on the ground.
"It looks like Flygon can take a dragon attack too," commented Dan.
"Did you honestly think one dragonbreath would do anything against him. If you did I hate to break it to you that my Flygon can take a lot more than that," replied Andrew with a smile on his face. He was simply enjoying the battle between these two strong dragons.
"Salamence use flamethrower,"
"Flygon use sandstorm,"
Salamence shot back into the sky and sent a stream of flames in the direction of Flygon. Flygon flapped his wings hard and whipped up a sandstorm that looked more like a tornado. This tornado surrounded Salamence and trapped her. Her flamethrower could do nothing but super heat the inside of the tornado.
"This is new. Andrew usually uses sandstorm to clear up smoke. I have never seen him use it as an attack. Since he did this can't be good at all," admitted Dan as he watched on helpless.
"This fun, but this battle of dragons is over. Flygon use hyper beam," said Andrew while sending a glare at Daniel.
Flygon charged up and sent a beam of orange into the tornado. This beam shot through the tornado and nailed Salamence. The beam sent her crashing into the ground. Salamence had fainted from that hyper beam attack.
"Salamence is unable to battle, Flygon wins," said the ref.
"I'll admit that was a pretty cool trick. You used the sandstorm to make sure you land that powerful attack," admitted Dan as he recalled his fainted dragon.
"I knew you would come into this battle expecting the same as the last. Since my Flygon fainted in battle in Richmond I knew I had to change how I use him in battle and using sandstorm for an attack was the one way I seen doing so. After using it in training Flygon and I knew exactly where to hit the hyper beam to hit Salamence," replied Andrew.
"Go Swampert," said Dan tossing out a pokeball.
"Return Flygon and go Lucario," said Andrew.
"Swampert was have to extremely careful here. We don't know if he's going to mega evolve his Lucario," shouted Dan to Swampert.
"How perceptive of you to warn you Swampert of my Lucario's ability to mega evolve. I can say you won't have to worry about that. You already know which pokemon I'm mega evolving," said Andrew.
"Lucario use aura sphere,"
"Swampert protect,"
Lucario focused his aura into a sphere in his left paw. Once satisfied he sent the sphere at Swampert. Swampert was quick to bring up a green shield which protected him from the attack.
"Swampert it's out turn use hammer tail combo,"
Swampert charged at Lucario who stood there waiting and waiting till Swampert got close enough. Once Swampert was in arm's length she concentrated power into her arms and swung at Lucario who dodged the attack by flipping over Swampert. Lucario had his back to Swampert.
"Lucario its our turn so use aura sphere again,"
"Swampert turn around quickly,"
Lucario turned his upper body about 90 degrees and extended his left paw and focused his aura to it. Once he knew that attack was ready he sent it at Swampert. The attack hit Dan's Swampert in the back of the head. Swampert shook her head to shake the damage off the aura sphere caused.
"Swampert return. Lucario time for battle," said Dan.
"It appears it will be the battle of the Lucario's," commented Andrew.
"This is going to be interesting, but Dan's has Hypermode if he needs to use it. So this battle has to favor him," commented Cat looking over the battle.
"That maybe so, but Andrew at any time can turn it to favor him," replied Mika.
Both Lucario's took a fighting stance eyeing each other up. Both Lucario's waited to see which trainer will call out an attack first.
"Lucario use aura sphere," shouted Dan.
"Use it as well," said Andrew.
Dan's Lucario extended out his right paw while Andrew's Lucario extended his left. Both aura pokemon focused their aura to their respective hand. Both sent the sphere of aura at the same time. The two attack hit one another and exploded.
"Lucario now use bone rush," said Dan.
"Lucario match him with bone rush as well,"
Once again both aura pokemon brought their hands together and focused their aura into a bone and rushed at each other. Both ran at each other and locked bone rushes. It looked like a sword duel both were even. Both had both hands on their bone.
"Lucario jump back and then use aura sphere," said Andrew.
Andrew's Lucario jumped back right in front of his trainer just in the nick of time as Dan's was just about to overpower him. He then extended his left paw and focused his aura into his palm and then sent a sphere of concentrated aura at Dan's.
"Lucario shatter it with bone," responded Dan.
Dan's Lucario brought up his bone and used it to shatter the aura sphere that Andrew's Lucario sent at him. After doing so Dan's Lucario's bone dissipated. After the exchange of attacks the two aura pokemon once again locked eyes looking to see what other's next move would be.
"It seems these two are quite even," said Andrew.
"I can agree with that," agreed Dan overlooking the battle.
"What to do next. I know what would like to do and that would be to sucker him in and deliver a powerful blaze kick or I can just get close enough to deliver a close combat. Then again I do have my hidden powered Magnezone. I think it's time I show it," thought Andrew.
Andrew tossed a look at his Lucario. That look that Andrew showed Lucario signaled to Lucario that Andrew was about to switch out. So Andrew's Lucario lowered his guard. It brought a confusing look from Dan's Lucario.
"Return Lucario and go Magnezone," said Andrew.
"What?" questioned Dan with his eyes wide opened as he looked upon a pokemon he never thought would use.
Once out of his pokeball it sparkled little stars signifying he was a shiny pokemon. He was the normal steel color, the top of his head and magnets were purple not black and his eye was blue not red.
"Lucario use bone rush,"
"Magnezone wait till he's right in front of you then use hidden power,"
Lucario brought his two paws together and focused his aura as a bone. He then ran at Andrew's Magnezone. Magnezone just stood their till the time was right and that time was just as Daniel's Lucario jumped to deliver a bone rush into the body of Magnezone. Magnezone created a ball of fire in front of his blue eye and launched into the gut of Lucario sending him back down in front of Daniel.
"Damn I was not prepared for something like that," said Daniel looking at his Lucario who was kneeling. He looked for a few moments then thought about the last time he battled a Magnezone. "I remember my old rival Noah having one, but his didn't have the same raw power as this one," remember Dan.
"I can tell by the look on your face that your confused about my Magnezone here. He is a little differnet then my other electric pokemon and I'm pretty sure you are aware of my two other electric pokemon Luxray and Electivire," said Andrew with his arms crossed.
"Yeah, I am," replied Daniel.
"Well my Magnezone has too much power at times. The last time I used him he shocked everyone around him I had to use Charizard to stop him. The reason behind this power is his ability Analytic," stated Andrew.
"Lucario use aura sphere,"
"Magnezone use zap cannon,"
Daniel's Lucario extended his right paw and sent a sphere of his aura at Magnezone. Magnezone charged a cannon shaped ball of thunder and sent it at the aura sphere. The two attacks collided and exploded causing some smoke to appear.
"Lucario use the cove of the smoke to use bone rush,"
Lucario made a bone of aura between his two paws he brought together. He then rushed at Magnezone who was unaware of the attack.
"Magnezone wait for it then use hidden power,"
Magnezone floated in the same spot waiting for Lucario to appear from the smoke and was in front of him. Once he was in front he sent the same ball of fire at him the attack hit him and sent him flying back in the direction of Dan just landing in front of him.
"Lucario come on we have to use it now," pleaded Dan.
Lucario got up back onto his feet he was slouched over and his arms hung there. He didn't stand long as he fell back to the ground and fainted.
"Lucario is unable to battle Magnezone wins," said the ref.
"Damn I'm down to my last pokemon before break. The last pokemon I thought Andrew would have I would be ling if I didn't expect Swampert again but here is this Magnezone and powerful one at that," Dan thought overseeing what just happened.
"Return Lucario. Swampert time for battle," said Dan.
"So you are down to your last pokemon before our break. Are you going to be able to beat one of my pokemon before or am I going to go into the locker room with a full team which would give you an impossible challenge after half," said Andrew.
"I will bring down one," Daniel replied back a Andrew. He had to show confidence because he let Andrew in on what he was actually thinking he would not be able to take one down.
Dan flashed a look at Cat and she was smiling she was behind him. She was more than likely the only person cheering him on right now. He then looked at the ledge of the wall and seen her electric pokemon Plusle and Minun cheering him on. Her smile gave him some reassurance.
"Swampert use mud shot,"
"Magnezone use magnet bomb,"
Swampert sent small glops of mud at Magnezone. Magnezone sent small amounts of steel bombs at each of the glops of mud. They stuck to the glops of mud and exploded causing the mud n longer glops to fall to the ground.
"Magnezone is making this hard to land an attack he seems to be countering everything I do," Dan said starting to get flustered by his Magnezone.
"Magnezone use magnet bomb,"
"Swampert now use protect,"
Magnezone sent bombs made of steel at Swampert who brought up a green shield which protected him. The bombs stuck to the shield and exploded no harm came to Swampert.
"This our opening drop the shield and use mud shot one more time,"
Swampert dropped his shield and sent glops of mud at Magnezone. Magnezone was hit with these glops on the top of his body sending him into the ground. Even after taking this hit Magnezone still stood.
"Swampert use hammer arm now,"
Swampert rushed gathered power into her fists and then rushed at Magnezone. She swung one of her fist and sent Magnezone into the wall behind Andrew. Magnezone didn't move he just dropped from the wall.
"Magnezone is unable to battle, Swampert wins," shouted the ref.
Dan let out a sigh of relief that he has at least took out one for now. He wasn't going to go into the break not beating one of Andrew's pokemon. Andrew looked over at his Magnezone he was really pleased with his Magnezone's performance. It has been little over a year since Magnezone's last battle and this recent performance might give him some more battle time.
"Return Magnezone and go Flygon," said Andrew.
"It looks like Andrew went back Flygon. I have an ice attack the problem will be hitting him with it," Dan thought looking up at Flygon in the air.
"If I remember correctly Flygon was the one that took me into the half last time. He beat your Lucario if I'm right," Andrew commented on the battle.
"Swampert use ice beam,"
"Flygon use flamethrower,
Swampert sent a rigid blue beam of ice into the air where Flygon was at. Flygon was quick to counter with a stream of fire that burned the ice and found a target in hitting Swampert in the face not doing much damage.
"Swampert use mud shot,"
"Flygon use sandstorm,"
"Not this again. He doing it to slow us down we need to be ready to counter that attack he going to use," commented Dan.
Swampert shot off glops of mud at Flygon in the air. Flygon whipped up a sandstorm and sent it in the direction of Swampert. The glops of mud had no effect on this sand tornado and it trapped Swampert.
"Swampert use protect while inside that storm,"
Swampert encased himself in a green shield as a precaution to an attack that is expected to come.
"Smart thinking. You protected yourself from what you are expecting to be a hyper again. Well your wrong and I'll tell you why. I thought you trying something like that and that is why I didn't rush into another attack like I did before," said Andrew.
"Did he really know I was going to do something like that?" asked Dan to himself.
"Flygon use flamethrower,"
Flygon sent a stream of orange flames right at Swampert who was protected from those flames and took no damage from it. Swampert was no longer trapped in the tornado and was free to attack and was still covered in the shield.
"Flygon it's time for the real attack. Use draco meteor," shouted Andrew pointing into the sky.
"Swampert keep up the shield,"
Flygon sent a single meteor into the sky. That single meteor then exploded into smaller ones and those crashed into Swampert. Her shield with stood the first onslaught of meteors but the shield started to crack and then eventually shattered and then Swampert was hit with the remaining meteors crashing into her back. Swampert fell face first into the ground and she fainted.
"Swampert is unable to battle, Flygon wins. We will now go to a break," said the ref.
(Halftime)
Andrew returned Flygon and walked off into his locker room. Dan returned his Swampert and did the same. Once Dan was inside Cat was waiting for him. He looked defeated already.
"Daniel snap out of it this battle is far from over," said Cat
I know it is. When I go back out there I'm going to even up this score," said Dan.
"That's the sprit that you can use to get you back into this match," replied Cat.
"Andrew sure is full of surprises. He came out with a Magnezone and a powerful one at that and then the more interesting part is that combo he developed with his Flygon. Using sandstorm as he does, I have to give him some credit," said Dan.
"Daniel you can't forget about you combos you kind of forgot about them towards the end of this first half," said Cat.
"I know I have. He just has me off my gameplan right now I have to get back on it after this break," replied Dan.
"Just remember the state tournament how you managed to bounce back against Noah you have to do that again," said Cat.
"The problem is that I'm not up against Noah, I'm up against Andrew and I remember what everyone says that if he goes into half with the lead he comes out nearly impossible to beat," said Dan.
"You can't let that get to you and just focus on the match," replied Cat.
Cat stayed in there for another five minutes. Before returning to her seat. While Dan had Cat, Andrew sat alone taking in the battle in. He prefers to be alone to absorb the sights and sounds of the battle He took a moment to look down at his mega ring and thought about the battle the will happen between Dan's Mega Blaziken and his own Mega Charizard. He took a couple moments to clear his mind of any distractions from the first half. He stretched out on the bench and looked up at the ceiling he took a few minutes to close his eyes and let his mind understand what already happened. His moment was interrupted by the door opening. Normally he would be mad, but the person it was he couldn't be mad at. It was Katie.
"You looked great out there as always. I can't believe you are giving Daniel your all," said Katie.
"I promised him it a while ago and I live up to that," said Andrew.
"I just came in not to bug you just get away from Emma. She talking down to me again," said Katie.
"Please I don't want to be mean, but I'll talk to you after the battle it's not you, but when I'm battling I don't want to be bugged by other problems," Andrew told Katie.
"Ok we'll talk after. I better return to my seat anyway. They are about to call you guys back out and Andrew good luck out there," said Katie.
"One thing Katie you know I don't need luck. I'm going to go out and win," replied Andrew.
"I know you don't you'll live up to the nickname that everyone on TV gives you," said Katie.
"Why have I not heard about this nickname?" asked Andrew.
"I'm surprised you haven't the every time I use to watch the highlights of your matches they called you the Second Half Warrior. Saying that you are impossible to beat after the half break if you go in winning," replied Katie.
"That explains a lot I rarely watch the match highlights on TV. I usually relay on my memory of the match in order to practice or train," said Andrew.
Someone walked into each locker room and gave Andrew and Dan the two minute warning. Katie left and returned to her seat. Cat did as well. A few minutes after they did so Andrew and Dan returned to the arena.
(Second Half of the Battle)
"Are both of you ready to resume the battle?" asked the ref.
"I am," said Dan.
"So am I," said Andrew.
"Good, Dan will call out his pokemon first," said the ref.
"Gallade time for battle," said Dan
"Go Gengar,"
"Gallade use leaf night slash combo,"
"Who do you think your messing with Gengar dodge it then use shadow ball,"
Gallade's blades turned green first as he ran at Gengar. Gengar phased out and reappeared behind him and sent a shadowy ball at Gallade. Gallade was quick on the draw though and was able to turn around and slash through the shadow ball with his green blades. He made another attempt at Gengar as his blades were now black. Gengar avoided this attack as well.
"Now Gengar use hypnosis,"
As quick as he disappeared he reappeared above Gallade he then sent hypnotic waves at Gallade.
"Gallade use psycho cut,"
Gallade looked up and sent purple waves at Gengar. These waves nailed Gengar and sent him into the air. The bad part for Gallade though was he still was put to sleep. The good part was Gengar came down and crashed into the arena ending his day.
"Gengar is unable to battle, Gallade wins," said the ref.
"Return Gengar and go Glaceon," said Andrew.
"Crap, two of my three last pokemon are out cold asleep and I'm trying to save Blaziken for Charizard, but at this rate I may have to go out to him," acknowledged Dan.
"I take it you are going to return him. Which means you one choice to go out and that would be Blaziken because both Gallade and Sceptile are asleep," said Andrew.
"He's right. I don't want to change just yet so I have to hope Gallade here will wake up before I have no choice to go to Blaziken," said Dan to himself.
"Glaceon use hail,"
Glaceon sent a ball of snow into the air and the arena was covered in clouds. It then started to hail which once again made Glaceon faster.
"Glaceon use shadow ball,"
Glaceon opened his mouth and made a shadowy ball in front of it. He then sent it at the sleeping Gallade who did nothing, but take the shadowy ball into the gut. He fell to the ground and didn't get up. The ref looked at him and was about to call the match, but he stopped when Gallade shot up and he was now awake.
"Glaceon freeze the feet with ice beam,"
"Gallade sent the ice beam over your head with psychic,"
Glaceon sent a rigid beam of ice at Gallade. Gallade redirected the attack above him into the ceiling freezing some of the ceiling in the process.
"Gallade use close combat,"
"Glaceon use dig,"
Gallade ran at Glaceon ready to attack. He was unable to land an attack because of Glaceon being in the hole. Glaceon reappeared behind Gallade and sent a shadow at him. The shadow ball nailed Gallade in the back and he fell face first into the snow. Gallade had fainted this time though.
"Gallade is unable to battle, Glaceon wins," said the ref.
"Return Gallade, Blaziken time for battle," said Dan.
"Return Glaceon and go Lucario," said Andrew.
After Glaceon left the field the hail stopped and the arena cleared up.
"Blaziken can get Dan back into the battle. He is Dan's first and best pokemon," said Cat from the sidelines.
"Dan's problem will be Andrew's first pokemon. His Charizard has not used at all. Dan's Blaziken when it finally does come time for him to do battle with Charizard will be at a disadvantage," replied Mika.
"Blaziken we're not going to waste any time. Show him mega evolution," shouted Dan pressing his mega ring.
Blaziken was surrounded by fire. The transformation in the fire was quick. Blaziken looked differnet. Blaziken's yellow feather's on his legs turned red, the red feathers turned black. The feathery "hairs" on Blaziken's head pointed upward in a wing shape. As the sphere of flames broke the flames on his arms extended out considerably and blow in the wind.
"Lucario use aura sphere,"
"Blaziken use blaze uppercut combo,"
Lucario extended his left hand and focused his aura into a sphere in the palm of his paw. He then sent it at Blaziken. Blaziken's new found speed came into use as he was able to avoid the aura sphere. He then kicked Lucario with his blazing foot. He then delivered a uppercut to his chin that sent him into the air. After a short moment in the air Lucario crashed back into the arena flat on his face he was unable to battle.
"Lucario is unable to battle, Blaziken wins," said the ref.
"Return Lucario. Daniel you know what's coming next. This next battle will be the toughest test for Blaziken. He will be up against Mega Charizard X. I hope you're ready," said Andrew.
"I am ready for him," replied Dan.
"Fine Go Charizard," said Andrew tossing his pokeball.
Charizard landed on the ground after getting out of his pokeball. Charizard sent a flamethrower into the air signifying he was ready to battle.
"Charizard it's our turn show him mega evolution," said Andrew pressing his mega ring.
Charizard was encased in fire. Again the transformation was quick. Charizard was all black. His chest and the interior of his rigid wings were not black they were blue. The flame on the end of his tail was blue as well. Charizard sent into the air blue flames to signal he was ready for battle.
"Blaziken show him flamethrower,"
"My Charizard will match you stride for stride. Show him flamethrower," said Andrew.
Blaziken sent out a large stream of orange flames right at Charizard. Charizard sent a very similar stream of blue fire. These two stream met head on and it was even to start with. The two attacks sent waves of heat around the arena. Those in the front row had to duck to avoid the heat. Andrew and Dan to cover their faces to protect themselves. These two mega pokemon did not let up. The two attacks were even for only a few more moments before Charizard's blue flamethrower overtook Blaziken's and he was hit with the flamethrower. HE shook it off and stayed in this fight.
"I know I have to end this fast before Blaziken starts picking up more speed. He still be tough to beat even now," said Andrew.
"Blaziken use flare blitz,"
"Charizard use flare blitz as well,"
Blaziken ran at Charizard first he was blue and then he turned red. Charizard flew high into the sky and came down picking up speed he first was red then he was blue both pokemon meet head on Blaziken was quickly overwhelmed and was sent flying back behind his trainer. He jumped right back to his feet. Still ready to fight.
"Blaziken use sky uppercut,"
Blaziken used his blazing fast speed whit his hand all white as he got closer to Charizard. He then jumped and connected right under Charizard's chin.
"Charizard grab him,"
"Blaziken you have to get out of there,"
It was to late Charizard grabbed hold of Blaziken and did not let go. Blaziken squirmed to try to get free, but that was for nothing he could not free himself.
"Blaziken use flamethrower right into his belly,"
"Dan even with that attempt it won't work. Charizard use outrage,"
Blaziken sent a stream of flames right into the gut of Charizard. Even with taking that into his chest Charizard kept flying into the air. His eyes were all blue and once he reached an appropriate height Charizard with Blaziken in his grip started spiraling down towards the ground. Just before both pokemon would the ground Charizard let go of Blaziken sending him crashing into the ground. A giant crater was left were Blaziken crashed. Blaziken got right back to his feet after taking this hit. This action confused Andrew, Charizard, and most watching.
"How's he still standing?" asked Andrew.
"That would be his fighting sprit. He will not give up just like I won't in this battle," replied Dan.
"Dan it would be a bad idea if we let this go any further. You know that as well as I do. I'm glad he has a fighting sprit, but it would be reckless on my part to let go on. So I will not let Charizard go in for another attack," said Andrew.
Dan looked at his Blaziken who was now on one knee inside the crater that was left. Dan was about to call an attack but thought better. He knew his partner could be hurt if he used an attack. Dan knew that because the only move Andrew could counter an attack with would be outrage and he Charizard withstood a flamethrower when he used outrage last time.
"Blaziken," is all Dan could say.
Blaziken looked back at him and shook his head and after doing so fell face first into the ground. He returned to normal form after fainting. Dan returned his partner and he was smiling from what his partner was able to do. He managed to take out Lucario and give a fight to Charizard who was Andrew's best pokemon.
"Blaziken is unable to battle, Charizard wins," said the ref.
"So that leave Sceptile doesn't it and I know he's asleep. So are you going to go to him?" asked Andrew.
"I am I plan to finish this battle," answered Dan.
"Ok then I will not keep Charizard out," said Andrew.
Andrew then pressed his mega ring and returned Charizard to his normal form and then returned him. Andrew then went out to Glaceon to finish the match off.
"Sceptile time for battle," said Dan.
Dan's grass type pokemon was still asleep once he was called out. He stood there eyes closed and could do nothing.
"Glaceon use blizzard,"
Glaceon opened his mouth and summoned a storm of snow and ice. This storm hit Sceptile and he was sent onto his back. The ref was about to call the match but just in time Sceptile awoke and jumped back to his feet.
"Sceptile use energy ball,"
"Glaceon use dig,"
Sceptile charged up and sent a green ball of energy at Glaceon who dug underground to avoid the attack.
"Sceptile careful the ice type can appear anywhere,"
"Glaceon use ice beam now,"
Glaceon popped out the same hole he dug up and then sent a beam of rigid blue ice. Sceptile acted quickly to avoid the ice attack.
"Sceptile use iron blade combo,"
After avoiding the ice beam he now charged at Glaceon with his leaves on his arms all green and larger like blades. He slashed at Glaceon finding his mark twice. Glaceon then took the tail to the gut and was sent flying back landing on his side. Glaceon jumped back to his feet and shook it off and the fight went on.
"Glaceon let's speed this up and use hail,"
Glaceon sent a ball of ice into the sky. Once again it was cloudy and then started to snow. This snow covered the arena and made Glaceon hard to see.
"Sceptile we have to pay more attention now," said Dan looking around trying to find the elusive ice type pokemon.
"Glaceon bring and end to this battle and use sheer cold," said Andrew.
Glaceon sent a blast of freezing cold ice. This ice is colder then any other ice attack. Sceptile tried to avoid it, but he couldn't because of the snow on the arena made it harder to move around. and he was hit this blast and it froze him solid. Thee was no way he could get himself of this ice and the match had to be called.
"Sceptile is unable to battle, Glaceon wins. Andrew is the winner," said the ref.
The match was called and now Andrew planned on helping Dan unfreeze his grass pokemon. Andrew called upon the surfaces of his Flygon who used flamethrower to help free Sceptile. Flygon's attack combined with Dan calling out his Blaziken and him using an attack. Sceptile was shivering still even after being freed by the ice.
"I'd get him to a Pokemon Center," said Andrew.
Dan returned his Sceptile and made his way to an exit. Cat was following over to the Pokemon Center. Andrew returned both his pokemon and walked back to the locker room. he collected his backpack and he too walked over to the Pokemon Center.
(At the Pokemon Center)
Dan handed his pokeballs to the Nurse and took a seat. He was surprised to hear a voice form the past, he turned around to see a guy in blue jeans and a military t-shirt. He was well built man and he had dirty blonde hair.
"Danny what happened out there?" asked Noah.
"What are you doing here Noah?" Dan asked in response.
"I overheard in town yesterday that you were going to battle Andrew. I couldn't miss the opportunity to see you battle him," Noah answered in a joking manor.
"Word gets a around fast," replied Dan.
Just after saying that Andrew walked into the Pokemon Center. He walked over to Dan to talk to him about the battle.
"I hope interrupting anything," said Andrew.
"No your not," responded Dan.
"That was a great battle. You left everything on the arena and I was surprised some of that match at how much your pokemon could take now from the last time we battled. Blaziken will only get stronger as you work with his mega form. I'm not going to say when we will battle again, but when we do the battle will be even better then this one. Daniel thanks for that battle and keep working at it," said Andrew leaving.
After watching him leave Daniel shifted his focus back onto his old rival Noah who was sitting across from him in the pokemon center.
"How did you meet him?" asked Noah.
"That's story for a differnet day Noah," replied Dan.
Cat walked over and told Dan that the Nurse had his pokemon checked and he could come get them. Dan stood up and walked over to the counter and collected his pokemon.
"Daniel some rest will do your pokemon good. So just take it easy on them for the next couple days," said the Nurse.
"I will thank you nurse," replied Dan clipping his pokeballs back to his belt.
Noah walked over to Dan and said some parting words before he too left.
"Well Danny I'll see you at the Champion's Cup, oh and next time I see you that should be in the final round were I'll beat you and go face your friend the Champion," joked Noah leaving.
"You have to make it there first," retorted Daniel.
Noah laughed as he walked out of the Pokemon Center and into the city. Daniel looked at Caitlynn and smiled he did enjoy that battle today and learned a lot about himself.
"Why are you happy Daniel?" asked Cat.
"This battle was a great experience for my pokemon. This was the first real battle I had with Andrew's Charizard and one thing I learned is he is no joke. I also learned he changed up some things," replied Dan.
"What do you mean he changed things?" asked Cat.
"You seen his Flygon out there, he used sandstorm as an attack compared from any of the recent times I have seen it battle he only used sandstorm as a way to clear the smoke in a battle," replied Dan.
"Daniel I don't think he'll admit it but you're making him a better trainer too. What you said basically proves that. He had change up what he does when he battled you," said Cat.
"You're right about that," joked Dan finding a seat on the couch.
Cat took a seat next to him and they both gave their attention to the TV. Andrew was outside walking around replaying some of the moments from the battle in his head. Katie walked over to him and tapped his back which snapped him out of the battle.
"Huh?" said Andrew looking around confused.
"Um, Andrew you do know you were talking to yourself right?" asked Katie.
"I do that from time to time. I usually do it when I'm deep in thought," replied Andrew with a laugh and a scratch of the head.
"What a battle huh?" asked Katie.
"Yeah, I have to say in these 8 months I've been Champion this ranks pretty high as one of my toughest battles. Dan is a great trainer, he always has me on my toes when I'm battling him. I was really surprised when I saw his Blaziken withstand a outrage which would normally knock out a pokemon. Hell I changed up how I used Flygon because of him," replied Andrew.
They continued walking around till the walked back to the Pokemon Center. Dan and Cat were still in front of the TV. Brady, Emma, and Zac were up stairs talking among themselves. Andrew had the Nurse check his pokemon and then took a seat on the couch that was across from where Dan and Cat were sitting. Katie took seat next to Andrew. Mika just walked into the Pokemon Center after Andrew took a seat. She saw all of them over there and she too joined them.
"So Mika was that battle what you expected?" asked Andrew.
"I really expected the battle of mega pokemon at the end, but it was still a good battle," replied Mika.
"Andrew, was it because of me you changed up how you battled with Flygon?" asked Dan.
"I would actually like an answer to that too." said Mika.
Andrew didn't respond. He looked at Katie and smiled and then stood up and walked out. The others were confused what did that mean. I guess they'll never know. Katie was still sitting on the couch eyes glued on the TV after Andrew left.
"If I'm right your name is Katie," said Mika.
"Yeah it is," replied Katie taking her eyes off the TV.
"He told you didn't he?" asked Mika.
"Yeah, he did," replied Katie with a smile.
So did change it up because of Dan?" asked Mika.
"Well I better go nice to meet all of you," said Katie leaving back upstairs.
Dan and Cat found their room and got comfortable. Cat has an early day tomorrow since the Contest starts at 7am. Those participating have to be there at 5am. So after they went to their room they went to bed. After a staying up a couple more hours those upstairs went to bed too. Mika stayed up and waited for Andrew to return she really wanted an answer from him. He returned two hours after he left. He saw Mika sitting on the couch waiting for him.
"Andrew I want a straight answer. Did you change up your strategy because of Daniel?" asked Mika.
"If you must know. I did he was one of the main reasons I did," answered Andrew.
"I see. It's a good sign that you are not getting complacent you are changing up what you do," said Mika.
"Well Mika I'll see you tomorrow I'm going to go get some sleep," said Andrew leaving upstairs.
Mika left the Pokemon Center and went to her hotel and went to bed.
There it is Andrew vs. Dan. It was a great battle to see In the end Andrew won the battle and we figured out that Andrew did change up what he would normally do. By far the longest chapter I've done it was a lot of work but well worth it. We saw at the beginning a Show at the city of Erie that Andrew and Katie went to. We also learned that there is another Champion in our region he is from Germany. We also learned that Seraph Co. is helping Team Darkness. Once Andrew is back in California he will go have a chit chat with the CEO of the company to confront him about the document Jen found.

Team Darkness:
They are connected to a company that operates in California. Andrew called for Morgan and Tony of the Pokemon League to come help him out there.
(Side Note: The only reason this is out today and not Friday is because I won't be home this weekend. So enjoy it early as I worked on this chapter since last week.)
