(Tuesday)
Everyone has gathered in the Cincinnati Dome ready to watch to remainder of the Contest. Bailey just introduced the judges, one by one again they walked and found their seat. Bailey then instructed those sitting in the audience to look over at the titantron it displayed the battles for this round. The first match today would be Caitlynn vs. Jose. Bailey walked out to the middle of the arena to start this by introducing the first two.
"Good Morning let's get started the first Contest Battle will be between Caitlynn from Columbia Falls, Montana and she'll be battling Jose from Jefferson City, Missouri. Now lets here it for both them," said Bailey pointing toward the locker rooms.
Caitlynn was the first to walk out and across from where she walked out Jose did. They both looked ready, they had their pokeballs in their hand ready to battle. They both tossed a quick look at the screen and it was ready to go as well. Jose tossed out his pokemon and it was a Braixen. Caitlynn was next and she tossed out her Swellow. The timer was set for 5minutes and the Coordinators started shortly after.

"Braixen use wil-o-wisp,"
"Swellow dodge using double team,"
Braixen took out her fire stick from her tail and started creating a circle of fire in front of herself. Braixen then sent balls of fire at Cat's Swellow. Her Swellow moved fast and created multiple clones of herself. These clones took the balls of fire rather than Swellow herself did. Jose lost some of his percent and so did Cat.
"Braixen now use flamethrower,
"Swellow dodge and use steel wing,"
Braixen once again used her stick and sent a stream of flames at Swellow. Swellow made it look to easy and avoided the stream of fire. Swellow then flew at Braixen both her wings a sliver color. Swellow then dived at Braixen, She hit him once in the front and then a second time in the back.
"Swellow it's our turn use aerial ace,"
"Braixen use psybeam,"
Swellow dove at Braixen, she had white streaks coming from her beak as she went at Braixen. Braixen once again took out her wand and sent a ray which was multi-colored. This ray hit Swellow and stopped her cold. Swellow also looked confused when looking around.
"This is not good Caitlynn her Swellow is confused and it looks like Braixen has upper hand," commented Bailey.
Daniel looked nervous he knew this could be bad if Swellow couldn't break it. Daniel still remained positive because the score almost looked even at the 4 minute mark.

"One minute in and we are so close only 3% spate Swellow and Braixen," commented Bailey.
"Braixen use flamethrower,"
"Swellow use heat wave,"
Swellow couldn't do anything because she hurt herself from confusion. Braixen then took out her wand and sent a stream of fire right at Swellow. The flying type pokemon took the attack head on and Braixen was now ahead.
"We got this Braixen that bird is confused," boasted Jose.
"This isn't over yet Swellow will pull through," Caitlynn shot back at Jose.
"Braixen use psybeam,"
"Swellow use aerial ace,"
Braixen once again sent a ray of colors at the flying type pokemon. This time around thought Swellow was able to understand the command and flew around the ray and now dived at Braixen white streaks came from her beak as she dived at her. Swellow was then nailed Braixen and knocked her down again. Swellow didn't look confused anymore she now had this fierceness about her.
"Braixen use shock wave,"
"Swellow use ominous wind,"
Swellow flapped her wings harder and harder and created this purple wind that was repulsive that Braixen tried to get out of the way of it, but couldn't so she took a lot of damage from that attack and she was unable to use her shock wave attack.
"It appears Swellow now has the lead, but it's still very close we'll have to see if Swellow or Braixen can pull this out," commented Bailey.

Caitlynn tossed a quick glance at the front to see her friend Dan and her two pokemon cheering for her. Her two pokemon had the pompoms and everything trying to cheer her on. The crowd was into it as well. They were cheering and some were booing.
"Braixen use shock wave again,"
"Swellow dodge it with double team then hit her with steel wing,"
Braixen flicked her wand and sent a quick jolt of thunder in the direction of Swellow who again moved fast enough to create illusionary copies of herself. The jolt hit one of those copies and missed Swellow who know flew at Braixen, her wings a slivery color and once again she hit Braixen twice one in the front and once in the back.
"Swellow use aerial ace,"
"Braixen use shock wave one last time,"
Braixen slowly got back to her feet and once again sent a jolt of thunder at Swellow, who made it look easy and dodged it. Swellow then nailed Braixen in the back with her beak sending her flying across the arena. This also separated Braixen and her stick. Braixen was now unable to attack she also looked nervous as her stick was across the arena.
"Oh boy this could be problematic Braixen is separated from her stick she may have just lost this battle," stated Bailey.
"Swellow use steel wing,"
This would be the last time the attack was needed because Braixen fainted after getting hit twice again once in the front and once in the back with Swellow's slivery wings.
"That looks like that'll be it for Braixen. It appears Caitlynn and her Swellow be advancing. We did have a great showing for Braixen though, but the battle was over when she was separated from that stick. Better luck next time Jose," said Bailey.
Cat look over one last time to see Dan and her two electric pokemon cheering for her. The crowd was more friendly then in the last two Contest towns too as they cheered for her. As a shoe of good sportsmanship Caitlynn pointed at the stick and Swellow picked it up and gave it too Braixen before Jose returned her. Cat then returned her pokemon and both Coordinators walked back into the locker rooms. Once they left Bailey walked back into the middle of the arena to introduce the next group of Coordinators.
"Up first from Boston, MA please welcome Ally Richards. In this round she'll be facing from Dayton, Ohio Ryder," introduced Bailey.
Both of these young Coordinators walked out and took their spot on the stage. Ally unclipped on of her pokeballs, Ryder did the exact same thing. They both tossed their pokeballs at the same time. In front of Ryder out popped a Beedrill and in front of Ally was her Houndoom.

"Beedrill use fury attack,"
"Houndoom counter with flamethrower,"
Beedrill rushed at Houndoom with his stingers leading the way, Beedrill was stopped cold with the stream of fire that Houndoom sent at him. this stream pushed Beedrill back and into the wall. Beedrill managed to fly his way back in front of his trainer.
"That one attack looked like it almost took half of Beedrill's percent. Ryder is in a bit of a pickle, his Beedrill wouldn't be able to survive another direct flamethrower," commented Bailey.
"She's right I know my bug wouldn't be able to do anything against that Houndoom," thought Ryder looking over the battle.
Ryder took a few seconds before giving another command to his Beedrill. This time he thought it out before attacking.
"Beedrill use sludge bomb,"
"Houndoom use iron tail,"
Beedrill brought his two stingers together and sent a poisonous bomb right at Houndoom. Houndoom used his speed to dodge the attack with ease. The back of his tail turned a sliver color and he jumped into the air and slammed his tail down on Beedrill.
"Wait a minute Beedrill stopped the tail from coming down," shouted Bailey.
A clear look showed that Beedrill used his stingers to stop the tail. It was quite a battle for Beedrill to prevent that tail from crashing into him.
"Beedrill now use sliver wind,"
Beedrill started to flap his bug wings hard with the wind blown were these powdery scales they both hit Houndoom and sent him right back at his trainer.
"By the look of that it barely did anything to Houndoom. Houndoom only lost about 10 percent Beedrill is still lower going into the four minute mark," Bailey commented on what was going on.

"Beedrill lets keep up the attacking and now use poison jab," said Ryder.
"Houndoom use fire blast," said Ally.
Beedrill flew at Houndoom with both stingers a dark purple color. Houndoom stood there not looking scared or worried as he opened his mouth and sent a ball of fire at, this fire ball transformed into a human made of fire. This fire person went right at Beedrill and it burned him completely. Beedrill crashed into the ground and could do nothing.
"It looks like we have another winner. Ally will be advancing into the semi-finals just like Caitlynn already had," stated Bailey.
Ally's Houndoom ran at her and nearly knocked her down. Her Houndoom was just overjoyed about the win, he started to like her face, Ally had to return him before she did fall over. She walked back into the locker room and took a seat and cleaned off her from the Houndoom slobber.
"Another quick battle in this round. Let's see if the next one will be longer so here are the next coordinators starting off with Jenna DiMartin from Nashville, TN and she'll be facing June from Redwood, CA," introduced Bailey.
Jenna walked out first and shortly after she did June did. Both coordinators took their spot on the arena and they both got their pokeballs ready. June tossed out her Durant, and Jenna tossed out her Rhydon.

"Rhydon use take down,"
"Durant use dig to dodge,"
June's Durant dug deep underground to avoid and attacks Jenna's Rhydon would throw at him. Rhydon still rushed around the arena waiting for Durant to pop back up to the surface. Rhydon still lost some percent because of missing Durant.
"Durant dig up and use iron head,"
June's Durant dug up right behind Jenna's Rhydon and then rushed at him with his head leading the way. Durant nailed Rhydon right into his rocky gut. It pushed Rhydon back and also caused lose some more percentage points.
"Durant use flash cannon,"
"Rhydon use earthquake quick,"
Rhydon started stomping on the ground causing it to shake and rattle. Durant couldn't find his target after all the shaking it also binned him between rocks as well.
"That was quick thinking on Jenna's part to avoid taking another serious hit," commented Bailey.
"Rhydon use fire punch,"
"If this hits it could spell doom for June's Durant," stated Bailey.
Rhydon worked up a head of steam and one of his arms turned a burning red color as he rushed at Durant. Durant was still pinned between rocks and was about to take a direct hit from fire punch. Rhydon delivered the heated hit to his head. The rocks that pinned Durant was shattered by the force of the punch. Durant layed for a few moments before standing back up. He stood up just as the clock struck four minutes.

"Jenna and her Rhydon barely hold the lead this can still go either way," stated Bailey after looking up at the board then looking to the audience.
Jenna flashed a quick look at the board and was happy for leading, but she wished he lead by more, but taking a direct hit from iron head would do that. June on the other hand still had hope that she could come away with the win. She desperately needs a win to get her 4th ribbon and one away from joining Hailey at Grand Festival level.
"Use energy ball Durant,"
"Rhydon use fire punch again,"
Durant made a green type ball of energy in front of his mouth he then sent it at Rhydon who was more than ready to break the attack with his burning arm.
"Durant use this as a chance to land another iron head,"
Durant used the cover of the two attacks hitting to rush at Rhydon. His head coated in a shiny sliver color. June's Durant aimed right at Rhydon's feet to knock him down. He hit Rhydon without fail and knocked onto his back.
The crowds reaction was classic they looked shock to see that such a small pokemon was able to knock down Rhydon. Jenna didn't have that same look she looked worried. Rhydon did manage to get back to his feet and ready for a fight.
"It's our turn Rhydon use rock tomb,"
Jenna's Rhydon showed his strength as he started lifting otherwise heavy rocks and tossing them with ease. June's Durant had to keep moving around in order to avoid those rocks. Eventually all the moving caught up with Durant as he had to take a rock to the back. He was trapped under that rock unable to move. Jenna at this as an opportunity to attack.
"Rhydon use fire punch again,"
Rhydon's arm once again was a fiery red color as he rushed at the trapped Durant. He then dropped the fire punch on his head not once but twice. This also allowed Durant to free himself because the two hits pushed him deeper into the dirt.

Durant even after taking those fire punches managed to stay strong and upright. Jenna was even more exited by the fact she is now leading by 6 and by the look of June's Durant he may not make through the remainder of this fierce battle.
"Durant use iron defense,"
"Rhydon use take down,"
Durant took this moment and coated himself in iron that raised his defense and Durant was able withstand the powerful charge that Jenna's Rhydon just gave.
"Durant use dug and then use iron head from behind Rhydon,"
Durant dug deep underground out of range of Rhydon's attacks.
"Rhydon use earthquake to get that Durant back to the surface,"
The ground on the arena started to shake. While underground Durant had to dig up to the surface to avoid being trapped underground. The earthquake did a large sum of damage to June's Durant.

June's Durant was wobbly on his feet as the ground around him was uneven. Rhydon look just fine with how the arena ground looked. He was surprisingly happy with it.
"Rhydon lets end this with a bang use focus blast to get off the ground then punch with fire punch,"
Rhydon brought his stubby arms together and created a brown blast of power in between them he then sent the attack at Durant. The attack landed just in front of him and sent Durant into the air. Rhydon then rushed at Durant with one of those arms coated in fire. By time he reached Durant he punched him and sent him into the wall behind June. Durant was stuck in the wall. After all the attacks were finished the clock struck 1 minute remaining.

"It looks like Durant maybe out of this battle. We'll give him a few more seconds to try and free himself if he can't then its over," said Bailey.
They waited fifteen seconds before calling the match in Jenna's favor. She and Rhydon and beaten Durant and June.
"It looks like all we need is one more before the semi finals. We will take a short break to clean up the arena and then we'll have the fourth and final battle of this round. So please stay seated and wait it all but take 5 minutes for us to get this arena ready," stated Bailey.
(During the Clean Up Process)
"Wow that was an intense battle," commented Katie.
"Yeah it had it's moments," replied Zac siting next to her.
Before replying to Zac Katie looked down at her phone. She wanted to text Andrew but thought against for the moment. She then looked over to Zac.
"Zac do ever say anything nice?" asked Katie.
"I only do it to certain people," replied Zac with a shrug.
"Zac your problem is your never humble or accepting of others. You fill you have the right to say what you want and do what you want, but your wrong you have no manners and no respect for others. A person like you should be grateful that we put up with your poor attitude because no else will," said Katie with some anger in her voice.
"Katie the only reason you say things like that is because you think your 'boyfriend' Andrew will come sweeping in beat whoever says something back to you and that will be that. That's where you are wrong Andrew isn't here and won't be here because he has other problems on his hands like cleaning up his poor families lab rather then doing his job," replied Zac.
"I think your stupid Zac, Andrew is there on business as well. He's looking into something concerning Team Darkness," said Katie.
"How would I know that. He doesn't tell anyone but you what he's doing," replied Zac.
"That's because he trusts me. He can't trust someone like you. I don't even trust you. You invade by privacy with reading the note he left on my nightstand. You just have no common decency for others. One of these days someone will have had enough of it and wipe the floor with you. I would love to do that at the Champion's Cup, but with poor attitude you'd be lucky if you make there," stated Katie letting off some steam.
"Katie, I know I'll make it to the Champion's Cup and more than likely win it. Then I'll go on to face Andrew and beat him and eventually become Champion," stated Zac in response.
"You must really live in dream land. We have so many great trainers that it won't be that easy Zac and you know it," replied Katie.
Just before Zac could respond Bailey walked back out into the center of the new clean arena.
"Thank you all for your patience we can now go and take part in our last match of this round. So let's first welcome from Boston MA: Gabby Hughes and here opponent for this round is Meagan Hario," introduced Bailey.
Both female Coordinators walked out and stood in their spots on the arena. Both Coordinators took out one pokeball and got ready to toss out there pokemon.

"Go Glaceon," said Meagan.
"Go Ariados," said Gabby.

Ariados: 100%
"Glaceon use shadow ball,"
"Ariados use poison jab to break it,"
Glaceon made a dark purple ball in front of her mouth and shot it off in the direction of Ariados. Ariados was quick to act and used one of his legs and jabbed the shadow ball with its tip covered in poison. The shadow ball shattered and Meagan's Glaceon lost some points.
"Ariados use dig,"
"Glaceon we have to be careful. This spider could come from anywhere," stated Meagan.
Ariados dug deep underground. Meagan and her Glaceon examined the arena field carefully trying to see when and where Ariados will pop up from. It took a few seconds before Ariados did pop up.
"Now Ariados use cross poison,"
Ariados jumped out of the ground and into the air right above the backside of Glaceon. Glaceon had no time to dodge or move and was hit with the two legs of Ariados that were covered in poison. Glaceon fell onto her belly but she was quick to shake it off and get back to her feet.
"Glaceon on use blizzard,"
Glaceon let out a cry and sent a powerful snow storm at Ariados. Ariados tried to move through but he was eventually caught up in and he was completely frozen.
"It looks like this battle maybe over if Ariados cannot attack it will have to be called. We'll give him till 4 minutes to see if can get out of the ice," stated Bailey.
Everyone watched intently to see if Ariados could break out of the ice. It started to look back when the timer was at 4:15 because Gabby tried to get Ariados to attack his way but he couldn't. As the timer was about to hit 4 minutes Ariados finally freed himself. It took a lot of energy from Ariados to do so but he did.

"This isn't looking to good for gabby she is behind so much. She'll need a major comeback to get a win in this round," commented Bailey.
"Glaceon use ice beam,"
"Ariados use double team,"
Ariados moved quickly around the arena it appeared he had made copies of himself as he moved. Glaceon was confused and was unable to use her ice beam attack.
"Now Ariados use sludge bomb,"
Ariados stopped moving for a moment and sent a sludgy ball at Glaceon. Glaceon took the attack and was poisoned from the attack. She took the damage from the sludge bomb and damage from the poison coursing through her veins.
"Glaceon use ice fang,"
Glaceon ran at Ariados even as the poison did it's damage to her.
"Ariados now use X-scissor,"
Ariados stood his ground as Glaceon still rushed at him. Glaceon's mouth was this icy color. As Glaceon was about to attack Ariados' now green legs made an X and attacked her . This attack sent her back in the direction of her trainer. Both pokemon looked at each other waiting to see the other's next move.
"We are just now at the three minute mark and it appears to be getting closer and closer," commented Bailey.

"Ariados use cross poison,"
"Glaceon use ice beam,"
Ariados moved quick and effectively towards Glaceon. Glaceon watched his movements and waited for the right moment and sent a rigid blue beam of ice at Ariados. This beam of ice struck Ariados and once again he was frozen.
"Glaceon now use hyper beam,"
Glaceon stopped the ice beam attack and then charged up and sent an orange beam right at the frozen Ariados. This beam shattered the ice and blasted Ariados past his trainer and into the back wall leaving him there and once he fell he fainted this battle was as good as over.
"there we have it ladies and gentleman our final four trainers. It is Ally, Caitlynn, Jenna, and Meagan. We will now deiced who will be facing who so I instruct you all to look up at the screen," instructed Bailey pointing at the screen.
It took a few moments but the semi-final matches had appeared.
Match 1: Caitlynn vs. Meagan
Match 2: Ally vs. Jenna
"These two matches will take place in a few minutes so please stay seated and give us some time to get the arena ready," stated Bailey walking over to the judges.
The arena was once again cleaned up and ready to go. The first two Coordinators took their spots the judges had deiced to switch the match order to give Meagan some time to catch her breath and relax for a bit so the first match now is Ally vs. Jenna.
(Semi-final Match 1: Jenna vs. Ally)
"Go Rhydon," said Jenna.
"Go Marshstomp," said Ally.

Marshtomp: 100%
"Rhydon use focus blast,"
"Use hydro pump," said Ally.
Rhydon brought his arms together and made a powerful blast in between them. He kept at it till he was hit with the large torrent of water that Marshtomp used. This torrent of water forced Rhydon to stop making the blast and bring his arms up to protect his face.
"Rhydon use take down,"
Rhydon couldn't move the hydro pump was just to much for him. He had to keep his arms up protecting him. That was till Marshstomp let up on the attack. After letting up Rhydon was able to finally build a head of steam and able to rush at Marshtomp.
"Marshtomp use muddy water,"
Marshtomp took a stance and sent a stream of just brown dirty water. This dirty water stopped Rhydon in his tracks and forced him back towards Jenna.
"This is not looking so good for Jenna. Rhydon has already token to super effective hits. This is going bad for Jenna. We'll have to wait and see if she can bounce back," commented Bailey.
Both Coordinators flashed a look at the screen, Ally was extremely pleased with how to its going so far. Jenna on the other hand wasn't the two water attacks did no favors on her Rhydon.
"Rhydon use iron tail,"
Marshtomp use mud bomb,"
Rhydon's large tail became a sliver color as he rushed at Marshtomp. Marshtomp was ready and he sent a hard packed mud ball at Rhydon. The hard packed mud ball hit Rhydon and once again he was stopped.
"Marshtomp now blast him with muddy water once again,"
After stopping Rhydon with mud bomb Marshtomp now sent a dirty brown water at Rhydon. Rhydon was hit with it and he was forced to bring his arms up. to protect his face from the water. Being hit by a third water attack did no favors for Jenna Rhydon.

"This could be an overwhelming victory for Ally if she keeps this up. She could find herself in the finale," Bailey commented towards the crowd.
Jenna looked over at her Rhydon. He looks exhausted from the water attacks that Ally's Marshtomp kept throwing at him. The score was an even worse sign. It will be hard to bounce back from this much of a deficit especially against a water pokemon.
"Rhydon use earthquake,"
"Marshtomp stand your ground we'll get through this," said Ally.
Marshtomp stood there and watched as the ground around shook around him. As rocks started coming up Marshstomp would jump onto them to avoid them. Once the ground stopped shaking Marshtomp took barely any damage the scoreboard reflected that.
"Marshtomp its our turn use hydro pump,"
Marshtomp jumped onto another rock and sent a torrent of water at Jenna's Rhydon.
"Rhydon use rock tomb to bring a rock between you and that hydro pump,"
Rhydon lifted the rock next to him and brought it down right in front of him. This rock took the water attack. At first it looked like it would hold up but after being hammered by the torrent it started to crack in the middle. This caught Ally's attention and she called over to her Marshtomp.
"Marshtomp aim your hydro pump at the breaking point of that rock,"
Marshtomp lowered his torrent of water at that the cracks of the rock. After holding up for a few more seconds the rock shattered and Rhydon was hit with the water attack. Rhydon could do nothing to stop this water as it pounded on him. Rhydon eventually lost his footing and fell onto his back basically ending his night.
"That looks like Jenna's fierce Rhydon is done for the day. It has lost to Ally's Marshtomp in a landslide victory. We are two battles away to see if this young upstart can take it all," commented Bailey.
The arena was cleared and readied for the last battle in the semi-final round. This round is between Caitlynn who has to be the favorite against another young upstart in Meagan. After Jenna and Ally walked into the locker room Jenna walked over to Ally. Jenna extended her arm and Ally shook it.
"Congrats you deserve that win you were the better Coordinator. Don't think next time you and I battle it will be the same it won't I'm gunning for you next," laughed Jenna before leaving.
(Semi-Final Match 2: Caitlynn vs. Meagan)
Both Coordinators took their spot on yet another clean arena. The look on Meagan's face knew that she was facing a tough Coordinator in Caitlynn. Caitlynn really needed to blow past Meagan and get into the finale. She needs this win to recover from her recent losing streak. Caitlynn got her pokeball ready she knew which pokemon she wanted to go out. Meagan also knew which pokemon she wanted to use. They both tossed out their pokemon.
"Go Glaceon," said Meagan.
"Go Ninetales," said Caitlynn.

"Glaceon use ice beam,"
"Ninetales burn right through it with flamethrower,"
Glaceon sent a rigid beam of ice at Ninetales. Ninetales was quick to act and sent a powerful stream of fire at the ice. The ice was burned right through and Glaceon was hit with a direct flamethrower. Everyone watched as Glaceon lost a lot of points. This made Meagan traveling companion nervous to see.
"Glaceon use shadow ball,"
"Ninetales use it as well,"
Both pokemon sent a shadowy ball at each other. In the end the two balls hit one another and just exploded. The smoke was lifted up above the arena by the fan built into the arena.
"Glaceon use dig to move then pop up behind Ninetales and use ice fang,"
"Ninetales use quick attack to dodge,"
Glaceon dug deep underground Ninetales used her superior speed to avoid the attack with ease and Glaceon landed back onto the ground. There was four minutes remaining after Glaceon landed back onto the ground.

Ninetales turned around quickly and sent another stream of fire at Glaceon.
"Glaceon jump back into the hole to avoid the attack,"
Glaceon jumped back down her hole to get away from that stream of fire. The stream now it the back wall just behind her trainer. Glaceon waited a few seconds and then jumped out of the hole.
"Glaceon use blizzard,"
"Ninetales use flamethrower,"
Glaceon let out a cry and start powerful snow storm. Ninetales was quick to act just like she has been all battle and sent a stream of fire that flew snow storm and found it mark on Glaceon. Glaceon was knocked to the ground by this powerful fire attack. Caitlynn has this battle well in hand and will more than likely find herself against Ally. Glaceon didn't regroup after taking the latest flamethrower and lost this battle.
"That looks like the battle is over. Caitlynn will be joining Ally in the finale. There is nothing to be disappointed about for our young Coordinator Meagan. She lost to a more experienced one," stated Bailey.
Both Coordinators left the arena and for the last time it was cleaned up for the final battle. Both Coordinators were excited to be where they are. Ally just wants to win while Caitlynn is looking to bounce back from her recent losing streak.
(The Finale: Ally vs. Caitlynn)
"Here we are ladies and gentlemen the final round of the Cincinnati Contest. One will be a winner and be presented with the ribbon and the other will lose and will try again next time. Now let's introduce our first Coordinator that made it to the finale. She is from Boston, MA so please welcome Ally Richards and the person going against her from Columbia Falls, Montana please welcome Caitlynn," introduced Bailey.
Both Coordinators took their spots and got their pokeballs ready. They had been waiting for this moment to be the finale and they both plan to leave all on the arena. Both Coordinators had people cheering in the stands for them. Caitlynn has Dan and her two electric pokemon. Ally had Katie, Brady, and Emma.
"Go Ninetales," said Caitlynn.
"Go Marshtomp," said Ally.

"Ninetales use energy ball,"
"Marshtomp use mud bomb,"
Ninetales sent a green ball of energy at Marshtomp. Marshtomp was quick on his attack and sent a tightly packed ball of mud at the energy ball both hit each and once again sent smoke into the air. Both pokemon lost some from the two attacks hitting each and not the pokemon they targeted for.
"Ninetales use quick attack,"
Ninetales ran at Marshtomp. Marshtomp could not see her coming at him and was hit right in the gut by her colliding with him. After being hit Marshtomp ended up on his back.
"Marshtomp use hydro pump,"
Marshtomp was quick to jump back onto his feet and sent a torrent of water at Ninetales. Ninetales was hit right in the face with the torrent and she was losing points as much as it was hitting her.
"Ninetales use quick attack to get out of there,"
Ninetales picked up her speed and ran away from the torrent. She was now just to the side of Marshtomp. Ninetales then readied a powerful green ball of energy and sent it at Marshtomp. Marshtomp took it to the side and sent him flying into a rock on the arena. The clock struck four minutes just after Marshtomp hopped back to his feet.

"This is so close it could be anyone still. One attack can separate these two pokemon. We'll just have to see if one them can gain the edge," commented Bailey.
"Ninetales use energy ball again,"
"Marshtomp jump behind the rock to take cove from the hit,"
Marshtomp jump behind the rock just as Ninetales sent a powerful ball of green energy at him. This ball of green energy hit the rock and Marshtomp was perfectly fine.
"Marshtomp jump onto the rock and use muddy water,"
Marshtomp jumped from behind the rock and onto it. He then sent a stream of dirty brown water at Ninetales. She took the all the dirty water to the chest area and she still kept fighting.
"Ninetales use shadow ball to knock him off that rock,"
While still taking the dirty water attack Ninetales managed to make a purple shadowy ball. The ball wasn't aimed at Marshtomp just right below him. The shadow ball hits the top of the rock and sends Marshtomp into the air. Ninetales stopped taking the muddy water attack.
"This is so close anyone can win it," commented Bailey on the back and forthness of this match.

Caitlynn flashed over into the crowd and there is Dan and her electric pokemon cheering her on. She then looks up at the score Ally is just barely ahead of her and she knows she can even the odds. Marshtomp landed back onto his feet right in front of Ally.
"Marshtomp use mud bomb,"
"Ninetales use quick attack to avoid the attack,"
Marshtomp sent a tightly packed ball of mud at Ninetales. Ninetales used her speed to avoid that ball of mud.
"Ninetales now stop and use energy ball,"
Ninetales stopped and sent a green ball of energy right at Marshtomp. Marshtomp started to run to get away from the attack. He was nailed right in the back and sent into yet another rock. He still hung on strong.
"Ninetales use flamethrower,"
"Marshtomp use hydro pump,"
Ninetales sent a stream of fire at the Marshtomp that was hunched up against a rock. Even though he was hunched up he still managed to get off an attack and sent a powerful torrent of water at the stream of fire. The fire was pushed back and Ninetales took the hydro pump to the face. Ninetales shook her head and tried to avoid the water but couldn't.
"Come on Cat you have to get her out of there," shouted Dan from where he was standing now.
Caitlynn heard him and though for a few moments before ordering her Ninetales to use dark pulse to fight the water back. The dark rays of energy managed to fight off the water for the moments before Marshtomp stopped. Both pokemon looked tired and beaten, but both refused to give up.

"Man oh man this battle has me on the edge of my seat and I'm not even sitting down," stated Bailey.
"Marshtomp use bide,"
Marshtomp stood there ready to take any hits Ninetales was ready to dish out.
"If she wants her Marshtomp to take hits I'll do that. Ninetales fire off three consecutive energy balls,"
Ninetales fired one ball of green energy right after the other. Marshtomp just stood there and took all three of them and didn't flinch. He did lose some points, but still stood strong just before unleashing a powerful attack right at Ninetales. She took a ton of damage and lost just a little more than Marshtomp evening the score out.
Both pokemon started to breath heavily. This battle has brought out the most in both pokemon and yet they still stand. That was till Marshtomp fell face first to the ground. He had fainted from all the battling he had done. Ninetales won the match, but only stood for a few more seconds and she too had fainted the battle on the screen was even but due to the fact that Marshtomp fainted. Caitlynn and Ninetales win.
"Wow the way to end this battle was by one fainting just mere seconds before the other. So that means the winner of the Cincinnati Contest is Caitlynn and her Ninetales," stated Bailey.
(After the battle)
Caitlynn watched as the guest judge Brock walked over to her and hand her the ribbon she earned. She shook her hand and gave her the ribbon and stepped back and stood with the rest of the judges and clapped some more she soaked it in and then walked back into the locker room as the fans watching started to leave. Once in the locker room she found Ally and walked over to her not to brag but to shake hands and give her some advice.
"Good job out there Ally. I almost thought you might have had it," said Caitlynn.
"Thanks," replied Ally.
"You have nothing to be ashamed of you put on one helluva match and I respect you for that. You have a big future doing this just keep working on it and I'm sure you'll win it all at one time," said Caitlynn before leaving to join her friend Dan waiting outside for her.
"Thanks for the advice," replied Ally leaving to.
(Outside the Contest Dome)
Katie was waiting for Ally and Dan was waiting with her two electric pokemon on his shoulders for Caitlynn. Once they walked out Ally and Katie walked over to the Pokemon Center. Dan and Cat left over to get something to eat. By time Ally and Katie got to the Pokemon Center dinner was ready and they all ate before going to bed for the day.
Let me start by saying. Happy Fourth of July to those you celebrate it and stay safe and avoid fires.
Caitlynn has finally broken her losing streak and barely at that. Now onto Kansas City where this will more than likely be the last one I write till the Grand Festival. Which I'll get into once that comes closer. This whole chapter was just the contest so enjoy that.

Sneak Peak:
The next Chapter will be focused on Andrew again. It will be what he did while the Contest was going on. He will be leaving Sacramento and joining his elite four members in LA. What happens there you'll have to wait and see. We will once again see Andrew in action again and he is about to have a very interesting conversation with a rather interesting individual so stay tuned for that. And after he's done in California he's back to Hawaii to meet with his expedition team.
