(Sunday Moring in Sacramento)
Andrew was standing outside his house looking into the air to see clear skies. He then called out Flygon from his pokeball and once out Flygon stretched out his wings ready to fly. Andrew then walked back into his house and grabbed two berries from the bowl sitting in the kitchen. He then walked back out and saw Flygon just standing there waiting for him. After seeing the berries Flygon started to nudge Andrew's side with his head because he wanted them. Andrew looked over at Flygon and gave him one of the berries. Flygon ate the berry in bite and then eyed the other one.
"Flygon, I feed all you before we got out here. So how come you are still hungry," joked Andrew.
Flygon head-butted Andrew and the knocked him to the ground. It wasn't a hard hit, and Andrew found it funny more than anything else. Andrew gave his last berry to Flygon and once again he ate it in one bite. Andrew stood back up and patted Flygon on his head he had a smile on his face the whole time.
"So Flygon you ready to go now?" asked Andrew.
Flygon let out a happy growl signaling he was ready to go. Andrew took one last look around his family's front yard, he looked down at the six pokemon on his belt. He had Charizard, Lucario, Flygon, Glaceon, his newly evolved Greninja, and Torterra which he hasn't used much since becoming Champion. He then climbed on Flygon and the two of them took off in the direction of Boston. It was close to a four hour fight from Sacramento to Boston. It might have been shorter if he didn't stop Lincoln, Nebraska. He stopped to give Flygon a break and for himself to get a snack. He was only there an hour before back in the air.

Andrew and Flygon landed behind the Pokemon Center and he then returned Flygon before walking out to the sidewalk in front of the Pokemon Center. The streets were busy as it was about noon and the city was alive with people mostly business people on lunch. After taking in the city he walked into the Pokemon Center and once inside, siting in the front area was Katie waiting for him. She had her short blonde hair up in a pony tail. She had her white shirt on and a skirt on. She wouldn't usually wear something like that. Once she saw him walk in she walked over to him and gave him a hug.
"Glad to see you made it here finally," Katie said joyfully.
"I'm just glad I didn't get lost," joked Andrew.
"Now that your here I'm your guide so let's go," replied Katie.
Andrew and Katie left the Pokemon Center and started walking north. They passed many tall towers and small business.
"So what is all this?" asked Andrew asking about the area they were in.
"Oh, this is what I call big business Boston. This is were everyone comes to work and stuff. My dad actually works in this area and he lives about a 45 minute walk from here. I call that residential Boston. We have everything there. Even a Pokemon Center" replied Katie.
"Then why did you have me land at this Pokemon Center rather than that one?" asked Andrew.
"I didn't want you to get swamped by people. That Pokemon Center always seems to be busy with trainers and if any seen you there they'll swarm you," replied Katie.
"Thanks for looking out for me. How did you get here?" asked Andrew.
"We got in 6am and my dad picked us up and dropped us off at home. I went with him once he left for work at 10am to meet you here," replied Katie.
They walked for about 45 minutes before coming to a totally different city then "Big Business" Boston. It was quiet and houses were scattered around. They walked right past a school on the way towards Katie's house.
"That is where I went when I was going to Trainer's School," said Katie pointing towards it as they walked by.
They kept on walking till the came the street Katie lived on. At the end of this street was a large park and across from the houses on that street was a smaller Pokemon Lab. It could also be called the Anderson Lab because Brady's family runs it. Before walking to her house they walked to the end of the street to the park. This park was literally full of people everyone was here. This park goes about three wide streets from east to west. In and in the center were a large number of booths set up for the Ghost and Ghoul Festival.
"Over there near the arena is where they will setting off fireworks tonight to mark the start of the festival," said Katie.
"I take we are going to that," replied Andrew.
"Well only if you want to. I mean I don't want to drag you to it if you don't want to go," said Katie.
"It's fine we're going to it," replied Andrew.
They walked from the park over to the Anderson Lab. It was smaller than the Hanson lab because it didn't serve a lot of people. It was one story, but it took up most of the left side of the street.
"This is where I got my first pokemon Snivy. To think it is now a Serperior. I guess it's been awhile since I started," said Katie.
"Wait your Servine evolved. When did he do that?" asked Andrew.
"He evolved during my match with Adrian. He wasn't the only one that did, Brady's Prinplup evolved into a Empoleon, and my sister's Combusken evolved into a Blaziken," replied Katie.
After walking across the street and walking a few house down they arrived at her house. She opened the front door and found her mom in the front room.
(In the Hopkins' House)
"Hey Katie your home," said her mom getting up and meeting her at the door.
"Hi mom you remember Andrew don't you," replied Katie.
"I thought Katie here was kidding when she invited you. I guess I'm wrong she did invite you in fact," said Michelle.
"Yeah, she invited me Wednesday and thought might as well come and here I am," said Andrew.
"I'm glad your here. I'm not sure how my husband will fill about it, but I guess we'll have to see about that," replied Michelle.
"Dad shouldn't really say anything," said Katie,.
"Oh, that reminds me Emma asked me to let you know she wants you to meet up with her at the park to talk about something. She is at the big old oak tree there and Brady is with her," said Michelle.
"Did she say what she wanted to talk about?" asked Katie.
"I'm not sure she was mumbling so I didn't catch what she was saying," replied Michelle.
"Ok I guess we'll meet up with her," said Katie.
Just as quick as Andrew and Katie got there they left the house and walked over to the park. They walked over to the oak tree and there was Emma, Brady and a guy. He was shorter than Andrew but taller than Katie, he had black glasses on and his blonde hair looks like he just woke up. He was in a short sleeve blue shirt and black jeans and white sneakers His name was Thomas but everyone just calls him Tommy. He was standing next to two others guys most just them Tommy's sidekicks also known as Rod and Dominick. They were about the same height of Tommy, Rod had black hair and Dominick had red hair. Dominick was in a grey shirt and blue jeans with black sneakers. Rod had a black shirt on with a light gray jacket covering it and blue jeans and sneakers on.
Katie and Andrew walk over to them and just stand there waiting to hear what Emma had to say.
"Someone got dressed up toady," said Emma.
"So what if I did," replied Katie.
"Just saying you look nice," said Emma.
"Thanks I guess," replied Katie looking at Andrew.
"Hi Andrew," said Emma with more of a snarl to her.
"Hi," Andrew replied.
"Katie, you remember Tommy, Rod and Dominick. They were reminiscing about what we use to do in school," said Emma.
"And what does that have to do with me being here?" asked Katie.
"Well Tommy here would like to talk about what happened with you and him," replied Emma.
"No, I'm done with that. I have moved past that and moved on," said Katie.
"No, Katie we need to talk," said Tommy standing up.
"Then whatever you have to say you can say it in front of everyone," replied Katie.
"No, let's just talk you and I," said Tommy walking towards.
Katie looked over at Andrew and he stepped in front of Tommy blocking his path. Tommy snarled something before taking a step back. Katie looked at Andrew and mouthed the words thank you. He smiled back at her and then turned his focus back on the others.
"Why can't we just talk?" asked Tommy.
"Last time we talked you tried to kiss me and then I slugged you in the face. I have nothing to say to you and that's that," replied Katie.
"I forgave you for that I get what I did was wrong I just want to talk about it," said Tommy.
"Andrew, you ready to go?" asked Katie.
"Yeah, let's go," replied Andrew.
Andrew and Katie started to leave when Tommy walked and block their path to leave. He was joined by Dominick and Rod.
"Out of the way please?" asked Andrew.
"No, not till I get to talk to Katie," replied Tommy.
"I asked nicely the next time I have to ask it won' be," said Andrew looking over at them.
"You shouldn't even be here. This doesn't concern you Andrew. All it concerns is me and Katie," replied Tommy.
Andrew looked over at Katie and winked. His hat covered it from Tommy, Rod, and Dominick. Katie knew that could mean one think Andrew already had a plan to stop these three stooges from bugging her.
"Well if it concerns my girlfriend here, then it is my problem," said Andrew taking her closest hand into his.
Tommy didn't respond he was shocked from what Emma told him all it was, was just a crush nothing more or less. But seeing Andrew hold her hand changes his thought. While Tommy was shocked Katie was red from ear to ear she never expected Andrew to di that as his plan.
"Now if you would excuses us we'd like to go," said Andrew.
Tommy, Rod, and Dominick stepped out of the way and the two of them left the park and walked back over to her house. Before walking into the house Katie and Andrew stopped on the front porch.
"Andrew can we talk first?" asked Katie.
"Sure," replied Andrew.
Andrew and Katie walked from her house over to a small restaurant that was a just two roads over. At this restaurant they took a seat at a table for two and waited for the waiter to come over to give them a menu.
(At the Restaurant)
"So Katie what did you want to talk about?" asked Andrew.
"My mind is racing I can't wrap my mind around what happened at the park," said Katie.
"I see. I was acting out of instinct I didn't really know how else to approach it," replied Andrew.
"I understand that, but what is my sister going to say to my mom and dad. I can't just explain it was a show," said Katie.
"We have to work on that we could always.." said Andrew getting cut off by Katie.
"I think we should just say the truth," said Katie.
"And what would that be exactly?" asked Andrew.
Before Katie could respond her phone went off and it was text from her mom saying to come home after getting done with dinner. Her dad is home and everyone needs to talk.
"What is it?" asked Andrew seeing Katie looking flustered.
"My dad is home and he has a lot of questions," replied Katie.
"Let's order our food, eat and then we'll head back to your house," said Andrew.
"ok," replied Katie.
The waiter walked over and set two menu's down in front of them. He then said he would return when they are ready to order. Andrew and Katie looked over the menu before decided on what they were going to eat. The waiter returned a few minutes after they set the menu down. They both got the same thing and the waiter walked to the kitchen to deliver his ticket with their food on it. It was another 30 minutes of waiting till the waiter returned with their food, they ate and left the restaurant and walked back over to her house.
(At the Hopkins' Home)
Katie opened the door and walked in she saw her mom in the kitchen and her dad was on his favorite chair in the front room. Her mom looked at Andrew.
"Oh, you can come in as well Andrew," Michelle told Andrew who was standing in the door.
He walked in and followed Katie into the front room. Her dad Micheal watched both enter the room and take a seat on the couch.
"Hi dad. How's work today?" asked Katie.
"Boring as usual nothing productive came from it, but what Emma said you had an odd day at the park today," replied Micheal.
"You could say that dad," said Katie.
Micheal looked over at Andrew who was sitting there quiet.
"You know something Andrew you're a rather quiet person," said Micheal.
"Thanks, I guess I like to hear everything before I speak," replied Andrew.
"Good man, not interrupting others. You have manners," said Micheal.
"It's not that I just don't like to talk over other. Something I learned from my grandparents when they helped out at the lab," said Andrew.
After hearing that Emma and Brady walk down the stairs and join everyone in the front room. Michelle also comes form the kitchen into the front room and takes a seat next to her husband.
"Now from what I heard you Katie and you Emma are fighting over something. I want to know what?" asked Micheal.
They both sat there quiet and looked down.
"We could be here all night till one of you talks. I don't work tomorrow so I can be here as long as I need to be," said Micheal sternly.
"I guess I'll explain it," said Katie.
"Then go ahead," replied Micheal.
"Well when we all got to Madison, WI. I got a call from Andrew he was asking about the festival and after I got off the phone we ate and then I went upstairs. I heard Brady and Emma talk about Andrew and what a bad idea it was to invite him and she calls me and Andrew just a crush nothing more. She said with Andrew I would get hurt by him and she said something about Andrew and Hailey," said Katie.
"Andrew, is it more than?" asked Micheal looking at Andrew.
Andrew took his hat off and set it down on the couch next to him before looking over at Micheal and answering his question.
"Yes it is. There is a big difference from what I have with Hailey and what I have with your daughter Mr. Hopkins. Hailey and I are great friends and have been for years. She was childhood friend and traveling companion. With Katie here I care so much what happens to her and her happiness. I will not hurt her or try not to," replied Andrew.
"Are these feelings you have for my lovely daughter true Andrew?" asked Micheal.
"Yes," replied Andrew looking directly at him.
"Now Katie what about you?" asked Micheal.
"Yes I really like Andrew," replied Katie.
"Then it seems we have a general agreement which means you have my blessing to date my daughter, but if you hurt like Tommy did I'm coming after you and I hope you know that," said Micheal.
"Ok," replied Andrew.
"Now Emma what you did today was wrong, trying to get her back with Tommy," said Micheal.
"How'd you know about that?" asked Emma.
"I know everything that happens here even if I'm not," replied Micheal.
"I guess in the end it was wrong idea and Katie I'm sorry," apologized Emma.
"I accept the apology Em," replied Katie.
Micheal looked down at his watch on his left wrist which said 7:30pm. The firework show starts 8:30pm so there's something's that need to be dealt with before they could get ready to go.
"Well it's time for us to get ready to go to the firework show and I bet you're coming with us Andrew. There's something I have to know Andrew. Where are you staying?" asked Micheal.
"Oh I am at the Hotel De Massa. Speaking of which I better call and see if my room is ready," replied Andrew.
Andrew took out his phone and to that his cell phone was dead. He would have to charge that when he gets back to his room. He forgot to shut his phone off while he was flying.
"So Mr. Hopkins do you guys have a home phone I can use?" asked Andrew.
"Yeah we do I'll show him dad," replied Katie.
Katie took Andrew into the their office and showed him to the phone. After showing it to him she walked back out and waited in the front room with everyone else. Andrew dialed the phone number he wrote down and called it. He waited for a few seconds before someone answered.
"Thank you for calling Hotel De Massa this is Victoria speaking how can I help?" asked Victoria.
"Hello, this Andrew Hanson I called about a room yesterday and I talked to a guy by the name of Viktor Ramos and he booked me a room. So I was wondering if I can come and check in," replied Andrew.
"Did you say Viktor was the one you talked?" asked Victoria.
"Yes I did. Why?" asked Andrew in response.
"Well we just fired him since he double booked some rooms and I'm going to go out on a limb and say he booked you a room that someone already had booked because we have been full of since the middle of October for this week," replied Victoria.
"You got to be kidding," said Andrew annoyed.
Before she could talk again he hung up the phone mumbled a couple of words that aren't worth repeating and walked back into the front room where everyone waited for him to get
"That didn't sound good at all," said Katie.
"It isn't I don't have room at the Hotel De Massa. Apparently a dumb a** that used to work there booked me in a room that was already booked. Now I'm going to go walk over to the Pokemon Center and see," Andrew said annoyed of just thinking about it.
"Unfortunately the Pokemon Center in town doesn't have rooms it just a place check your pokemon," replied Katie.
"I'll go check out a hotel in differnet city," said Andrew.
"Dad, we have the guest room can't we just let him stay there?" asked Katie looking at her Dad.
"What about the Anderson home Brady?" asked Micheal.
"Well all my brothers are home otherwise we'd put up and my oldest brother James is home and him and his wife are using our guest room," replied Brady.
"I don't want to be an inconvenience. I can fly over to another city and stay there," said Andrew.
"Well as long as you don't try anything when were all asleep you can stay in the guest room. You can't go upstairs when no one is here or asleep," replied Micheal.
"That's fine Mr. Hopkins," Andrew said understanding why he said that.
"Good, and you can stop with the Mr. Hopkins you can call me Micheal. In the guest room there's a closet and a bathroom with a shower. Down the hall next to the office is just a bathroom with only a toilet and upstairs is the girl's rooms and our master bedroom and another bathroom with a shower," said Micheal.
"Then it sounds like the guest room has everything I need. Just one question I can see Katie's Espeon is out and about do you mind if I keep Glaceon out. He isn't that much trouble," replied Andrew.
"Sure we love pokemon here and no harm will come to them," said Micheal.
Micheal looks down at his watch and it said 8pm. Before showing Andrew to the guest room he reminded everyone that if they want to change they would have to do so now before they leave. He then took Andrew to the guest room and then left quickly and walked upstairs to get changed. Andrew set his backpack down on the bed and unclipped his six pokeballs and put five of them in his backpack and called out Glaceon. Glaceon let out a yawn and hopped up on the bed and went to sleep. He put his mega ring also in his backpack for safe keeping.
Back in the front room Katie and Emma went upstairs to get changed so did their mom. Andrew watched them leave and then closed the door. He took his mega ring and put it in the dresser. He then got dressed in some warmer clothes and then left the room and took a seat on the couch. He was joined by Katie a moment later. Micheal and Michelle were down shortly after Katie was, Brady came back around a few minutes after Michelle and Micheal came. Emma was the last one to come.
It was still a rather warm evening for Boston standards it was about 70 degrees outside and everyone was still dressed in short sleeves. Emma had a black shirt on with a white skirt and black flats. Brady had a button up short sleeve shirt and blue jeans. Katie which was the most odd was in a light blue almost white dress and black leggings the dress went down to her knees she had black flats on as well. Andrew was in a grey polo and blue jeans. He didn't have a hat on. Katie and Emma both had their hair down. Katie had her glasses on. Before leaving they all grabbed a lightweight jacket and they left.
(At the Park)
"Well kids have fun me and your mom are going to the adult area and have some fun of our own we'll meet here at the entrance when the firework show is over not a minute later," said Micheal.
Before taking a seat. Both couples grabbed blankets from the cart and took seats on the grass. Andrew and Katie found a seat on the hill further back form the show. The reason is because Andrew didn't really want to get bugged by everyone if someone sees him. Emma and Brady took a seat among some friends near the front.

"Why don't you want to sit with Emma and Brady?" asked Andrew.
" I don't get along with their friends. To be honest I didn't have a lot of friends the only one I had was Ally who will be here tomorrow," replied Katie.
"I see I understand. I had five friends when I went to school three of which I don't talk to anymore and one we already know who that is and other is Donald and he's my rival turned friend," said Andrew.
"I was always the nerd or the geek of the group when I hung out with them," said Katie.
"I come off with my friends as the smarta** or the know-it-all with my group, but it does pay off," replied Andrew.
"I guess your right about that. If you weren't that smart you wouldn't be were you are," said Katie.
"You can say it like that, but there's more to it than just being smart hard work and training are needed as well," replied Andrew.
"It sounds like the stuff preach when your doing a radio interview," joked Katie.
"Hey, your right that is exactly what I say," said Andrew laughing afterward.
"Andrew, on a serious note are we a couple?" asked Katie shyly.
"Before I answer that I want to let you know what comes with it. You of all people should know what my schedule is. I going to warn you there will be a lot scrutiny you can't let it get to you. You can't tell a lot of people because if the wrong person knows they could threaten you. With me there is a chance you could be put in harms way and you know why. I don't want to overwhelm you with anything or scare you," replied Andrew.
Katie leaned in and kissed him. The kiss lasted only few minutes before she broke apart she didn't want to overwhelm Andrew because wasn't expecting that and by the look on his face after that moment he was in shock. for the first time Andrew didn't have a word to say he felt something and he didn't know how describe it. She to felt something in the bit
"I hope that is an answer to the doubts in your head," said Katie still in slight shock of what she just did.
"It sure does," replied Andrew kissing her this time just before the fireworks start.
"You know Andrew you are the first guy I kissed," said Katie.
"I was," said Andrew slightly confused.
"Yeah I could never find the right guy and finally I think I did and of all the people it would be you the person that rescued me that faithful day in Hopkinton," replied Katie.
"I would be lying if I thought something would come from it. I was just doing my job and protecting a new trainer. I will say I was wrong and something great came from it," said Andrew.
Katie puts her head on his shoulders just as the fireworks go off in the air. The show last a little over and an hour and no one came over to where Andrew and Katie.
"I never actually knew. But what's with Brady and Emma are they anything?" asked to Katie before they got from the blanket.
"I can't believe you of all people never picked up on it you doofus. They have been for awhile even before our journey," replied Katie.
"I see we went right to name calling," joked Andrew.
Katie stuck her tongue out at him and at his remark. He looked at her seriously before laughing. She laughed at the serious look because it looked like he had to go use the bathroom.
After the fireworks had stopped Brady and Emma meet up with Andrew and Katie at the park entrance. Their parents meet up with them a few minutes later and you have to blind to not see they were a little tipsy from drinking.

After splitting away with Andrew and Katie they took a seat among some of their friends.
"Em are you happy for Katie or still no?" asked Brady.
"I am if she is. And from that conversation at the house I think Andrew's feelings for Katie are real and I'm done being mad at her. Once it comes time to get back to our journey I'm forgive her and hopefully she'll forgive me," replied Emma.
Tommy and the two other stooges were sitting next to him on the grass.
"What does Andrew have that I don't?" asked Tommy to Emma.
"Well he has Katie and by looks of it I don't think there's a chance you'll get her back," replied Emma.
"I mean I knew that, but he nothing special he's just a normal person just like me," said Tommy.
"Tommy just move on and forgot about her," said Brady.
"I just can't without talking to her. I need to clear the air, but with Andrew around I doubt I'll get a chance," said Tommy.
"What's left to say to her that you haven't already?" asked Brady.
"I just want to say that I care about her and Andrew is wrong for her," replied Tommy.
"Then go tell her," said Emma.
Tommy got up and walked towards where Andrew and Katie were and when he got closer he saw Katie kiss Andrew and that stopped him cold. He then turned around and walked back to the others.
"That was short did you tell her?" asked Emma.
"No, I saw her kiss Andrew and that was it," replied Tommy.
Hearing that shocked Emma, Katie was so keen on not giving out her first kiss till she was ready and at that moment Tommy was shocked he tried under the same circumstances last year at this time and he got slugged instead. Moments after he got back the fireworks started and the group sat their and watched. After they had ended Brady and Emma got up and meet up with Andrew and Katie at the gate waiting for their parents.
(At the Park Gate)
They all left the park and made it back to the Hopkins' home that is where Brady said good night to Emma and went across the street to his home and once at home he up to his room and went to bed. Andrew, Katie, Emma, Michelle, and Micheal all went to the home and went their own way. Andrew closed the guest room door and got dressed. The girls went upstairs and into their rooms for the evening. Micheal and Michelle retired to their room for the evening as well.
(In the Guest Room)
Andrew with his phone charged finally got to turn it on and found a message from a blocked number. He listened to the message and he couldn't make heads or tails of it so he left it on his phone and decided it would be a good idea to get it checked by a tech back in DC to see if he can decipher the message. He shut off his phone left it on the charger and took out his laptop he had no messages and that's what he liked. He set his backpack in the closet and got dressed before going to bed.
What an eventful Sunday in Boston. We finally see Andrew and Katie as something more than friends which is great. A message that made no sense what so ever is something to get checked out. We finally got to meet Tommy and the Hopkins sisters are on the track to talking again thanks to their parents.
Now I will not do day to day since that would be unnecessary. I'll only do days that stuff happens and most chapter will have multiple days in it just till we get back to the real story since this is just a side note to it.
I would like a "shipping" name for Andrew and Katie. I'm going to leave that up to you guys the readers. I would love to see what you come up with.

We learned Andrew has a Torterra and that Froakie he had evolved into Greninja. You'll learn the moves on these pokemon later.

They will be back in Kansas City. That should be in about 5 to 7 chapters from now.
